Abstract

Ikan Cakalang yang ditemukan di pantai Puger ini memiliki ukuran yang beragam. Nama ilmiah disebut dengan (Katsuwonus pelamis) diambil dari bahasa Jepang yang artinya ikan keras. Umumnya ikan cakalang termasuk  ikan perenang cepat dan mempunyai sifat rakus dalam mencari makan. Ikan cakalang ini mencari makan berdasarkan penglihatan dan rakus terhadap mangsanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebiasaan makan ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) berbagai ukuran yang didaratkan di perairan pantai Puger, Kabupaten Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode frekuensi kejadian. Sampel ikan sebanyak 107 ekor diambil pada tanggal 31 Oktober – 1 Desember 2018. Pengambilan data ikan dilaksanakan di lapangan dengan mengukur berat dan panjang total ikan. Pengamatan lambung ikan dilakukan dengan cara membedah tubuh ikan dan dianalisis komposisi yang terdapat pada lambung ikan cakalang. Dengan menggunakan metode frekuensi kejadian tiap isi yang terdapat pada lambung ikan dicacat dan dinyatakan dalam persen. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan dari 107 ekor ikan cakalang yang diamati diketahui distribusi panjang dan berat berkisar 51-92 cm dan kisaran berat 4700-7200 gram. Sedangkan isi yang terdapat pada lambung ikan cakalang adalah ikan,cumi dan udang. Hasil dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan dapat dijelaskan bahwa organisme ikan yang komposisinya paling banyak dengan nilai persentase pada tanggal 31 bulan oktober sebesar 74%, tanggal 7 bulan November 85%, tanggal 13 bulan November sebesar 91%, tanggal 19 bulan November sebesar 87%, tanggal 25 bulan November sebesar 83% dan tanggal 1 Desember nilai persentase 89%. Ikan cakalang yang terdapat di Pantai puger memiliki petrumbuhan yang bersifat alometrik negatif dengan nilai b sebesar -1,2113 dan a sebesar 0,7585 sehingga diketahui pertumbuhan panjang tubuh ikan lebih cepat dari pertumbuhan berat ikan. Skipjack found on Puger beach have a variety of sizes. The scientific name of it ca lled (Katsuwonus pelamis), it is taken from Japanese which means hard fish. Generally, skipjack is also be included as fast swimmer fish and it has a greedy nature in foraging. This skipjack look for the meal is based on vision and they are greedy for their prey. This study aims to determine the eating habits of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) of various sizes that are landed in the coastal waters of Puger, Jember Regency. The method used in this study is the method of frequency of events. There are 107 fish samples that were taken on 31 October - 1 December 2018. The taking of the data was carried out in the field by measuring the total weight and length of the fish. Observation of fish stomach was done by dissecting the body of the fish and analyzing the composition contained in the stomach of skipjack. Using the method of frequency of occurrence, each content contained in the fish stomach is deformed and expressed in percent. The results of the study showed that 107 of the skipjack that is observed, were known to have a long distribution and weight ranging from 51-92 cm and a weight range of 4700-7200 grams. While the contents contained in the stomach of skipjack are fish, squid and shrimp. The results of the calculations that have been made can be explained that the fish organisms whose composition is the most with a percentage value on October 31 of 74%, November 7, 85%, November 13 of 91%, November 19 of 87%, the 25th of November is 83% and December 1 is a percentage of 89%. The skipjack found in the puger beach has plants that are negative allometric with a value of b of -1.2113 and a of 0.7585 so it is known that the growth of fish body length is faster than the growth of fish weight.

