Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 changed the paradigm to student-centered and accelerated the development of digital learning media. YouTube video media is a digital technology learning media that allows interesting, concrete, and contemporary social studies learning by Generation Z. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of YouTube video media in social studies learning to increase student learning motivation. The research methodology used a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest and posttest design. The population in this study amounted to 75 students from class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Badau, Belitung District, Indonesia. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling. A total of 50 students were selected using cluster random sampling. The experimental group (n=25) was given YouTube video media learning, while the control group (n=25) was given conventional media in image media. The research instrument was a validated learning motivation questionnaire. Hypothesis testing was carried out using t-tests, while the increase in learning motivation used the N-gain test. The research findings showed an increase in student learning motivation. The experimental group showed a higher increase in learning motivation than the control group. This shows that YouTube video media in social studies learning effectively increases students' learning motivation. The implication of this research shows that YouTube video media has the potential to increase learning motivation in social studies learning. Further research on the effectiveness of YouTube video media can help social studies teachers use YouTube optimally to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang menyeluruh mengenai implementasi penilaian autentik Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Labschool Jakarta di Jl. Pemuda Komplek UNJ, Rawamangun, Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisis dokumen. Sumber data  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisis dokumen yang berasal dari informan kunci dan informan inti. Informan kunci yaitu Kepala Sekolah dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kurikulum, sedangkan informan inti yaitu guru-guru IPS kelas tujuh dan delapan yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa guru-guru IPS di SMP Labschool Jakarta dalam mengimplementasikan penilaian autentik kurikulum 2013 menghadapi permasalahan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi tersebut dari proses penilaian yang berdasarkan tiga ranah yaitu sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Selain itu juga dari jumlah siswa yang banyak, form penilaian, waktu pengambilan nilai, serta penilaian yang detail dan banyak diamati. Untuk mengimplementasikan penilaian autentik  kurikulum  2013  yang  perlu  diperbaiki  bukan  dari  sistem  penilaian autentik kurikulum 2013 seperti yang diharapkan oleh guru-guru, melainkan perbaikan dari pemerintah dalam sosialisasi implementasi kurikulum 2013, serta meluruskan pola pikir dan paradigma guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

This research aims to know how the form of communication to overcome constraints vocabulary on the slow learner students in learning, the communication barriers in learning, as well as efforts by the teacher so that the learning was communicative in SMP Budi Waluyo South Jakarta class VIII. This research uses qualitative methods with the technique of data collection in the form of the technique of observation, interview, and documentation. Analysis of the data using the model of Miles and Huberman. The results of this research is verbal communication consists of oral elements with the Bible every day without language, the connotation and scientific, while writing with notes and memos that required schools. Nonverbal using the expression on his face when happy sad, anger, fear, shame, and interested in a matter. Movement of the body as to explain a form of objects, pointed toward the, reveals what difficult students say. While the touch of namely taps the shoulder to make students focus back on the lessons, touching the head and shoulders when it is advised, embrace and appoint if asked the students to be active to the front of the class. In learning found the communication barriers that there are in themselves the students are often dreaming in learning, less confident and less interested in the lessons according to the students difficult. The obstacles that there are from outside of the students such as the election of the appropriate words with the ability of students and the lack of facilities to support the lesson. Teachers attempt to create the learning atmosphere communicative through the question & answer, and make a game of learning. Using a simple learning media and multimedia like bringing the novel, music, appliance painting, pictures and videos learning, singing by changing the lyrics to matter and samosa, funny language learning. And give the touch of compassion as motivation and advice.

