Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital literacy on the critical thinking skills of MPLB students at SMK Negeri 42 Jakarta. The study was conducted using a quantitative method with a Likert scale questionnaire. The sample was selected using proportional sampling with a population of 144 students and a sample of 106 students. Data management and analysis were conducted using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 software application, employing multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the data analysis indicate that: (1) the use of artificial intelligence (AI) has an effect on critical thinking skills with a significance level of 0.004 < 0.05; (2) digital literacy influences critical thinking ability with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; (3) simultaneously, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital literacy influences critical thinking ability with an R2 value of 37%. The results of this study indicate that the proper and wise use of artificial intelligence can serve as an analytical and reflective tool in facilitating critical thinking processes among students. Digital literacy is an important foundation in shaping students to become analytical, reflective, and capable of facing information challenges. Therefore, support from various parties is needed to help students improve their critical thinking skills in facing the complex technological era.

Abstract

Kemacetan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu tantangan utama di perkotaan yang memengaruhi efisiensi transportasi dan produktivitas masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem analisis kepadatan lalu lintas berbasis YOLOv8, teknologi terbaru dalam deteksi objek. Dataset yang digunakan mencakup gambar kendaraan beranotasi dari berbagai kondisi. Model YOLOv8 dilatih untuk mendeteksi dan menghitung kendaraan secara real-time pada video. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan akurasi dan kecepatan pemrosesan dalam berbagai kondisi pencahayaan dan cuaca. Hasil menunjukkan YOLOv8 mencapai akurasi deteksi 88%, membuktikan kemampuannya untuk menganalisis kepadatan lalu lintas secara efisien. Sistem ini berpotensi diimplementasikan dalam manajemen lalu lintas cerdas untuk mengoptimalkan waktu sinyal dan mengurangi kemacetan. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengintegrasikan sistem ini dengan perangkat IoT untuk aplikasi transportasi cerdas yang lebih luas.

Abstract

General Background: Teachers’ professional competence is a key determinant of education quality, particularly at the early childhood level. Specific Background: Principals play a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategies to foster teachers’ competence in lesson planning, classroom management, and innovative teaching practices. Knowledge Gap: While many studies have examined teacher development, limited research has explored principals’ systematic strategies in the context of community-based PAUD institutions. Aim: This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by the principal of PAUD Sejenis Pelita Bunda Muaro Jambi to improve teachers’ professional competence. Results: Using a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings reveal that five main strategies—academic supervision, internal workshops, teacher learning communities, motivation and appreciation, and performance evaluation—significantly supported teacher development. Additional initiatives such as literacy culture, digital learning, and benchmarking enriched teachers’ professional growth, with 80% of teachers reporting improved ability to design lesson plans (RPPH). Novelty: This study highlights the integration of formal and informal strategies, combining supervision with collaborative and motivational practices. Implications: The findings emphasize the importance of principals’ adaptive leadership in sustaining teacher professionalism and can serve as a model for early childhood institutions seeking to strengthen teaching quality. Abstract

This study aimed to develop and validate a Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) assessment instrument that leverages Wordwall activities embedded in Google Sites for teaching Newton’s Laws. A quantitative-descriptive design with an evaluative approach was employed. Nineteen Grade XI science students from Gajah Mada Private Senior High School were selected through purposive sampling. Item analysis examined validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination power. Of the ten multiple-choice items constructed, five (50 %) met validity criteria, and the instrument achieved a reliability coefficient of 0.492, indicating adequate internal consistency. Difficulty indices classified three items as difficult and seven as moderate, while discrimination indices categorized two items as very good, three as good, one as fair, and four as poor. Students’ mean achievement score of 37.89 % suggests limited familiarity with HOTS-oriented questions. Pedagogically, embedding Wordwall in Google Sites enhanced learner engagement, reduced test anxiety, increased comfort, and simplified teachers’ post-test analysis through automated scoring. Consequently, the HOTS-based instrument is not only statistically sound but also practically effective for supporting digital physics instruction.

Abstract

Nugie Wedding Organizer is a service that helps prepare and organize wedding events. For those who are inexperienced and do not have enough time and energy to prepare for a wedding, this service provides facilities to carry out and launch all desired wedding activities. The process of ordering customers for Nugie Wedding Organizer services is still done manually where customers have to come to the office directly to place orders and pay for packages, so it takes a lot of time. And the customer data recording system is also done manually, namely by recording in the book. To facilitate the work of the owner of the Nugie Wedding Organizer, there needs to be an update which changes the old system with the new system. The goal is to make it easier for customers to make the process of ordering wedding packages online through a new system that was created and make it easier for Nugie Wedding Organizer owners to serve orders and process customer data. This new system utilizes the codeigniter framework in making programs to be more organized and focused on the functionality needed when building this wedding organizer booking application. The research method used is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which goes through several stages. The results of research conducted using internal and external tests obtained a value of 81.67% which can be concluded that this new system is approved for use.

