Abstract

Backgrounds: Recently, many teenagers have an irregular menstruation periods. Physical activity is one of the risk factor that increase the incidence of menstruation periods irregularity. High Schools students had a lot of variation in daily physical activities. This research aimed to determine the correlation between physical activity and the menstrual cycle in adolescents at Warga High School Surakarta. Methods: This research used descriptive analytical study by the cross sectional design. The subject of the research were female students of X and XI grade at Warga High School in Surakarta that taken by purposive random sampling technique. Independent variable of this research was physical activity which was measured by International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Dependent variable of this research was menstruation cycle which was measured by menstruation cycle questionnaire. The size of the sample were 90 female students who were divided into 3 group based on their intensity of physical activities. These 3 groups were divided again based on their menstruation cycle. The collected data were analysed with Chi Square formula and Coeffisient Contiquenency (CC). Results: The result of Chi Square analysis was 0,037 as p value and the value of Q was 0.261 . Conclusions: There was correlation between physical activity and menstruation cycle in adolescents at Warga Senior High Schools Surakarta but the correlation between these two variables was less closely related. Abstract

Background: Andropause represents the symptoms and signs due to the lower rate of testosteron that happened slowly along with increasing the age. One of the symptoms is vasomotor disorder, that is called hot flashes. The presence of hot flashes can be result to insomnia in males with andropause. Number of andropauses prevalence which tend to high in some area in Indonesia can indicate the amount of adult men that suffer from insomnia. This research aim to prove that there is a correlation between andropause and insomnia, especially at Subdistrict Jebres Surakarta. Method: This analytic qualitative observational study uses cross-sectional method was held in Subdistrict Jebres Surakarta. Subjects in this study are males with inclusion and exclusion criterias. Sixty males (above 40 years old) were chosen to participate in this study by purposive random sampling (30 males with andropause and 30 males without andropause). Data were collected through self-administered questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using Chi Square (X2) test and Contingency Coefficient (C) test. Result: The data analysis, with ? = 0.05, shows p = 0.003 which means p < 0.05 and C = 0.36 or 36 %. Conclusion: There is a correlation between andropause and insomnia in males at Subdistrict Jebres Surakarta (p < 0.05, C = 0.36), where the number of insomnias prevalence is bigger at andropauses group. Abstract

Background: Carcinoma mammae is a cancer of thoracal region that most commonly found and suffered by women in Indonesia. Cancer patients may experience morbidity and psychiatric disorder. With rehabilitation, physical and psychological disorders which were caused by cancer could be reduced. This study aims to determine effects of medical rehabilitation towards stress level of post-surgical mammary carcinoma patients. Methods: This research is observational analytic study with cross-sectional approach. Subjects were patients who came to the clinic of Oncology and Medical Rehabilitation Installation of National Cancer Centre Dharmais. Research subjects were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained through interviews using questionnaires. The collected data were statistically analyzed with Chi Square test using SPSS 17 software for Windows program. Results: From the research results, there is total 60 patients. Medium-category stress patients were 53 people, 25 people (47.2%) had never undergone medical rehabilitation, and 28 people (52.8%) had undergone medical rehabilitation. Severe-category stress patients were 7 people, 5 people (71.4%) had never undergone medical rehabilitation and 2 people (28.6%) had undergone medical rehabilitation. The results of calculations acquired a significance level of Xcount is 0.228 > significance level of p = 0.05. Conclusions: Based on the result of statistical analysis, it can be concluded that there is no significant effects of medical rehabilitation towards stress level of post-surgical mammary carcinoma patients. Abstract

