Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to provide an understanding of the use of the quizizz application through training and assistance in the use of the quizizz application as a learning medium at the Muhammadiyah 1 Taman High School, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province. This training activity is a form of training and mentoring to increase awareness of the importance of understanding the use of digital and technology platforms. Implementation methods with workshops such as presentation models, lectures, discussions, and counseling. The results of the study provide an answer that the quality of student understanding lies in the creativity of the teacher in the use of interesting digital platforms such as the quizizz application. So, providing training and assistance related to the use of the quizizz application is important, especially for teachers and especially for high schools for students who are enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide training on differentiated learning and the preparation of teaching modules at UPT Gugus 2 SDN Sampangagung 1 Mojokerto, East Java. This training was attended by 30 elementary school teachers. The methods used included presentations, group discussions, and the preparation of teaching modules. Participants were enthusiastic and highly committed to improving their skills. The results of this training showed an increase in teachers' understanding of differentiated learning and the ability to prepare teaching modules that are more varied and in accordance with student characteristics. This training is expected to contribute to improving the quality of learning. This activity went smoothly thanks to the good cooperation between the implementation team, the school, and the participants. This training can be a model for other schools in an effort to improve the quality of education through a more personal and innovative approach.

Abstract

This research was conducted against the background of the phenomenon of declining social behavior in society and the problems it causes. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the development of children's social behavioral attitudes through advocacy activities. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were children aged 8-12 years in Taman District, Sidoarjo. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that advocacy activities can develop children's social care attitudes towards various social issues that develop in the community. These issues include the environment, social justice, education, and health. Participation in advocacy activities illustrates cooperation in the form of collaboration between children with each other. They learn to cooperate in achieving goals. The role of advocacy institutions is initiation, planning, mobilizing resources, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating.

Abstract

This study discusses the weak understanding and internalization of anti-corruption values among students who need character education efforts to prevent corrupt behavior from an early age. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the anti-corruption value strengthening program at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya as a step to form a generation with integrity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of students, teachers, and principals. The results of the study show that the school has implemented various effective programs, such as honesty canteens, transparent management of student council funds, and habituation of the values of honesty and responsibility in learning activities. These programs have a positive impact in shaping the character of students who have integrity and anti-corruption attitudes. However, the study also found that the challenges in the form of anti-corruption materials presented are still conceptual and less relevant to students' daily lives. In conclusion, the anti-corruption value strengthening program in schools is effective, but it needs to be improved by adding simulation-based materials and real case studies to deepen students' understanding of the dangers of corruption and improve the application of values in their lives.

Abstract

Majelis Taklim is a non-formal Islamic educational institution that has its curriculum, is held regularly and regularly, and is attended by a relatively large number of congregations. In Indonesia, the development of educational institutions of the taklim council type is large or in great demand by pilgrims, especially in big cities where people are thirsty for Islamic education, this study aims to understand and analyze the innovation of Islamic education teaching in developing religious and national understanding in the Al-Maryam Taklim Council of North Jakarta. This field research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and uses triangulation techniques to test the validity of the data. The results of the study concluded that the teaching innovation of Islamic religious education in developing religious and national understanding at the Al-Maryam Taklim Council in North Jakarta by conditioning teaching materials, teaching methods (lecture method accompanied by teaching aids/teaching aids, question and answer method, field trip method, discussion method and practice method), teaching approach, and scientific quality of resource persons. Recommendations to researchers who wish to conduct research again at the Taklim Council to find more in-depth information so that our science continues to develop and grow, do not stop here. There are new things that can be found at the Kaklim Assembly this time.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hasil implementasi pembelajaran berdifferensiasi mata pelajaran PJOK mahasiswa PPG Prodi Penjas Universitasi PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya di saat mahasiswa mengikuti program PPL, Materi pembelajaran berifferensiasi diajarkan di materi PPG Prodi Penjas. Jenis penelitian survei, dengan subjek penelitian pada mahasiswa PPG prodi penjas yang mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdifferensiasi di mapel penjas, Lokasi penelitian di lakukan di 5 sekolah SMP yang ada di kota surabaya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dan sudah dilvalidasi oleh ahli dan dinyatakan layak, teknik pengambilan data dengan mengunakan google form. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 80% mahasiwa menguasai konsep pembelajaran berdifferensiasi dalam kategori sangat baik, 20% kategori sangat baik sekali. Implementasi di lapangan 75% mahasiswa mempraktikkan sangat baik sekali, dan 25% sangat baik. Penerapan pembelajaran dari toeri ke konsep melalui kegiatan implementasi pembelajaran differensiasi sudah dapat dipahami dan diimplementasikan dengan baik. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi pembelajaran differensiasi dapat diterapkan dengan sangat baik oleh mahasiswa PPL program PPG penjas Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada penanaman nilai karakter demokratis melalui permainan tradisional oleh pemuda Kampung Lali Gadget, Desa Pagarngumbuk, Kecamatan Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: mendeskripsikan, menganalisis faktor penghambat, dan menganalisis solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam menanamkan nilai karakter demokratis melalui permainan tradisional di Kampung Lali Gadget. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah para pemuda Kampung Lali Gadget. Keabsahan data ini menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penanaman nilai karakter demokratis melalui permainan tradisional oleh pemuda Kampung Lali Gadget di Desa Pagarngumbuk Kecamatan Wonoayu Sidoarjo sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Faktor penghambat dalam penanaman nilai karakter demokratis ini adalah orang tua, anak itu sendiri dan gadget. Solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada pada penanaman nilai karakter demokratis ini yaitu terus menerus mengajarkan dan mengenalkan permainan tradisional dengan berupaya mengadakan sosialisasi terkait Kampung Lali Gadget.