Abstract

Turtle is an organism that spends his life at sea and be able to migrate long distances along the Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Southeast Asia. The presence of turtles in Indonesia are increasingly threatened with extinction, both natural and human activities that lead to the existence of the endangered sea turtles. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving different feed concentrations on the growth of hatcling olive ridley turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) The age of 2 weeks during the treatment period of 10 weeks. Data is collected from 21 August to 30 October 2010 using the experimental method. The study was conducted at Samas beach Yogyakarta. Feed given in the form of shrimp ebi 3% and 8% of the weight of biomass. The number of hatchlings that are used are 12 tails that are placed in six containers. Measurement of growth of weight, length and width of hatchlings carried out once every 2 weeks for 10 weeks of observation. The results of the study indicate that the hatchlings fed shrimp ebi with a concentration of 3% have a specific growth rate on average 0366 ± 0008 is smaller than hatchlings fed with a concentration of 8% on average 0425 ± 0006. The results of data analysis using the specific growth rate of the test statistic t with feeding treatment with different concentrations showed that the sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 or p <0.05. So it can be proved that the specific growth rate in both treatments were significantly different.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) merupakan salah satu produk perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui variasi panjang, lebar dan berat rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) di Perairan Sambiroto pati dan Mengetahui rasio jantan betina rajungan yang tertangkap di Perairan Sambiroto Pati. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-November 2018 di Perairan Sambiroto, Pati. Pengambilan data rajungan meliputi data lebar dan berat rajungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 744 ekor rajungan yang diamati diketahui variasi ukuran rajungan yang tertangkap baik jantan dan betina yang berukuran lebar > 120 mm sebanyak 68,52% dari jumlah seluruhnya yang tertangkap. Rajungan yang tertangkap di Sambiroto memiliki pertumbuhan yang bersifat allometrik negatif dengan nilai b sebesar 2,21 pada rajungan jantan dan 1,17 pada rajungan betina. Sehingga diketahui pertumbuhan lebar lebih cepat daripada pertumbuhan berat rajungan  ABSTRACT : Swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) is a fishery product that has high economic value. The purpose of this study is to determine the variation in length, width and weight of crabs (Portunus pelagicus) in Sambiroto starch waters and to determine the ratio of crab females that are caught in Sambiroto Pati waters. This research was conducted in October-November 2018 in Sambiroto Waters, Pati. The crab retrieval data includes the crab width and weight data. The results of this study showed that 744 small crabs observed sizes variations of small crab caught both males and females with width> 120 mm totaling 68.52% of the total number caught. The crabs caught in Sambiroto have negative allometric growth with a b value of 2.21 in male crabs and 1.17 in female crabs. So it is known that the width growth is faster than the crab weight growth.

Abstract

Perairan laut di kabupaten Rembang mempunyai kekayaan sumberdaya jenis ikan dengan hasil tangkapan yang dominan dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil tangkap Ikan Kembung yang di daratkan di TPI oleh nelayan yang melakukan penangkapannya di sekitar perairan Rembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi isi lambung Ikan Kembung Lelaki (Rastrelliger kanagurta) yang terdapat di TPI Tasik Agung Rembang, melalui hubungan panjang berat, analisis makanan dan identifikasi jenis makanannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, dimana pengambilan sampling berdasarkan metode pertimbangan (purposive sampling method),dan pengambilan data dengan menggunakan sample survey method. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April – Mei 2013 di TPI Tasik Agung Rembang. Materi yang digunakan adalah 83 sampel ikan kembung jantan. Sampling Ikan Kembung Lelaki (Rastrelliger kanagurta) dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali yaitu tanggal 13 April, 27 April, 11 Mei dan 25 Mei 2013. Analisis data berupa analisis hubungan panjang dan berat,analisis makanan dan identifikasi jenis makanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan ikan kembung pada bulan April bersifat allometrik negatif yang memiliki nilai slope (b) pada sampling I sebesar 2,966 dan sampling II sebesar 2,985, dan pada bulan Mei bersifat allometrik positif yang memiliki nilai slope (b) sebesar 3,251 dan sampling IV sebesar 3,35. Jenis makanan yang paling banyak ditemukan jenis Paracalanus yaitu 70,85%. Bedasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ikan Kembung Lelaki (Rastrelliger kanagurta) yang didaratkan di pengepul ikan daerah Rembang merupakan ikan omnivora yang memanfaatkan fitoplankton, zooplankton, sebagai sumber makanan.

