Abstract

Sekolah Luar Biasa ABC Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan berkomitmen untuk memenuhi kebutuhan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang personal, holistik, dan inklusif. Seiring waktu, sekolah ini memperluas layanannya bagi siswa tunarungu, tunagrahita, tunanetra, dan autis, serta menempatkan fokus tidak hanya pada aspek akademik, tetapi juga pada pengembangan keterampilan hidup dan sosial. Tantangan yang dihadapi adalah belum optimalnya identifikasi dan pembinaan potensi siswa di bidang olahraga, khususnya dalam cabang bocce. Kurangnya kompetensi guru dalam mendeteksi bakat atletik dan belum adanya struktur klub olahraga yang terorganisasi menjadi hambatan dalam pengembangan prestasi siswa. Melalui program pendampingan yang meliputi pelatihan manajemen klub, asistensi administratif, dan evaluasi berkala, guru dan tenaga kependidikan dilatih untuk mengelola klub olahraga bocce secara sistematis dan profesional. Kegiatan menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan manajerial, dokumentasi, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan olahraga. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan dukungan yang tepat, SLB dapat menjadi pusat pembinaan prestasi yang mampu menggali potensi siswa berkebutuhan khusus secara optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dan relevansi program senam ritmik dalam menstimulasi kemampuan sensorimotor anak tunawicara melalui pendekatan studi literatur (literature review) yang disusun berdasarkan analisis tematik dari berbagai hasil penelitian nasional dan internasional. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mensintesis bukti ilmiah mengenai hubungan antara aktivitas ritmik, integrasi sensorimotor, dan perkembangan komunikasi nonverbal anak dengan hambatan bicara. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa senam ritmik memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan sensorimotor anak tunawicara. Melalui kombinasi unsur musik, ritme, dan gerakan berulang, kegiatan ini mampu mengaktifkan hubungan antara sistem auditori, visual, dan motorik pada otak, sehingga memperkuat koordinasi, keseimbangan, serta kontrol postural anak. Selain manfaat fisik, senam ritmik juga berperan dalam pengembangan aspek psikologis dan sosial, seperti peningkatan konsentrasi, regulasi emosi, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Aktivitas berkelompok dalam latihan ritmis membantu anak mengekspresikan diri melalui gerak nonverbal dan mengurangi hambatan komunikasi yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan verbal.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of fundamental locomotor skills among elementary school students, which was influenced by the limited variation and innovation in physical education learning media. The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of movement exploration learning media in improving students’ locomotor skills. A quantitative experimental method with a pretest and posttest control group design was employed. The participants consisted of 30 elementary school students who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The instrument used was a locomotor skill test covering walking, running, jumping, and hopping. Data were analyzed using statistical tests to compare improvements between groups. The results showed a significant increase in locomotor skills in both groups, with the experimental group demonstrating higher improvement than the control group. The findings indicated that movement exploration learning media effectively enhanced students’ active participation and improved learning outcomes in physical education. The novelty of this study lies in the application of exploration based learning media that provides contextual and enjoyable movement experiences for elementary school students.

Abstract

The selection process for Indonesian civil service schools demands high physical performance standards, yet structured and digitized physical coaching systems remain scarce. This study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of CoachKu, an Android-based application serving as a coach marketing platform and training support system for selection preparation. Adopting the Borg and Gall Research and Development model, the study involved 40 senior high school students as prospective selection candidates using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Instruments comprised student response questionnaires, physical performance pretests and posttests, and expert validity scales. Analytical techniques included paired sample t-test, normalized gain score (N-Gain), effect size (Cohen’s d), product-moment validity, and Cronbach’s Alpha reliability. Results revealed significant improvement between pre-test (M = 56.52; SD = 3.71) and posttest (M = 73.03; SD = 3.91) with t = 54.64, p < 0.001. The average N-Gain was 0.4024 (moderate category) and the effect size Cohen’s d = 4.25 (large category). All questionnaire items were valid (r > 0.312) with high reliability (α = 0.8745). Expert validation indicated product feasibility of 93.00% (very feasible). It is concluded that the CoachKu application is both practically and significantly effective in improving the physical performance of prospective civil service school selection candidates.

Abstract

Background Problems: Over the past decade, research on technology in Pencak Silat has grown rapidly. However, the literature review on this topic was very limited. Research Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to conduct an in-depth systematic literature review on the role of technology in the development of Pencak Silat. Methods: Two databases (Scopus and Web of Science) were used to select articles containing information on this topic. The search was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. After the exclusion criteria, only 14 articles were categorised. Findings and Results: Results from the analysed literature showed the positive impact of various technologies on the learning of Pencak Silat and improvements in training and sporting events. The application of technologies such as interactive multimedia, Android applications, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) has been shown to improve students' understanding and achievement in understanding the basic and complex movements of Pencak Silat. Likewise, in the world of sports, technologies such as RFID, fuzzy logic, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D motion capture, sensors, and VR have changed the way training and scoring in Pencak Silat matches were conducted. Conclusion: Technology has played a key role in improving Pencak Silat education and the sport of Pencak Silat. It has brought significant changes in the way movements are understood, training is conducted, and judgement is made. With wise use, technology continues to open up opportunities to better understand Pencak Silat and improve the quality of learning and competition.
