Abstract

This study scrutinizes the link between transformational leadership, compensation, work environment, and employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction was also investigated as a mediating variable. A total of 57 employees of Perum Perhutani Kebumen were involved in the survey from September 2023 to November 2023. Data analysis in this study was carried out using Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) 3rd version. Questionnaires were employed in the survey process. The result revealed that transformational leadership and compensation display positively affect employee performance. In contrast, this study also indicates that the non-physical environment has an insignificant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Furthermore, based on the specific indirect effect, this study also found that job satisfaction shares a mediating effect in the connection between transformational leadership and employee performance. Job satisfaction also has a mediating effect on the compensation-employee performance connection. This research suggests both practical and theoretical implications regarding how to improve employee performance

Abstract

Understanding the agronomic characteristics of sweetpotato grown in wetland is critical to optimise cultivation and maximise yield. By studying factors such as plant morphology and yield, as well as environmental conditions, is important to identify varieties and cultivation practices that are most suitable for specific agroecological zones. This research aims to study the agronomic characters of nagara sweet potato in South Kalimantan's wetlands and identify abiotic factors that support its growth. A total of 15 sweet potato accessions were randomly sampled in sweet potato cultivation hotspot areas in July 2024. Hierarchical cluster analysis was conducted to see the similarity of the accessions found. The results showed that the agronomic characters of sweet potato accessions differed from the registered variety (Ubi Nagara KB-1), especially in characteristics type & number of leaf lobes, shape and number of tubers. Sweet potato yield was also found to be lower (14 t ha-1) compared to Ubi Nagara KB-1 (20 t ha-1). Abiotic data were found to be favourable for sweet potato agronomy, except for pH. The accessions found are still recommended to be developed in lebak swamp land, due to their adaptability and potential which is still higher than sweet potato in general (in dry land). Genetic testing is needed to prove that morphological differences are caused by different varieties (genetic) or decreased environmental conditions. ABSTRAK Karakteristik agronomi ubi jalar yang ditanam di lahan basah sangat penting dipelajari untuk mengoptimalkan budidaya dan memaksimalkan hasil panen. Pemahaman faktor-faktor seperti morfologi dan hasil tanaman, serta kondisi lingkungan, penting untuk mengidentifikasi varietas dan praktik budidaya yang paling sesuai untuk zona agroekologi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari karakter agronomi ubi nagara di lahan rawa lebak Kalimantan Selatan dan mengidentifikasi faktor abiotik yang mendukung pertumbuhannya. Sebanyak 15 aksesi ubi jalar diambil secara acak di area sentra budidaya ubi pada Juli 2024. Analisis kluster hierarki dilakukan untuk melihat kekerabatan aksesi yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter agronomi aksesi ubi jalar berbeda dengan varietas yang terdaftar (Ubi Nagara KB-1), terutama pada ciri tipe, jumlah cuping daun, bentuk dan jumlah umbi. Hasil ubi jalar juga ditemukan lebih rendah (14 t ha-1) dibandingkan dengan Ubi Nagara KB-1 (20 t ha-1). Data abiotik ditemukan mendukung agronomi ubi jalar, kecuali pH. Aksesi yang ditemukan masih direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan di lahan rawa lebak, karena adaptabilitas dan potensinya yang masih lebih tinggi dibanding ubi jalar secara umum (di lahan kering). Uji genetik diperlukan untuk membuktikan perbedaan morfologi disebabkan oleh varietas berbeda (genetik) atau penurunan kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

Desa Banyutowo, Kabupaten Pati, tengah berupaya meningkatkan pelayanan publik melalui implementasi teknologi informasi. Artikel ini menganalisis inisiatif desa dalam mengadopsi teknologi untuk mewujudkan pelayanan yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi informasi, seperti aplikasi pengaduan masyarakat, telah meningkatkan transparansi, aksesibilitas, dan kepuasan warga. Metode yang digunakan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil PkM  ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi desa-desa lain yang ingin mengoptimalkan pelayanan melalui teknologi informasi dan hasil yang didapatkan kenaikan hasil pretest dan posttest  pada penggunaan menu login 25 %, penggunaan menu profil sebanyak 40 % dan penggunaan menu pengaduan masyarakat sebanyak 40 %

