Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) menggunakan software Canva serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan reflektif matematis siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, dan uji coba produk. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa, dan tes kemampuan reflektif matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori sangat valid dan praktis. Selain itu, hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan reflektif matematis siswa setelah menggunakan E-LKPD. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD interaktif berbasis PBL menggunakan Canva layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran matematika.   This study aims to develop a PBL-based interactive E-LKPD using Canva software and to examine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving senior high school students’ mathematical reflective ability. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method consisting of needs analysis, design, development, and product testing stages. The subjects were senior high school students involved in limited and field trials. The instruments included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and mathematical reflective ability tests. The results showed that the developed PBL-based interactive E-LKPD was categorized as very valid and practical. Moreover, the effectiveness test indicated an improvement in students’ mathematical reflective ability after using the E-LKPD. Therefore, the developed E-LKPD is feasible to be used as learning material in mathematics instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the indications of an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through the application of a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on a Deep Learning approach. The background of this study is based on the condition of mathematics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Bayah, which is still dominated by a one-way method and is not yet optimal in facilitating active student involvement in problem solving. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 30 students in class VII-F. The research instrument was a descriptive test of mathematical problem-solving skills compiled based on Polya's steps. Data analysis included normality tests, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-Gain calculations to see the level of improvement in student abilities. The results of the analysis showed that there was a difference in scores between the pretest and posttest, and the average N-Gain value was 0.4, which was in the moderate category. These findings indicate an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills after the implementation of Deep Learning-based PjBL learning. However, given the research design that did not involve a control group, the results of this study are understood as preliminary (tentative) evidence regarding the potential of the applied learning. This study implies that the integration of PjBL and the Deep Learning approach has the potential to create more meaningful and contextual mathematics learning, and can serve as a basis for further research with a stronger experimental design.

Abstract

Studi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran EdPuzzle dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis berdasarkan kajian literatur yang ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif menggunakan protokol PRISMA ( Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses ). Pencarian artikel dilakukan pada beberapa data dasar: GoogleScholar (185 artikel), Publish or Perish (72 artikel), SINTA (41 artikel), dan Scopus (14 artikel), sehingga total 312 artikel teridentifikasi dari rentang tahun 2016-2026. Setelah proses screening dan uji kelayakan, sebanyak 15 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi, terdiri dari: Sinta 2 (1 Artikel), Sinta 3 (3 artikel), Sinta 4 (8 artikel), dan jurnal internasional terindeks scopus (4 artikel). Hasil Kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan EdPuzzle secara konsisten terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan N-gain berkisar antara 10% hingga 62%. EdPuzzle yang dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran aktif seperti Discovery Learning dan Problem-Based Learning , dan pendekatan STEM menghasilkan peningkatan berpikir kritis yang lebih signifikan. Fitur EdPuzzle interaktif seperti penyematan kuis dalam video, pemantauan aktivitas siswa, serta transmisi akses mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan kemapuan analitis siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa EdPuzzle layak dijadikan media pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan Gallery Walk terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan Gallery Walk, sedangkan kelas VIII J sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL tanpa Gallery Walk. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan Gallery Walk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) saja, yang ditunjukan oleh nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 ( P < 0,05).

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and computational thinking (CT) in 21st-century mathematics education, as well as the affective factor of mathematics anxiety that may influence these abilities. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between mathematics anxiety and computational thinking skills, and to analyze the role of HOTS within this relationship through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. The method follows the PRISMA model, including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and data synthesis stages, involving 15 articles indexed in Scopus and Sinta, retrieved from Google Scholar (6 Scopus-indexed and 9 Sinta 1-4 indexed articles) published between 2021 and 2026. The findings indicate that most studies show a negative relationship between mathematics anxiety and CT, where increased anxiety is associated with lower computational thinking ability. However, this relationship is contextual and influenced by technology-based and innovative learning interventions. Furthermore, CT acts as a mediating variable that can reduce the negative impact of anxiety on learning outcomes, while HOTS functions as a cognitive framework linking affective and cognitive aspects. These findings highlight the importance of integrating CT and HOTS in mathematics learning to enhance students’ thinking quality while minimizing mathematics anxiety.