Abstract

Manyung fish (Arius thalassinus) is one of the bottom fish (demersal), which has significant economic potential. One of the measures that can be done to preserve the habitat of fish manyung is a rational exploitation. Information on the biological aspects can be provide additional information on the food and feeding habits and the condition of fish manyung morphometry, to gain a better understanding on the survival and growth of fish. The study was conducted to examine the contents of the stomach and the type of food eaten and the condition of morphometry of manyung fish were caught from the waters around Semarang, manyung fish samples obtained from collectors of Semarang in the krobokan. Manyung fish samples taken on July, August, September and October 2011, with total sample of 50 fish. Retrieval of data in this study conducted in the field and in the laboratory by measuring the weight, total length of fish, fish food organisms manyung frequency, and calculate the volume food organisms of fish manyung. Manyung major food fish (Arius thalassinus) by his preponderance index is a kind of fish with a value of 28.7%. Base of composition of stomach contents, types of mouth (sub terminal), the presence of tentacle, and the length of intestines (1,7-2 times length of the body ) can be concluded manyung fish (Arius thalassinus) is omnivores which tend to be carnivores. The results of 50 samples Manyung fish (Arius thalassinus) gained the most long range artifacts in the interval 55-61 cm (23 fish), weight range for most numerous in the interval 1.6 to 2.7 kg (30 fish).

Abstract

All sorts of turtle have registered in the list of Apendik I CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Spesies). The convention forbid the international trade of all products/result of turtle: neither the egg, meat or caravas.The purpose of this research is to know the nesting of Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) reviewed from the physical aspect and biology of Pangumbahan Beach, Sukabumi , West Java. The research was did on January 5th-7th 2011. The method that used is Descriptive Exploratory Method. The research material that used is Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas), the nesting of turtle that include the outside vegetation, predator, the long and wide of beach, the temperature, the slope of beach, the moisture of substrate, and the composition of sand. There is 6 station based on Association of The Green Turtle Cultivation. Data collection was did by direct observation in locates. Based on the research result, the Green turtle (Chelonia mydas) in Pangumbahan Beach achieve 19. The width of Pangumbahan Beach is about 72 - 92 m and the length is about 3000 m. The slope of the beach is about 2.4% - 2.8%. The measured result of the sand temperature is about 28 ËšC - 29.3 ËšC. The composition moisture of surface sediments is about 0.05% - 1.13%, and the moisture inside sediments (50cm) about 0.26% - 4.1%. The sand particle of Pangumbahan Beach is dominated by the medium sand with percentage in each more than 25%. The vegetation that dominate is Pandanus (Pandanus tectorius), meanwhile kind of predators that find in the locate are Wild Dogs (Canis lupus), Red Ants (Oechophylla smaragdina), Crab (Ocypoda sp).

Abstract

Seagrass ecosystem of high organic productivity, with a high diversity of biota. On these ecosystems, diverse marine life such as fish juvenile, crustaceans, mollusks (Pinna sp, Lambis sp, Strombus sp), echinoderms (Holothuria sp, sp Synapta, Diadema sp, Arcbaster sp, Linckia sp) and worms (Polichaeta) (Bengen, 2001). The research was conducted at 10 stations. Sampling was conducted two times each observation station parallel to the shoreline and perpendicular to the shoreline using a small beam trawl. The results showed that the juvenile was found 27 species from 14 family. abundance average - average is 0.484 ind/m2 juvenile fish and the highest abundance at station 9 with the abundance of juvenile fish reaching ind/m2 1.40 and the lowest abundance found at station 3 and station 10 to the abundance of only 0.04 ind/m2 . The pattern of distribution of juvenile fish species tend to be random this is because in each station has similar characteristics.