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of foreign labor on the performance of local employees in garments companies through a literature review approach. In recent years, many garments companies have integrated foreign labor to improve efficiency and global competitiveness. However, the impact of foreign labor on local employee performance remains a controversial topic. By analyzing various relevant literatures, this study identifies the factors that influence the relationship between foreign labor and local employee performance, both directly and indirectly. The review shows that foreign labor can improve technical skills and introduce new technologies that have the potential to increase productivity. However, this can also lead to competition in the workplace which leads to a decrease in the morale and motivation of local employees. In addition, cultural influences and social dynamics in the work environment are important aspects in the relationship between foreign labor and local employees. This research provides a deeper understanding of the interaction between the two workforce groups and its implications for local employee performance. The findings are expected to provide recommendations for human resource managers in designing more effective policies in managing workforce diversity in garments companies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai Moderasi beragama dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter siswa di RA Nawa Kartika Ngarengan Kabupaten Ngawi. Peran pembelajaran tentang nilai-nilai moderasi beragama terhadap pendidikan karakter siswa sangat pentig diterapkan sejak dini karena menjadi dasar dan pedoman kehidupan supaya menjadi generasi penerus bangsa yang berkualitas serta mampu berkontribusi dalam pembangunan Nasional. Implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama terhadap Pendidikan Karakter siswa adalah merupakan sarana dan media dalam pemahaman dalam sikap toleransi serta cinta tanah air. Studi ini mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di RA Nawa Kartika Ngarengan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Bahwa Implementasi nilai moderasi beragama sebagai dasar pendidikan karakter siswa RA Nawa Kartika Ngarengan dilaksanakan dengan metode pembiasaan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Metode pembiasaan dilakukan dengan cara mebiasakan pada siswa untuk mengucap salam saat masuk dan keluar kelas, berdoa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan, mencuci tangan sebelum makan dam membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Sedangkan media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah berupa banner bergambar yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai moderasi yang penggunaanya seperti bermain ular tangga. Implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam menanam pendidikan karakter memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pencegahan sikap bullying antar teman sebaya. Penerapan pembiasaan dan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan inovatif menjadikan pemahaman tentang konsep moderasi beragama dapat menjadi landasan dalam membangun dan menanamkan pendidikan karakter siswa. Akan tetapi, masih diperlukan Pembinaan dan pelatihan untuk guru dalam penguasaan materi dan media inovatif untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam implementasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, serta komitmen bersama, kolaboratif dengan pihak orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang menghargai hak tanpa adanya perbedaan.

Abstract

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT. SAMKYUNG JAYA GARMENTS plays a role in enhancing the economic empowerment of Vilage Wringin Putih community through skill training and business facility assistance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the CSR program and its impact on participants using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation of the CSR policies of the company. Data analysis used the interactive model analysis method, consisting of data collection, data display, data condensation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that this program provides significant economic benefits to participants, including increased professionalism in business management and opportunities to create jobs for the surrounding community. However, there are some challenges in program implementation, such as limited canteen operational hours, business competition, and price fluctuations of essential goods. To improve the effectiveness and sustainability of the program, a sustainable entrepreneurship strategy is needed to encourage innovation and adaptation in business management. Thus, the CSR program is not only a form of corporate social responsibility but also an instrument to create sustainable economic independence for the community.

Abstract

One of the conditions faced by airplanes when moving through the air is the very cold surrounding air temperature. If the altitude increases, the air temperature will decrease, from around 17℃ to -52℃. For every 100 meter increase in height the temperature decreases by 0.61oC.To prevent the occurrence of ice lumps on the surface of the aircraft due to the surrounding air temperature reaching -520 C which can cause interference and endanger flight safety, certain parts of the aircraft surface are equipped with a heating system (anti-ice system) to melt the ice lumps into liquid. one of which is installed on the glass of the aircraft steering room (cockpit) which is usually called the windows anti-ice system. Several reports of incidents involving the cockpit glass heating system experiencing problems were caused by sensors that were not working normally. This research aims to determine the performance of the sensor regarding changes in the temperature of the cockpit glass using the method of measuring the sensor resistance value and the temperature of the cockpit glass. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as material for further research to determine the reliability of the sensors installed in the cockpit glass from analysis of data on changes in resistance values to temperature and sensor age since the glass was installed on the aircraft. So it can be predicted when the B737-800 cockpit glass must be replaced before damage occurs during aircraft operation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the educational strategies implemented at Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School in shaping future leaders based on Islamic values. The main focus of this study includes three aspects: strengthening foreign languages, integration of religious and general subjects, and a contextual approach through evaluation and self-development of santri. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with caregivers, teachers, and santri, as well as observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which consists of three main steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that foreign language strengthening is carried out through language zone programs and international student exchanges. Santri are accustomed to using Arabic and English actively in daily life, which aims to form self-confidence and global da'wah abilities. This strategy creates an immersive environment that encourages natural and contextualized language use. The integration of religious and general studies is implemented by inserting Islamic values in science and technology materials, so that students are able to see science as part of the signs of Allah's greatness. Meanwhile, the contextual approach and evaluation system based on Islamic values are carried out through weekly muhasabah, moral evaluation, and continuous character building. This strategy plays an important role in shaping the personality of students who are disciplined, responsible, and have good character.

Abstract

Background: Conjunctival tumor patients tend to exhibit a compromised health-related quality of life (HR-QoL) as a consequence of their condition.Objectives: To explore the quality-of-life (QoL) of conjunctival tumor patients and its association with psychological distress in Indonesia.Methods: A cross-sectional study with simple random sampling was used. Data collection occurred from May 9 to August 31, 2024. The health-related dimensions of quality of life were measured utilizing the reliable RAND SF-36, while psychological distress was assessed with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). We performed statistical analyses using version 26 of IBM SPSS, with normality assessed via skewness.Results: A total of 260 conjunctival tumors completed health assessments, revealing significant psychological distress and the RAND SF 36 questionnaire. The mean age was 51, 52.3% male, and 86.2% married. Participants had an average HADS anxiety score of 9.52, with 60.8% exhibiting anxiety, notably higher in those with malignant tumors (mean score: 10.64) compared to benign tumors (mean score: 8.57, p<0.001). Depression scores averaged 6.97, with 37.7% showing potential mild disorders. Health-related quality of life (HR-\QoL) was appraised across various domains, alongside overall physical functioning, averaging 60.76; benign patients scored significantly higher (71.95) than malignant patients (47.50). Correlations indicated that higher psychological distress negatively impacted QoL, with anxiety showing a strong correlation coefficient of -0.433 and depression at -0.306 (both p<0.001).Conclusion: Psychological distress is prevalent in conjunctival tumor patients, adversely affecting their QoL. These findings highlight the necessity of targeted interventions to enhance both physical fitness and mental wellness—challenges in this population. Further research is essential to develop effective support strategies tailored to their needs.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, kebutuhan akan kemudahan akses informasi semakin meningkat, terutama dalam industry tour and travel. Konsumen tidak lagi mengandalkan kunjungan langsung kea gen perjalanan, melainkan mencari informasi secara online yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan Dimana saja, hal ini dipicu oleh mobilitas yang semakin tinggi serta kebutuhan akan efisiensi waktu dalam merencanakan perjalanan. Perancangan sistem dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Agile merupakan kumpulan beberapa metode pengembangan perangkat lunak secara berulang dan bertahap sesuai kebutuhan. Metode ini digunakan dikarnakan saat pembuatan software sedang berlangsung tetap efesien daan flekxibel terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Sistem perancangan ini memakai JavaScript, Bootstrip, Cascading Style Sheet, HTML, Visual Studio Code, dan Algoritme Genetika. . Hasil penelitian, dengan menggunakan media website PT. MULTIBUANA INTI KREASI lebih banyak dikenal masyarakat dan bisa meningkatkan antusiasme masyarakat untuk mengetahuin info seputar tour dan travel, website juga bisa membuat penyampaian pesan menjadi menarik, komunikatif, mudah dimengerti dan tidak membosankan. satu media komunikasi modern, sehingga target audience dapat mengetahui lebih jelas dan hasil pengujian semua fitur di website tersebut optimal dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Saran dari peneliti selanjutnya, menyederhanakan proses input data pemesanan sehingga data yang di hasilkan sudah sesuai dengan data pemesanan tiket.
