Abstract

Kedatangan imigran beragam etnis ke Amerika dari berbagai  belahan dunia menjadikan multikultur masyarakatnya semakin komplek. Tantangan ekonomi juga pendidikan menunggu kebijakan yang berpihak pada semua orang atas dasar kemanusiaan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan atau library reseach. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan content analysis atau kajian isi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultur dipilih menjadi jalan dalam membangun critical-multiculturalims masyarakat. Kebijakan pendidikan multikultur di Amerika merupakan bagian dari upaya asimilasi sosial terkhusus kaum imigran pada arus sosial utama.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian yakni ada berbagai suku-suku, dan budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Keberagaman menjadi kekuatan sosial untuk membangun bangsa. Konflik-konflik yang ada dibeberapa tempat di Indonesia merupakan gambaran bagaimana keragaman dapat menciptakan kekerasan dan kehilangan.Tujuan penulisan jurnal ini untuk yakni bagaimana Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap konten multikulturalisme dalam konsep perkulihan pendidikan Islam Multikultural, bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap implementasi multikulturalisme dalam pendidikan Islam multikultural, bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap strategi yang digunakan penanaman nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam perkulihan pendidikan Islam Multikultural. Jenis penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif (qualitative research), melalui model kritis-deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data untuk bahan analisa, digunakan teknik field research (studi lapangan), metode wawancara untuk dijadikan sebagai data primer, Sedangkan untuk data-data sekunder peneliti mengutip karya ilmiah berbentuk buku maupun artikel ilmiah. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan Multikulturalisme mencerminkan harmoni antara mencari persamaan dan kontras sosial, memberdayakan orang untuk mengikuti dan memperluas cakrawala sosial dan sosial mereka sendiri. Mengaplikasikan saling menghargai sesama berbedaan, ras, suku, budaya, bahasa, dan agama ikut serta dalam bermusyawarah dan berkumpul untuk menemukan hal-hal baru di masyarakat

Abstract

Belajar daring pada sekolah dasar banyak menggunakan media WhatsApp. Penting untuk menelisik bagaimana efektifitas belajar daring melalui WhatsApp. Peneliti melakukan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif pada berbagai Sekolah Dasar. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring melalui WhatsApp pada sekolah dasar cendrung tidak efektif. Sangat diperlukan evaluasi peran guru juga orang tua dalam hal ini kedepan.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education for students is a key objective of school-based learning activities. A smart and accurate contest is one of the approaches and technology-based learning models utilized by teachers who actively cultivate the abilities and interests of their students. The school selects students who succeed in the academic field, as demonstrated by their results in each topic, then selects individuals based on the selection criteria and determines kids with the highest scores who are eligible to participate in the smart and accurate contest. The goal of this work is to present a decision-making model using the Profile Matching approach. Using the GAP comparison table, this method determines the GAP value between the ideal candidate and the candidate candidate. The research data shows that there are 5 alternative student candidates participating in the quiz competition and 4 assessment criteria, namely the Average Knowledge Aspect Value (C1), Skill Aspect Average Score (C2), Simulation Test Score (C3) and Test Runtime (C4). The assessment model employing the Profile Matching method was successfully applied to the problem of determining smart and accurate contest participants. The results indicated that there were three best alternatives for students participating in the smart and accurate contest: alternative A4 with a value of 4,7, followed by alternatives A1 and A2 with a value of 4,5.

