Abstract

THE ROLE OF SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMON ASEAN TOURISM CURRICULUM AT SMK NEGERI 3 MALANGTourism Vocational School is one of the concepts in vocational education, where students are taught the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed by the Tourism Industry at both national and international levels. For example, a school that applies the concept of a tourism vocational school is SMK Negeri 3 Malang, which integrates two curricula consisting of the 2013 curriculum and the CATC. This study aims to examine and describe the uniqueness of the processes and stages in school management at SMK Negeri 3 Malang, which is located in Malang-East Java, in developing CATC at the SMK level. The school management study included the stages of planning, organizing, directing, and implementing, as well as controlling. This study uses a qualitative method, with the researcher as the instrument. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Based on the existing data and information, the results were obtained, and it can be concluded that a good and structured process of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling is the main supporting factor in developing the curriculum for school operational units at SMK Negeri 3 Malang. To be able to achieve the objectives as stated in the curriculum of the school's operational unit, detailed planning, organization according to needs, direction, and implementation in accordance with programs that have been prepared and planned, as well as intensive control on a regular basis with instruments that are prepared objectively and measurably is needed.

As a main data collection tool used a questionnaire to be tested for validity and reliability. The number of samples in the study were 28 employees. As for the method data analysis using analysis path. From the results study show that discipline leadership form discipline self (X1) and discipline group (X2) separately simultaneous influential to quality service implementation of package B (Y) program of 0.763 or 76.3%. Discipline form discipline self (X1) independently Partial influential to quality services (Y) at the North City Sub District Office of Gorontalo City for 0.260 2 = 0.068 or 6.8%. Abstract

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Medeka (MBKM) merupakan kebijakan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi yang diberlakukan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi Republik Indonseia. Pelaksanaan dilapangan bukan tanpa hambatan dan dampak nyata terhadap mahasiswa. Adapun penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan MBKM terhadap pelaksanan pendidikan tinggi yang ada di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah tinjauan pustaka yang menggunakan aplikasi publish or perish untuk mencari artikel dengan cara memasukan kata kunci merdeka belajar kampus merdeka (MBKM) lalu dipilih artikel terbaru 5 tahun terakhir yang sesuai dengan tema artikel ini lalu dilihat abstraknya dan selanjutnya dipilih yang sesuai dengan tema. Selanjutnya dianalisis berdasarkan bidang keilmuan penulis manajemen pendidikan. Hasil dari tinjauan literatur ini adalah 1) terdapat 16 kendala implementasi kurikulum MBKM khususnya yang dihadapi oleh program studi, 2) dampak dari kurikulum MBKM semua peneliti sepakat sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa untuk dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pribadinya berupa soft skill dan hard skill serta pengalaman belajar di luar kampus sebagai bagian meningkatkan kompetensi capaian lulusan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap permasalahan rendahnya motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya serta solusi yang ditawarkan oleh peneliti sebagai acuan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Creative Problem Solving (CPS). Dengan lima tahapan penyelesaian masalah, yaitu 1) penentuan fakta, penentuan masalah, 3) penemuan gagasan 4) penerimaan soaial. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa factor-faktor yang dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap Berdasarkan hasil maka penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami proses penurunan motivasi belajar, yang dimana hal ini juga menurunkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Factor-faktor yang dominan yang dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah : 1) cita-cita mahasiswa 2) kemampuan dasar mahasiswa 3) kondisi mahasiswa 4) kondisi lingkungan mahasiswa 5) unsur-unsur dinamis belajar dan pembelajaran 6) peran dosen dalam pembelajaran. Saran dari Penelitian ini adalah : 1) dosen harus mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan cara memberikan masukan melalui nasehat saat proses pembelajaran, 2) orang tua juga harus berperan aktif dalam mengontrol setiap pergaulan anaknya, jangan sampai anak berada pada lingkungan yang kurang baik.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This community service activity aimed to develop and launch an artificial intelligence (AI)-based website as a promotional media and digital archive for the Cirebon Sawo Kecik Dance and Culture Art Studio. This is due to the need for this dance studio to increase its exposure in the digital world and archive works of art. In creating this website, a needs analysis was carried out, website development with AI integration, as well as training for studio members. From the results of implementing this activity, it was found that an interactive website can accommodate event promotion, adjust content to visitor preferences, and collect digital archive data of works of art. This community service activity also helped dance studios increasing their visibility online. Therefore, the application of AI technology in the form of a website has helped the Sawo Kecik Dance and Cultural Arts Studio achieve the studio's digital promotion and archiving goals well.

Abstract

In this thesis, the problem discussed focuses on the influence of the social dilemma of the main character in the novel  The Heir by Kiera Cass. Eadlyn's dilemma was a problem she faced in her own family that forced her to complete The Selection and her dream of becoming a royal ruler. This research uses descriptive analyst method, based on the psychological approach of ID, ego, super ego and research techniques based on library research. The results of the research prove that dilemma can influence the decision of the main character that makes the main character  sacrifice her dreams to her parents for the sake of the kingdom rather than her own desires. The dilemma of exogenous factors experienced by the main character in the novel The Heir by Kiera Cass has a greater role in influencing decisions taken by the main character and it also affects the social life of the main character in the form of conflict between the main character and her family and changes in her nature, from being stubborn to being caring and compassionate.Keywords: dilemma, conflict, main character

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the anxiety that has been experienced by the main character from the novel If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo. Through the analytical descriptive method and supported with psychoanalysis theory, the present writer also concludes that the main character has experienced the anxiety, which gives the influence in her social life. This anxiety is influenced by the internal and external factors. Two differences background which affected are sexual disorder behavior of the main character and harsh environment which made the main character has experienced the anxiety as long as her life. Abstract

This article is entitled The Impact of Psychological Trauma on The Life of The Main Character in The Novel Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman”. This study aims to determine the factors and impacts of psychological trauma on the life of the main character (Eleanor). The method used in this research is descriptive method and uses library research data analysis techniques by describing the intrinsic and extrinsic elements that are contained in the novel. The theory used is Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis. Psychoanalytic theory is used with the aim of knowing the personality state of the main character by looking at her past history. The results of this study show that the house fire that was deliberately carried out by her biological mother had an effect on Eleanor's personality and life.Keywords : trauma; impact of trauma; main character; psychoanalysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze word stress and factors that cause the differences in pronunciation in the news reading videos of students majoring in Public Relations. Using the descriptive method, this study focuses on how students pronounce words stress by comparing the pronunciation with Standard American English (SAE). Through the transcription of the news reading, it is found that there are 30 words containing word stress. Working with 10 selected informants, results reveal that the students can pronounce 16 words with the correct stress. 11 words are pronounced in different syllables and 1 word is pronounced without stress. The rest of the data indicates diverse answers by the informants but still highlights the mispronunciation. The factors that cause difficulties in the pronunciation of word stress in English are the interferences of the mother tongue, the inconsistency of some sounds in English, the differences in phonological rules between English and Indonesian, and lastly, the lack of exposure to English as a medium for communication.Keywords: pronunciation; word stress; syllables.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to show the type of anxiety and the psychological impact on the main character in the novel Blue Skies by Catherine Anderson. The method used to conduct this research is descriptive analysis whilst the technique is library research. Besides that, this paper also applies intrinsic approach in the process of the analysis, such as character and characterization, setting and conflict as well as extrinsic approach which is the theory of psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud. Carly Adams as the main character is identified to experience a lot of anxiety problems namely neurotic, realistic and morality anxiety. Those anxieties have given psychological impact on Carlys life. However, at the end, the main character is able to control her anxiety problem. Keywords : Physcological Problem, Anxiety, Psychoanalysis
