Post-operative pain, especially TKA procedures, is a problem that is often encountered. The use of adequate analgesics is the main treatment to reduce the side effects of pain, namely immobilization, decreased range of motion (ROM), increased risk of thromboembolism and decreased success rate of rehabilitation. Several previous studies reported the possibility of a significant therapeutic effect on the postoperative pain response by using preemptive analgesia methods with cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors (COX-2 inhibitors). The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of COX-2 inhibitors using the preemptive analgesia method in total knee arthroplasty surgery through a literature study. Data searches were carried out on several electronic journal databases PubMed, ProQuest and Google Scholar, with the keywords "cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitors", "COX-2 inhibitor", "celecoxib", "valdecoxib", "rofecoxib", "etoricoxib", "non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs”, “preoperative analgesia”, and “total knee arthroplasty”. in 2013-2022. Overall, the study showed a significant response to the use of COX-2 inhibitors in preemptive analgesia methods to suppress the pain response at rest and during knee flexion after TKA when compared with the control group. The PA method with COX-2 inhibitors has also been proven to be successful in reducing the level of use of salvatory analgesics, which indirectly indicates that pain control has been successful. COX-2 inhibitors have been proven to be effective in reducing the pain response as a preemptive analgesia method in patients undergoing TKA procedures.

Kegiatan KKN-PPM Teknik Industri ITATS dilaksanakan di dua kelurahan Kecamatan Benowo Surabaya yaitu Kecamatan Sememi dan Kandangan. Kegiatan pendampingan dilaksanakan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2024. Kegiatan diawali dengan pendekatan kepada masyarakat dan observasi langsung bersama aparat kelurahan, kelurahan, RT, dan RW. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas warga, mengembangkan UMKM lokal, dan menciptakan fasilitas ruang terbuka bagi warga untuk beraktivitas. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi dan kesepakatan dengan pihak mitra KKN dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan bersama, maka kegiatan pendampingan mengacu pada proses pembangunan green house, pendampingan UMKM dalam mengenal e-commerce dan kegiatan pemasaran produk unggulan warga, meningkatkan ketrampilan dan pemahaman software siswa sekolah dan juga pembangunan fasilitas umum yang dibutuhkan warga. Dari keseluruhan program kerja yang dilakukan pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif. Seluruh warga dapat memanfaatkan secara maksimal kegiatan pendampingan, bantuan sarana dan fasilitas yang diberikan sehingga kesejahteraan dan peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat dapat meningkat lebih baik lagiKata kunci: pengabdian, masyarakat, pendampingan, kesejahteraan, produktivitas, UMKM.

PT. Romi Violeta Sidoarjo merupakan perusahaan di bidang industri furniture yang menawarkan berbagai macam produk furniture berkualitas tinggi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Kualitas produk menjadi fokus utama perusahaan dan diproduksi dengan dukungan mesin modern dan tenaga ahli. Proses produksi yang lancar adalah kunci keberhasilan di bidang manufaktur. Dalam konteks ini, keselamatan karyawan selama produksi merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan. Menjaga keselamatan karyawan tidak hanya merupakan kewajiban hukum tetapi juga berperan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan dan mencegah kerugian akibat kecelakaan kerja. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa enam proses produksi memiliki risiko tinggi menurut metode HIRADC dan nilai HEP sebesar Pemotongan Kayu 0,004, Penghalusan Kayu 0,67, Penyambungan Kayu 0,80, Pengecatan Kayu 0,048, Pengemasan Mebel 0,33, dan Penyimpanan di Gudang 0,09. PT. Romi Violeta Sidoarjo perlu memperkuat penerapan HIRADC dan SPAR-H untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya serta meningkatkan keandalan karyawan. Rekomendasi utama meliputi peningkatan kinerja pengendalian bahaya dengan kontrol teknik, pemanfaatan SPAR-H untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan manusia dan menerapkan program intervensi yang sesuai, serta pelatihan dan edukasi K3 berkelanjutan

