Abstract

Stimulating children's creativity through social media is important by utilizing platforms that are relevant to their interests and daily interactions. This research aims to determine the benefits of using smartphone technology in stimulating creativity in early childhood through exploratory whipping activities. With the increasing adoption of technology into various aspects of life, including early childhood education, it is important to understand its positive and negative impacts. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach and focused observation on group B children at RA Al-Islam Petabumi, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province who are involved in TikTok exploration activities using smartphones. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews, and field notes. This research shows that the use of smartphone technology, especially through applications such as TikTok, can trigger creativity in young children. By taking part in various creative content and challenges on TikTok, children can engage in a process of self-exploration that allows them to develop their creative skills. This shows that social media can be an effective tool for stimulating imagination and innovation in young children. Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational game tool, the alphabet box, to help Group B children at TK Al Pikri Bojongmangu recognize letters. Early childhood has unique characteristics and requires positive stimulation for the development of various aspects, including language development. Language development in children is very important as it is a tool for thinking, self-expression, and communication. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The development process of this game tool involves several stages, starting from needs analysis, design, prototyping, to testing and evaluation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires given to teachers and children at TK Al Pikri Bojongmangu. The results of the study show that the alphabet box is effective in improving children's ability to recognize letters. Children become more interested and motivated to learn letters through this game. Teachers also responded positively to the use of this tool in the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that the alphabet box can be an effective and enjoyable tool for letter recognition for early childhood. The use of educational game tools like this can optimally support children's language development.

This research aims to develop an educational game titled "Guess the Pictures and Letters" which is designed to improve the cognitive development of early childhood. This game was developed through a systematic approach using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model with the aim of identifying the needs of children in PAUD Annawawiyah Arrahmaniyah and implementing solutions that are in accordance with their cognitive development characteristics. This game is designed to improve logical thinking skills, imagination, and understanding of pictures and letters by using interactive and interesting elements such as drag-and-drop, puzzles, and choices that children can choose from. The research findings indicate that the educational guessing game for images and letters that has been developed has been tested and validated by experts, demonstrating that this game has good quality and is suitable for use by children aged 4-5 years in developing their cognitive abilities The validation results confirm that this game can be accessed both individually and in groups, and can be integrated into existing curricula Furthermore, out of the 10 subjects tested, the majority fell into the category of Developing as Expected (40%), followed by Starting to Develop (30%), Developing Very Well (20%), and Not Developing (10%) Subject-02 and Subject-06 achieved the highest scores, while Subject-09 had the lowest score. The conclusion drawn from this research is that the development of educational games for guessing images and letters has proceeded systematically and has identified relevant needs for enhancing logical thinking, imagination, and understanding of images and letters in young children This study proves that educational games can be an effective tool in improving the cognitive development of young children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di Pekanbaru. Fokus utamanya adalah memahami bagaimana Kurikulum Merdeka dapat secara efektif mempersiapkan anak-anak untuk sekolah dasar dengan pendekatan transisi yang menyenangkan. Menggunakan metode studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini di Pekanbaru. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan pendidik, orang tua, dan staf, serta analisis dokumen terkait Kurikulum Merdeka. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis konten untuk mengeksplorasi strategi pengajaran, pemahaman, dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, serta dampaknya terhadap transisi ke sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang potensi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini dan memfasilitasi transisi ke sekolah dasar. Implikasi praktis dari studi ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi lembaga pendidikan, guru, dan orang tua dalam mengoptimalkan Kurikulum Merdeka untuk menciptakan pengalaman transisi yang positif dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak di Pekanbaru. Selain itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan konsep dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian validitas cerita bergambar yang mencerminkan Kearifan Lokal Peduli Lingkungan di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Kearifan lokal penting untuk memahami hubungan masyarakat dengan lingkungannya. Instrumen yang sahih diperlukan untuk mengukur validitas cerita bergambar berseri sebagai representasi kearifan lokal dalam konteks peduli lingkungan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan instrumen dengan tahap perencanaan, pengembangan, uji coba, dan analisis. Subjek penelitian melibatkan responden yang memahami Kearifan Lokal Peduli Lingkungan di Karawang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, studi literatur, serta observasi cerita bergambar yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas tinggi dalam mengukur kearifan lokal peduli lingkungan. Analisis statistik mendukung reliabilitas dan validitas instrumen, sehingga instrumen ini efektif untuk menilai cerita bergambar berseri dalam konteks kearifan lokal di Karawang. Penelitian ini berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan instrumen penilaian yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur keberlanjutan program pendidikan kearifan lokal peduli lingkungan di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Selain itu, temuan penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi peneliti dan praktisi untuk memperkuat peran kearifan lokal dalam pelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, mengedepankan keberagaman dan memperhatikan perbedaan individu. Manfaat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat dilihat dari beberapa aspek. Kendala yang dirasakan guru dalam pembelajaran yang tidak efektif  karena pola mengajar guru yang tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan anak didik. Pembelajaran yang selama ini terfokus pada guru, perintah guru, kurang nya fasilitas media main anak, sehingga tidak ada pilihan main, media kurang bervariatif sehingga dampaknya pembelajaran menjadi tidak efektif. Kegiatan auting clas  merupakan ikhtiar bagi guru dalam memodifikasi pembelajaran agar anak tidak merasa bosan maupun kurang bersemangat dalam belajar, kegiatan ini juga di orientasikan untuk menumbuhkan cara berfikir yang kreatif dan eksploratif berdasarkan pengalaman belajarnya diluar kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat melihat secara utuh dan kompherehensip model pembelajaran berdeferensiasi melalui kegiatan auting class sebagai Upaya guru dalam menciptakan model pembelajaran  yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dilakukan di PAUD Ceria Kabupaten Bekasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fun cooking memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan praktis, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran. Fun cooking juga dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, memadukan pendekatan belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna dengan kemampuan siswa secara individu

