Abstract

Hadhramaut Yaman has a tradition of intellectualism that attract students in Indonesia. More and more students plan to deepen their religious knowledge at three pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Tarim, Hadhramaut, namely Darul Musthofa, Rubath Tarim, and al-Ahgaff University. This research discusses the historical study of Hadhramaut and traces of intellectualism between Hadhramaut Ulama (scholars) with Indonesian Ulama from the Kitab Kuning (yellow book) commonly studied in pesantren. In addition, it will analyse the role of Tarim Hadhramaut alumni in developing the da'wah movement in Indonesia. This research uses literature studies through a historical approach by collecting previous research through books, articles, online news, and library studies, field observations will also be conducted. This study shows that the genealogy trace between Walisongo and the Alawiyyin in Hadhramaut. In addition, the network of Hadhramaut Ulama with Nusantara has an intellectual impact, such as the book Safinatun najah by Sheikh Salim bin Sumair received appreciation by giving explanations and commentary by Nusantara Ulama. The Habib in Tarim still has a strong da'wah influence in Indonesia, especially after the first 30 students of Darul Musthofa became alumni and established ta'lim assembly or pesantren. Hadhramaut pesantren network is connected through santri (student) who studied at Darul Musthofa, Rubath Tarim, and al-Ahgaff University. The three institutions show an inclusive character suitable for application in Indonesian pesantren.

Abstract

The production of bottled drinking water (AMDK) has growth of 10.4% from 2010 to 2019. One of the AMDK companies located in Samarinda City is PT XYZ. The produced product is water packaged in 220 ml glass containers. The raw materials for the 220 ml water packaging product include cups, cup lids, straws, cardboard boxes, and cardboard dividers. The AMDK business operated by PT XYZ has only been in operation since 2021, and there is currently no inventory planning and control for the raw materials used in the packaging of the 220 ml AMDK product. This has resulted in a lack of packaging raw material inventory, thus hindering the AMDK production process in the company. Based on this issue, this research is conducted to plan and control the inventory of 220 ml water packaging raw materials at PT XYZ, in order to optimize inventory costs and meet consumer demand for AMDK. Inventory planning and control are carried out using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method, and the method used to determine the lot size is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method with shipping capacity constraints. Based on the data processing conducted, the optimal order quantities using the EOQ method with shipping capacity constraints for each packaging raw material are 15.000 pieces for cardboard and cardboard dividers with an inventory cost of IDR 267.112.900. 1.500.000 pieces for straws with an inventory cost of IDR 46.831.630. 540.000 pieces for cups with an inventory cost of IDR 232.026.718. 150 rolls for cup lids with an inventory cost of IDR 87.125.910. The total inventory cost for packaging raw materials for 220 ml AMDK cups is IDR 633.097.158.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Siantar Narumonda is a high school located on Jalan SMA Negeri Narumonda, Narumonda I, Kec. Siantar Narumonda, Toba Regency. Currently, the principal and teachers of SMAN 1 Siantar Narumonda still use manual methods in determining outstanding students using spread sheets in the Microsoft Excel program which seems very ineffective and inefficient because spread sheets can no longer meet the requirements for timeliness, speed and accuracy in data management. the number is large, so it takes quite a long time to process it because you have to look at a lot of tables in Excel. In solving the problem above, it is necessary to solve the problem by creating a decision support system using the AHP and TOPSIS methods. This research combines AHP and TOPSIS with the aim of obtaining accurate results in providing recommendations for decision makers in accordance with the objectives and implementation model carried out. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it was found that AHP and TOPSIS provide objective and reliable results in determining outstanding students. This application can speed up the selection process and reduce the potential for human error.

Abstract

Coastal areas are classified as highly vulnerable because they are always tied to changes in the global aquatic environment. The ecosystem dynamics are increasingly complicated and complex as a result of interactions with other systems on land. This phenomenon is very visible in the coastal areas of Bantul Regency and Kulon Progo Regency. We use Sentinel-2 satellite image interpretation in the period 2013-2022 as a historical record of land use change, and then explore it with Niklas Luhmann's social system theory to understand how communities and government mean the ecological system represented by activities in coastal areas. The results showed that the community and the Government massively changed the original ecosystem of pes-caprae with the dominant afforestation of shrimp cypress. For the community, afforestation is assumed to support production agriculture, from subsistence agriculture. For the government, afforestation is a misconception about reforestation and protecting vital infrastructure such as Yogyakarta International Airport. The main capital for change is technology and its knowledge, and economic capital obtained from production. The economic capital obtained is used for social transformation, including eliminating the stigma of poor, uninformed, and inferior coastal communities. The results achieved change the meaning of land from previously only to support daily livelihoods to production factors that have very high economic and social value. Any attempt to change the establishment of the social and economic system will be met with strong resistance from the community. Under these conditions, the sustainability discourse that we are developing is to build an institutionalized knowledge system, which is carried out repeatedly and continuously, which is important for the community to understand because its dynamics will continue to develop in the future.Received: 2024-10-23 Revised: 2025-02-07 Accepted: 22025-04-16 Published: 2025-04-30

Abstract

Architectural work in a construction project, generally is a non-structural work. However, the implementation can require a long time and a large cost weight. The implementation of finishing work in multi-purpose building construction project of Gresik Regency that was already running and had problems, that is a lot of workers but lack of work progress, so an increase of the cost from budget planned. Therefore it needs to doing research that for get the actual time of project implementation and get Estimate at Completion (EAC). The results is that the actual time of project implementation is not suitable with time of project planning. The project has been to late so there is a decrease in project performance. In the 1st week of project implementation on time, in the 2nd week until the 15th week the project has been to late (schedule overrun). So based on the time of implementation, the project has decreased performance. The total estimated cost can be seen from the Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculation, which is Rp.274,424,152.89.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology allows human work to be replaced by robot technology. The most frequently used robot in industry is the robot arm. The robot arm can imitate the human arm's characteristics, so it is often used to help humans lift and move goods. With this principle, the robot arm can be used as a weight-lifting robot to aid in calibrating electronic scales. This paper analyzes the control of the DC motor on a weighing-scale lifting robot arm by optimizing the overshoot with PID (Proportional - Integral - Derivative) control. The PID Control test results on the DC motor rotation are stable at 100 rpm with a steady state error of 0%. The system's response to the DC motor has a settling time of 1,26 s and an overshoot of 2%.
