Abstract

Nowadays, Corona Virus (Covid-19) affects the inside of fundamental aspects of society. An effort to preventing the pandemic undertaken by all societies. For instance, social and physical distancing, wearing a masker, hand washing is the most important action to prevent viruses. A massive campaign to prevent COVID-19 intensively expressed by the public, instead of affected by the prevention of act is the religious issues, logic, and science. One obvious example is the prohibition on the use of places of worship, except Mall, public shopping is open. The case that occurs in Indonesia caused a social dilemma in Moslems or other believers in contrast to the government policies. Campaign to the Covid-19 prevention led by the government to present an imbalance between policies and public rules. This research tries to examine the theory by which two concepts which is logic opportunity structure and mass structure mobilization proposed by Thomas Kuhn. Therefore, the model of social mobilization and government policies is an object to get the proper description to results in an obvious solution.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran problem posing ditinjau berdasarkan kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) siswa. Data KAM pada tulisan ini adalah nilai ulangan harian siswa pada pokok bahasan sebelumnya yang kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi kategori Tinggi, Sedang, dan Rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, Uji t, Uji t’, Uji Mann Whitney, serta Uji Anova Satu Jalur dan Uji Kruskal Wallis. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,48 sedangkan rata-rata NGain kelas kontrol 0,18. Selanjutnya rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen kelompok KAM tinggi 0,56; kelompok KAM sedang 0,45; kelompok KAM rendah 0,49. Sedangkan rata-rata N-Gain kelas kontrol kelompok KAM tinggi 0,11; kelompok KAM sedang 0,21; kelompok KAM rendah 0,13. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa apabila ditinjau secara keseluruhan, peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran problem posing lebih baik daripada peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional. Selanjutnya apabila ditinjau berdasarkan kategori KAM tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis baik itu pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran problem posing maupun pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional. Akan tetapi pada kategori KAM tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran problem posing lebih baik daripada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah dan menganalsis peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan worked example . Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pre-eksperimen dengan one group pretest postest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP kelas VIII-J SMP Negeri 1 Jalaksana. Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa diperoleh dari nilai n-gain. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, dan uji t satu sampel. Dari data hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,73. Berdasarkan analsis data yang dilakukan diperoleh dan Karena kriteria tidak terpenuhi tetapi nilai t berada pada daerah penerimaan , maka diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan worked example berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh disposisi matematis terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan apabila ada, berapa eratnya pengaruh serta berarti atau tidaknya pengaruh itu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu isntrumen angket. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat 3 faktor yakni faktor 1, faktor 2, dan faktor 3. Faktor yang lebih dominan dari semua faktor yaitu faktor 1 sebesar 31,914%, faktor 2 sebesar 16,175%, faktor 3 sebesar 59,564%, dan total keseluruhan faktor sebesar 91,379%. Maka didapat faktor yang lebih dominan dalam proses belajar matematika di SMPN 2 Jember yaitu faktor 1, yang memiliki variansi paling besar dibandingkan faktor yang lainnya.This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of mathematical disposition on student learning outcomes and, if there is, how strong the influence is and whether or not the influence is significant. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire instrument. From the research results, it is known that there are 3 factors, namely factor 1, factor 2, and factor 3. The factor that is more dominant than all factors is factor 1 at 31.914%, factor 2 at 16.175%, factor 3 at 59.564%, and the total factor is 91.379 %. So it was found that the more dominant factor in the mathematics learning process at SMPN 2 Jember was factor 1, which had the greatest variance compared to the other factors.

