Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of the application of whole language approach of guided reading component of poetry reading skill of grade V students of State Elementary School 14 Pontianak Selatan. The research method used is the experimental method, while the research form used is the sample population. Data collection techniques used in this study is a measurement technique with the scoring of students' poetry reading skills. Based on result of data analysis from mean value of result of pre-test 50 and average post-test 68,517. The result of t test obtained t table on the significant level α = 5% is 2.086. Because t count (16,405) > t table (2,042), then hypothesis testing of post-test data is accepted if t count > t table then alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained by 0.143 Learning by applying the whole language approach of guided reading component gives a big influence to the poetry reading skill of grade V students of State Elementary School 14 Pontianak Soulth. Keywords: Influence, Whole Language Approach Guided Reading Components, Poetry     Reading Skills

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research is to know the integration of Three character (discipline, creative, and responsible) through Paikem in Elementary School Pontianak West Accredited A in terms of planning, realization, and evaluation of learning. The research was conducted in Elementary School 71 Pontianak West and in Elementary School Pontianak West. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research is the head of school, teachers, and learners. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through phases: data reduction, display data, and with drawal as conclusion. Techniques examination of the data validity using triangulation. The result shows that Three character (discipline, creative, and responsible) through Paikem integrated in planning, implementation and evaluation of the learning already running well. Planning learning characterized by entering the element Paikem and designing lesson. The lesson character already done by applying Learning, Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, dan fun (PAIKEM) conducted through exemplary teachers and done every day by all citizens of the school. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the enhancement Student Learning Result by using Cooperative Model techniques exchange of pairs in Social Studies learning Class V SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. The method used is a descriptive method with class action research (CAR) and is collaborative. Data collection techniques used is the direct observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is to use an average calculation formula (Mean). This research was conducted in 3 cycles with the results 1) the average ability of teachers to plan learning, namely as follows, in cycle 1 was 3.15, in cycle II was 3.70, in cycle III was 3.91. 2) the average ability of teachers to carry out learning, namely as follows, in the cycle I was 2.41, in the cycle II was 3.49, in the cycle III was 3.71. 3) the average students learning outcomes are as follows, in the cycle I was 71.18, in the cycle II was 80 and in the cycle III was 90.78. Abstract

AbstractThis research is to improve students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method of State Elementary School 02 Betung River, Bengkayang Regency. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of one meeting with a time allocation of 3 x 35 minutes. The results of the teacher's ability to plan lessons from cycle I with an average score of 3.48 to 3.70 in cycle II to 3.81 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. The result of teacher ability in conducting learning from the average value of cycle I 3.41 to 3.66 in cycle II, to 3.87 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. Improving students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method is evidenced by the average achievement of students in the first cycle of 77.77, in the second cycle of 82.14 and in the third cycle of 84.52. Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that the demonstration method can be used to improve the speaking ability of grade V students of Secondary School 02 Sungai Betung, Bengkayang Regency. Keywords: Speaking skills, Demonstration methods

Abstract

AbstractThe problems of this research were focused on the planning, implementation and obstacles of applying scientific approach on thematic spider web learning model, aiming at making learners more active, critical thinking, the direct process experienced by the learners, the learning could be more meaningful, contekstual and fun. This research was conducted at  Public Primary School (SDN) 07 and  Public Primary School (SDN) 36 at Sungai Ambawang District. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were the educators and the students of grade IV at SDN 07  and SDN 36 of Sungai Ambawang District. The techniques of data collection used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis was conducted through the steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The technique for examining data validity was by triangulation. The results revealed that the educators have implemented the scientific approach on the thematic spider web learning model. The scientific approach implemented, includes: (1) observing, (2) questioning, (3) trying, (4) reasoning, and (5) communicating. The obstacles encountered in this lesson were lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the ability of their educators in mastering the learning strategy, and the low level  participation of some parents who were less concerned on their children education and also the different characteristics of  the learners. Keywords: scientific approach, thematic spider web learning model