Background: Green chiretta contains andrographolide as active substances, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which were thought to protect the livers cell from free radicals. In present study, Green chiretta leaves extract was evaluated for its protective effect on heksaklorosiklon-induced liver cell damage in mice. Methods: To evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of Green chiretta leaves extract, 28 male, Swiss Webster mice (Mus musculus) were equally divided into four groups. The group I (KK) were administered aquadest and group II (KP1) were not only administered aquadest but also a toxic dose of paracetamol on the day 12, 13 and 14. Grup IIIIV (KP2-KP3) were administered Green chiretta leaves extract (0.2 ml and 0.4 ml, successively) for 14 days and a toxic dose of paracetamol on the day 12, 13 and 14. Mice were sacrificed on the 15th day with neck dislocation and their livers were prepared for microscopy study to evaluate their cell damages. The damages were assessed by counting the number of hepatocyte on centrolobuler zone undergoing pyknosis, karyorhexis, and karyolysis. The data were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test (? = 0.05) and the Post Hoc Multiple Comparisons (LSD) test (? = 0.05). Results: The mean liver cell damage score of the KP1 group was significantly higher (61.80 7.991) than the KK group (33.00 5.225). The KP2 group showed fewer numbers of liver cell damage (37.81 5.653) compared to the KP1 group (61.80 7.991) and the KP3 group (60.81 8.268). The One Way ANOVA test showed the significant difference between the four groups (p=0.000) while the LSD test showed the significant differences between each other group (p<0.005), except the group of KP1-KP3 (p> 0.005). Conclusions: The treatment of Green chiretta leaves extract was able to decrease the liver cell damage of mice. The increase dose of Green chiretta leaves extract was not followed by the increase of protection effect to the liver cell damage of mice induced by paracetamol. Abstract

CNC milling (Computer Numerically Controlled Milling) adalah merupakan salah satu proses permesinan non konvensional yang pergerakan meja mesin (sumbu X dan Y ) serta spindel (sumbu Z atau rumah cutter) dikendalikan oleh suatu program program berisi langkah-langkah perintah yang harus dijalankan oleh mesin CNC (huruf per huruf atau angka per angka) yang disebut dengan program NC (Numerecally Control). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari variasi putaran mesin agar diketahui putaran yang baik selama proses permesinan milling sehingga mendapatkan setting yang sesuai pada putaran mesin sehingga menghasilkan kualitas yang baik pada kekasaran permukaan dan kekerasan permukaan. Bahan yang digunakan adalah Aluminium AA 5052 - H112, alat yang digunakan adalah mesin Milling MCV- 1100 menggunakan pahat face mild, kemudian Aluminium di proses dengan milling dengan variasi putaran mesin 700 rpm, 900 rpm, 1100 rpm, 1300 rpm dengan kecepatan potong tetap 50 mm/menit, setelah proses selesai kemudian melakukan uji kekasaran permukaan dan kekerasan. Untuk nilai kekasaran pada putaran mesin 700 rpm=1,38 µm, 900 rpm= 1,25 µm, 1100 rpm=1,24 µm dan 1300 rpm=1,31 µm. Sedangkan nilai kekerasan untuk putaran mesin 700 rpm = 48,37 kg/mm², 900 rpm =48,62 kg/mm², 1100 rpm = 48,68 kg/mm². dan 1300 rpm = 48,11 kg/mm². Kata kunci: Kekasaran, kekerasan, proses milling, variasi putaran mesin.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan uji balistik dan bending terhadap variasi struktur serat rami. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Resin epoksi tipe General Purpose (Bisphenol A-Epichlorohydrin) dan Hardener tipe General Purpose (Polyaminoamide), Silikon Karbida dengan ukuran 120 dan Serat rami. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: gunting, cetakan spesimen dengan ukuran untuk cetakan pengujian bending adalah 5 cm x 19 cm dan cetakan pengujian balistik 20 cm x 20 cm, mixer, grease, gelas ukur, jangka sorong, pistol revolver 38 spesial untuk uji balistik dan mesin uji bending. Setelah resin dipanaskan selama 1 menit, campur dan aduk bersama silikon karbid selama kurang lebih 1 menit setelah itu dicampur katalis dan siap dituang kedalam cetakan. Hasil pengujian balistik/tembak material rompi anti peluru pada variasi struktur serat rami spesimen anyaman dengan jarak tembak 10m dan Deformasi Peluru rata-rata 3,85 tidak mengalami pecah/tertembus peluru ditunjukkan dengan deformasi peluru tertinggi 4,5 mm dibandingkan rata - rata deformasi peluru spesimen lurus (2,6mm), acak (2,47mm) dan miring 450 (2,1mm) yang mengalami pecah/tertembus peluru. Pada pengujian bending variasi struktur serat rami anyaman rata – rata kekuatan bending nya 1,259 kgf/mm². Variasi struktur serat rami lurus rata – rata kekuatan bendingnya 2,447 kgf/mm². variasi struktur serat rami acak spesimen rata–rata kekuatan bending nya adalah 1,428 kgf/mm². variasi struktur serat rami miring 45º rata–rata kekuatan bending nya adalah 1,070 kgf/mm². Abstract