Abstract

Perairan Pati mempunyai kekayaan sumberdaya jenis ikan yang beragam jenisnya. Salah satu hasil tangkapannya adalah Ikan Buntal Pisang (Tetraodon lunaris). Ikan Buntal Pisang memiliki bentuk badan membulat dan ukuran mulut yang kecil dengan moncongnya yang tumpul dan memiliki racun yang disebut tetrodotoksin (TTX). Namun Ikan Buntal Pisang memiliki kandungan gizi yang cukup tinggi dan sebagian masyarakat Pati mengolah ikan ini menjadi ikan asin. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil tangkapan Ikan Buntal Pisang yang didaratkan di PPI Banyutowo oleh nelayan yang melakukan penangkapan di perairan Pati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai hubungan panjang berat Ikan Buntal Pisang yang berada di perairan Pati. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, dimana pengambilan sampling berdasarkan metode pertimbangan (purposive sampling method). Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Februari – April 2016 di PPI Banyutowo. Materi yang digunakan adalah 360 sampel Ikan Buntal Pisang. Sampling Ikan Buntal Pisang dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali yaitu 13 Februari, 12 Maret, dan 9 April 2016. Analisa data berupa analisis hubungan panjang berat Ikan Buntal Pisang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pertumbuhan Ikan Buntal Pisang pada bulan Februari – April 2015 bersifat allometrik positif yang memiliki nilai slope (b) sebesar 3,30. Pati waters has a rich variety of fish species. One of the catches is Green Rough-Backed Puffer (Tetraodon lunaris). Green Rough-Backed Puffer  have a rounded body shape and small mouth size with a blunt snout and a poison called tetrodotoxin (TTX). But this fish has a high nutritional content and some Pati people process this fish into salted fish. This research is based on the catch of Green Rough-Backed Puffer landed in PPI Banyutowo by fishermen who make arrests in the waters of Pati. This study aims to determine the value of the long weight relationship of Green Rough-Backed Puffer in the waters of Pati. This research was conducted with descriptive research method, where sampling was taken based on the method of consideration purposive sampling method. The study was conducted in February - April 2016 at PPI Banyutowo. The material used was 360 samples of Green Rough-Backed Puffer. Sampling of Green Rough-Backed Puffer was carried out 3 times, namely February 13, March 12, and April 9, 2016. Analysis of the data was in the form of an analysis of the long weight relationship of Green Rough-Backed Puffer. The results showed that the growth of Green Rough-Backed Puffer in February - April 2015 was positive allometric which had a slope value (b) of 3,30.

Abstract

Ikan Cakalang yang ditemukan di PPN Prigi memiliki ukuran yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebiasaan makan (food habit) ikan Cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) berbagai ukuran yang didaratkan di perairan pantai Prigi, Kabupaten Trenggalek . Sebanyak 68 ekor sampel ikan Cakalang diambil pada bulan September – November 2013 dari pengepul di pantai Prigi, untuk selanjutnya di lakukan pengukuran panjang total, berat tubuh dan analisis hubungan panjang-berat serta analisis isi lambung dengan metode frekuensi kejadian, metode volumetrik dan indeks preponderance. Data yang telah dihitung antara hubungan panjang total ikan dengan berat tubuh semua ikan Cakalang bersifat allometrik negatif dengan nilai b sebesar 2,824. Hasil yang telah didapatkan dari semua perhitungan indeks preponderance organisme ikan yang bernilai sebesar 63,78%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan indeks preponderance yang didapatkan, ikan merupakan makanan utama bagi ikan Cakalang di wilayah Prigi dengan jumlah total sampel lambung berisi sebanyak 37 lambung. Dari 68 sampel ikan Cakalang yang diperoleh dari wilayah Prigi kisaran panjang total ikan Cakalang yaitu 20 cm - 60,5 cm dengan kisaran berat ikan 250 gram - 4200 gram.

Perairan Pulau Koon terletak di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Timur dan merupakan wilayah konservasi di Indonesia Timur yang telah ditetapkan sejak tahun 2011. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis ikan karang yang tertangkap oleh nelayan dan mengetahui kondisi kematangan gonad ikan karang pada bulan Februari di sekitar kawasan perairan Pulau Koon. Analsis data yang digunakan tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG) berdasarkan Holden dan Raitt (1974), nilai Gonado Somatic Index (GSI) dan Gonado Index (GI). Hasil penelitian mendapatkan sampel ikan sebanyak 60 ekor tersusun atas 4 famili yang terdiri dari 6 genus dan 13 species (Cephalopholis cyanostigma, Cephalopholis urodeta, Epinephelus polyhekadion, Epinephelus bleekeri, Lethrinus ornatus, Lutjanus bohar, Lutjanus ehrengergi, Lutjanus monostigma, Lutjanus gibbus, Lutjanus sebae, Plectorhinchus lineatus, Plectorhincus multivittatus dan Pristopomoides multidens). Berdasarkan data TKG diduga pada bulan Februari merupakan masa reproduksi aktif untuk 11 spesies ikan Cephalopholis cyanostigma, Epinephelus polyhekadion, Lethrinus ornatus, Lutjanus bohar, Lutjanus ehrengergi, Lutjanus monostigma, Lutjanus gibbus, Lutjanus sebae, Plectorhinchus lineatus, Plectorhincus multivittatus dan Pristopomoides multidens.
