Abstract

Orang tua adalah guru pertama yang ditemui oleh anak dalam mengenal kehidupan. Bahasa merupakan materi awal yang diperoleh oleh anak untuk berkomunukasi dengan lingkungan terdekatnnya. Pilihan bahasa yang dikenalkan oleh orang tua akan berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Di era digital penggunaan bahasa Jawa semakin memudar, tidak hanya dalam keseharian bahasa tetapi juga dalam lembaga kelembagaan, khususnya lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola asuh berbahasa dan peran keluarga dalam menumbuhkan karakter pada anak usia dini melalui pembiasaan berbahasa Jawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Keluarga menjadi titik sentral dalam proses pengembangan nilai karakter pada anak. Pola asuh menentukan bagaimana perkembangan nilai karakter anak, dan bias terpantau melalui kebiasaan penggunaan bahasa Jawa dalam pergaulan sehari-hari, baik bahasa Jawa ngoko atau bahasa Jawa krama. Orang tua memberikan rangsangan kepada anak untuk mengasah kebiasaan menggunakan bahasa Jawa dalam pergaulan sehari-hari. Praktik pengasuhan yang efektif dalam pembentukan nilai karakter pada anak adalah pola asuh yang demokratis, yakni orang tua tidak hanya memberikan fasilitas kepada anak, akan tetapi tetap memantau dan mengawasi anak.

Abstract

Enrichment books are one type of book that supports teaching materials in schools. There have been many models of enrichment books compiled in Indonesia for various topics and learning needs. However, there is no research that systematically reviews the existence and development of enrichment books in Indonesia. A systematic review is needed to find a map of the distribution of enrichment books, especially on thematic, concept, and modeling aspects. This study examine the development of enrichment books in Indonesia in the treasury of scientific publications in Indonesia. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Scientific publications are important indicators for the development of enrichment books that have received wide scientific appreciation. The more and more diverse scope of the study can be an indicator of developments in Indonesia. Because large scientific publications indicate that enrichment books in Indonesia are sufficient and very worthy to be researched, studied and published scientifically. The study was limited to finding categories based on Indonesian and non-Indonesian subjects; based on targets for primary, secondary and tertiary education; by types of fiction and nonfiction, as well as other categories. The results of this study provide an important contribution to scientific development in the field of SLR studies and research on the development of enrichment books in Indonesia. In addition, the study can also be used by the government to take book policies, as well as teachers and lecturers to develop enrichment books with similar topics but different models and different topics.

Abstract

Critical reading is a very necessary competency in the millennial era. Readers are required to think and reason critically to selectively accept the information obtained. Therefore, as a reader, you must be able to filter information that is in accordance with the characteristics of the Indonesian people based on Pancasila. This is in accordance with the demands of future learning to make Pancasila students. Critical reading strands humanist literacy, one way that can be done to form a profile of Pancasila students. Humanist literacy is an activity that aims to communicate and collaborate on human attitudes. The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of critical reading learning materials that link humanist literacy as a future learning direction. The data of this research are in the form of questionnaires and interview results from 16 lecturers spread across four major universities in Riau. The method of data collection was done through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out reflectively with the help of TagCrowd and AntConc. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the characteristics of the desired critical reading learning material include, (1) the material is oriented towards humanist literacy activities, (2) uses the Malay Teaching Text, (3) is oriented to the attitude and behavior approach (psychodidactic), (4) presents the critical reading content of the Tunjuk Ajar Melayu text links humanist literacy, (5) has material that is in accordance with the characteristics of Malay culture.

Abstract

The spoken language variety of Lambitu community, Sambori village, represents the bilinguality and multilinguality of the community. This research aims to analyze the defense realization of Inge Ndai language within the family context of Lambitu community. This qualitative research collected the data with listening method. Then, the researcher continued it with non-participant observer. The researcher recorded and noted the conversation. The data analysis used match method. The results showed that the language defense in family of Lambitu community, Sambori village were: (1) single Inge Ndai language, (2) code switching, and (3) code mixing

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the formula for the expression and content of glosematic rhetoric of linguistic discourse of high school students and the factors behind the expression and content of rhetoric. This research is qualitative descriptive research and the object of research is student discourse Senior High School. The data of this study are fragments of the linguistic discourse of students in grades X, XI, and XII in Indonesian subjects in terms of the construction of glossary rhetoric, while the data sources are linguistic texts in the form of expositions, arguments, explanations, editorials, and articles. Data collection is done by listening techniques and advanced techniques in the form of note-taking techniques. The results of this study are the formulas of glosematic rhetorical expressions of linguistic discourse for high school students in the form of processibility principles, principles of clarity, economic principles, expressivity principles, appreciative principles, ethos logos, pathos, forensic rhetoric, experiential values, relational, expressive, dynamic modalities, intentional, epistemic. , and deontic. The formula for the content of the glossary rhetoric found is in the form of exposition and argumentation to inform. Expression and content in essay discourse are influenced by linguistic factors 88.6% and non-linguistic factors 45.7%. The linguistic factor is influenced by morphology 74.3% and syntax 68.6%. Morphological factors occur because of the affixing process 74.3%, compounding 71.4%, and repetition 51.4% while the syntactic factor occurs due to the use of active sentences 68.6%, complex sentences 57.1%, simplex sentences 48.6%, and passive voice 42.9%. Non-language factors are influenced by time 65.7%, environment 62.9%, social 42.9%, place 40%, and connotation 28.6%. 4% while the syntactic factor occurs because of the use of active sentences 68.6%, complex sentences 57.1%, simplex sentences 48.6%, and passive sentences 42.9%. Abstract

