Abstract

The present study aims to determine the effect of the PowerPoint-based collaborative learning model on student learning outcomes on the theme of togetherness in class II of Agia Sophia Private Elementary School. This research is quantitative research. The research subjects were class II students at Agia Sophia Private Elementary School. The research instrument is a questionnaire with multiple choice test instrument. Student learning outcomes using collaborative learning model obtained an average score of 79.8. Meanwhile, learning outcomes without using the collaborative learning model were 66.3 and for the questionnaire, the students obtained an average score of 85.7. Furthermore, the hypothesis result shows that tcount is 7.212 while ttable is 2.042. It proves that the hypothesis is greater, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates that there is an effect between collaborative learning model learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper explains the effect of basic literacy activity on the reading interest of grade V students at UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan for the academic year 2022/2023. The study uses quantitative methods. The research population is 29 fifth-grade students of UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan. The sampling uses saturated samples for 29 VA class students. The result implies that the student’s average score is 82.2, which is in the moderate category before the treatment. Based on the normality test result at 0.936, the data are normally distributed. The result of the correlation test is 0.720, which means rcount 0.720 ≥ rtable 0.367, then Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a considerable effect between basic literacy activity on students' reading interest in class V UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan. It can be seen from the T-test result where the tcount 5,391 ≥ ttable 1,703 so Ha is accepted. Hence, there is a significant positive effect of basic literacy activity on students' reading interest in class V of UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan for the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school culture on the character education of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 060903 Medan Helvetia. The independent variables in this study are school culture (X) and the dependent variable character education (Y). The method used in this research is a quantitative survey type approach, the sample in this study is 39 students from all grades IV. Data on school culture and character education were obtained from a questionnaire distributed to fourth grade students. Student character education shows that the average value of students is 79.1. Furthermore, the normality test results are at a significant level (α = 0.05) with normal criteria, namely Lcount ≥ Ltable. From the results of school culture, the Lcount value is greater than the Ltable value where Lcount is 0.200 ≥ 0.05 Ltable, so school culture is normally distributed. From the analysis results with SPSS ver 22, a correlation coefficient of 0.857 is obtained, meaning rcount ≥ rtable, so there is an influence of school culture on character education. In the t test conducted, namely tcount ≥ ttable and the results obtained were 10.09 ≥ 1.687, which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so there is an influence between school culture on the character education of class IV students at SD Negeri 060903 Medan Helvetia in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

The process of life begins with the family, and the process is different in every family.  In general, a child's personality is a reflection of the family. Having a good personality requires a long process, and requires good cooperation between members. A good personality usually starts from good habits from an early age that start from parental parenting, and along with the passage of time, good habits will become a character and become part of a child's personality. The growth of a child's character is determined by the assistance of parents through the parenting style that is given every day in their lives. The better the parenting style, the better the social growth of a child. The purpose of this study is to see how the parenting style of children and how the parenting pattern affects the social behavior of children. This research method is a quantitative type of survey. The results were found through questionnaire data on the type of parenting and children's social behavior. The type of parental parenting that is dominant in children is permissive parenting, which tends to give freedom to children.