Abstract

Mathematical reflective thinking ability is a higher-order skill vital in mathematics education. Yet, research on its link with self-regulated learning (SRL) among junior high school students is limited and unsystematically reviewed. This study examines the relationship between SRL and mathematical reflective thinking ability through a 10-year (2016–2026) systematic literature review, identifying patterns and implications for mathematics education at the junior high school level. Using Systematic Literature Review (SLR) per PRISMA guidelines, searches on Google Scholar, ERIC, and accredited national journals employed keywords: "self-regulated learning," "mathematical reflective thinking ability," and "junior high school students." Of 30 articles identified, 15 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. Findings show a consistent positive correlation between SRL and mathematical reflective thinking ability. High-SRL students more comprehensively fulfill reflective thinking indicators (reacting, elaborating, contemplating) compared to medium/low-SRL peers. This relationship is mediated by the structural alignment between SRL phases (forethought, performance control, self-reflection) and the cognitive processes underlying reflective thinking. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) consistently optimizes the role of SRL in developing mathematical reflective thinking ability. The study strengthens the empirical basis for fostering SRL in junior high school mathematics learning and urges the integration of metacognitive strategies into the curriculum

Abstract

Ditengah fenomena math anxiety yang membuat siswa takut akan pembelajaran matematika, siswa yang memiliki ketangguhan dalam menghadapi matematika, serta dapat bangkit kembali dari keterpurukan dikenal dengan istilah mathematical resilience. Media pembelajaran berbasis game muncul sebagai solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan mathematical resilience siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu potensi media pembelajaran berbasis game dalam mendukung mathematical resilience dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). SLR dilakukan dengan mengikuti alur PRISMA yakni Identification (165 artikel), Screening (131 artikel), eligibility (66 artikel), hingga akhirnya mendapatkan 16 artikel inklusi (included) yang berada di SINTA 4 dan SINTA 3.  Pencarian  jurnal dilakukan di Google Scholar melalui Publish or Perish dengan “media pembelaran berbasis game,” “resiliensi,” “afektif,” dan “matematika” sebagai kata kunci yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis 16 artikel terpilih terlihat bahwa potensi media pembelajaran berbasis game paling dominan muncul pada indicator kemauan untuk mempelajari dan menguasai matematika, serta indikator kemampuan mengatasi kesulitan yang muncul. Pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran berbasis game digital seperti Wordwall, Quizizz, Kahoot, Baamboozle, dan Educaplay terbukti mengubah persepsi siswa dari matematika yang tadinya dianggap sulit dan membosankan menjadi pengalaman belajar yang seru dan menyenangkan, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan  siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Sehingga, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis game memiliki potensi yang sangat besar dalam mendukung dan memperkuat mathematical resilience siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics learning requires instructional approaches that enable students to understand abstract concepts through meaningful experiences. Ethnomathematics offers opportunities to connect mathematical ideas with cultural contexts; however, previous studies have largely focused on identifying mathematical concepts in cultural objects, while empirical evidence on the effectiveness of culture-based instructional materials remains limited. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Banten culture-based ethnomathematics video instructional materials in learning the Pythagorean Theorem. This study employed a posttest-only quasi-experimental design involving 60 eighth-grade students from a junior high school in Banten, Indonesia. The participants were divided into an experimental group ( ) and a control group ( ), with initial equivalence examined using Mid-Semester Test scores. Data were collected through a validated essay test and analysed using descriptive statistics, assumption tests, and an independent samples t-test. The experimental group achieved a higher mean posttest score (66.98) than the control group (46.11). The difference was statistically significant, , , with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.95). The findings indicate that the developed instructional materials significantly improved students’ learning outcomes compared with conventional textbook-based instruction. However, the study was limited to one school and a relatively small sample. Future studies should involve broader contexts and additional learning variables.