Serat Wedhatama is a literary work of the XVIII century which is said to contain work values, life values, and leadership teachings. Meanwhile, in this era of rapid change, transformational leadership is needed. This is the background of this research. This study aims to describe the dimensions of transformational leadership in Serat Wedhatama. The issue raised is how the existence of the transformational leadership dimension in Serat Wedhatama is. The method used in this research is descriptive method of documentary analysis. The data analysis technique was carried out by content analysis, which was to compare the leadership dimensions of the transformational perspective of Bass and Avolio with the substance of the leadership values ​​in Serat Wedhatama. Through an in-depth study, it was found that in Serat Wedhatama found 263 dimensions of transformational leadership, consisting of 65 (25%) dimensions of idealization of influence, 96 (37%) dimensions of inspirational motivation, 52 (20%) dimensions of intellectual stimulation, and 50 (19%) ) dimension of personal considerations. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the dimensions of transformational leadership were found in Serat Wedhatama. Thus, the leadership teachings of Serat Wedhatama are still relevant and can be empowered to prepare leaders who are in accordance with the demands of a rapidly changing era.

Abstract

This qualitative study aims to reveal the language dynamics of PMD (People with Mental Disorders), discover odd linguistic patterns, and introduce humanist designed instruments for developing PMD’s communication skills in the landscape of Inclusive Society 5.0. The ethnographic approach focused on 12 PMDs who had psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. Distortion on recognition of communication components, repetitive production of Out of Context Speech, the offensive-aggressive Speech, and activation of emotional extralinguistic features are the major findings in this research. The curative system called “TCA : The Communication Arrow” is a prototype that was introduced as an assitive instrument for PMD to engage in inclusive society.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers (BIPA) has various objectives, one of them is BIPA learning for business communication purposes. For this reason, it is needed the special teaching materials for BIPA learners for business communication purposes. This research is to find out how the characteristics of BIPA teaching materials for business communication purposes. The method of the research is using qualitative method. The subject of the research is BIPA learners for business communication purposes which have 10 learners from various countries and different work backgrounds. The data of the research is in the form of questionnaire results of BIPA teaching materials needs for business communication purposes filled by BIPA learners for business communication purposes. The conclusion of the research results that the characteristics of BIPA teaching materials for business communication purposes as follows, (1) Characteristics of BIPA teaching materials for business communication purposes must be oriented to the needs of BIPA learners for business communication purposes, (2) contain business / work content, oriented to the ability of learners, (3) contain material as a whole which is arranged in an organized manner, (4) contain audio visuals, and (3) an easily accessible application.

Abstract

Banyumas folklore is a cultural heritage which contains the values, norms and understanding of the local community. However, the role of women in folklore is often trapped in gender stereotypes and subordination which limit their potential. Through the use of feminist theory and a critical approach, this article discusses the importance of criticizing the representation of women in Banyumas folklore and how literary education can be a medium to build awareness of gender equality. This article has two objectives: (1) to examine the role of women in Banyumas folklore and (2) how their representation can be reconstructed in literary education with gender perspective. A qualitative approach was carried out with the artifacts of the Banyumas folklore which becomes the important data in this study. This article has two important points. First, exploring the role of women in Banyumas folklore involving women characters and identifying their depictions. This role can be seen from a domestic and public perspective which has implications for the active and passive roles of women figures. Second, reconstructing the role of women in Banyumas folklore to make it more inclusive and promote gender equality. There are four reconstruction strategies: (1) strengthening the role of women characters, (2) changing the central point of perspective of women characters, (3) changing gender stereotypes in the substance of the story, and (4) using gender-inclusive language. In addition, this research also contributes to the construction of a gender perspective literary education strategy that can expand the role and contribution of women in Banyumas folklore.

Abstract

Critical literacy in learning to write information crucial awareness growth for students to find important information based on the terms contained in the text. Facts on the ground show that learning to report information on fiction and nonfiction books has not yet reached a critical level. Therefore, on this occasion, the research aims to determine the need for digital teaching materials for writing information on fiction and nonfiction books based on critical literacy. This study used 30 students as a sample. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of research conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Kesugihan, get the fact that during this need for digital teaching materials, writing information on fiction and nonfiction books based on critical literacy is a solution to the lack of digital teaching materials for reporting information on fiction and nonfiction books at Kesugihan 1 Middle School. This research has implications for improving the potential shortage of teaching materials by realizing the importance of technology for education, especially writing material for critical fiction and nonfiction books.
