Abstract

Tantangan pada pembelajaran matematika yaitu berupa rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep serta self-efficacy siswa terutama pada topik teorema phytagoras yang membutuhkan representasi dan penalaran matematika. Meskipun PBL berbantuan E-LKPD (Elektronik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) kontektual diyakini dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang autentik studi empiris yang memasukan varibel self-efficacy dalam menelaah capaian pemahaman konsep masih jarang dilakukan. penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengeksplor kemampuan pemahaman matematika ditinjau dari tingkat self-efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui PBL berbantuan E-LKPD (Elektronik Lembar Kerja Pesrta Didik) Kontektual, metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data angket, tes pemahaman konsep, dan wawancara untuk memperdalam temuan penelitian, hasilnya menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang jelas dalam capaian pemahaman konsep antar kategori self-efficacy, Dimana kelompok dengan self-efficacy tinggi memperlihatkan penguasaan konsep yang lebih baik dan konsisten dibandingkan dengan kelompok self-efficacy sedang maupun rendah, data wawancara menunjukan siswa dengan self-efficacy tinggi mampu menjelaskan serta menerapkan konsep, siswa dengan self-efficacy sedang memerlukan contoh sebagai panduan kemudian  siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah tergantung pada petunjuk E-LKPD. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa implementasi PBL berbantuan E-LKPD kontekstual dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru untuk memperkuat kemandirian belajar sekaligus mendorong peningkatan self-efficacy siswa pada pembelajaran matematika

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis dengan motivasi belajar merupakan dua fondasi esensial dalam mendalami konsep matematika secara menyeluruh, dan keduanya dapat diperkuat melalui integrasi Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) yang menjembatani pengetahuan akademik dengan pengalaman budaya siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis proses dan dampak integrasi CRT berbantuan komik matematika dalam membangun motivasi belajar serta kemampuan siswa dalam representasi matematis pada materi garis dan sudut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek 17 siswa kelas VIII MTs N 8 Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, tes kemampuan representasi, dan angket respon siswa. Aanalisis data meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi soal tes dan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa integrasi CRT berbantuan komik matematika mampu menciptakan proses dan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual lebih tinggi, sehingga motivasi belajar siswa serta kemampuan representasi matematis mereka pada materi garis dan sudut berhasil terbangun secara nyata. Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan hasil bahwa motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi (rerata 4,24), dengan aspek semangat belajar memperoleh skor tertinggi (4,47). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan komik berbasis kultur tidak hanya membangun motivasi, tetapi juga memfasilitasi perkembangan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Adolescent girls are at high risk of anemia caused by iron deficiency. Anemia is a condition characterized by a deficiency of hemoglobin or red blood cells that falls below normal levels. Consumption of iron-rich foods can prevent anemia. Moringa leaves are a superfood with an iron content of 28.2 milligrams. Macarons are cookies made from almond flour and egg whites. Substituting moringa flour in macarons is expected to increase their iron content.Objectives: This study aims to analyze the proximate composition, iron content, and acceptability of macarons substituted with brown rice flour and moringa flour.Methods: R&D research was conducted to test the proximate composition and iron content. The macarons tested were F0 (0% red rice flour, 0% moringa flour), F1 (60% red rice flour, 0% moringa flour), and F2 (60% red rice flour, 3% moringa flour). Statistical analysis was performed using One-Way ANOVA and Tukey HSD post-hoc tests.Results: The nutritional composition of macarons with 60% red rice flour and 3% moringa flour substituted per 100 g consists of 3,28±0.11 g water, 1,58±0.28 g ash, 19,56±0.00 g fat, 18,21±0.54 g protein, 70,61±0.71 g carbohydrates, and 11.49±0.05 mg iron. The iron content of macarons per serving (45 grams) can meet 34,47% of the iron requirement for adolescents, thereby classifying these macarons as iron-rich food. The hedonic test results showed that macarons with a substitution of 60% red rice flour and 3% moringa flour were preferred by adolescents and significantly different from the reference product.Conclusions: Macarons with a substitution of 60% red rice flour and 3% moringa flour are categorized as iron-rich cookies because they can meet 34,47% of the iron requirement for adolescents, making them a potential functional food for preventing anemia in adolescents. KEYWORD: macaron; red rice flour; moringa flour; iron; adolescents

Abstract

This study examines how three-dimensional geometric concepts are applied in the daily lives of the residents of Kampung Kuta, a traditional settlement in Karangpaningal Village, Tambaksari District, Ciamis Regency. The research employs an ethnographic approach to ethnomathematics to explore the relationship between local culture and mathematical knowledge. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with residents, and the documentation of various related records. The findings reveal that various community activities, including the process of designing and constructing traditional houses and crafting tools, are rich in the application of spatial geometry principles. For instance, the distinctive roof shapes of stilt houses and the use of natural materials demonstrate a profound understanding of three-dimensional geometric concepts. This study reinforces the view that integrating local cultural elements into mathematics education can serve as an effective alternative for learning geometry in a more meaningful and contextualized manner.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ thinking processes in solving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) problems in terms of metacognitive levels among students of class XII MIPA 4 at SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were 27 students classified into three metacognitive levels (high, moderate, and low) based on a metacognitive questionnaire. Five students were selected as research subjects: one with high metacognition, two with moderate, and two with low. Data were collected through HOTS written tests, a metacognitive questionnaire, and unstructured interviews, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students with high metacognitive levels performed systematic higher-order thinking through planning, monitoring, and evaluation stages. Students with moderate levels were able to solve problems procedurally but showed limited monitoring and evaluation. Students with low levels experienced difficulties in planning, monitoring, and evaluating their problem-solving processes. In conclusion, metacognitive level influences the quality of students’ thinking processes in solving HOTS problems and highlights the importance of developing metacognitive skills in mathematics learning