Abstract

This study seeks to determine the impact of the make a match learning model on student learning outcomes in English class IV SD Negeri 066050 Medan Learning Year 2022/2023. The research method used is experimental quantitative research methodology. To obtain information in the form of data, a test instrument of 30 questions is needed. The number of research samples was 30 students based on purposive sample technique. To see the initial ability of students, the study conducted a Pre Test with the results representing a set of scores of 59.87 which fell into the category of less. The results of the Post Test are better than the results of the Pre Test given previously with the average value of the students reaching 80.17 in the excellent category. The results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient show an increase in the level of student learning success where 14rhitung">  ≥ 14 rtable"> l with the results of 0.770 ≥ 0.361. Furthermore, hypothesis testing is to compare the value of 14thitung "> ≥ 14ttabel"> . Obtained the value of 14thitung"> = 6.387 while 14ttable"> = 1.697. Because 14tcount">  ≥ 14ttable">  (6.387 ≥ 1.697) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that the make a match learning model has a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The results of this research indicate an increase in student learning outcomes in class IV mathematics lessons at SD Negeri 097802 Tumbukan Dalig, Simalungun Regency. This is proven by the results of research on the pretest (initial test) where 6 students (31.57%) got a complete score, while 13 students (68.42%) got an incomplete score, with an average learning result of 59.15. In the first cycle posttest, it increased to 11 students (57.89%) who completed while 8 students (42.10%) did not, with an average learning outcome of 66.73. In the second cycle posttest, completeness of learning outcomes increased to 16 students (84.21%) who completed and 3 students (15.78%) received an incomplete score, with an average learning outcome of 75.78. Furthermore, from the results of observations of teacher activities in implementing cycle I learning, an average of 52% (sufficient) was obtained and observations of student activities were obtained with an average of 50 (sufficient). In cycle II the results of teacher observations increased to 84% (very good) and the results of observations of student activities also increased to 86 (very good) thus it was found that by implementing the edutainment method there was an increase in the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 097802 Tumbukan Dalig , Simalungun Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the inquiry learning paradigm affects students' learning outcomes in math class IV SD Negeri 040544 Dolat Rayat 2022/2023 Academic Year. The experimental technique was used in this study, and there were 195 students in grades I through VI at SD Negeri 040544 Dolat Rayat who made up the study population. Using a purposive sample, 31 pupils from class IV make up the sample. According to the study's findings, the average of 86.19 and a correlation test score of 0.855 place the student learning outcomes employing the inquiry model in the very good category. If rcount 0.855 is greater than rtable 0.355, then the hypothesis is accepted. As a result, the inquiry learning methodology has a significant impact on students' learning outcomes in math class IV SD Negeri 040544 Dolat Rayat. According to the findings of the T-test study, where tcount ttable is 8.861 2.045, Ha is deemed to be acceptable. This demonstrates that the application of the inquiry learning paradigm had a considerable favorable impact on student learning outcomes in math class IV SD Negeri 040544 Dolat Rayat in the 2022–2023 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kepribadian siswa di kelas V SD 106144 Mencirim Medan Sunggal. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD 106144 Mencirim Medan Sunggal yang berjumlah 45 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampl random sampling. Variabel penelitian ini meliputi pola asuh orang tua sebagai variabel bebas dan kepribadian sebagai variabel terikat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Untuk menguji kualitas instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi produkt moment yang terdiri dari satu variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap kepribadian siswa , besarnya pengaruh tersebut sebesar 21,8%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan  media atraktif roda  pintar terhadap  hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen jenis penelitian kuantitatif.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD RK Budi Luhur Medan di kelas III mulai 29 sampai 31 Maret 2022. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling sederhana. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh hasil pre test 60,66 dengan kategori cukup. Hasil post test dengan nilai rata-rata 84,6 dengan kategori kuat dan angket model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media atraktif roda pintar dengan nilai rata-rata 80,2. Hasil analisis korelasi pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media atraktif roda pintar terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai korelasi rhitung = 0,725 dengan rtabel 0,361. Dengan demikian nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel maka korelasi sangat signifikan. Uji hipotesis dengan uji t dengan perolehan thitung =5,563 dengan ttabel =1,697 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media atraktif roda pintar terhadap hasil belajar dilihat dari pengaruh variabel x dan y yaitu adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media atraktif roda pintar terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Circuit Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa di Kelas IV SD. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa, Model penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yang dilaksanakan pada satu kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model Circuit Learning termasuk kategori baik sekali dengan rata-rata 81,86. Pengujian normalitas diperoleh nilai signifikansi hasil belajar adalah Lhitung < Ltabel yaitu 0,200 > 0,05. Berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi dari hasil belajar berdistribusi normal. Pada pengujian korelasi, nilai koefisien sebesar 0,665 artinya rhitung ≥ rtabel 0,361. Maka terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara model pembelajaran Circuit Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 117851 Aek Nabara. Selanjutnya pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan thitung adalah 4,708 kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan rtabel pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Oleh karena itu thitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 4,708 ≥ 1,697 maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis nilai atau (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Circuit Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 117851 Aek Nabara Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022.
