Abstract

Sudden cardiac arrest is a crita Sudden cardiac arrest is a critical medical condition requiring immediate intervention and basic emergency competencies among future healthcare professionals. Learning experiences related to emergency response are essential for health sciences students as they prepare for clinical responsibilities. This study explores students' reflections on their experiences in learning emergency response interventions, emphasizing perceived challenges and expectations for improved learning processes. A descriptive qualitative design was adopted, and data were collected through in-depth interviews with 12 health sciences students who had recently completed a formal emergency response learning module. Thematic analysis revealed four key areas: difficulty in maintaining correct procedural techniques, limited familiarity with emergency devices, performance anxiety under simulated pressure, and insufficient opportunities for repetition and feedback. Students expressed the need for extended practice time, realistic scenario-based learning, and formative assessments to reinforce competence and confidence. These reflections offer valuable insights for educators to develop more responsive, participatory, and psychologically supportive approaches in emergency response education, ultimately enhancing students' preparedness for real-life clinical challenges. ical medical condition requiring immediate intervention and basic emergency competencies among future healthcare professionals. Abstract

The limited availability of empathy measurement instruments that align with Islamic values presents a significant challenge in the education of Islamic Religious Education teacher candidates in Indonesia. This study aims to develop and validate the Basic Empathy Scale - Islamic Theology, a modified version of the Basic Empathy Scale, designed to measure empathy based on Islamic values such as compassion, sincerity, tolerance, and mutual assistance. Employing a quantitative approach with an instrument development design, this research involved 211 respondents. The results of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis indicated a reasonably good model fit, with a Chi-Square (χ²) value of 384.623 (df = 132), p < 0.001, CFI = 0.829, TLI = 0.802, and RMSEA = 0.095, suggesting that the model is acceptable, though not perfect. The reliability coefficients-Cronbach's Alpha (α) = 0.809 and Omega (ω) = 0.816-demonstrate excellent internal consistency. The BES-IT was found to be a valid and reliable instrument for measuring empathy based on Islamic values. Its implication lies in supporting the development of the social-spiritual character of Islamic Religious Education teacher candidates and enhancing the contextual and responsive quality of religious education.

Abstract

The validity of assessment instruments is the basis for ensuring the quality of learning assessment. A valid instrument allows the results of the evaluation to be used appropriately in educational decision-making. This study aims to examine the practice of using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and identify common weaknesses in the validation of assessment instruments through Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA guidelines. Articles were searched from the Scopus database of 2020–2025, with 30 selected articles out of 746 analyzed. The results show that EFA is widely used to explore the validity of constructs in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments in the fields of education, psychology, social, and Islamic Religious Education. The EFA is effective in identifying the structure of latent factors in instruments that do not yet have a standard theoretical model. Some common challenges include difficulty determining the number of factors, confusion between EFA and PCA, and limitations in dealing with residual correlations. Recommended solutions include parallel analysis, fit indices, the use of ESEM, as well as improved methodological training. This study concludes that the appropriate use of EFA supports the development of instruments that are more valid and adaptive to the needs of today's educational assessments.

Abstract

Purpose – This study addresses the critical need for a contextual and comprehensive evaluation system for entrepreneurship education in Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI). While global research increasingly supports the role of entrepreneurship education in driving innovation and sustainability, most existing studies focus on entrepreneurial intentions or self-efficacy, with limited attention to systematic evaluation frameworks. This study aims to map global scientific trends, identify adaptive evaluation models, and formulate a Learning-Oriented Assessment (LOA)-based conceptual framework tailored for PTKI. Design/methods/approach – Using a mixed-methods exploratory design, the study integrates bibliometric analysis of 1,428 Scopus-indexed articles (2015–2025) with a systematic literature review (SLR) of 29 empirically and theoretically grounded studies. Analytical tools such as VOSviewer, R Studio Bibliometrix, and PRISMA 2020 protocols were employed to ensure methodological rigor. The PICOS framework guided article selection and synthesis. Findings – Results show a steady 5.12% annual growth in publications, with hybrid models—particularly the CIPP-AHP-FCE—emerging as the most adaptive across diverse institutional contexts, including those with limited technological capacity. Dual-focused evaluations that integrate both learning processes and outcomes are found to be more holistic and sustainable. However, process-oriented assessment models remain underrepresented in current literature. Research implications – PTKIs can adopt the synthesized models and proposed framework to develop evaluation systems that align with their technological readiness, educator competencies, and spiritual mandates. This supports the advancement of reflective, inclusive, and pedagogically effective entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

The position of the Vice President and the President is not equal, even though the President and Vice President are a single inseparable institution. The position of the President and Vice President which is not equal shows that the presidential institution is the organizer of a single government system. The position of the Vice President cannot be separated from the President as a unit of positions which are directly elected by the people through general elections. Then, the duties and powers of the Vice President in the 1945 Constitution do not provide regulation, because the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution only mention their duties as assistant to the President, even though the President and Vice President are a single unit of office elected by the people through general elections. The authority of the Vice President is the authority mandated by the President to assist the President in implementing laws so that the responsibility remains with the President. The authority of the Vice President as a substitute for the President is all the powers that are in the position of President. In the future, it is necessary to make a law as an elaboration of the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution
