Abstract

The implementation of rules in the classroom, including the imposition of punishment (iqab), can help students develop their personalities. In this study, the 'iqab program for elementary school children at the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school, Asahan Regency, will be described. A qualitative methodology and phenomenological approach are used in this investigation. employing observation, interviews, and documentation studies to gather data. data analysis that includes data display, data reduction strategies, and conclusion-making. The findings of this study show that: (1) the academic guidebook for pupils serves to socialize the idea of the "iqab"; (2) The purpose of implementing the 'iqab is to educate and stimulate students, thereby motivating them to behave well, maintain discipline, and abide by the law. Penalties must also have a high priority on benefits for pupils' education; (3) The diverse backgrounds of the students, the need for repeated warnings to get them used to following the rules of the pesantren, the students' lack of awareness, and the lack of cooperation between parents/guardians and the pesantren in maximizing the implementation of the rules are all obstacles to the implementation of iqab, and (4) The pesantren asks parents and guardians of students to assist in applying 'iqab, as well as to observe and assess the implementation each time a sanction is given to demonstrate the efficacy of enforcing sanctions on students, in order to overcome hurdles to doing so.

Abstract

The main challenges in learning the history of Islamic culture include students' perceptions of being more enthusiastic, low student participation, limited teacher staff, and the need to use more ICT-based learning media. This research aims to make interactive digital storybooks a learning tool to deepen their understanding of the history of Islamic culture and create exciting and interactive learning resources that can increase student engagement and expand their knowledge about values, practices and essential events in Islamic culture. This type of research and development uses the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation), with the research subjects being teachers and students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Bhakti Mandiri Pematang Siantar, Medan, Indonesia. The results show that interactive digital storybooks significantly increase students' understanding and engagement in learning. However, it's worth being aware of some drawbacks, such as limited accessibility and potential technical issues. Nevertheless, interactive digital storybooks are still an adequate alternative in supporting students' learning about the history of Islamic culture. Limitations of this study include limited accessibility, potential technical problems and difficulties in navigating the interface in interactive digital storybooks. This research implies that interactive digital storybooks are an adequate alternative to support the learning of Islamic cultural history and have the potential to be improved by paying attention to factors such as suitability of content, pleasant design, and teacher involvement.

Abstract

Distribution is the process of distributing products from producers to consumers. The ease of consumers in obtaining the desired product is the top priority of every company. In the distribution system, the chosen route is the most important element in determining the distance to be traveled and the costs to be incurred. If the chosen route is optimal, then the distribution system becomes more effective and efficient.  Basedon the results of the author's observations, the delivery of goods in the company is still manual and irregular, where the goods are sent from the depot to the consumer and back to the depot so that it takes a lot of time and costs. One solution in solving the distribution problem is the Capacity Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP).  The Sweep algorithm is the simplest clustering method to solve CVRP. In this study, the author used a sweep algorithm because this algorithm is one of the methods that can solve the problem of the distribution route of Quranic books.  Based onthe results of the study, researchers compared the distribution route usingthe sweep algorithm and the distributionroute of the previous company, obtained a percentage of total mileage savings of 35.35%, namely from the previous total company mileage of 135.2 Km to 87.4 Km by using the Sweep algorithm. This shows that the CVRP method using the sweep algorithm can provide optimal distance and save company expenses.

Abstract

In this research process, the aim is to determine the shortest route for transporting waste with the shortest or minimum total distance. In this case, what must be considered is the transportation of waste, regarding the distance between the location of the waste source to the landfills. The problem of waste transportation routes can be made in a mathematical method. The method used in waste transportation is the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) method. In solving the problem of transporting waste using the CVRP method, distance must be minimized or optimized using the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm. On the initial route of work area 1 there is the o-p-q-r-s-o route which has a total distance of 133.5 Km, in which there are several villages such as the Mambang Muda TPA - Belungihit Village - Aek Hitetoras Village - Brussel Plantation Village - Aek Tapa Village - Mambang Muda TPA. And after the latest garbage transportation route uses the PSO algorithm, the optimal distance is 132.5 Km with the o-s-q-r-p-o route where the village is Mambang Muda TPA - Aek Tapa Village - Aek Hitetoras Village - Brussels Plantation Village - Belungihit Village - Mambang Muda Landfill. In WK 2 there is an initial route o-p-q-r-s-o which has a total distance of 153.9 Km, in which the route has several TPA Mambang Muda villages - Marbau Village - Lobu Rampah Village - Simpang 4 Village - Pernantian Plantation Village - Mambang Muda TPA. And after the latest garbage transportation route uses the PSO algorithm, the optimal distance and route is 127.7 Km. In work area 3 with the initial route and distance of 150 and after using the PSO algorithm, the optimal route and distance is 137.1 Km. In work area 4 with a route and distance of 127.8 Km, the optimal route and distance using the PSO algorithm is 149.8 Km. Work area 4 has a route and initial distance of 157.8 Km and the optimal PSO route and distance is 149.8. The 5th working area has an initial distance of 180.3 and the PSO route is 134.3 Km. The working area of the 5 initial routes is 152.4 Km and the PSO route is 152.4.

Abstract

A Nonparametric regression with a truncated biresponse spline approach is a good method in solving the problem of unknown shape of the regression curve. Truncated splines provide high flexibility in estimating curves that have data patterns that tend to change at certain intervals and do not require classic assumption tests. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best biresponse truncated spline regression model for North Sumatra's inflation and GRDP. This study uses qualitative methods and uses secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sumatra. Selection of the best model is determined based on the optimal knot point using the minimum GCV value criteria. The research results obtained are the best spline model with 3 knot points with an MSE value of 1.6028 and a minimum GCV value of 0.0452. The value of response 1 is 14.64% and response 2 is 61.85%. This means that the ability of the predictor variable to explain the variance of the response variable is 14.64% and the remaining 61.85% is influenced by other factors.
