Abstract

The trend of ornamental plants during the Covid-19 pandemic has led to high public demand, especially for imported Aglaonema types because they are considered to have striking colors and patterns that are more attractive than local Aglaonema. Knowledge of consumer preferences or tastes is one of the solutions in developing local Aglaonema products so that they are not less competitive. This study aims to analyze consumer preferences for local aglaonema seen from the relative importance of attributes and the combination of attributes that consumers prefer the most. The location of the research was determined purposively, namely in Deli Serdang district. Determination of the sample is done by purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The analysis uses conjoint analysis. The results showed that the level of consumer interest in local aglaonema attributes ranging from the highest to the lowest was the attribute price, leaf color, leaf shape, leaf motif, plant appearance, leaf texture, and leaf size. Meanwhile, the combination of attributes that consumers like the most is a combination of red and green leaf color, lanceolate leaf shape, batik leaf motif, small leaf size, thick leaf texture, compact leaf arrangement and low price.

Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan volume ekspor wortel dari Kabupaten Karo memiliki permasalahan yang kompleks mulai dari hulu (on farm) hingga ke hilir. Permintaan wortel di pasar Malaysia, masih tinggi dan ini menjadi peluang pasar bagi petani wortel di provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis daya saing wortel dari Kabupaten Karo, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ekspor wortel dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia. Metode penelitian menggunakan Revealed Comparative advantage (RCA) untuk menganalisis daya saing wortel di Pasar Malaysia. Regresi Linear Berganda untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ekspor wortel dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya saing wortel dari Kabupaten Karo memiliki daya saing yang rendah. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap volume ekspor wortel dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia adalah Produksi wortel, Harga domestik wortel, harga internasional wortel, Nilai tukar rupiah terhadap ringgit. Secara parsial Indeks daya saing dan pendapatan perkapita penduduk Malaysia tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia.

Abstract

The high disparity in red chili prices between producer prices and consumer prices indicates that farmers and consumers do not benefit from the red chili trade, due to the long marketing channels and market power of intermediaries. Prices that fluctuate and do not reflect actual market conditions indicate the inefficiency of marketing agents is called asymmetric price transmission. This study aims to analyze the transmission pattern of red chili prices from producer to consumer level in North Sumatra Province. The analytical model used in this study is the Asymmetric Error Correction Model (AECM). The data used is secondary data that is systematically recorded in the form of monthly time series data from 2016-2020. The results showed that the price transmission between red chili marketing institutions in North Sumatra Province is asymmetric in the short term and long term in the wholesale-producer and wholesale-consumer relationships.

Abstract

The role of financial institutions is very much needed in the form of supporting the development of the oil palm agricultural sector. Banking is one of the agents of development. The main function of banking is as a financial intermediary institution. Therefore, banks are expected to be able to channel financing to the agricultural sector. However, in the distribution of credit or financing facilities, there are terms and elements of credit that must be fulfilled by farmers as prospective debtors at Bank Mandiri Syariah, after which a feasibility analysis will be carried out on prospective debtors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financing needs, income, collateral value, education, and length of farming on financing approval for oil palm farmers. The method of determining the sample was carried out by using a census, namely the entire debtor in which the farmers who applied for oil palm financing were sampled in this study as many as 61 people. In this study, it was processed using logistic regression analysis. The results showed the variables of financing needs and collateral have a significant effect on financing approval, while income, education and length of farming variables have no significant effect on financing approval. If the variables of financing needs, income, collateral, education and length of farming increases, the financing approval will increase/agree.Keywords: Palm oil; Farmers; Financing; Banking.

Abstract

Regional Financing Operation (RFO) salah satu unit kerja perbankan dibentuk oleh Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), untuk membantu penyaluran dana kepada calon debitur. secara umum beban kerja, budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja mengalami permasalah pada karyawan BSI unit kerja RFO Medan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh beban kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dimediasi motivasi kerja karyawan BSI RFO Medan. Populasi dijadikan dalam penelitian seluruh karyawan BSI unit kerja RFO Medan sebanyak 112 orang. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh, dengan menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis SEM dan dibantu dengan software AMOS. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa beban kerja berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Beban kerja berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction in PT. ABC. The population of this study is all employees working at the mill which amounts to 80 employees. Sample determination is carried out by saturated sampling technique. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires. Data analysis using path analysis. The results of this study show the positive and significant influence of organizational culture on employee performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance.  Furthermore, it is also known that job satisfaction can mediate the relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment to performance.

Abstract

Rumah sakit umum daerah adalah fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang berperan cukup penting untuk pembangunan kesehatan. Ini dikarenakan fungsi utama dari rumah sakit yaitu melaksanakan pelayanan kesehatan, maka dari itu pengelolaan keperawatan merupakan bagian yang terpenting dalam manajemen rumah sakit. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perawat adalah kompetensi dan beban kerja. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja juga merupakan aspek penting yang mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja perawat melalui kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada RS XYZ dengan sampel sebanyak 74 responden yang merupakan perawat rawat inap dengan status PNS. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur dengan aplikasi Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat, beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat. Secara tidak langsung kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat melalui kepuasan kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat melalui kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training, education and motivation on the performance of employees of the Samosir Regency Culture and Tourism Office. This study used primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents who were selected using a census technique. The variable measurement scale used in this study uses a Likert scale which functions to measure variable indicators that produce ordinal data. The results showed that training had an effect on Employee Performance at the Samosir Regency Culture and Tourism Office, education had an effect on Employee Performance at the Samosir Regency Culture and Tourism Office, motivation had an effect on Employee Performance on the Samosir Regency Culture and Tourism Office and training, education, and motivation had an effect on Employee Performance on Samosir Regency Culture and Tourism Office.