Potensi energi angin di indonesia sangat melimpah. Sumber energi dari angin merupakan salah satu sumber energi bersih. Pengembangan turbin angin sangat sesuai dengan kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan turbin angin vertical dengan jari-jari 70 cm, tinggi 150 cm, dengan dua buah sudu lebar 40 cm. Untuk mempermudah dalam pengambilan data antara sudu dan lengan turbin di buat seperti sendi agar mudah untuk mengatur sudut sudu. Hasil data yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah daya terbesar turbin angin poros vertikal yaitu 9,2 watt yang menghasilkan debit air sekitar 0,086 m3/s, dengan daya teoretis 0,0002334 watt. Karakter dari turbin angin poros vertikal ini dapat berputar jika di kenai kecepatan angin yang rata-rata 3 m/s, sehingga turbin angin poros vertikal ini membutuhkan tempat yang lapang atau tinggi untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal sehingga sudu dapat berputar dengan baik pula. Dalam pengambilan data mencari debit air yang maksimum dari pengujian kecepatan angin 1 s/d 4 m/s diperoleh debit air yng paling tinggi. Kata Kunci : debit air, pompa hidran, turbin angin.

Abstract

CNC mempunyai ketelitian yang tinggi, ketepatan dimensi, waktu produksi yang lebih efektif, dan produktivitas tinggi. Hasil pengerjaan mesin CNC bergantung pada parameter permesinan, seperti cutting speed, feedrate, depth of cut, material benda, pendinginan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari variasi pahat agar diketahui pahat yang baik selama proses permesinan CNC bubut sehingga mendapatkan setting yang sesuai sehingga menghasilkan kualitas yang baik pada kekasaran permukaan dan kekerasan permukaan. Bahan yang digunakan adalah Baja ST. 41, alat yang digunakan adalah mesin bubut CNC HJ-28 dengan variasi jenis pahat Insert, HSS Bohler, karbida, kemudian Baja ST 41 diproses dengan mesin bubut CNC dengan kecepatan putar spindel (spindle speed) tetap 500 rpm dan gerak pemakanan pahat tetap 50 mm/menit dengan kedalaman 2 mm, kemudian melakukan uji kekasaran permukaan dan kekerasan. Nilai kekasaran pada pahat insert =1,33 µm, pahat HSS Bohler = 1,14 µm, dan pahat karbida = 1,84 µm, pengujian kekasaran pemukaan hasil yang paling halus yaitu pahat HSS Bohler = 1,14 µm sedangkan yang paling kasar yaitu pahat karbida = 1,84 µm. Nilai kekerasan untuk pahat insert = 144 kg/mm², pahat HSS Bohler = 140,33 kg/mm², dan pahat karbida = 140,33 kg/mm². Pengujian kekerasan hasil yang paling keras yaitu pahat insert = 144 kg/mm². Kata kunci: Variasi jenis pahat, tingkat kekasaran, kekerasan, proses bubut CNC.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes PKn students of class VI SDN 004 Desa Simpang Pulai Kecamatan Ukui, that of the 30 students, only 15 students who completed the learning outcomes PKn, with the average value of 54 where KKM specified is 70 , 00. The cause of low learning outcomes is the passivity of students in the learning process, In addition, teachers are still using conventional teaching methods and teacher-centered. Based on this, the researchers conducted an increase learning outcomes through the application of the model. This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes PKn as well as increase the activity of students in the learning process through the implementation of NHT type cooperative model. Data collection techniques used were observation activities of teachers and students, achievement test, and documentation. This study was conducted over two cycles. The data in this research is descriptive about the activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes in subjects PKn class VI student. The results of this study showed that the learning outcomes PKn increased each cycle. Preliminary data states that only 15 students or 50% were completed, the first cycle of mastery learning increased with the number of 26 students or 87%, and the second cycle increased mastery learning again with the number of 27 students or 90%.

T Keizerina Devi A Land and building exchanging or swap owned by the State (ruilslag) is one of the alternatives made by the government agency; in this case, Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, in order to meet the needs of unit facilities in which the asset of Kodam I/Bukit Barisan is part of the State’s property so that the swap should be based on the Directive of the Finance Minister No. 96/PMK.06/2007 on the Procedure of the Implementation of using, utilizing, eliminating, and transferring State-owned property which regulates the procedure of swap (ruilslag).
