Abstract

Carbon emissions disclosure has attracted researchers' attention. This study introduces virtue ethics theory, a new theory in carbon emission research, to explain the moderating role of green performance. Observational data includes 455 data from a sample of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The research data was processed using multiple linear regression methods and moderated regression analysis. The study's results prove that the size of the board of commissioners, the independence of the board of commissioners, the sustainability committee, and institutional ownership positively affect carbon emission disclosure. The green performance also revealed can strengthen the influence of board of commissioners diversity on carbon emission disclosure. Corporate governance is needed to encourage companies to disclose their carbon emissions.

Abstract

Education and Assistance in Non-Pharmacological Therapy for Blood Glucose Control among Patients with Diabetes Mellitus in Sidodadi Village Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease with an increasing prevalence and a high risk of complications due to uncontrolled blood glucose levels. Blood glucose control can be achieved not only through pharmacological treatment but also through non-pharmacological approaches that emphasize education and lifestyle modification. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of patients with diabetes mellitus in controlling blood glucose levels through non-pharmacological therapy. The activity was conducted at the Village Maternity Post (Polindes) of Sidodadi Village, Langsa Lama District, Langsa City, on August 31–September 1, 2025, involving 15 participants diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. The methods included a pretest, interactive health education, simulation and demonstration of non-pharmacological therapies such as diabetic foot exercises, autogenic relaxation, and progressive muscle relaxation, followed by a posttest. Blood glucose level measurements were also performed as part of health screening. The results showed that most participants had blood glucose levels above normal ranges (114–428 mg/dl). Knowledge evaluation demonstrated a substantial improvement, with the proportion of participants in the “good” knowledge category increasing from 33.3% in the pretest to 86.67% in the posttest. Participants showed high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the program. This community service activity contributed to improving health literacy and empowering patients to apply non-pharmacological therapies to support blood glucose reduction and stabilization. The program offers a community-based promotive and preventive model that can be replicated in similar settings

Abstract

This study examines how administrative and patient service digitization influence patient satisfaction and loyalty in hospital settings. It advances digital health literature by demonstrating that hospital digitalization effects on patient outcomes are mediated by usability pathways rather than direct technological deployment, while also revealing the contingent role of digital literacy across service domains. Using a PLS-SEM approach with a sample of 196 patients, the findings indicate that digitalization does not directly enhance satisfaction or loyalty but operates through perceived ease of use, whereas perceived usefulness remains non-influential. Digital literacy strengthens the impact of administrative digitization on satisfaction but weakens the effect of patient service digitization. Satisfaction emerges as the primary driver of patient loyalty. These findings imply that hospital digital transformation strategies should prioritize usability optimization and tailor digital services to patient capability levels.
