Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective method for teaching Arabic vocabulary to children in Wanayasa Village using an interactive approach. The research focuses on the use of media such as songs, flashcards, and educational games to improve students' understanding and interest in learning Arabic. Initial observations revealed that children in Wanayasa Village had limited proficiency in Arabic vocabulary and considered Arabic to be a difficult and boring subject. Therefore, this mentoring program was designed to introduce Arabic vocabulary through engaging activities that encourage active student participation. The results of the study show that the interactive method increased children's involvement in learning, improved their vocabulary comprehension, and changed their perception of Arabic to a more positive one. Evaluations conducted after the mentoring sessions indicate a significant improvement in the mastery of the vocabulary taught. These findings support the theory that varied and enjoyable teaching methods can enhance motivation and learning outcomes, particularly in Arabic language instruction. This study recommends the use of interactive methods as an effective alternative.

Abstract

The over time role of technology becomes very important. That is because the function of technology is to facilitate human work. Because human needs are increasingly complex, technological developments are created in such a way as to meet human needs. The experts in the medical field are currently very dependent on technology to do their jobs, in order to obtain effective and efficient results. Application system designed aims to help experts in the medical field to diagnose diseases through introduction to white blood cell types. The recognition system was developed using the Nearest Feature Line (NFL) method. In this NFL method, characteristic lines are formed using the method of linear interpolation, linear spline, quadratic spline, and cubic spline. Aside from introducing an introduction system, this paper also discusses comparisons between interpolation methods to form characteristic lines. The test was carried out using FTI Untar Pattern Recognition laboratory blood cell data. The test results show that the formation of characteristic lines using the linear interpolation method provides better recognition results compared to the spline interpolation method.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics and characteristics of senior female leadership within the social organization of the Persatuan Istri Veteran Republik Indonesia (PIVERI), particularly at the Regional Management level. PIVERI is a women-based organization comprised of the wives of veterans, with members ranging in age from 50 to 90 years, who continue to play an active role in advancing the independence of Indonesian women. Employing servant leadership and transformational leadership frameworks, this research utilizes a qualitative approach with a multiple case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of seven PIVERI Regional Management Boards across various regions of Indonesia. The interview results revealed that in six Regional Management Boards with strong performance, the application of servant leadership was evident, particularly in elements such as persuasion, awareness, community building, listening, and empathy, which appeared consistently and significantly. The leadership competencies of senior women in PIVERI are supported by extensive experience, diverse educational backgrounds, and advanced organizational skills. Their leadership characteristics reflect collaborative values, emotional maturity, and a strong commitment to the organization’s social mission. This research underscores the importance of establishing leadership age limits, providing education for members of productive age, and securing government support to strengthen the role of senior women-based social organizations. These findings contribute to the broader study of women’s leadership in the context of social organizations and offer practical implications for enhancing similar organizational structures and leadership strategies in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of E-Service Quality and E-Trust on the decision to use. The data used in this study is primary data. The population in this research consists of users of online loan services on the EasyCash platform. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling, involving a total of 100 respondents. Hypothesis testing was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis, data quality testing, classical assumption testing, as well as T-test and F-test, with results processed using SPSS. The findings of this study indicate that E-Service Quality and E-Trust implemented by EasyCash have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use online loans on the EasyCash platform. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fear of missing out (FOMO) on impulse buying of fashion products that occurs through the Shopee marketplace, especially in Palembang. The data used in this research is primary data. The population in this study are people in the city of Palembang who use the Shopee application. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling method and obtained 50 samples. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially, fears and worries have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, while anxieties have a positive but not significant effect on impulse buying. Simultaneously, fears, worries, and anxieties have a positive and significant effect on impulse buying.

Abstract

Understanding the psychological factors influencing consumer behavior is a essential for enhancing purchase intention. This study examines the impact of positive emotion as a mediator between purchase intention and cognitive load or the decoy effect. Utilizing a quantitative methodology, data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with the PLS-SEM technique using SmartPLS. A purposive sampling method yielded 129 iPhone 14 users as respondents for this study. The findings indicate that the decoy effect and cognitive load has a significant impact on purchase intention when mediated by positive emotion. These results underscore the importance of minimizing cognitive load and leveraging the decoy effect in marketing practices.

