Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas iklan diet kantong plastik dengan pendekatan Advertising Response Modelling (ARM). Jenis penelitian berupa penelitian survei. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah survei dengan membagikan kuesioner yang dikembangkan dari penelitian terdahulu. Populasi adalah  para pembeli yang telah melihat iklan diet kantong plastik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden 138 orang. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh antara sikap terhadap iklan dan sikap terhadap isi pesan, pada niat berdiet kantong plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh Sikap terhadap iklan, Sikap terhadap isi pesan pada niat berdiet kantong plastik sebesar 73,6% sedangkan 26,4% variabel niat berdiet kantong plastik dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan sikap antara pria dan wanita dalam berdiet kantong plastik.

Abstract

In the last few years, artificial intelligence-based human activity monitoring system becomes more popular. However, most proposed research focused on adult subject performing the action. Thus, leaving a gap in child activity recognition which causes low dataset availability and reference. Based on this situation, the focus of this study is to reduce the gap in child activity recognition. The proposed system in this study focused on 4 – 6 years old child. The methods used are Human Pose Estimation with BlazePose and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with images dataset gathered from the internet. First, the skeleton will be estimated using BlazePose, the resulting skeleton will be converted to matrix form and given to CNN to be classified. There are 3 activites which can be detected, they are studying, standing, and sleeping. Each activity will be recorded to a logbook with its timestamp when the activity detected. Confusion matrix testing shows that trained model has accuracy value of 97.77%, precision of 97.96%, recall of 97.13%, and F1-score of 97.83%.

Abstract

Mengantuk merupakan sifat alamiah manusia dikarenakan mengantuk menandakan manusia membutuhkan waktu istirahat yang cukup, namun mengantuk pada waktu dan tempat yang tidak tepat sangat dapat menjadi sumber kecelakaan, salah satunya mengantuk pada saat berkendara. Karena itu dirancang sebuah sistem untuk mendeteksi kantuk dengan cara mendeteksi mata manusia dengan model YOLO yang akan diklasifikasi dengan model CNN apakah kedua mata pengguna sedang tertutup atau terbuka, jika kedua mata tertutup maka akan mengeluarkan output berupa alaram yang diharapkan membangunkan pengguna yang terdeteksi mengantuk. Hasil kalkulasi AP terhadap model pendeteksian dengan akurasi sebesar 100% dan hasil pengujian confusion matrix terhadap model klasifikasi memiliki akurasi sebesar 96% pada nilai presisi, 97% pada nilai recall, dan 97% pada F1-Score

Abstract

Blood is a very important fluid in the human body. Blood consists of red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), blood platelets (platelets), and blood plasma. One of the important blood components for the human body is white blood cells, because they play a role in protecting the body from viruses, germs, and bacteria. In addition, by knowing the number of white blood cells in the human body, a person's health condition can be known. One way to count white blood cells is by using a peripheral blood smear. In the preparation of peripheral blood smears, staining will generally be carried out, which can increase the time, cost, and energy required. Technological developments, especially in the field of Computer Vision, are expected to help facilitate this process, so research is carried out in the detection of white blood cells from image preparations. In this study, detection will be carried out using Faster R-CNN method, combined with CLAHE and CIEL*a*b* color space for the pre-processing stage for unstained peripheral blood smear. The results of the tests carried out showed an accuracy rate of 98.61% for the stained peripheral blood smear and 86,67 % for the unstained peripheral blood smear.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the learners’ perspective of perceived needs on the English language course at pesantren - based college that is considered as English for Specific Purposes. The needs are categorized as target needs and learning needs. The subject of the study were 26 students of Islamic Education department and 19 Quranic Sciences department students, as well as the 2 lecturers from each department. The data were collected through two techniques; the survey questionnaires which were addressed to students and interview to the lecturers. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by computing the percentage of the responses. Research findings revealed the target needs by identifying the goal of the English course that is to facilitate learners to communicate in English both spoken and written; while the learning needs by identifying the inputs of practicing the four skills should be both authentic and not authentic in nature as well as should contain subjects related to religious materials and every day used texts. The presented texts should be learnt through various procedures and arranged from guided to free guided tasks.

Abstract

Carbon emissions disclosure has attracted researchers' attention. This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the influence of more comprehensive corporate governance mechanisms on carbon emission disclosure based on legitimacy and stakeholder theories. This study introduces virtue ethics theory, a new theory in carbon emission research, to explain the moderating role of green performance. Observational data includes 455 data from a sample of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The research data was processed using multiple linear regression methods and moderated regression analysis. The study's results prove that the size of the board of commissioners, the independence of the board of commissioners, the sustainability committee, and institutional ownership positively affect carbon emission disclosure. The green performance also revealed can strengthen the influence of board of commissioners diversity on carbon emission disclosure. Corporate governance is needed to encourage companies to disclose their carbon emissions.

Abstract

Sikap altruis  dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan bagi mahasiswa perantau untuk bertahan hidup. Sikap altruis merupakan sikap dan tindakan yang dimunculkan oleh individu secara sukarela untuk membantu dan mensejahterakan orang lain tanpa meminta imbalan apapun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan memberikan informasi gambaran terkait sikap altruis  mahasiswa perantau Kalimantan Utara secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 121 mahasiswa perantau Kalimantan Utara yang sedang menempuh pendidikan S1 di Jawa Timur. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menetapkan fokus penelitian, melakukan kajian pustaka, mengembangkan instrumen penelitian, menghimpun data lapangan, dan analisis data penelitian. Analisis sikap altruis  memuat aspek kerjasama, menolong, berbagi, berderma dan jujur. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap altruis  mahasiswa perantau Kalimantan Utara berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 48.76%. Sikap altruis  mahasiswa perantau perlu ditanamkan dan ditingkatkan, karena dengan ditanamkannya sikap altruis mahasiswa perantau akan lebih menjadi mahasiswa yang peka terhadap kehidupan pribadi maupun sosialnya serta mampu memberikan perasaan kesenangan yang dapat mendorong kesuksesan dan kesejahteraan setelah menanamkan sikap altruis.

Abstract

Seorang ibu yang menjalani masa prenatal merupakan masa yang sangat penting yang perlu diperhatikan dikarenakan pada masa ini perkembangan janin berkembang secara menyeluruh dari semua aspek. Tidak hanya kebutuhan nutrisi yang perlu dijaga akan tetapi aspek psikologis ibu hamil juga perlu diperhatikan. Secara psikologis, aspek ini salah satunya berkaitan dengan emosional yang mana meliputi perasaan sedih, senang, cemas, takut dan lain sebagainya. Begitu pun pada penelitian ini yang memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat emosional seorang ibu hamil dalam memberikan pengaruh pada perkembangan bayi pada masa pascanatal. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi perasaan sedih atau cemas pada ibu hamil maka akan berdampak juga pada aspek emosional yang dialami pada janin yang ada dalam kandungan hingga bayi dilahirkan.

Abstract

Purpose – The objective of this study is to investigate the positive effect of corporate social responsibility disclosure on firm value. It also aims to empirically demonstrate the role of firm size as a moderator on the relationship between corporate social responsibility disclosure and firm value. Design/Methodology/Approach – This research employs a quantitative approach and utilizes secondary data. The selected sample comprised 29 energy sector companies listed on the main board of the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. Hypothesis testing used multiple and moderated linear regression. Findings – The findings of this study successfully confirmed all existing hypotheses. Corporate social responsibility disclosure has a positive effect on firm value. Firm size has been shown to moderate this positive effect. Research limitations/Implications – This research limits its sample to energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2022 period. This research did not consider the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in 2020. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Firm Size, Firm Value, Indonesia
