Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges that have long hindered the progress of traditional weaving tourism in Central Lombok Regency and unravel the role of innovation as a breakthrough and solution. The study's focus centered on the importance of innovation as a transformative factor for traditional weaving tourism within the framework of smart tourism in Lombok Tengah Regency. It is known that the distinctive traditional weaving of Lombok has a long history and is an integral part of local life and culture, passed down through generations. However, realistically, traditional weaving must contend with challenges such as the low prices of woven fabric products, the lack of interest among the younger generation to learn weaving, and the limited capacity of weavers to respond to local, domestic, and even global market demands. This study employs a qualitative-exploratory approach, with the research taking place in the villages of Rembitan and Sukarara in Lombok Tengah Regency. The study finds that the challenges faced by traditional weaving can only be overcome through innovation. Innovation has the ability to overcome various obstacles by developing products and creating new designs that align with tourists' interests, utilizing digital technology to market and sell traditional woven products, imparting new skills and techniques to weavers, and promoting traditional weaving as a cultural heritage through digital platforms. Innovation has successfully transformed the traditional weaving tourism industry, even though this transformation is still partial. The dodeca-helix approach within the Tourism Hub can synergize stakeholders to create innovation for transforming the industry despite challenges that must be overcome for this transformation to materialize. In the effort to change the traditional weaving tourism industry through innovation, it is recommended that the Government, private sector, and local community collaborate to address challenges and create innovations to guide the development of traditional weaving in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning activeness through the implementation of the cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade III students at SDN 186/I Sridadi. The research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 16 third-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the TGT model significantly increased student learning activeness. In Cycle I, student activeness was categorized as "low," with only 12.5% of students actively participating. After improvements were made in Cycle II, the number of active students increased to 87.5%, with overall activeness rated as "good." The TGT model, which integrates elements of games, teamwork, and competition, effectively created an engaging and collaborative learning environment that encouraged student participation. Thus, the TGT model proved effective as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance student engagement in IPAS lessons and other subjects at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the background of the community surrounding the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) in converting agricultural land and analyze the implications of this land use change on community welfare. The research approach used a quantitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with the community and related parties, and documentation from various relevant sources. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification to obtain accurate conclusions. The results show that agricultural land conversion by the community is influenced by various factors, including economic considerations, government policy encouragement related to tourism development, and the community's need to increase income and standard of living. Furthermore, the results revealed that land use change has a dual impact on community welfare. On the one hand, there is economic improvement through easier access to jobs and new business opportunities in the non-agricultural sector. However, on the other hand, social and cultural changes arise due to shifts in livelihoods, as well as threats to local food security. Overall, land use change in the Mandalika SEZ contributes to improving economic welfare, but poses challenges in terms of social and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an learning assistance program and increasing understanding of recitation in Ketapangkuning Village aims to improve the skills of reading the Al-Qur'an correctly according to recitation rules for children and TPQ teachers. Based on observations, a number of problems were found, including low understanding of Tajweed among students, lack of motivation to study religion, and limited understanding of Tajweed among some teachers. This program uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, involving teachers, students and guardians of students to work together to find solutions. Various approaches, such as training for teachers, interactive learning for santri, and outreach to santri guardians, are implemented to support sustainable learning. Program evaluation shows an increase in students' understanding of Tajwid through pre-test and post-test results, with the majority of students reaching the "capable" category after mentoring. This program also produces a guidebook "Let's Learn Tajwid" as a source of continuous learning. In conclusion, this program is effective in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an reading in Ketapangkuning Village, helping to maintain the accuracy of Al-Qur'an reading, and strengthening the tradition of reading the Al-Qur'an among the local community.