Abstract

This research purpose to obtain data on the role of the family as the first education of children, then to preserve the Javanese culture as identity, and to raise awareness of the importance of family education in the future development of children, both in attitude and knowledge. The research method used is descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires, as well as interviews and literature study. The sample of this research is children of Javanese family who live in West Jakarta area Kamal village. The results of this study concluded that the process of parents in educating children and preserving the local culture has various ways in its implementation, it is done in a sustainable and gives the impression that the effect until the child has entered adulthood, although living in the modern era and there are various influences in it, but the culture can still be run even in small intensity, so that culture is maintained awake from generation to generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena Cashless Society sebagai model baru dalam menganalisis gaya hidup mahasiswa di Jakarta. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan total responden sebanyak 80 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam pemilihan sampel ini adalah responden yang mempunyai aplikasi pembayaran secara cashless (Go-Pay) dan menggunakannya minimal 1 (satu) kali dalam seminggu.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan persamaan regresi linier sederhana Y = 29.850 + 0,670X. Persamaan regresi ini memiliki pengertian bahwa terjadi kenaikan (1) pada gaya hidup maka cashless society akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,670. Sedangkan jika cashless society mengalami penurunan (0) maka gaya hidup akan memiliki penurunan sebesar 29.850.Koefisien determinasi diperoleh senilai 61,3% yang artinya semakin tinggi pengguna cashless berarti akan semakin mempengaruhi gaya hidup penggunanya. Sedangkan nilai 38,7% yang tersisa adalah nilai yang mempengaruhi gaya hidup dari faktor-faktor lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t  (two tail) didapatkan nilai hasil sebesar 11,127. Maka taraf siginifikansi dari thitung > ttabel maka hipotesis H1 diterima dan H0 mengalami penolakan.                          ABSTRACT   Made Adhiya Wikannanda, Influence of the Cashless Society Phenomenon on Student Lifestyle. The Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta, 2019.  This research aims to analyse the phenomenon of Cashless Society as a new model in analyzing the student's lifestyle in Jakarta. The data used in this research is primary data by providing questionnaires to students at the Jakarta State University with a total of 80 respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach method. Sampling is performed using the purposive sampling technique. The criteria used in this sampel selection are respondents who have a cashless payment application (Go-Pay) and use it at least 1 (one) time a week.  The conclusion of this study suggests a simple linear regression equation Y = 29,850 + 0, 670X. This regression equation has the sense that there is an increase (1) in the lifestyle then the cashless society will experience a rise of 0.670. Whereas if the cashless society has decreased (0) then the lifestyle will have a decrease of 29,850.  The coefficient of determination is achieved at 61.3% which means the higher the cashless users will be increasingly affecting the user's lifestyle. While the remaining 38,7% value is a value that affects the lifestyle of other factors. Based on the results of the hypotheses test calculation using T (two tail) test obtained a result value of 11.127. Then the level of Siginifikansi from tcount > ttablel it make hypothesis means H1 accepted and H0 suffer rejection. Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to know does the use of cartoon character art board as a media could could be increasing the Score and activeness the Social Studies learning result of 41 students in the class of VIII-6, SMP Negeri 42 Bekasi, 2nd semester, education year of 2018/2019. This research was done from March to May 2019. The applied method in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) Method. which was done by a collaboration with social science teachers at SMP Negeri 42 Bekasi. 3 stages was applied during the research, they were: Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting. This research found the increase of learning result in every stage that was applied. In the 1st stage, there were 51% (21 students) who had score for learning result above the minimum standardize score which is 75. 2nd stage found there were 73% (30 students) who had score for learning result above the minimum standardize score which is 75. And in the 3rd stage, there were 85% (35 students) who had score for learning result above the minimum standardize score which is 75. Moreover, cartoon character art board media able to increase students’ activity to learn as well. Active level percentage in the first cycle was 12%. In the second cycle was increasing to 38%. And in the third cycle significantly increased to 54%. The conclusion of the research is the using of cartoon character art board as a media could increase the Social Studies learning result and the active level of the students, therefor the students could get a better score for social studies subject which is above the minimum standardize score 75.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang Strategi Pembelajaran Bimbingan Belajar LCC dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SMP Pada Pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Tutor IPS dan Siswa SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan tutor IPS berpacu pada beberapa konsep strategi pembelajaran, seperti Menyusun tujuan pembelajaran, Merangkai kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilaksanakan; Melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran IPS, membuat target-target yang harus dicapai oleh peserta didik; Membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi nyaman dan rilex; Melalui kegiatan edukasi tutor ips memberikan motivasi belajar, menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Misalnya metode role playing, diskusi, games, tanya-jawab yang membuat mereka merasa semangat kembali. Tutor-tutor IPS di LCC juga menerapkan berbagai macam ciri-ciri metode yang baik seperti pengggunaan fasilitas LCC sebagai penunjang pembelajaran. Fasilitas pembelajaran yang dimaksud seperti Roadshow PTN, Dream School, dsb; Membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi relax dan santai, mengikuti saran/kritik dari siswa; Membuat materi pelajaran menjadi luas, dan memberikan praktik serta teori; Memberikan siswa kesempatan untuk mengemukakan pendapat dan mampu menempatkan diri sebagai pengajar dalam posisi yang tepat, terhormat. Konsep pembelajaran di LCC yaitu menggunakan metode fast learning sudah berjalan dengan baik. Melihat sikap belajar siswa yang tergolong baik dan termotivasi dengan cara tutor IPS dalam mengajar.