As time progresses, variations or diversities in language are growing, either in terms of words, phrases, clauses or sentences. Something that is not missed from the spotlight is the difference in language procedures based on placement or situation. Diversity in language use can also be visible in any society life, such as in professional, education, business, or even daily interaction or conversation. This research is sociolinguistic research. One of the discussions in this research is the level of language formality. This research aims at analyzing the translation of the level of language formality. This research analyzes the translation of various forms of language formality from the 2009 Indonesian novel Perahu Kertas by Dee Lestari and the English version of Paper Boat (2017), which is translated by Tiffany Tsao. This research used the Language Formality theory by Joos (1967) from his book The Five Clocks: A Linguistic Excursion Into the Five Styles of English Usage. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using qualitative data (textual), which is described descriptively. This research found that the novel used four types of levels of formality language, which are 57 data of casual style language, 43 data of consultative style language, 40 data of intimate style language, and seven data of formal style language. Background: Sepsis is a common, life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection. In 2017, estimated cases for sepsis reached 48.9 million worldwide, with 11 million deaths. Adequate antibiotic therapy is crucial for the treatment of sepsis. Purposes: The objective of this study is to find factors related to sepsis patient outcomes. Methods: We conducted a 1-year retrospective descriptive study with the inclusion criteria of all adult sepsis patients in Tarakan District Hospital in 2018. We compiled 39 samples that fit the inclusion criteria. Results: The distribution gender of this study were 51.2% female and 48.8% male patients; with most patients in the age of 65 years old (53.8%), 7 days in the length of stay (72%), and the most common source of infection was gastrointestinal (33.3%) followed by lungs (28.2%). Conclusion: We found a mortality rate of 59%, with the most common source of infection leading to death was the lungs (81.2%) and treated with single ceftriaxone antibiotic therapy (78.3%). Another factor associated with mortality is inadequate single antibiotic therapy.

The management of Islamic education learning based on digital technology, adapts to Islamic values, recognizing that religious education cannot rely solely on digital tools. Therefore, teachers still play a guiding role in providing direct support to students. This research aims to analyze the management of digital technology use in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Total Quality Management Perspective. The findings indicate that character-based PAI learning through digital technology encompasses four key elements: digital teaching modules and Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital technology-based learning infrastructure, teacher training, and support for character development in students. These four elements are accompanied by total quality management, so that PAI learning using digital technology accelerates the achievement of educational goals. This research is qualitative, descriptive, and analytical, utilizing a phenomenological approach. Primary data for this research was obtained directly from the Islamic Development Network (IDN) in Bogor.

Philanthropic institutions play a strategic role in supporting social development through community empowerment and the provision of social services. This study explores group dynamics in the management of Dompet Dhuafa, focusing on how group factors contribute to innovation and organizational management effectiveness. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and organizational document analysis. The research results show that effective communication, collaborative leadership, and adaptive conflict management are the main drivers of program innovation, such as the development of digital technology in fundraising. In addition, the effectiveness of the institution is influenced by accountability, transparency, and beneficiary satisfaction. This study provides practical recommendations to strengthen group dynamics in order to enhance innovation and sustainability in philanthropic institutions.