Abstract

Islamic student boarding school (pesantren) an institution that operates in the fields of religion, education, and society, has recently received a sharp focus on issues of religious radicalism and terrorism. Pesantren has long been an institution that has an important contribution to participate in the intellectual life of the Indonesian nation. This study aims to analyze the leadership model in student boarding schools that can counteract the growth and development of religious radicalism movements in Indonesia. This research was phenomenological qualitative research that took place in three student boarding schools in Java, Indonesia. The three student boarding schools were the Al-Hikam Student Islamic Boarding School in Malang City, the Al-Jihad Student Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya, and the Budi Mulia Student Islamic Boarding School in Sleman Yogyakarta. Sources of data used included boarding school administrators, students, and alumni, as well as documents and archives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, document searches, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Data analysis was carried out phenomenologically with a systematic procedure. The research findings show that the leadership models in the three student boarding schools generally have similarities even though each pesantren has its characteristics. The leadership model in the three student Islamic boarding schools includes democratic leadership, which is managed in a systematic, open, collegial, and decentralized manner with many individuals who do not fully rely on charisma and are not completely paternalistic. This democratic leadership model has proven to be effective in countering religious radicalism movements in student boarding schools in particular and in society in general.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasarkan pada peranan kepemimpinan kepala desa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi warganya pada kegiatan pembangunan fisik yang ada di Desa Penambangan, Kecamatan Balongbendo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peranan kepemimpinan kepala desa untuk meningkatkan partisipasi warga dalam pembangunan fisik, untuk menemukan bentuk-bentuk partisipasi warga dalam pembangunan fisik, serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pembangunan fisik di Desa Penambangan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dengan wawancara kepada kepala desa, perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat serta Badan Pengawas Desa (BPD), data sekunder dengan dokumen RPJM, RKP, dan APBDes tahun 2021. Setelah itu data dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Seluruh data diuji kredibilitasnya dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala desa berperan sangat baik dan membawa banyak perubahan dan kemajuan dari berbagai bidang, misalnya bidang fisik pembangunan, bidang formal dan sumber daya manusianya. Kepala Desa juga sudah membawa perubahan pada pemerintahan desa yang dulunya beku masalah pemerintahannya dan sekarang sudah tidak lagi. Bentuk kemajuan dan perubahan desa dibuktikan dengan salah satunya yaitu berdirinya pujasera atau BUMDES dan pasar desa yang bisa dimanfaatkan warga untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan perekonomian warga sekitar. Bentuk partisipasi warga adalah ikut serta secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembangunan fisik desa. Kepala Desa berperan sangat baik dalam meningkatkan partisipasi warga yaitu dengan memotivasi warga serta mengadakan sosialisasi dan merencanakan program pembangunan secara bersama-sama. Faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pembangunan fisik adalah 0,0%, maksudnya tidak ada hambatan baik itu dari segi pembangunan maupun pelayanan kepada warga Desa Penambangan, Kecamatan Balongbendo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Abstract

This international community service program was conducted from June 2 to 4, 2025, as a collaboration between lecturers from the Master of Primary Education program and lecturers from Maejo University, Thailand, at SD ICP Al Falah Darussalam 2, Tropodo, Waru, Sidoarjo. The theme of the program was Strengthening Teachers' Pedagogical Competence in the Digital Era. The activity aimed to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence in responding to the challenges of the digital age. The methods employed included interactive training sessions, group discussions, and guided hands-on practice using digital technology. The results indicated a high level of participant enthusiasm, improved understanding of digital pedagogy, and increased motivation among teachers to integrate technology into their teaching practices. This initiative demonstrates that international collaboration can significantly strengthen local capacity in developing teacher competence for the digital era