This study aims to provide an overview of the conditions of family welfare in the Pasar Ikan society after being relocated in the environment of  Rumah Susun Rawa Bebek, East Jakarta. The research uses descriptive methode, with data collection techniques through closed questionnaires (questionnaires), observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study are the representatives of family members from the Pasar Ikan society. The results of the study indicate that there is a dynamic condition of the family welfare of the Pasar Ikan society. These dynamics can be seen from various aspects of life. The economic aspects of family welfare have decreased because the community lost their jobs after being relocated from Pasar Ikan neighborhood. In the social aspects of public awareness of living orderly and improving skills, but the social interaction between family and neighbors was increasing tight due to the equality of fate. In conditions of education and health, conditions have increased because the government is still responsible in providing access to education and health insurance. Whereas in the condition of the living environment, there is an increase in terms of cleanliness and orderliness of residential buildings, while the location of the neighborhood of flat to business places tends to be not ideal. In conclusion the family welfare of the Pasar Ikan society has not been said to be prosperous in various fields, while the factors that affect the welfare of the family are seen from; number of family members, residence, socio-economic conditions, and family economic conditions.   Abstrak  Aulia Istitoah Zahriani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket (kuesioner) tertutup, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah perwakilan anggota keluarga dari masyarakat Pasar Ikan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya dinamika kondisi kesejahteraan keluarga masyarakat Pasar Ikan. Dinamika tersebut dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek kehidupan. Pada aspek ekonomi kesejahateraan keluarga mengalami penurunan karena masyarakat kehilangan pekerjaannya ketika di Pasar Ikan. Pada aspek sosial mengenai kesadaran masyarakat akan hidup tertib dan meningkatkan skill mengalami penurunan, namun interaksi sosial sesama keluarga dan tetangga semakin erat karena adanya persamaan nasib.. Dapat dikatakan bahwa kesejahteraan keluarga pada masyarakat Pasar Ikan belum dikatakan sejahtera dalam berbagai bidang, sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan keluarga dilihat dari; jumlah anggota keluarga, tempat tinggal, keadaan sosial ekonomi, dan keadaan ekonomi keluarga. Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know why teachers must form a pluralism attitude in students in West Jakarta's Tzu Chi Loving Middle School? (2) How do teachers shape pluralism in the Tzu Chi Loving Middle School? provide an overview of the teacher in forming a pluralism attitude at the Cinta Tzu Chi Middle School, West Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive, with data collection techniques through closed questionnaires (questionnaires), observation, interviews and documentation. The subject of this study was the Tzu Chi love junior high school teacher and the Tzu Chi Loving Middle School Student. The results showed that (1) the Tzu Chi Loving Middle School is a school that has religion, as the spearhead in the world of education, teachers have a significant role in the process of developing, directing, and motivating students to become useful human beings for the nation and state . (2) How the teacher in forming the pluralism attitude of students can be seen from how the teacher makes planning and learning processes in the classroom, such as at the beginning the teacher gives advice and motivational sentences to students, then by using the learning method. However, both schools play an important role in the formation of pluralism in the Tzu Chi Loving Middle School so that the process of forming pluralism in diverse schools can work well. Abstract

This research aims to find out the use of Kahoot media to increase result of social sciences learning. This is researched in VII-F class with 36 students in Junior High School of 92 Jakarta since March to April 2019. The method used in this research is classroom action research that uses three cycles, each of cycles consists of four steps; Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. According to research, the learning result occurs enhancement each of cycle. In the first cycle as big as 42% (15 students) reaches score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 68, second cycle becomes 67% (24 students) reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 74, and in the third cycle becomes 83% (30 students) reaching score above minimum completeness criteria 72 with average of learning result 83. Besides the increasing of learning result, student activeness of each cycle also improves, that's in first cycle of activity of active students in the ability to ask 9%, answer 11%, think 14%, and solve problems 14%. Then in second cycle there was an increase in activeness of students who were active in their ability to ask 22%, answer 17%, argue 20%, and solve problems 20%.  Then in third cycle in cycle 3 students who are active in the aspect of ability to ask 64%, answer 61%, argue 58%, and solve problems 56%. It can be concluded that the use of Kahoot media can increase the result of social studies learning and increasing the activeness of students in VII-F class at Junior High School of 92 Jakarta.