Abstract

Bisnis kuliner menjadi bisnis yang paling banyak diminati oleh kalangan pebisnis. Bisnis ini menjual berbagai macam produk mulai dari makanan ringan hingga makanan berat. Waroeng Dalam merupakan salah satu UMKM di Kota Batam yang bergerak dalam bidang kuliner. Permasalahan umum ditemui dari UMKM Waroeng Dalam adalah sering terjadi kesalahan saat proses pencatatan manual ke database, serta juga belum adanya pencatatan akuntansi atau penerapan sistem informasi akuntansi yang lebih baik sehingga pemilik UMKM ini tidak mengetahui keuntungan atau pendapatan yang diperoleh. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi akuntansi yang handal dan akurat dengan harapan agar dapat diimplementasikan oleh UMKM Waroeng Dalam. Metode yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dan observasi yang dapat mendukung penulis untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih akurat mengenai aktivitas dan transaksi di UMKM Waroeng Dalam. Setelah penerapannya, pemilik kini dapat dengan mudah mengetahui keuntungan atau kerugian usaha operasionalnya dalam jangka waktu yang diinginkan, serta penyediaan laporan informasi keuangan yang tepat dan akurat dapat meningkatkan kegiatan usaha yang efektif dan efisien. Laporan yang ada juga dapat digunakan oleh pemilik sebagai sumber informasi atau sebagai alat refleksi ketika mereka mengambil keputusan mengenai usaha perusahaan di masa depan.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah menyebabkan pergeseran bentuk komunikasi antar individu maupun antar kelompok. Komunikasi lisan antar individu dilakukan dengan bantuan teknologi secara daring. Berbagai teknologi konferensi video secara daring banyak dikembangkan, seperti Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, dan lain sebagainya. Dengan penggunaan teknologi tersebut, pengguna dapat saling berinteraksi secara visual dan verbal. Umumnya peserta konferensi video dengan mudah menangkap sinyal verbal dari lawan bicara. Namun untuk menginterpretasikan sinyal visual, peserta memerlukan proses analisis yang lebih kompleks. Makalah ini membahas tentang sistem identifikasi emosi secara otomatis dari peserta konferensi video. Sistem yang dikembangkan dapat diterapkan pada semua jenis teknologi konferensi video, baik versi rekaman maupun versi langsung. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk keperluan umum, seperti dalam rapat kelompok, kuliah, webinar, dan jenis rapat lainnya. Dalam eksperimen yang dilakukan, terdapat empat kelas emosi manusia yang digunakan, yaitu netral, senang, sedih, dan marah. Sistem melakukan deteksi area wajah dalam citra dari video masukan dengan algoritma Viola-Jones, dan melakukan identifikasi emosi pada wajah yang terdeteksi menggunakan metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dengan arsitektur VGG-16. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu secara otomatis melakukan pendeteksian area wajah dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 93.15% dan melakukan identifikasi emosi dengan akurasi sebesar 88.39% untuk data latih dan 70.17% untuk data pengujian. AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused a shift in the form of communication between individuals and between groups. Oral communication between individuals is carried out with the help of online technology. Various online video conferencing technologies have been developed, such as Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, etc. With the use of this technology, users can interact with each other visually and verbally.  Generally, video conference participants can easily receive verbal signals from the speaker. However, a more complex analysis is required to interpret other signals such as visual signals from face, gesture, etc.This paper discusses an automatic emotion identification system of video conferencing participants. The developed system can be applied to all types of video conference technology, both recorded or live versions, The developed application can be used for general purpose, such as in group meetings, lectures, webinars, and other types of meetings. In the experiments, four classes of human emotion are examined, such as neutral, happy, angry, and sad. The system detects facial areas in video frames using the Viola-Jones algorithm and identifies the emotions on the detected faces using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the VGG-16 architecture. The experimental results show that the proposed system is able to automatically detect facial areas with an accuracy of 93.15% and identify emotions from the detected faces with an accuracy of 88.39% for training data and 70.17% for test data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran seni grafis stencil print dengan menggunakan analisis CIPP di Taman Kanak-kanak Sabbihisma 7 Padang dengan menggunakan metode analisis model CIPP. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa TK Sabbihisma 7 Padang telah melaksanakan pembelajaran seni grafis stencil print, pembelajaran dilaksanakan di sentra seni kreativitas, pelaksanakan pembelajaran sangat disenangi oleh anak dapat terlihat dari hasil karya anak dalam pembelajaran di sekolah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil keterampilan anak dalam menggunakan boneka tangan di TK Ancano Desa Kungkai Bangko. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research/AUTO) yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi pada setiap siklusnya. Subyek penelitian ini adalah di TK Ancano Desa Kungkai Bangko yang bertempat tinggal sebanyak 15 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, dan data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Indikator keberhasilannya adalah ?75% dari jumlah siswa yang telah mencapai KKM yang ditentukan yaitu. 70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media boneka tangan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di TK Ancano Desa Kungkai Bangko. Jika belum ada tindakan, evaluasi kemampuan berbicara anak di TK Ancano Desa Kungkai Bangko hanya 4 (26,67%) siswa yang mencapai KKM. Pada kegiatan tindakan siklus I terjadi peningkatan, yaitu sebanyak 10 (74,67%) siswa yang mencapai KKM. Dan pada siklus II sebanyak 13 (86,67%) berhasil mencapai nilai ketuntasan. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dari siklus I dan siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari 66,67 menjadi 86,67.