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum Policy is a strategic step in Indonesia's educational reform, and this study is a collaborative effort to understand its implementation at the Senior High School (SMA) level. We aim to conduct an in-depth analysis, with particular attention to the process of understanding, application, and its impact on teaching and learning activities. The research employs a qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The primary respondents are teachers, students, and school staff actively involved in the policy implementation, making this a truly inclusive and comprehensive study. The findings reveal that implementing the Merdeka Curriculum Policy in high schools faces challenges, such as inconsistent understanding of the policy among teachers, the need for ongoing training to enhance teacher competencies, and infrastructure limitations that hinder optimal application. Nevertheless, notable successes include increased creativity in learning, active student engagement in learning processes, and the emergence of innovations in teaching methods. Further analysis indicates that active teacher participation and managerial support from the school are critical success factors in implementing this policy. This research is not just an academic exercise but a practical guide for the development of educational policies. By providing insights into the challenges and opportunities of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, we aim to empower policymakers with the knowledge to design more effective implementation strategies. This study also serves as a beacon of hope for other schools facing similar situations, offering practical guidance and enriching the academic literature on the dynamics of educational policy in Indonesia, particularly at the high school level.

Abstract

Students who are educated with HOTS are able to apply what they have in new situations. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of how to implement research in early childhood by using Padlet learning tools so that it can develop HOTS skills in learning. The research was conducted at TKIT Nurul Fikri, West Java. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles Huberman model. HOTS skills developed in research learning using Padlet are analysis, evaluation, and creation. The stages of research learning are making observations, making research questions, making research designs, making research sheets, carrying out, and communicating research results. Research learning using padlets motivates children to complete their tasks, breaks boredom, and creates an emotional connection with the material and can be well documented.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using STEAM learning videos about fruit salad making in improving cognitive skills of children aged 5-6 years at Rising Stars Kindergarten Jakarta. The research type used is experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research population comprises all 20 students aged 5-6 years at Rising Stars Kindergarten Jakarta. The sampling technique uses total sampling, so the entire population is used as the research sample. The data collection technique uses structured observation with an instrument in the form of an observation sheet consisting of 10 items to measure children's cognitive skills, including the ability to observe, compare, classify, and solve simple problems. The instrument's validity was tested using construct and content validity, while reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha. The data analysis technique uses descriptive and inferential statistics. The prerequisite analysis test includes a normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and a homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing uses a paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results show a significant increase in the average score of children's cognitive skills from 42.875 in the pre-test to 83.750 in the post-test. Hypothesis testing yields a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results.

Abstract

The integration of deep learning into university mathematics education presents transformative possibilities. This study conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), examining 80 studies from sources like IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The focus was on the application of deep learning in formal education, excluding non-educational contexts. Findings indicate that deep learning enhances learning through interactive visualization and simulation tools, with virtual reality applications improving geometry and statistics comprehension by up to 30% compared to traditional methods. Challenges such as limited infrastructure and resistance from lecturers were identified. To address these, the study advocates for regular technology-based training for lecturers and gradual curriculum integration of technology. Strengthening collaboration between universities, the technology industry, and policymakers is recommended to support implementation. Additionally, the proposal of an online evaluation platform is suggested to continuously monitor student competency improvements. A systematic approach to implementing deep learning is anticipated to optimize mathematics education effectiveness in universities, preparing students for complex workforce challenges.