The missionary movement of the Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association (PITI) focuses on spreading Islamic values among the Chinese community in Indonesia. PITI seeks to integrate Chinese culture with Islamic teachings, thus creating harmony in diversity. Through various programs, such as religious studies, seminars, and social activities, PITI seeks to strengthen religious understanding, increase solidarity between communities, and make positive contributions to the wider community. This study aims to analyze the missionary movement carried out by the Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association (PITI) and its impact on the Chinese Muslim community in Indonesia. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative study with a case study approach, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature reviews to obtain a comprehensive picture of the dynamics of PITI's missionary work. The results of the study indicate that PITI has an important role in increasing religious awareness among the Chinese community through structured and inclusive missionary programs. In addition, PITI also contributes to strengthening the religious and social identities of community members. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of a missionary approach that is sensitive to local culture to achieve more effective results. Suggestions for similar future research are to explore the dynamics of interactions between the Chinese Muslim community and the majority society, as well as to evaluate more innovative da'wah strategies in diverse contexts. Abstrak Gerakan dakwah Organisasi Persatuan Islam Tionghoa Indonesia (PITI) berfokus pada penyebaran nilai-nilai Islam di kalangan komunitas Tionghoa di Indonesia. PITI berupaya mengintegrasikan budaya Tionghoa dengan ajaran Islam, sehingga menciptakan harmoni dalam keberagaman. Melalui berbagai program, seperti pengajian, seminar, dan kegiatan sosial, PITI berusaha untuk memperkuat pemahaman agama, meningkatkan solidaritas antarumat, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gerakan dakwah yang dilakukan oleh Organisasi Persatuan Islam Tionghoa Indonesia (PITI) dan dampaknya terhadap masyarakat Tionghoa Muslim di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research), dimana data dikumpulkan dari buku dan jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PITI memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran beragama di kalangan komunitas Tionghoa melalui program dakwah yang terstruktur dan inklusif. Selain itu, PITI juga berkontribusi dalam memperkuat identitas keagamaan dan sosial anggota komunitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan dakwah yang sensitif terhadap budaya lokal untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih efektif. Saran untuk penelitian serupa di masa mendatang adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika interaksi antara komunitas Tionghoa Muslim dengan masyarakat mayoritas, serta mengevaluasi strategi dakwah yang lebih inovatif dalam konteks yang beragam.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh guru yang hanya menggunakan evaluasi pembelajaran sebagai tahapan dalam memperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik dan kurang memperhatikan fungsi evaluasi pembelajaran sebagai langkah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antara evaluasi pembelajaran dengan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mendokumentasikan dan meninjau artikel mengenai evaluasi pembelajaran dan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran yang diterbitkan dalam kurung waktu 2018 hingga 2023. Teknik analisis data menggunakan PRISMA dan memperoleh artikel sebanyak 10 artikel jurnal yang terdiri dari jurnal nasional dan prosiding yang diperoleh dari database Google Scholar. Proses analisis dan meninjau data yang diperoleh menghasilkan penelitian bahwa terdapat keterkaitan yang positif antara evaluasi pembelajaran dengan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran pada jenjang madrasah ibtidaiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran memmpunyai keterkaitan yang erat dengan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran utamanya pada jenjang madrasah ibtidaiyah. Evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan tidak hanya memperhatikan aspek penilaian peserta didik namun juga keseluruhan kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan memberikan peningkatan pada kualitas pembelajaran guru. Dilihat dari poin indikator proses belajar mengajar bergantung pada guru, dukungan peserta didik, dan sumber daya yang tercapai. Learning Evaluation: Benchmarks for the Quality of Learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Abstract: This research was motivated by teachers who only use learning evaluation as a stage in learning outcomes and pay less attention to the function of learning evaluation as a step in improving the quality of learning. As a step in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of this research aims to find out the relationship between learning evaluation and learning quality improvement. With improving the quality of learning. This research uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection was conducted by documenting and reviewing articles on articles on learning evaluation and learning quality improvement that published from 2018 to 2023. Data analysis technique data analysis technique using PRISMA and obtained 10 journal articles consisting of national journals and proceedings. Articles consisting of national journals and proceedings obtained from the Google Scholar database. The process of analyzing and reviewing the data obtained resulted in research that there is a positive relationship between learning evaluation and learning quality improvement at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level with improving the quality of learning at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. The results show that learning evaluation learning evaluation has a close relationship with improving the quality of learning, especially at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. Learning evaluation that is carried out by not only paying attention to the aspects of student assessment but also the overall learning activities that will provide an increase in the quality of on the quality of teacher learning. In learning mathematics, there are several abilities that must be possessed in learning it, one of which is problem solving ability. The problem solving ability at MTsN 1 Lamongan is still not optimal. This was demonstrated through interviews conducted with mathematics teachers at MTsN 1 Lamongan. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe the mathematical problem solving abilities of MTsN 1 Lamongan students in terms of the type of MTsN 1 Lamongan program. The method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were through tests and interviews. The instrument used in this research is the problem solving ability instrument according to Polya. The data analysis technique is through analyzing student test results and then adjusting them to indicators of problem solving abilities. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following results are obtained, in the SKS class program students are still unable to identify problems and implement strategies and are unable to formulate strategies and verify solutions. Meanwhile, in the superior program, students have been able to implement strategies but have not been able to identify problems and formulate strategies, and have not verified solutions. Lastly, regular program students have been able to formulate strategies but have not been able to identify problems and implement strategies, and have not verified solutions.
