Abstract

The hospital is one of the health service facilities that play a very important role in providing health services to the community. To increase patient satisfaction in the hospital, it is necessary to evaluate the quality of existing health services both from a technical and administrative perspective. This study aims to describe inpatient satisfaction with the attributes of the health services quality dimension in hospitals in Indonesia. This study used secondary data with a cross-sectional design based on Risnakes data in 2017. The sample used is samples of Risnakes in hospitals in 2017 after deducting missing data, namely 7,287 inpatients from 380 hospitals in Indonesia. Data analysis used univariate analysis. Results of this study showed that the level of inpatient satisfaction to the attribute of health service quality dimensions in private hospitals was better than in government hospitals. In the tangible dimension of the various attributes studied, there are 5 attributes still below the standard of patient satisfaction (90%), while for the reliability dimension there are 2 attributes, the responsiveness dimension 5 attributes, the assurance dimension 2 attributes, and empathy dimensions 3 attributes. To improve the quality of health services, the management of all hospitals in Indonesia needs to routinely evaluate all of the attributes of health service quality dimensions in the hospital.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kader mempunyai tugas untuk mengelola pelaksanaan posyandu mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pasca pelaksanaan posyandu. Bila kinerja kader kurang maka pelaksanaan posyandu juga akan menjadi tidak lancar dan dapat mengakibatkan status gizi Balita tidak dapat dideteksi secara dini dengan jelas. Kader sangat penting dalam posyandu karena merupakan ujung tombak pelaksanaan posyandu. adanya ketidaksesuaian capaian dan target posyandu merupakan masalah kesehatan yang penting. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang bagaimana hubungan karateristik individu, sikap dan pengetahuan terhadap kinerja kader Posyandu yang berada diwilayah kerja Puskesmas di Kota Palembang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan dilakukan secara acak dan sampel diambil berdasarkan proporsi dari populasi penelitian untuk masing- masing kelompok karateristik, besar sampel sebanyak 180 sampel. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 2 jenis yaitu analis univariat untuk mendeskripsikan setiap variabel dan analisis bivariat untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Hasil: Hasil yang diperoleh, terdapat hubungan yang bermakna/ signifikan antara lama menjadi kader dengan kinerja kader Posyandu di Kota Palembang. Saran: Penambahan frekuensi pelatihan dan pembinaan kader Posyandu agar pengetahuan dan sikap kader Posyandu dapat meningkat melalui refreshing kader Posyandu serta materi pelatihan lebih banyak tentang penimbangan dan  pengisian KMS. Kata Kunci:Posyandu, Kinerja, Kader

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Akreditasi pada fasilitas primer sudah dilakukan di berbagai negara termasuk di Indonesia. Tenaga kesehatan merupakan pemberi layanan kesehatan yang terlibat langsung dalam proses akreditasi. Berkenaan dengan hal tersebut, tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas belum merasakan dampak akreditasi Puskesmas terhadap kualitas pelayanan. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis persepsi tenaga kesehatan tentang hubungan akreditasi dengan kualitas pelayanan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional menggunakan data primer dengan sampel berjumlah 317 orang tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas wilayah Kota Palembang, dilakukan pada bulan Februari s.d April 2020. Pemilihan responden berdasarkan simple random sampling.  Analisa data yg digunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat dengan uji statistik Chi Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara kepemimpian p-value < 0,001; perencanaan strategis p-value < 0,001; fokus sumber daya manusia p-value < 0,001; fokus pelanggan p-value < 0,001, proses manajemen p-value < 0,001; keterlibatan staff p-value < 0,001; manfaat akreditasi p-value < 0,001 dengan kualitas pelayanan. Sedangkan status akreditasi tidak berhubungan dengan kualitas pelayanan p-value 0,145. Saran: Puskesmas perlu menerapkan standar akreditasi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Tenaga kesehatan perlu menjaga kualitas dengan melaksanakan pelayanan sesuai standar yang telah ditetapkan sebagai bentuk dari peningkatan kualitas berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Akreditasi, Kualitas Pelayanan, Malcolm Baldrige

Abstract

Health human resources have a major impact in increasing the competitiveness of health services. The performance of health workers is a consequene of the needs and demands of society to obtain high quality health services. This research aims to determine the factors related to the performance of health workers. This type of research is a systematic review which is carried out by collecting and accumulating research related to factors related to the performance of health workers. The keywords used for literature searches; "performance of health workers" and "performance of health workers". The literature sources used in the research come from online databases, namely Google Scholar and PubMed, and Elsevier. Abstract