Abstract

Tradition is a habit passed down from time to time across generations. Each tradition has values useful for maintaining life personally and socially, including the Cambuk Lidi tradition in Derati Village, Kota Padang District, Rejang Lebong, Indonesia. Researchers explore its values by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with community leaders, namely the chairman and members of the Badan Musyawrah Adat (BMA), religious officials, village officials, and perpetrators who were sentenced to Cambuk Lidi (people who had been Cambukped). The results show that at least two important values are contained in this tradition, namely the values of faith and moral values. The value of faith is to believe and carry out all His commands. The moral value of Cambuk Lidi is to build a responsible attitude, have a sense of shame and immediately correct themselves from mistakes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis konfigurasi pendidikan karakter berbasis multiple intligences sebagai salah satu desain pembelajaran penting di era inovasi disruptif ini. Untuk mengelaborasi dan menemukan tujuan penelitian di atas, maka penulis melakukan penelitian dengan jenis studi pustaka, serta menggunakan pendekatan filosofis atau analisis konten. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pendidikan diimplementasikan mesti dengan kesadaran dan memahami dengan benar, jika anak yang lahir dibekali dengan bakat serta kecerdasan masing-masing yang tentunya bervariasi. Oleh karena itu, di dalam suatu proses pembelajaran tentunya tidak akan berjalan efektif jika hanya dijalankan tanpa ada kresasi dan inovasi desain motode pembelajaran, namun mesti dipahami juga bahwa didalam suatu proses pembelajaran terdapat berbagai materi dimana seorang pendidik juga harus menggunakan beragam desain metode pembelajaran dan dalam melakukan penentuan metode serta memodifikasi atau mendesain metode, pendidik wajib memahami secara mendalam mengenai kecerdasan yang ada pada setiap individu sebab hal ini bisa mempengaruhi keberhasilan pada suatu pembelajaran dalam proses pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan yang tidak menekankan pada pengoptimalan berbasis potensi kecerdasan majemuk, berimplikasi pada kegagalan dalam mewujdukan peserta didik menjadi manusia yang berkarakter kuat positif di era inovasi disruptif ini.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism requires the fulfillment of the four types of competencies that are manifested in competency tests and teacher certification. Apart from these two things, there are other ways that teachers can do it independently, namely learning from local history. Understanding of local history has many benefits. In this context, that understanding can be a source of motivation and inspiration to become a professional teacher. Therefore, this study seeks to reveal the dimensions of teacher competence in local history context, namely about Sheikh Jalaludin's struggle for Islamic education. The research type used in this research was field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing the head of the Customary Consultative Agency (BMA-Badan Musyawarah Adat), community leaders, and religious leaders. The data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model which consisted of three stages, including: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study results prove two things. First, Sheikh Jalaludin's Islamic education strategy uses a gradual Sufistic approach, namely by adapting to the environment and the customs of the community to gain their empathy. Second, its success in Islamizing society reflects the professional and ideal dimensions of teacher competence. This study concludes that local historical experience is an important aspect that can inspire teachers to improve their competence and ideals as professional educators.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the most important factors owned by every student in order to get maximum results in a learning process at school. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the level of learning motivation in the new normal era in students of SMKS TP 45 Negara in 2022. The population in this study is students of XP1 and XP2 classes, totaling 70 people. The sampling technique in this study used a total sampling technique, where the entire population was used as a sample in this study. This research is a type of survey research using a quantitative descriptive design. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire which consisted of 15 questions with a Likert scale which was adopted from previous research. The results in this study are the level of learning motivation in the low category as many as 4 people (5.7%), the medium category as many as 12 people (17.1), the high category as many as 22 people (31.4%), and the very high category as many as 32 people (45.7%). So it can be concluded that the average level of student learning motivation in SMKS TP 45 Negara in the new normal era is in the very high category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Islamic education management information systems and their concepts and implementation processes in educational institutions. A management information system is designed to provide information to support decision-making in management activities (planning, implementing, organizing and controlling) within an organization. Understanding management information systems based on information technology, including the concept of information systems, information use, and the value of information. System boundaries have been determined by encouraging the quality of the system's work. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study type, data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out when the researcher came to the research locus at State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Rejang Lebong Bengkulu; after the data was collected, analysis and conclusions were drawn. The process of credibility, dependability, confirmability and transferability is used to check the validity of the data. Research results: the work process in each system produces a result (output) that is sustainable and an evaluation system through feedback treatment. This means that if the output contains information that is contrary to the achievements of the organization, it will be input into the system; if the system has received the results of the feedback, then the system will make the necessary revisions and adjustments so that the output is consistent with its original purpose. Then, with the rapid advancement of technology, it must be tamed with an educator's ability so that technology can become a slave, not enslaved by technology.

Abstract

Online games are played through internet connection on various devices, either alone or collaboratively with players from around the world. This research aims to explore the impact of violence in online games on children's behavior and mental health. The research methodology is literature review, using sources from Google Scholar and articles published in Scopus- and Sinta-accredited journals. Violence in online games refers to graphic or action scenes that depict violence, such as weapon fighting, physical violence, harsh language, or other brutal acts. Some games display violence explicitly and realistically, such as blood, broken bones, or sexual violence, while in other games, violence is implicitly and less visible. The presence of violent content in online games may have different impacts on children, but generally can affect their behavior, character, and mental health. Therefore, it is crucial for parents and caregivers to limit the time spent playing online games and choose games that are safe and do not contain violent content for children. The negative impact of violent online games includes increased aggression, reduced empathy, decreased mental health, distraction, and worsened behavior. However, there are also positive impacts of violent online games, such as enhancing social and cognitive skills, improving multitasking ability, and boosting creativity. It is important for parents and caregivers to monitor and regulate their children's online game time, and choose games appropriate for their age and maturity level that do not contain violent content.
