Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the variable performance expectancy, benefits, trust, self-efficacy, ease of use, and security on the use of electronic-based non-cash payment (e-payments) among students in Batam City, Riau Islands Province. The growth of e-payments in Indonesia has shown a high rate but it is still lagging behind that of several neighboring countries such as Vietnam and Thailand. Several studies on this subject have shown mixed results. By using primary data through the Smart PLS version 3.0 program tools, this study concluded that performance expectancy, benefits, self-efficacy showed a significant positive relationship with the e-payment intention, while trust, ease of use, and security showed insignificant. Based on these results, it is recommended that e-payment providers always pay attention to the needs of their users.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan pemerintah terkait ancaman pengangguran pasca kenaikan inflasi. Melakukan penelitian terkait tingkat pengangguran pada Provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian yang diaplikasikan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yaitu data dalam bentuk numerik (angka), metode pengambilan data serta analisis yang dipergunakan yaitu metode Analisis Data Sekunder (ADS). Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini ialah kebijakan yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah serta solusi yang dapat dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam menekan angka pengangguran melalui kebijakan fiskal dengan pemanfaatan pajak seperti mengembangkan UMKM dan mengoptimalkan penurunkan tarif pajaknya, meningkatkan efektivitas Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), memperluas sektor wisata dan akomodasi hotel, dan mengoptimalkan balai pelatihan kerja. Kata Kunci: Infasi Pengangguran Kebijakan Fiskal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi Perjalanan, Pengalaman Perjalanan, Gambaran Destinasi, Gambaran Negara, dan Electronic-Word of Mouth (E-WOM) terhadap Kepuasan dan Niat Berkunjung; dan apakah Kepuasan dapat memengaruhi Niat Berkunjung wisatawan ke Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Responden dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Responden penelitian ini adalah wisatawan asing berusia 18 tahun ke atas yang pernah berkunjung ke Kepulauan Riau, terutama Batam, Tanjungpinang, Bintan, dan Karimun. Populasi berjumlah 2.278 dengan sampel sebanyak 329 berdasarkan tabel slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis dengan Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian adalah Motivasi Perjalanan, Pengalaman Perjalanan, dan Electronic-Word of Mouth (E-WOM) tidak berpengaruh terhadap Niat Berkunjung. Kepuasan tidak memediasi Motivasi Perjalanan dan Pengalaman Perjalanan terhadap Niat Berkunjung. Namun, kepuasan memediasi pengaruh Electronic-Word of Mouth (E-WOM) terhadap Niat Berkunjung. Gambaran Destinasi dan Gambaran Negara berpengaruh positif terhadap Niat Berkunjung dan juga dimediasi Kepuasan.

Abstract

Knowledge about the existence of this Pink Tax is still very lacking in Indonesia. The Pink Tax weakens women's purchasing power by forcing them to spend more money on their daily needs, this creates unfair gender-based pricing. This study aims to analyze the effect of gender-based pricing, gender discrimination, gendered product marketing, price discrimination, and willingness to pay Pink Tax. This research method uses a primary data approach that is distributed to 263 people respondents, with the SmartPLS tool. The results of this research conclude that gender-based pricing only has an effect on Pink Tax, while gender discrimination, gendered product marketing, price discrimination, and willingness to pay do not have a significant effect on Pink Tax. These results indicate that brands often only take the opportunity to exaggerate women's goods and are considered the norm for women's consumption. It is also stated that gender discrimination is not only manifested in the form of price but can be directed in the form of diversification.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of CEO Education on Firm Performance. The sample covers 180 observations from IDX LQ45 listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2017 until 2020. The CEO Education is defined by the field of study in economic, management, business, or accounting. Firm Performance is measured by Tobin’s Q from market based perspective. Board characteristics and Stock Returns are used as control variables in this paper. The result shows that there’s a relationship between CEO Education and Firm Performance. CEO with economic, management, business, or accounting background have a positive and significant impacts on Firm Performance. The result becomes stronger with additional test of CEO Education measured by the level and quality of education on Firm Performance, supporting that CEO Education does enchance the Firm Performance.

Abstract

The increase in inflation that occurs causes the threat of unemployment in Indonesia. According to the BPS, 4.48 million Indonesians are unemployed in 2022. Cyclical unemployment is unemployment caused by a large-scale economic crisis (inflation), so many companies lay off their workers to reduce the risk of loss in a company. the. The method used in this research is literature study. The literature study method is a method that is carried out by collecting data and documents from references that are in accordance with the author's research. In this study, the authors analyze monetary policy as a government policy that can be used in overcoming the threat of post-inflation unemployment. Monetary policy is one way to reduce unemployment by increasing the money supply and reducing interest rates which will increase investment. The increasing amount of investment will increase job opportunities which in turn will reduce unemployment

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah pengujian pengaruh antara social media element seperti entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization dan e-wom terhadap consumer brand engagement pada purchase intention smartphone. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei online yang mencakup 325 sampel melalui kuesioner terhadap responden yang telah menggunakan media sosial dan memiliki niat membeli smartphone android di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan SmartPLS-SEM sebagai pengolahan data yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil akhir ditemukan bahwa elemen media sosial yang meliputi interaction, trendiness, customization dan e-WOM terhadap consumer brand engagement ditemukan signifikan tetapi tidak untuk entertainment sedangkan consumer brand engagement terhadap purchase intention juga terbukti signifikan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan kesadaran yang lebih besar terhadap pentingnya memanfaatkan media sosial menjadi platform untuk memperkenalkan produk atau jasa mereka yang dapat mempengaruhi keterlibatan konsumen antar merek dan juga memicu mereka untuk melakukan pembelian.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis analisis factor pendorong danhasil keterlibatan merek dalam konsep diri untuk merek fashion mewah diindonesia. Objek penelitian disini adalah kota batam yang merupakan salah satu fashion shop lokal di Batam yang memiliki konsep dan mutu yang tidak kalah dengan fashion lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis analisis factor pendorong dan hasil keterlibatan merek dalam konsep diri untuk merek fashion mewah diindonesia. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of overconfidence, herding, availability bias, risk aversion, and personal information on stock investment decisions among students in the city of Batam. The objects in this study are students in the city of Batam who invest in stocks. The variables used in this study consisted of independent variables, namely overconfidence, herding, availability bias, risk aversion, and personal information. While the dependent variable is the investment decision. In this study, the authors took 198 respondents' data using a questionnaire to be analyzed using the SPSS version of 24.0 software application. The results of the data in this study indicate overconfidence, risk aversion and personal ?nformation have a significant positive effect on investment decisions, while herding and availability bias do not significantly affect investment decisions. This shows that students as investors already have sufficient knowledge when investing, they are very confident in investing, and are more careful in managing the risks that arise, and more careful in finding relevant information. Abstract

Akibat dampak pandemi terhadap perekonomian, banyak usaha kecil mengalami penurunan penjualan yang mengakibatkan banyak kehilangan pekerjaan. Salah satu usaha kecil yang terkena imbas dari kondisi ini adalah usaha Jastip Trading Internasional. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membuat kreasi baru yang berbeda dari yang lain dengan cara menciptakan produk baru. Langkah untuk dapat meningkatkan penjualan adalah menciptakan target pasar yang baru dengan cara meningkatkan produk baru. Strategi bauran promosi adalah taktik yang digunakan untuk mendongkrak penjualan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa konsumen baru sangat mengetahui barang-barang Jastip Trading International dan adanya partisipasi pelanggan, yang akan meningkatkan penjualan Jastip Trading International