Abstract

The Research about The Influence of Mind Map Learning System for Social Studies Learn Acquisition of the students in Fifth Grade of Elementary School 11 in Pontianak aims to describe weather there is a significant influence between Mind Map learning system and social studies learn acquisition of the students in fifth grade of elementary school 11 in Pontianak. This research used an experiment method. The experiment form was quasi exsperimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design type. The mean of the pretest result before the Mind Map learning system applied was 37,39 and the posttest result mean was 72,18. The data analysis result with ttest obtained ttable 9,33 with the ttest ? ttable or 9,33 ? 2,0273 means significant. It means there is a significant influence between Mind Map learning system and social studies learn acquisition of the students in fifth grade of elementary school 11 in Pontianak. Abstrak: Penelitian tentang Pengaruh Sistem Pembelajaran Mind Map terhadap Pemerolehan Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V di SDN 11 Pontianak Kota bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sistem pembelajaran Mind Map terhadap pemerolehan belajar IPS siswa kelas V di SDN 11 Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi exsperimental design dengan jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebelum diterapkannya sistem pembelajaran Mind Map adalah 37,39 dan rata-rata posttest siswa adalah 72,18. Hasil analisis data dengan uji t diperoleh ttabel 9,33 dengan hasil thitung ? ttabel atau 9,33 ? 2,0273 berarti signifikan. Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sistem pembelajaran Mind Map terhadap pemerolehan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Kota. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the correlation between discipline, independence, educational interaction, and interest in learning with learning outcomes; the relationship together with learning outcomes; and the percentage of combined contributions to mathematics learning outcomes. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach implemented in class III SD Negeri 07 Pontianak Utara. The number of samples were 84 children. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Determination of the correlation between the four variables namely discipline, independence, educational interaction, and interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes using simple correlation (r) and the correlation together using the multiple correlation (R) Doo Little technique. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between predictor variables and criterion variables obtained r1y of 0.409, r2y of 0.436, r3y of 0.366, r4y of 0.499, and a joint relationship between predictor variables and learning outcomes obtained R of 0.597 with the largest contribution namely the variable interest in learning by 18%, followed by discipline 11%, independent 5%, educational interaction 1%, and a combined contribution of 36%.Keywords: Discipline, Independence, Educative Interaction, Interest In Learning, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of study is for describe use of contexstual learning modeling  components that  could improve skills reading student poetry in the class III SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan. This research  use approach qualitatif, method that  used descriptive with  form research action class and  is collaborative. The research held in SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan, class III that numbered 29 students with subject research teacher and students class III. Technique collectors  data that used that is technique observation, technique interview and technique scrutiny document with tool collectors data that is guidelines interview, sheet instrument assessment ability teacher plan learning, sheet instrument assesment ability teacher doing learning, and document results read students. Assesment ability teacher designing learning  form cycle I 3,34 categorized good and increased on cycle II 3,73 categorized very well increased 0,39 from cycle I. Assesment ability teacher doing learning from cycle I 3,11categorized good and increased Incycle II 3,63 categorized very good increased 0,52 from cycle I. Assessmet results read poetry students from cycle I 71,26% and increased on cycle II 79,31% increased 8,05 % form cycle I. Based on data that obtained could concluded  that happen enhancement on every cycle. With thereby, research use learning contextual component modeling on learning read poetry class III SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan could improve skills students read poetry. Abstract

Pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournaments terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 12 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk quasi exsperimental design. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 7,28 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 8,36 diperoleh thitung 12,222 dan ttabel (? = 5 % dan dk = 44) sebesar 2,011, yang berarti thitung > ttabel (12,222 > 2,011), maka dapat dikatakan Ha diterima sedangkan Ho ditolak. Dari perhitungan effect size sebesar 0,5 (kriteria sedang), dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 12 Pontianak Selatan. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif tipe TGT, IPS Abstract: The effect of the use of cooperative learning model type teams games tournaments on student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze whether the use of cooperative learning model types Teams Games Tournaments IPS learning can improve student learning outcomes SDN 12 grade III South Pontianak. The method used in this research is a form of quasi-experimental method exsperimental design. Based on data analysis, the average post-test control class 7.28 and the average post-test experimental class tcount 8.36 earned 12.222 and TTable (? = 5% and df = 44) of 2.011, which means thitung> TTable (12.222> 2.011), it can be said Ha received while Ho is rejected. From the calculation of effect size of 0.5 (moderate criterion), the use of cooperative learning model types Teams Games Tournaments influence is on student learning outcomes in teaching social studies in grade III SDN 12 South Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to fird of out the influence of using TPS toward the outcome of IPS learning on class V SDN 23 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. The method used is experimental study. With pre experimental design, with kind of experimental one grup pretest-posttest design. The technique of data collecting used is test in from of multiple choice which consist of 50 items. The result of the research is the average score of pretest 54,33, while the average score of post-test 67,20, t-test price tcount compared ttable with dk= 24-1=23 and the significance level (α) 0,01 the price of ttable=2,81. Tcount ≥ ttable or 3,71  ≥ 2,81 means significant, it conclude that Ho is rejected, whereas Ha is accepted. It can be conclude that there is an influence of  using TPS type of cooperative model toward the outcome of IPS learning on class V SDN 23 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya, that is about 0,78 with the medium category. Keywords: Influence, TPS, Learning Outcomes