Abstract

Child marriage is a complex issue that remains prevalent in Indonesia, despite being regulated by Law No. 16 of 2019, which sets the minimum age for marriage at nineteen years. This phenomenon not only impacts children's fundamental rights, such as access to education and healthcare, but also has the potential to trigger long-term social, economic, and psychological issues. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the Religious Affairs Office fulfills its role in preventing child marriage, as well as to identify the challenges and strategies implemented within the social and cultural context of the local community. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Religious Affairs Office officials, religious leaders, village officials, and the community, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study show that the Religious Affairs Office has a strategic role in preventing child marriage, particularly through religious counseling and age verification of prospective brides and grooms. However, this role still faces significant obstacles, such as low public legal awareness, cultural and economic pressures, and the limited authority of the Religious Affairs Office to reject marriages that have obtained a dispensation from the court. However, the active involvement of the Office of Religious Affairs in collaborating with other agencies and community leaders has reduced the incidence of child marriage in recent years. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening the institutional capacity of the Office of Religious Affairs as the frontline in protecting children's rights.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease in Indonesia, with a high potential for outbreaks, particularly in tropical and densely populated regions such as Lubuklinggau City. This study aimed to assess the outbreak potential of DHF in Lubuklinggau by analyzing the five-year trend of minimum and maximum case numbers (2019–2023) and comparing them with 2024 data using the epidemic threshold approach. A descriptive ecological study design was employed, with all primary health centers (puskesmas) in the city as units of analysis. Data sources included annual DHF surveillance reports from the District Health Office, field observations, demographic data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), and rainfall distribution maps from the South Sumatra Meteorological Agency (BMKG). The findings revealed a significant increase in DHF cases in 2024, with a total of 284 cases and a monthly average of 23.67, exceeding the epidemic threshold of 16.85. Outbreak conditions were identified in six months: April, May, July, August, November, and December. Exceptionally high rainfall in November 2024 is suspected to have contributed to the spike in cases observed in December. The highest number of cases occurred in the service area of the Citra Medika Health Center, which has the second-highest population density in the city. The main risk factors identified included inadequate mosquito breeding site control (PSN) practices and limited laboratory diagnostic capacity. These results underscore the need to strengthen active surveillance at the primary healthcare level, implement widespread public education on the 3M Plus strategy, enhance community participation in larval monitoring and vector control activities, and improve laboratory capacity to support early diagnosis and effective outbreak response. Abstract

Abstract: Agricultural productivity depends on effective and efficient water resource management. However, one of the main problems faced by farmers in rural areas is the limited water resources management infrastructure, uneven water distribution, and the lack of understanding of farmers about efficient and environmentally friendly water use. Therefore, assistance was provided for follow-up activities for the development of water use management (PTGA), a program carried out by the Nusa Tenggara 1 River Basin Center. PTGA empowerment aims to provide an understanding to all related parties, especially farmers, about irrigation management as a unified system from the main network to the tertiary network supported by PTGA, irrigation management officers, and reliable irrigation commissions to realize efficient, effective, and sustainable irrigation network management. The method of this empowerment activity is the method of presenting material and question and answer and discussion sessions. From the empowerment activities carried out, several conclusions were found, namely (1) The Association of Water User Farmers in Sintung Village, Pringgarata District, Central Lombok Regency is still unfamiliar with Water Use Development, Water Resource Efficiency, and Agricultural Principles.(2) Technically operationally, the empowerment activities were quite successful and ran smoothly without any significant obstacle. Then the delivery of the material also went well and clearly, as did the discussion activities.

Abstract

Baby blues is an emotional disorder that often occurs in postpartum mothers and can affect the mother's health and the baby's growth and development. Maternal knowledge, social support and family support are thought to play a role in the incidence of baby blues. This research used a quantitative design with a cross sectional approach on 51 postpartum mothers in the Sugih Waras OKI Community Health Center working area in 2025 who were selected using a total sampling technique. Research instruments include questionnaires on maternal knowledge, social support, family support, and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test (α = 0.05). The prevalence of baby blues was 51.0% (26 respondents). The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between maternal knowledge and the incidence of baby blues (p = 0.706), while social support (p = 0.004) and family support (p = 0.003) were significantly related. Mothers with less social support and family support have a higher proportion of baby blues incidents. The prevalence of baby blues in the Sugih Waras OKI Community Health Center working area is relatively high, with social support and family support being significantly related, while maternal knowledge does not show a significant relationship

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease with high prevalence and contributes significantly to the burden of inpatient care in Indonesia. The severity of T2DM-related hospitalization as classified under the INA-CBGs system, is an important indicator for assessing disparities in access to care and the health system’s response to vulnerable populations. This study aims to analyze the relationship between socio-demographic characteristics and the severity of T2DM-related hospitalization visits based on 2023 Social Security Administering Body for Health (BPJS Health) data. This study employed a cross-sectional design using secondary data from the 2023 BPJS Health Sample Data. The unit of analysis was hospitalization visits. The study included inpatient hospitalization visits with a diagnosis of T2DM (ICD-10: E11). Univariate and bivariate methods were conducted, including chi-square tests and ordinal logistic regression was estimated using cluster-robust standard errors. Hospitalization severity was categorized based on the INACBGs classification (mild, moderate, severe). Among 431 T2DM-related hospitalization visits, age >45 years (OR = 2.17; p = 0.035), divorced status (OR = 2.33; p = 0.021), and lower middle socioeconomic status (OR = 1.54; p = 0.046) were significantly associated with higher INA-CBGs hospitalization severity. Gender, inpatient care class, and type of healthcare facility ownership were not statistically significantly associated with hospitalization severity. These findings highlight the importance of the health system's response to the social determinants reflected in INA-CBGs–based hospitalization severity among T2DM-related visits. Targeted and multisectoral interventions are needed to reduce disparities and improve service quality for socially vulnerable groups.