Abstract

This following study is an effort to discover students preferences toward pronunciation practice class. The method used was survey method. The sample of this research was the second semester students of English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. The data was gathered through questionnaire administered online. Having analyzed the questionnaire, there are three important findings. The first one dealing with students opinion related to the materials given in pronunciation classroom. It was discovered that almost all of the students are in the positive side dealing with the issue. The pronunciation materials that the students agree to be maintained are focusing on segmental and suprasegmental of pronunciation. The second findings related to the students opinion about pronunciation teaching and learning process. It was found out that the students prefer to learn pronunciation material through real practice activities; such as reading aloud, listening English songs, watching English videos and interacting with native speakers. The final point addressed students preferences toward pronunciation materials. The materials that have been discussed so far are the materials that they like and meet their need. The materials are related with vowels, consonants, diphthongs, lingking sounds, intonation, and stress. There is also interesting finding related to the materials that the students want to learn. English around the world, pronuncing English slang and online application for learning pronunciation are three novel materials that students want to study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan Peran Pondok Pesantren Sunan Giri dalam Pendidikan Toleransi antar Umat Beragama di Kelurahan Ledok Kecamatan Argomulyo Kota Salatiga. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan merupakan penelitian studi kasus, yakni model penelitian kualitatif yang terperinci tentang individu atau unit sosial tertentu dalam kurun waktu tertentu. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Pengasuh, Guru, Pengurus, Santri dan Masyarakat sekitar Pondok Pesantren Sunan Giri. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan, wawancara dan penelaahan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama Pondok Pesantren Sunan Giri memberikan pendidikan toleransi melalui materi yang diberikan dalam kajian ilmu baik dalam pengajian kitab kuning ataupun majlis taklim. Pendidikan toleransi juga didapatkan melalui sikap pengasuh dan guru sebagai contoh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan juga didapatkan melalui arahan pengurus kepada santri serta melalui kegiatan yang ada di pesantren. Kedua Cara pengasuh dan guru dalam memberikan pendidikan toleransi adalah dengan menjelaskan materi yang berhubungan dengan nilai-nilai toleransi secara jelas dengan digambarkan kehidupan masyarakat sekitar yang berbeda-beda keyakinanya. Pengasuh juga menyuruh santri untuk mengikuti kegiatan diskusi, seminar dan juga forum antar umat beragama. Ketiga Memberikan pendidikan toleransi umat beragama yang dilakukan oleh pondok pesantren Sunan Giri diatas antara lain bertujuan agar supaya santri dan juga masyarakat sekitar dapat memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai toleransi. Hidup dengan selalu mengamalkan nilai-nilai toleransi diharapakan seseorang menjadi manusia yang selalu berbuat baik dengan siapapun, menghargai segala perbedaan, sehingga hubungan antar manusia khususnya antar umat beragama dapat terjalin dengan baik dan harmonis. Keempat Pondok pesantren Sunan Giri memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan toleransi beragama melalui kajian ilmu yang diadakan di pesantren tersebut. Peran pondok pesantren Sunan Giri dalam pendidikan toleransi beragama juga diberikan melalui sikap para pengasuh, guru dan juga santri-santrinya.

Abstract

The Funeral Care Training in Ciampea Village aims to enhance the community's skills in handling the deceased in accordance with Islamic law and health protocols. This program focuses on improving the understanding and practical skills related to the proper procedures of funeral care, including washing the body, using the shroud, performing the funeral prayer, and proper burial. Additionally, this training seeks to strengthen the community's adherence to religious teachings and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining public health during the funeral process. The training results show a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, reflected in more accurate funeral care practices that align with Islamic law. Participants also actively disseminate the knowledge they gained to the community through lectures, teaching at religious schools, and social media. This program not only improves the quality of funeral care but also strengthens mutual respect and enhances health awareness within the community. Thus, this training contributes to creating a more respectful, healthy, and Islamically compliant funeral process

Abstract

Teaching skills are one of the key indicators of pedagogical and professional competencies that pre-service teachers must possess. These skills include not only the ability to deliver subject matter but also the ability to manage learning activities, which consist of pre-activity, whilst-activity, and post-activity. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of microteaching learning in enhancing pre-service teachers' competencies. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that microteaching learning conducted over one semester provides adequate theoretical and practical preparation for pre-service teachers to undertake School Field Practice (PLP) 2. Students were able to design and implement lessons aligned with the applicable curriculum and effectively utilize appropriate teaching models and media. However, challenges remain in the development and implementation of lesson plans. Therefore, more intensive guidance from lecturers and mentor teachers is necessary to ensure that pre-service teachers are adequately prepared to teach effectively.

Abstract

Based on research in ASIA, Indonesia is still in the lowest position in the term of literacy. Moreover, the students’ interest of using and exploring conventional teaching materials is also still low. One of the materials given in every level of education now is PLH or Environment Education. The government concerns about environment education should be supported by the availability of appropriate and interactive teaching media. Therefore, this study aims to develop and produce digital teaching media for the subject under the topic of environment pollution as well as improving students’ literacy and understanding of the subject material in PLH subject. The research employed research and development design started with analysis process, designing process, development process, implementation and evaluation process. The result of the research is E-Magazine as one of the Learning resources that contain learning materials that are displayed attractively with more interesting features such as images, videos, and interesting display. The result of the product’s implementation shows that the students’ digital literacy of environmental pollution is increased by the score of 82,11%. Based on results analysis of the students’ understanding of the environmental pollution for the subject, the N-gain score was 0,83 and it was higher than 0,70 as the standard for high level effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically test the effect of profitability on firm value through dividend policy as an intervening variable in raw material sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2023. The study was conducted because there was a business phenomenon in the research topic, inconsistency of empirical data calculation results with theoretical studies, and inconsistency of previous studies that caused a research gap. The research topic is Firm Value which reflects the present value of expected future income. The dividend policy variable is proxied using the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), and Firm Value using Price to Book Value (PBV). This research is a type of quantitative research with data collection techniques using documentation techniques derived from the company's financial statements. The research population is a raw material industry sector company with a research period of 11 years. The data analysis technique used in the study is Panel Data Regression and Sobel Test using the Eviews version 12 application with the processed data in the form of panel data. The study shows that profitability does not have a significant effect on firm value, but dividend policy has a negative and significant effect on firm value. The dividend policy variable has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Then, dividend policy is able to mediate the influence of profitability on company value.
