Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of online learning processes during the Covid-19 pandemic on the learning behavior of upper-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Kendari. This research used a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 412 students, with a sample of 62 students. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression method. The findings show that students’ learning behavior tended to be in the low category with a percentage of 33.87%. The SPSS output indicated a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.873, which means that the online learning process variable influenced students’ learning behavior by 87.3%. The regression equation obtained was Y = 1.078 + 0.966X, indicating that if there were no online learning process, students’ learning behavior would be around a score of 1.078. The conclusion of this study is that the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant effect on the learning behavior of upper-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Kendari by 87.3%.

Abstract

Abstract

Flood disasters frequently occur in Rajabasa Village, Bandar Lampung, particularly during periods of intense rainfall. This study seeks to examine the primary causes of flooding and assess mitigation strategies that can be implemented using spatial planning and community engagement approaches. The research methods include spatial analysis, interviews with local residents, and hydrological modeling through HEC-RAS software. Findings reveal that the main causes of flooding are inadequate drainage infrastructure, land use change, and waste-induced waterway blockages. Therefore, enhancing drainage capacity, promoting riverbank vegetation, and fostering public awareness on environmental cleanliness are essential mitigation efforts.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the need for classroom transformation towards innovative, contextual learning, and oriented towards strengthening 21st-century competencies. One potential technology that can be utilized in elementary schools is government digital TV supported by Smart TV devices. However, the use of this technology has not been optimal due to the limited digital literacy of teachers. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of teachers at SDN 8 Konda through the Classroom Transformation Workshop with Digital Smart TV: Optimizing Government Digital TV as a Window to the World in the Classroom. The implementation method uses a participatory approach that actively involves teachers through four stages: planning, workshop implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show that the workshop and mentoring were able to improve teachers' understanding of digital literacy, government digital TV policies, and skills in operating and integrating Smart TV into learning. Teachers began to be able to design audiovisual-based learning that is more contextual, interactive, and relevant to the characteristics of students. In addition, this activity also increased teachers' confidence in utilizing technology as part of a pedagogical strategy. The evaluation of the activity showed a positive response from participants and increased awareness of the importance of digital literacy in supporting classroom transformation. Thus, optimizing the government's Smart TV-based digital TV program has proven effective as a means of strengthening teachers' digital literacy and has the potential to become a model for developing innovative learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Suoh is a pull-apart basin located along the Semangko segment of the Sumatra Fault Zone and filled by thick fluvio-volcanic and alluvial deposits that strongly amplify seismic waves and increase surface damage during earthquakes. This study aims to perform seismic micro-zonation of Suoh using the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio (HVSR) method combined with shallow shear-wave velocity (Vs) inversion to support hazard assessment and land-use planning in the Suoh aspiring geopark. Single station microtremor measurements were acquired at 30 sites and processed with Geopsy to obtain dominant frequency (f0), amplification factor (A0), and seismic vulnerability index (Kg). The HVSR curves were further inverted using the Dinver module to retrieve 1D Vs profiles, with initial models constrained by the global CRUST1.0 model and local geology. The results indicate strong lateral variability in site conditions, with low f0 and high A0 values concentrated in the central–western basin, producing high Kg and reflecting thick-soft sediments overlying deep engineering bedrock (Vs ≥ 800 m/s) at depths exceeding 80–100 m. These high-vulnerability zones spatially coincide with shallow seismicity associated with the Semangko Fault. Based on Kg, the study delineates low, moderate, and high seismic vulnerability zones, highlighting areas where seismic amplification and resonance effects are most pronounced. The combination of HVSR parameters with 2D Vs imaging provides a practical framework for identifying high-risk zones and guiding risk-informed land-use planning in tectono-volcanic basins such as Suoh.
