Abstract

This study aims to reveal the forms of love and sacrifice found in Fredy S.’s novel Kembali ke Pelukan Cinta based on Erich Fromm’s concept of love. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literary psychology approach. The data consist of textual excerpts, sentences, and dialogues in the novel that represent Fromm’s five objects of love: brotherly love, motherly love, erotic love, self-love, and love of God. The results show that the novel portrays love in various dimensions of humanity accompanied by sacrifice as a logical consequence of love itself. Brotherly love appears in the friendships between characters; motherly love is shown through the parents’ care for their children; erotic love is depicted through the relationship between Rosana and Herman; self-love is seen in the characters’ efforts to accept themselves and their past; while love of God emerges from the characters’ religious awareness of divine power. Each form of love is always accompanied by acts of sacrifice—physical, emotional, or spiritual. These findings affirm the relevance of Erich Fromm’s concept of love in understanding the dynamics of love and humanity in literary works

Abstract

Pembelajaran mendalam menekankan pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan kreatif sebagai solusi atas rendahnya kualitas tulisan siswa SMA yang selama ini dipengaruhi oleh pendekatan pembelajaran berorientasi produk, penggunaan materi yang abstrak dan kurang relevan, serta keterbatasan kesiapan guru dalam mengelola proses menulis secara komprehensif. Kajian literatur sistematis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis berbagai model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas tulisan siswa. Lima model utama yang dikaji meliputi literasi pra-tulis intensif, sistem kecerdasan buatan (AI) adaptif dengan umpan balik real-time, pembelajaran berbasis konteks autentik, e-modul interaktif untuk pengembangan profesional guru, serta olah alur digital melalui teknik mind mapping. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing model memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa, khususnya dalam aspek organisasi ide, koherensi esai, efisiensi proses belajar, kemandirian berpikir, serta kreativitas dalam mengembangkan narasi. Integrasi kelima model tersebut terbukti mampu membentuk ekosistem pembelajaran yang holistik dan berkelanjutan, sehingga menghasilkan tulisan yang lebih analitis, kontekstual, dan orisinal. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan kesesuaian yang kuat dengan prinsip-prinsip dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi dan pengembangan karakter. Selain itu, kajian ini menawarkan kerangka kerja praktis yang dapat digunakan oleh guru, siswa, dan peneliti sebagai panduan implementasi pembelajaran mendalam dalam kegiatan menulis. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan utama yang perlu diatasi, terutama terkait kesiapan guru dalam mengadopsi pendekatan baru serta keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi di berbagai satuan pendidikan.

Abstract

High-quality education is essential for cultivating a generation that is critical, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, and highly competitive; therefore, it is imperative to provide the necessary facilities to facilitate interaction in the learning process. This research aims to 1) identify the need for an E-Module, 2) Design an E-Module, 3) Measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Science E-Module to improve the learning outcomes of class VII students at North Galesong 2 Middle School. This research was conducted using an R&D (Research & Development) approach. This research was developed using the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Galesong Utara. The subjects of this research were 2 validators consisting of material experts and media experts, 30 students, and 1 science subject teacher. Data collection utilizes needs identification questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert questionnaires, individual questionnaires, small group questionnaires, subject teacher response questionnaires, pretest and posttest distribution. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The research results indicate that the identification of student needs is in the required qualifications. The E-Module development design is designed in accordance with ATP which is designed using Canva, Flip PDF Professional, and Website 2 Apk Builder. The results of the E-Module validity level from the assessment of material and media expert validators are at the very valid qualification stage. The practicality level results obtained from the questionnaire analysis of individual student responses, small groups, and science subject teacher responses were determined to be in the very practical criteria. The level of effectiveness of the Science E-Module was measured by pretest and posttest which demonstrated an increase in student learning outcomes, thus it was deemed very effective. Based on the analysis results, it was concluded that the Science E-Module could be utilized in the learning process in class VII at SMPN 2 Galesong Utara.
