Abstract

The phenomenon of conflict resistance between teachers and educational supervisors has been increasingly prevalent lately, manifesting as feelings of low self-confidence and apprehension among teachers when a supervisor or school monitor is about to conduct supervision. The relationship between teachers and educational supervisors should ideally be harmonious in the pursuit of national educational goals. This research seeks to explore the urgency, steps, and implementation models of artistic supervision in efforts to enhance teacher performance. Research data were gathered through observations of academic supervision activities, interviews with supervisors and teachers, document analyses on educational supervision, and the mechanism of implementing educational supervision using an artistic approach. The research findings indicate that the implementation of artistic supervision is a crucial approach in improving teacher performance, alongside the necessary steps and models of artistic supervision implementation. The study concludes that the urgency of artistic supervision must be recognized to break the hereditary culture of teachers' misconceptions about supervisors and the inaccuracies in the supervisors' approach. Awareness of this needs to be continually cultivated by each party, fostering positive reinforcement and a humanistic educational supervision model between the supervisor and supervisee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the transformational leadership of the madrasah principal in the development of Madrasah Adiwiyata. This study uses a qualitative approach of the case study type through a multi-site approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use an interactive model consisting of four stages: data collection, data presentation, data condensation, and concluding. The study results indicate that The 4 "I's" of Transformational Leadership are refined into Pancatransformational by adding elements of Idealized Religious Influence. Pancatransformational in madrasah leadership includes Religious Influence, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration with leadership principles based on wasathiyah/moderate religious values that can realize the development of a more holistic Adiwiyata school program. The implications of this study indicate that the concept of Pancatransformational, with elements of Idealized Religious Influence, strengthens the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in madrasahs. Based on wasathiyah/moderate values, this leadership integrates religious values in environmental conservation efforts. It motivates the entire school community to participate actively, creating an inclusive and sustainable school culture.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the management of integrating the National Curriculum and the Cambridge Curriculum to improve the quality of education in schools. The study employs a qualitative research methodology, utilizing a combination of structured interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The analytical framework is based on the interactive and continuous approach proposed by Miles and Huberman, which emphasizes data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the findings. The results of the study indicate that successful integration of the two curricula hinges on several critical factors, including the alignment of educational objectives, the professional development of educators, and the availability of adequate resources and infrastructure. The research highlights that educators must possess a deep understanding of both curricula to effectively implement an integrated approach that meets the diverse needs of students. Furthermore, the findings suggest that fostering a collaborative environment among teachers is essential for sharing best practices and enhancing pedagogical strategies. Additionally, the study reveals that the integration process not only enhances the educational experience for students but also significantly improves their competitiveness in both national and international contexts. The research underscores the importance of continuous evaluation and adaptation of the integration strategies to respond to the dynamic nature of educational demands.

Abstract

Quality Control (QC) challenges in the textile industry increasingly require data-driven and real-time solutions to reduce critical production defects. This research aims to develop a hybrid Pareto-Fishbone analysis integrated with an IoT-based monitoring framework to reduce the incidence of dominant defects in Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) yarns (X-stitch and Broken Filament). Defect data collected in 2024 (n=2,396) and early 2025 (n=1,177) were analyzed using Pareto charts, which identified X-stitch (40.15%) and Broken Filament (37.15%) as contributing 77.3% of total defects in 2024. Fishbone diagrams traced root causes to machine vibration and yarn tension anomalies. An IoT prototype was designed using ADXL345 vibration sensors (200 Hz sampling), tension monitoring, and MQTT communication to a Node-RED dashboard to enable real-time alerts. Preliminary testing achieved 95% MQTT transmission success and detected vibration anomalies correlating with 85% of X-stitch incidents. The proposed hybrid framework combines the diagnostic strength of Pareto–Fishbone analysis with the preventive capability of IoT monitoring, offering a scalable Industry 4.0-oriented solution for textile QC and predictive maintenance.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamics of integrating Islamic Family Law (Fiqh al-Usrah) into Muslim community education within minority contexts in contemporary Japan. Positioned in the interdisciplinary intersection of Islamic Education Studies and Islamic Legal Studies, it explores how legal and ethical principles of Islamic family life are transmitted amid public misconceptions of Islam, linguistic and cultural barriers, and differing levels of individual religious commitment. Using a socio-legal qualitative design with thematic analytical techniques, the research draws on primary data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of Muslim community activities, complemented by secondary scholarly  sources. Fieldwork was conducted in Tokyo and Ibaraki between July and August 2024, involving Japanese converts, migrant Muslim families, and mosque administrators. Thematic analysis reveals two dominant patterns: first, families who experience positive religious transformation through strong community engagement; and second, those whose Islamic identity weakens due to secular environments and cultural pressures. The integration process is supported by individual agency, the active role of mosques and Muslim organizations, and culturally embedded religious expression, including arts-based initiatives. Conversely, limited access to formal Islamic education and the socio-cultural  dominance of the non-Muslim majority remain persistent challenges. This study contributes to scholarly discourse on the contextual integration of Islamic law and education in minority contexts. It underscores the importance of systematic, community-based strategies to strengthen Islamic family identity and enhance Muslim minorities' constructive participation in Japanese society.
