Abstract

The advancement of information technology has greatly impacted various aspects of human life, including the Indonesian Navy. This progress has given rise to the concept of Cyber Warfare, which involves conducting warfare through information technology. Cyber warfare refers to actions taken by a country or international organization to attack and undermine another country's computer or information networks, typically through means like viruses or denial of service attacks. In light of these circumstances and challenges, the authors undertook an analysis to assess the readiness of the Indonesian Navy in dealing with the threat of cyber attacks, both domestically and internationally. This research employed cyber warfare threat modelling, which involved weighing and prioritizing key variables such as offensive cyber operations, cyber espionage operations, and cyber support. The objective of this study was to develop a Cyber Warfare threat model to support the responsibilities of the Indonesian Navy. Data processing for this research involved collecting relevant data from activities conducted at Satsiberal Headquarters, which was then analyzed using Fuzzy weighting. Additionally, the Dynamic System modelling method was employed to ascertain the interrelationships between variables and simulate the best alternative scenario. The results of the modellingg and simulation provided valuable insights for addressing the cyber warfare threat effectivelyKeywords: Cyber Warfare Threats, Indonesian Navy, Dynamic System.

Abstract

This study examines Japan's historical revisionism related to the Nanjing Massacre during its 1937 invasion in the People's Republic of China. In 2015, UNESCO's response to include the Nanjing Massacre in the "Memory of the World Register" received backlash from Abe's government, resulting in a budget suspension from Japan. Japan wanted to be seen as a good country, leaving behind its past image as a war aggressor through historical revisionism. Using the concept of Shared Beliefs and Therapeutic Value, this article analyses homogeneous Japanese society that regards the Nanjing Massacre as something the Japanese government should not be apologetic about and the heterogeneous historical facts of the massacre itself. Finding suggests that Therapeutic Value from the denial comes from the failure of the U.S. and its allies to provide a deterrent effect post-WWII that resulted in victimization and melodrama promoted by the Japanese government. The government also uses narratives such as Toa Renmei Ron and Kami no Kuni as the main argument to boost Japanese superiority as a country. However, such revisionist strategy of the Nanjing Massacre is proven a failure to promote peace among the younger generation.

Abstract

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a horticultural commodity that is much needed and favored by the community because of its good taste, ease to get and cultivation is not too difficult. The higher the level of human awareness of healthy living, the need for mustard vegetables in the country also increases. Given the economic value and health benefits, it is natural that efforts to increase production continues. The research was conducted for four months starting from October 2019 to January 2020. Located on Jl. Ahmad Yani Km 36, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan Province. The design used is a Single-factor Randomized Design (RAL) that is a measure of chicken manure (P) consisting of five levels of treatment repeated four times so that 20 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that the provision of chicken manure in the soil ultisol has a real effect on the number of pakcoy leaves aged 20 days after planting, while other parameters have no real effect. The provision of chicken manure dose of 10 tons ha-1 (p2) equivalent to 20 grams per polybag produces a top weight of 105.50 grams.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Pompa Air Ganda; Banjir; Sensor WLC 61F-G ABSTRACTThis article presents a prototype of a dual water pump to drain inundation due to flooding using two three-phase induction motors and a control unit. This design has two Water Level Controller (WLC) 61F-G electrode sensors as a water level detector. The detector is used to regulate the performance of two water pump machines in the process of draining water. The test simulation results show that when the puddle is at a level of 5 cm and the electrode sensor points E3a, E2 and E1a are submerged, the first WLC 61F-G automatically turns on (ON) the first 3 phase induction motor, and if the puddle is at a height of 10 cm and immersing the electrode sensor points E3b, E2b and E1 then the second WLC 61F-G will activate the second 3-phase induction motor. However, if the water level is below 5 cm then both machines are OFF or not working. The hope of this research is that the system design can be implemented and can be placed in flood-prone areas, especially DKI Jakarta. Keywords: Dual Water Pumps; Flood; Sensor WLC 61F-G

Abstract

This research discusses risk management faced by submarines and their crews. One of the risks that can occur is that the submarine cannot surface because the steering and propulsion system is not functioning properly. With the submarine unable to surface, it will cause the ship to sit on the seabed. A submarine that experiences an emergency so that it cannot surface is called a Distressed Submarine (DISSUB). Through the FMEA method the author identifies risks and aims to prioritize different causes based on their priority. FMEA itself is a systematic method, so it can find out the root of the problem that actually occurs. By knowing how urgent the priority is, the author can focus on problems that have a big impact on ship operational risks. It is hoped that the research results can be used as recommendations for mitigating risks that occur on submarines, providing a risk management framework for submarines.

Abstract

Buffer zones have a strategic role in managing conflict. Properly determining a buffer zone can help reduce tensions between countries, prevent conflict escalation and provide time and space for the countries involved in diplomacy. In the context of Indonesia, as a large country in the Indo-Pacific region, determining the Indonesian Buffer Zone (IBZ) will have significant implications for regional and global security. Determinations must consider national interests and state security, while on the other hand, it is necessary to consider the interests of neighboring countries and maintain good relations. Therefore, it is important to identify these challenges and see opportunities for multilateral collaboration in determining the Indonesian Buffer Zone. In this research, the author intends to identify and determine perceptions of Indonesia's outer islands, which will be used as buffer zones using the Delphi method. In the next stage, the author will identify the criteria and sub-criteria for Indonesia's outermost islands in the Indo-Pacific Region as well as obtain ranking priorities using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach in developing the Indonesian Buffer Zone, so that analysis can be carried out to determine the right strategy for island development the chosen. Where, later the island area selected as the Indonesian buffer zone can be developed and utilized properly and appropriately. Furthermore, in the next stage, the author uses the Game Theory method to describe the comparison of capabilities and threat interactions between the buffer zone of selected outer islands in Indonesia compared to the buffer zone or military bases of countries from the BRICS and AUKUS alliances that have interests in the Indo-Pacific Region. In this research, it is assumed that the two defense pacts have implemented policies or strategies in this game in the context of developing their military strength in the Indo-Pacific Region. So, it is hoped that Indonesia, as the third player, can anticipate appropriate strategies and policies to maintain the stability of the Indo-Pacific Region.
