Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penggunaan Twitter sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa kelas 8 di SMP Negeri di kota Y, dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa yang dipilih secara acak dan dilakukan dalam tiga siklus tindakan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Setiap siklus memberikan wawasan tentang strategi pengajaran yang efektif dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi partisipatif, dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis siswa, terutama dalam kreativitas, struktur argumentasi, dan variasi penggunaan bahasa, dengan peningkatan rata-rata skor sebesar 25%. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan signifikan, seperti keterbatasan akses internet dan kebutuhan pelatihan lebih lanjut untuk guru. Rekomendasi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini termasuk peningkatan infrastruktur jaringan sekolah dan pelatihan intensif bagi pendidik. Dengan demikian, Twitter dapat menjadi alat pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif dalam mendukung Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, asalkan ada dukungan infrastruktur dan pelatihan yang memadai. Penelitian ini menawarkan panduan praktis untuk guru dalam mengintegrasikan media sosial ke dalam kurikulum secara efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh tujuh kebiasaan sehat terhadap fungsi eksekutif anak usia dini. Kebiasaan ini meliputi bangun pagi, beribadah, berolahraga, makan sehat bergizi, gemar belajar, bermasyarakat, dan tidur cepat. Fungsi eksekutif, yang mencakup perencanaan, pengendalian impuls, dan memori kerja, sangat penting bagi perkembangan kognitif anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, melibatkan anak PAUD sebagai subjek. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan sehat secara signifikan meningkatkan fungsi eksekutif, terutama dalam pengendalian impuls dan perencanaan. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya memasukkan kebiasaan sehat dalam kurikulum PAUD untuk mendukung perkembangan holistik. Juga, disarankan bagi pendidik dan orang tua untuk mengintegrasikan kebiasaan sehat ini dalam rutinitas anak guna membangun dasar karakter dan kesadaran digital citizenship di masa depan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pemanfaatan aplikasi berbasis digital sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran anak usia dini karena teknologi digital dapat menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, menarik, dan relevan bagi anak-anak akan tetapi sayangnya  tidak semua guru memiliki kecakapan dan mampu memilih jenis aplikasi pembelajaran yang sesuai, karena itulah maka dibutuhkan edukasi pelatihan dan sekaligus pendampingan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di PKG Kecamatan Citeureup Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi berbasis digital guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada anak usia dini. Melalui program pelatihan dan pendampingan ini, guru-guru diperkenalkan dengan berbagai aplikasi digital yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif, serta diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi tersebut. Metode: Metode pendampingan ini meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan praktis, evaluasi, dan diskusi studi kasus. Tahapannya terdiri dari persiapan (identifikasi kebutuhan dan materi), pelaksanaan (penggunaan aplikasi dan simulasi kelas), evaluasi (refleksi dan asesmen), serta tindak lanjut (monitoring dan dukungan berkelanjutan). Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan ini membantu guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digitalnya, memahami cara efektif mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta mampu merancang kegiatan yang lebih kreatif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak usia dini. Kesimpulan: Keberhasilan program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, menarik, dan berkualitas pada tingkat pendidikan anak usia dini, sekaligus mengakselerasi kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital di era pendidikan 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the maintenance and utilization of Educational Game Tools (EGT) in early childhood education institutions located in Depok, Tangerang, and Bogor, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we collected data from 67 early childhood education teachers across 30 institutions through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The quantitative analysis revealed that the average maintenance score of EGT was 76%, categorizing it as "good." Qualitative insights highlighted key maintenance practices, including routine inspections and prompt repairs, which are essential for ensuring the safety and functionality of the equipment. The findings underscore the importance of effective maintenance strategies in enhancing the educational environment and supporting children's holistic development. Recommendations for improving training programs for educators and increasing government support for EGT procurement and maintenance are also discussed.