Introduction: Anemia in adolescent girls is a public health problem that requires serious attention. One recommended intervention is the regular administration of iron-fortified iron tablets (IBF). Objective: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the TTD distribution program in Indonesia. Methods: The research method uses a systematic review using the PRISMA guidelines. After deduplication and screening, 10 articles met the inclusion criteria for analysis. Results and Discussion: Health education, cadre empowerment, and school environmental support have been shown to be effective in improving knowledge, attitudes, and some adherence to iron supplement consumption among adolescent girls. Barriers in urban areas include low adherence due to perceived side effects and unsupportive dietary patterns, while in rural areas, the main obstacles are limited access to distribution and healthcare resources. Conclusion: Program success is influenced by communication, resources, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Therefore, intervention strategies must be tailored to regional characteristics to maximize the effectiveness of anemia prevention in adolescent girls in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: The skin is the largest external organ of the human body that covers all surfaces of the body. The low level of personal hygiene and lack of attention to the use of clean water for fish traders make it easy for fish traders to get diseases, namely water-borne diseases, one of which is skin disease and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with complaints of contact dermatitis among fish traders at the Toss 3000 Traditional Market, Batam City in 2021. This type of research uses an analytic survey, with a cross-sectional study design, this study was conducted to determine the factors of contact dermatitis complaints in fish traders based on the availability of clean water by measuring water pH and personal hygiene. The sample in this study were fish traders in the traditional market toss 3000 Batam City with a total of 62 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was Total Sampling and statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results of the Chi Square test analysis showed that there was a relationship between water pH, Clean Water Availability, and Personal Hygiene on fish traders at Toss 3000 Traditional Market Batam City (p-value <0.05). The description of the availability of clean water for fish traders at the Toss 3000 Traditional Market, Batam City in 2021, namely 13 samples (21%) available clean water and 49 samples (79%). There is a relationship between the availability of clean water and complaints of contact dermatitis among fish traders at the Toss 3000 Traditional Market, Batam City in 2021 with a P value of 0.050 <0.05. For traders, pay attention to the availability of clean water in their respective kiosks, by distinguishing between clean water for personal use and fish cleaning purposes. Abstract

The complexity of sexuality and sexual trauma experiences, including harassment, unwanted touching, sexual urges, and forced sexual intercourse, should not be underestimated because of the tendency to initiate adverse psychosocial impacts. Sexual harassment can increase mental health risks, which may influence sexual orientation decisions. This quantitative study, using a cross-sectional design, aimed to determine a relationship between sexual trauma experiences and sexual orientation in men who have sex with men (MSM). This study population was MSM living in Palembang and Prabumulih City, with a sample size of 216 respondents. The proportion of respondents with homosexual orientation was 57.1%, and the proportion having sexual trauma experiences was 42.3%. The multiple logistic regression identified a significant relationship between sexual trauma experiences and sexual orientation in MSM with a pvalue of 0.02, an adjusted odds ratio of 2.71, and a 95% CI of 1.17-6.26. These results suggested a higher risk of a different sexual orientation among traumatized MSM compared to MSM without one after controlling access to pornographic content and correcting parenting patterns. Sexual trauma has been shown to affect individual sexual orientation; therefore, special attention is needed due to the impact on future life behavior.

