Abstract

Coffee shops are today's businesses with good and competitive prospects in providing customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the relationship between service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty, the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, and the relationship between product and service quality and customer loyalty mediated by customer satisfaction. The study was conducted using quantitative methods, sampling a questionnaire to 100 customers of Coffee Shop. The study was conducted in August 2021. Meanwhile, to analyze the relationship between variables, using partial least squares (PLS). Based on the study results, it can be concluded that service quality directly affects customers, especially customer satisfaction. Product quality also affects customer satisfaction and loyalty and vice versa. However, service quality did not directly affect customer loyalty. Meanwhile, mediation through customer satisfaction and product quality indirectly affects customer loyalty.

Abstract

MSMEs are a vital pillar of the Indonesian economy, yet many still face challenges in financial management. One common challenge is manual record-keeping, which is prone to errors and takes a long time. This reserach aims to analyze the implementation of the cloud-based accounting application Kledo at the Mahadi Konveksi MSME in Blitar, specifically in calculating job order costing. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case reserach approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of financial reports for the January–June 2023 period. The results show that implementing Kledo provides several tangible benefits for Mahadi Konveksi. The transaction recording process is faster and more organized, while the calculation of job order cost is more accurate than manual methods. Furthermore, the resulting financial reports are more transparent and easier to understand, allowing them to be used directly as a basis for business decision-making. However, challenges were still encountered in the initial stages, such as employee adaptation to the new system and dependence on the internet network. These challenges are temporary and can be overcome through training and infrastructure improvements. Overall, this reserach confirms that the Kledo application can be a practical solution to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism of MSME financial management.

Abstract

Yard-long bean production in Indonesia has declined due to environmental factors and pest infestations, particularly by Aphis craccivora, a vector of viruses such as Bean common mosaic virus (BCMV). Generally, A. craccivora has been controlled using insecticides; however, their use poses limitations including toxicity, the development of resistance, environmental concerns, and disruption of pest–predator dynamics due to excessive application. As a promising alternative, chitosan has demonstrated potential in inhibiting aphid feeding, reducing reproduction rates, delaying disease incubation periods, and lowering BCMV titres. This study assessed the effects of both pure and commercial chitosan on A. craccivora in yard-long beans. The evaluation focused on antixenosis, antibiosis, and insecticidal properties. The results showed that chitosan significantly reduced aphid colonisation and feeding preference, lowered infestation intensity, and enhanced natural predation. Furthermore, chitosan treatments suppressed aphid reproduction, prolonged the aphid life cycle, and decreased their growth rate. The direct spray method was found to be more effective than the systemic application. Among the treatments, KK 0.9 consistently produced the most favourable outcomes across all parameters, indicating its potential as an effective bio-insecticidal agent for pest and disease management in yard-long bean cultivation.

Abstract

This literature study is explore and compare of Islamic scholar’s thought in contemporary era: Baqr al Sadr, Muhammad Abdul Mannan, Muhammad Nejatullah Siddiqi, Sayyed Haidar Naqf, Taqiyyuddin An Nabhanni, and Monzer Kahf. Islamic scholars are divided into three categories; frstly, an expert in the Islamic law (fqh) that is conducted in a legalistic and normative; secondly, more daring modernist group in their interpretation of Islamic teachings in order to answer the issues facing society today; thirdly practitioners or Muslim economists educational background in the West. They combine both Islamic law and economic approach that is integrated to be Islamic economy. In fact, the construction of an Islamic economy system capable of delivering on welfare and social justice must be built on the basis of faith (akidah) and described in great detail the concepts of ownership, the role of the state, and distribution, including production and consumption. Even distribution of income in society into the most important thing in the construction of an Islamic economy system, but all of it was related to other elements. Therefore, the construction of an Islamic economy system can not stand alone, but must be integrated and connected with other elements. Keywords: Islamic economy, Islamic scholars, Contemporary

Abstract

Aphid-borne viral infection is a major limiting factor for groundnut production in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The study aimed to elucidate the effectiveness of integrated management packages (IMP) in controlling aphid-borne viruses infecting groundnut in the field. Field trials were conducted in a plot without (M0) and with plastic mulch and maize as a plant barrier (M1), while two different groundnut varieties, Bougainvillea leaf extract, and insecticides were incorporated as the subplot treatments. The treatments in M1 plot significantly reduced the aphid population (17.4–79.9%) and AUDPC incidence (51.7–87.3%), and severity (61.0–92.9%), respectively. The treatments increased dry pod production by 11.9–63.3% depending on subplot treatment compared to treatments in the M0 plot (p>0.05). Bean common mosaic virus strain PSt and Cowpea Polerovirus 2 were positively detected in groundnuts as well as in aphids using RT-PCR. Further, nine weed species in the vicinity of the field trial were found to be positively infected with BCMV-PSt, indicating their crucial role as reservoir hosts. Interestingly, the effectiveness of Bougainvillea leaf extract treatment in the M1 plot was comparable to that of the insecticide treatment, indicating that this IMP is a more cost-effective, eco-friendly groundnut virus control than the currently used method.