Abstract

This research explores the pivotal influence of the Teacher Activator program in developing the Pancasila Student Profile and enhancing school culture. Conducted over six months in five Jakarta elementary schools, the study uses a qualitative Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with 15 teacher activators, 30 students, and five principals, and document analysis. The CAR method’s planning, action, observation, and reflection phases facilitated a structured analysis of Pancasila values integrated into educational activities. Results indicated a 25% improvement in students' understanding of Pancasila values. Despite insufficient facilities, teacher-led workshops and community support addressed these issues. Recommendations include improved teacher training on Pancasila values and better resources. This study highlights the Teacher Mobilization program’s success and suggests enhancements for broader educational impact in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research focuses on efforts to bridge the gap between physical education theory and teaching practice by implementing audio-visual media in the classroom. This study is a systematic literature review that evaluates the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in physical education teaching from 2020 to 2024. The theories bridged include visual learning theory and learning motivation theory, which are integrated into teaching practice through instructional videos, animations, and multimedia presentations. This research examined 21 studies involving secondary school students from various regions and countries, with a total of 1789 students participating. The study results show that using audio-visual media in physical education can significantly increase student motivation and involvement. However, implementing this media still faces various challenges, such as teachers' lack of understanding of technology, limited access to audio-visual devices, and inadequate training. To address this, the research recommends increasing specific teacher training on using audio-visual media, providing more comprehensive access to such technology, and supporting policies that encourage technology integration in physical education curricula. Thus, this research emphasizes integrating audio-visual media in physical education to bridge theory and practice and improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. This research also suggests concrete steps for implementation, such as ongoing training programs for teachers and regular evaluation of the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in the classroom.

Abstract

During critical periods, a child's cognitive, social, emotional, and language development is essential for their growth and development. The development of these skills involves cognitive, emotional and social skills, which are influenced by various factors such as IQ, EQ, SQ and RQ. The utilization of technology in education is an important approach. One of the technologies that can be used is the wordwall application. The utilization of this technology was chosen because when students listen to stories told by the teacher in class through picture storybooks, children do not focus on listening so that the meaning or content in the contents of the storybook that is read is not understood by students. After five to ten minutes, the children are already running around looking for more interesting things. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of wordwall application on language, social and emotional development of early childhood. The research method used is the experimental method, with a pre-assessment and post-assessment research design, while the type of research is quantitative whose research results are: 1) Wordwall application has an effect on early childhood language development with the results of research p value of 0.016 <0.05, 2) Wordwall application affects early childhood social development with the results of research p value of 0.017 <0.05, 3) Wordwall application affects early childhood emotional development with the results of research p value of 0.007 <0.05.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of picture storybooks on children's language skills at TKN 1 Selat Penuguan. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population for this study comprised all 17 students from Group B at TKN 1 Selat Penuguan. The sampling technique utilized was total sampling, consisting of all 17 TKN 1 Selat Penuguan students. The instrument used in this study was an observation sheet for children's language abilities. In this research, the dependent variable consisted of two variables: before and after. Consequently, a paired sample t-test was conducted to analyze the data using SPSS software. The study's results indicated a significant difference in the mean language ability scores before and after the implementation of picture storybooks, confirming the effectiveness of this learning medium in enhancing children's language development. This study aligns with previous research findings that also discovered a positive correlation between the use of picture storybooks and early childhood language development.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of maritime-oriented learning through singing at Al Qaariah Kindergarten, Renda Village, Towea District, Muna Regency. Singing was chosen as a learning method to integrate maritime concepts into the early childhood education curriculum. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The research participants consisted of 30 young children at Al Qaariah Kindergarten. Data were collected through classroom observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation analysis. The results showed that the consistent use of singing media can improve children's understanding of maritime concepts, such as marine life, maritime transportation, and the diversity of maritime culture. In addition, maritime-oriented learning through singing media also helps develop social skills, creativity and love for the marine environment. Teachers and parents gave positive responses to the implementation of this learning, noting an increase in children's enthusiasm and participation in learning activities. This research contributes to the understanding of the importance of a maritime-minded approach in early childhood learning and demonstrates that singing can be an effective tool in bringing this concept to young children in a fun and interactive way. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for the development of similar learning methods in other educational institutions that want to integrate a maritime approach in their curriculum.

Abstract

Digital marketing has become a crucial aspect in enhancing the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the era of globalization and digitalization. This article aims to discuss the efforts in strengthening the digital marketing capacity of MSMEs in Cileungsi, which plays a key role in accelerating their business growth. Various digital marketing strategies, such as the use of social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital advertising, have proven effective in expanding market reach and increasing the visibility of MSME products. However, many MSMEs in Cileungsi still face challenges related to limited technological knowledge and budget constraints. Therefore, training and mentoring on how to utilize the appropriate digital platforms and relevant marketing tools are essential to overcoming these obstacles. This article also highlights the importance of using data analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and build better customer relationships through digitalization. With strengthened digital marketing capacity, MSMEs in Cileungsi are expected to tap into broader market potential, improve competitiveness, and accelerate their business growth sustainably.