Abstract

Desa Kalianan Kecamatan Krucil Kabupaten Probolinggo merupakan desa penghasil umbi ganyong terbesar di Kabupaten Probolinggo, sebagian masyarakat petani umbi ganyong akan menjual hasil tanaman dengan harga murah disaat musim panin tiba. Karena penduduk Desa Kalianan belum paham untuk mengelola umbi gayong menjadi bahan baku olahan makanan. Dari permasalah tersebut kami memberikan solusi untuk menjadikan umbi ganyong menjadi bahan baku (tepung) sebagai bahan utama dari berbagai jenis makanan. Setelah menjadikan makanan yang berbahan baku umbi ganyong ada permasalahan baru bagaimana memasarkan produk dari hasil produksi ibu-ibu PKK Desa Kalianan Kecamatan Krucil kami memberikan solusi untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam menjual hasil produk. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode Agile dengan beberapa tahapan meliputi : (requirement) tahapan awal sistem manual yang akan digunakan,(desain) perancangan tampilan, (development) pengembangan pengetahuan dalam bisang teknologi, (testing) pengujian dalam proses upload promosi jualan, (deployments) penerapan tentang respon konsumen dan terakhir (review) tahapan ini akan melakukan suatu proses pemeriksaan secara kompleks.  Aplikasi open source yang telah banyak bisa dimanfaatkan oleh ibu-ibu PKK untuk menjual dagangannya tanpa harus bertatap muka dengan pembeli. Dengan aplikasi marketplace dapat mempromosikan daganganya. Kami memberikn pembelaran mulai proses registrasi sampai pengiriman pesanan dagangan para ibu-ibu PKK Desa Kalianan, dengan begitu masyarakat bisa dengan mudah mempromosikan dagangannya selain makanan yang berbahan baku umbi ganyong. Kesimpulan dari penelitian akan memberikan tambahan pengetahuan terhadap ibu-ibu PKK Desa Kalianan bisa memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membantu ekonomi dalam menunjang kebutuhan keluarganya

Abstract

The urgency of this article is the increase in the prevalence of socio-emotional problems faced by elementary school children in the modern era. This study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize critically the empirical findings regarding emotional management in elementary school-age children in the context of modern life. Scientific articles used were those published between 2015 and 2024, and articles indexed in Scopus and Sinta databases. Moreover, studies that explicitly discuss emotional management in 6-12-year-old children were also included. The results of the study indicated that emotional management strategies for children have been developed globally, yet their implementation remains uneven at the local level. Three main findings for effective strategies that frequently emerge are emotional management strategies, with 44 articles (31.65%). Common challenges were reported in 42 articles (30.14%), such as a lack of teacher training in managing students' emotions. Solutions involving teacher training regarding emotion and their regulations were reported in 21 articles (29.19%). This functions as a solid foundation to understand how children's emotional education should be developed, not only taught.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the legal literacy of marginalized women in Pagatan Besar Village through education and mentoring regarding unregistered marriages and the right to maintenance using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. A total of 23 participants, the majority of whom were women of productive age, participated in the entire series of activities, which included training, simulations, group discussions, and pre-post evaluations to measure the level of legal understanding before and after the activity. The results of the implementation showed a significant increase in participant understanding, where more than 90% understood the concept and definition of unregistered marriage, the legal and social consequences it brings, and the rights to maintenance attached to wives and children. In addition, ? 90% of participants showed increased legal awareness, practical skills in identifying and resolving family law problems, and confidence in demanding their rights through legal channels. Participants also gave positive responses to the material, interactive delivery methods, and the mentoring approach that was contextual to their social realities. However, this activity has limitations, such as the coverage area, which only covers one village, the relatively short duration of the intervention, and the unmeasured long-term administrative impact. Thus, this service concludes that PAR-based legal literacy is effective in increasing legal awareness and empowerment of marginalized women and is recommended for replication on a wider scale.

Abstract

Puskesmas Bugel merupakan salah satu puskesmas yang berkomitmen untuk menurunkan masalah gizi di wilayah kerjanya dengan menginisasi kerja sama dengan akademisi dan swasta dalam programnya. Tujuan kegiatan abdimas adalah memberikan intervensi menu bergizi yang terjangkau, dengan bahan makanan yang mudah diperoleh dan sesuai dengan standar WHO serta tinggi zat gizi untuk dapat memperbaiki masalah gizi balita pada kegiatan Pos Gizi.  Metode pengabdian berupa intervensi menu yang terencana setiap hari selama 14 hari. Kegiatan dilakukan di pagi hari selama 2 jam meliputi penimbangan dan pengukuran, penyuluhan kandungan gizi menu, cuci tangan bersama dan balita makan bersama. Pihak yang terlibat adalah Puskesmas selaku mitra yang membutuhkan pendampingan intervensi menu; Akademisi selaku perancang menu yang sesuai dengan AKG 2019 dan standar WHO; dan Pihak Swasta, yaitu PT. Accelerating Action Center (AAC Consulting Group) selaku pengolah dan penyaji menu intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan menu intervensi memiliki rata-rata kecukupan protein yang tinggi (88% AKP 2019) dengan rata-rata densitas energi yang cukup tinggi (1,7 kkal/gram). Lebih dari 90% responden puas dengan menu intervensi. Menu intervensi berpotensi signifikan meningkatkan berat dan tinggi badan balita ketika diberikan dalam waktu yang lebih panjang. Diperlukan kerja sama dengan durasi minimal 3 bulan untuk mendapatkan hasil perbaikan gizi yang signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the optimization of the application of Sharia-based State Law can enhance the quality of village governance, with a focus on Aluh-Aluh Village in Banjar Regency. The application of Sharia-based State Law is expected to improve the mechanisms and processes of village governance and integrate Sharia principles into resource management and public services. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews with village officials, observation of activities, and document studies. The findings indicate that the application of Sharia economic principles, such as justice ('adl), transparency (shafafiyah), and social responsibility (mas'uliyah), not only enhances transparency and accountability within village governance but also strengthens community participation in decision-making and resource management. Integrating these principles offers solutions to challenges such as unequal resource distribution, low transparency, and weak accountability. The implications of this research suggest that the implementation of Sharia-based State Law can promote more responsible financial management practices, increase community involvement, and support sustainable development. The integration of Sharia economic principles into village governance provides a model for other villages with similar conditions and can enhance community engagement and public service quality. The study recommends long-term planning and adherence to Sharia principles to improve transparency, accountability, and prosperity at the village level.