Abstract

Kunjungan pasien Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (Jamsoskes) di puskesmas pembina selama tahun 2009 adalah 24.014 orang. Kunjungan per catur wulan memperlihatkan trend yang menurun. Jumlah pengunjung puskesmas pembina pada periode bulan Januari – April 2009 adalah 9.295 orang, pada Mei – Agustus 2009 adalah 8.162 orang, dan September – Desember 2009 adalah 6.557 orang. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh minat masyarakat yang rendah untuk menggunakan Jamsoskes. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan kajian kualitas pelayanan Jamsoskes menurut perspektif pasien. Penelitian dengan desain cross sectional ini menggunakan data primer yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara terstruktur atau survei. Sampel terdiri dari 100 pasien Jamsoskes yang mendapat pelayanan di puskesmas pembina dengan metode analisis kesesuaian kinerja (importance-performance analysis/IPA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian antara kinerja dan harapan pasien pada pelayanan Jamsoskes di puskesmas pembina adalah 83,44%. Terdapat dua atribut pada dimensi kualitas pelayanan yang masih perlu ditingkatkan meliputi pemberian perhatian oleh dokter terhadap keluhan-keluhan pasien tentang penyakit serta kenyamanan dan kerapian ruang pengobatan di poli umum. Peran dokter sebagai fasilitator kesembuhan pasien perlu ditingkatkan melalui sikap empati atas berbagai keluhan penyakit pasien serta mempertimbangkan penataan ulang ruangan pelayanan untuk kenyamanan pasien. The sum of social health assurance (Jamsoskes) patients in puskesmas pembina during 2009 was 24.014 people. There was a decrease in per quarter visits. The sum of patients visit in January to April 2009 was 9.295 people, May to August 2009 was 8.162 people, and September to December 2009 was 6.557 people. This can be caused by the low interest of community to utilize Jamsoskes service. Thus, it should be reviewed 105 about the quality of Jamsoskes service according to the patients’ perspective. This research was quantitative survey. The sample was 100 patients of Jamsoskes at puskesmas pembina. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire and analyzed by the importance-performance analysis. The average of balance level between service performance and expectation of patients was 83,44%. There were two attributes in the dimensions of service quality that need to be increased: the phycisian attention to the patients complaints about their diseases and convenience and neatness of the treatment room at the general polyclinic. The role of physician as a facilitator of healing to the patient needs to be improved through the attitude of empathy on patient complaints.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mencapai visi dan misi, setiap rumah sakit harus menjalankan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik (Good Corporate Governance/GCG). Penerapan GCG sendiri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara optimal, yang akhirnya akan meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan penerapan prinsip-prinsip GCG terhadap kinerja pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) Rumah Sakit Umum Lapangan Natuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan desain potong lintang pada 56 PNS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tahun 2012 dengan kuesioner terstruktur. Digunakan analisis dengan uji kai kuadrat dan regresi logistik, dan untuk penyederhanaan model dilakukan eliminasi terhadap faktor perancu dengan menggunakan metode backward stepwise. Penelitian ini menemukan dua variabel yang signifikan berhubungan dengan kinerja PNS, yaitu penerapan prinsip fairness dan penerapan prinsip transparancy. Keduanya merupakan variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan kinerja pegawai negeri sipil. In order to achieve the vision and mission, every hospital must implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Its implementation aims to optimally improve performance of employees that will finally improve organizational performance. This study aimed to analyze the relation between principles of GCG and performance of civil servants of the Natuna Field Hospital in Anambas Islands District. This analytical descriptive study using cross sectional design involved 56 civil servants as samples. Data was collected in 2012 using a structured questionnaire. This study used chi square and logistic regression tests. Multivariate model was simplified by eliminating the confounding variables using backward stepwise method. This study found two variables significantly related to performance of civil servants, namely implementation of fairness and transperancy principles. Both were the most related variables to the performance of civil servants.

Abstract

Remuneration can influence worker`s motivation, and improve their performance. Likewise in hospital as capital-intensive, human resources-intensive as well as knowledge and technology-intensive health care institution. This study aimed to analyze employee’s perception of remuneration system implementation and adult cardiac surgery services unit’s performance at hospital. This study used a mixed method approach (quantitative and qualitative). Quantitative study design was cross-sectional using questionnaire for self-assesment. Meanwhile, qualitative study design was descriptive conducted through focus group discussion and document review on data in forms of schedule book, registration book, nursing notes and medical records. Data collection was conducted in 2013 at one hospital in Jakarta. Respondents/informants were functional medical staff, nurses, and administration staff amounted to 29 people. Data was analyzed using univariate and content analysis techniques. Results showed most functional medical staff dan nurse were unsatisfied (71.2%) with several things in remuneration system implementation, such as in payroll system and grading determination. However, adult cardiac surgery services unit’s performance is increasing every year before and after the implementation of remuneration system. This hospital is expected to improve the remuneration system in accordance with policy and arrange incentive formulation that is more appropriate with current condition as well as followed with proper socialization and periodical evaluation. Remunerasi dapat memengaruhi motivasi pegawai sekaligus meningkatkan kinerjanya. Demikian halnya di rumah sakit sebagai institusi pelayanan kesehatan yang padat modal, sumber daya manusia serta padat ilmu dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi pegawai terhadap implementasi sistem remunerasi dan kinerja unit pelayanan bedah jantung dewasa (UPBJD) di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Desain penelitian kuantitatif adalah potong lintang menggunakan instrumen kuesioner self-assessment. Sedangkan desain penelitian kualitatif adalah deskriptif, dilakukan melalui focus group discussion dan telaah dokumen pada data berupa buku jadwal, buku registrasi, catatan keperawatan, dan rekam medis. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tahun 2013 di salah satu rumah sakit di Jakarta. Responden/informan adalah staf medis fungsional, perawat, dan petugas administrasi berjumlah 29 orang. Data dianalisis secara univariat (metode kuantitatif), dan content analysis (metode kualitatif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar staf medis fungsional dan perawat tidak puas (71,2%) dengan beberapa hal dalam penerapan sistem remunerasi, seperti pada sistem penggajian dan penentuan grading. Terlihat kinerja unit pelayanan bedah jantung dewasa mengalami kenaikan setiap tahun sebelum dan setelah penerapan sistem remunerasi. Diharapkan agar rumah sakit ini dapat memperbaiki sistem remunerasi yang sesuai ketentuan kebijakan dan menyusun formulasi insentif dan bonus yang lebih sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini serta perlu dilakukan sosialisasi yang tepat dan evaluasi secara berkala.
