Abstract

This research aims to design a reflective learning trajectory using the context of the Cirebon Red Mosque as the starting point or learning context. The method used in this research is design research with stages of preliminary design, design experiment and retrospective analysis. The subjects in this research were several samples of class VIII junior high school students. The results of this research are a hypothetical learning trajectory design in reflective learning using the context of the Cirebon Red Mosque with a learning trajectory, namely students observing pictures from the front gate of the Red Mosque, having discussions and finding the meaning and properties of reflection, students drawing objects with agreed conditions, students record the starting point and ending point of the reflection results and find the relationship between the two and finally, students find the reflection formula. The research results show that a series of activities in the context of the Cirebon Red Mosque have a potential impact on understanding the concept of reflection. Students work on mathematics collaboratively and the learning process becomes meaningful and easy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the optimum conditions for the synthesis of CaO nanoparticles using the coprecipitation method, determine the characteristics of the CaO nanoparticles synthesized, and determine the effect of the performance of CaO nanoparticles as an adsorbent for indigo carmine dyes. CaO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using the coprecipitation method at the optimum conditions of 1 M NaOH concentration and formation temperature of 400+200℃ with the highest % yield reaching 74.56%. The successful formation of CaO nanoparticles was proven by the appearance of a 2-theta diffraction peak of 23.12°; 39.2°; 57.9°; and 67.2° which is identical to the lattice structure of CaO with hkl indices (200), (311), (422) and (600) and a crystal size of up to 4.96 nm. SEM images support the formation of CaO nanoparticles with an average particle size of 98.1 nm and a varying size distribution. The IR spectrum of the formation of CaO nanoparticles with the appearance of Ca-O peaks at wavelengths of 3640, 1400, 860, and 791 cm-1. The adsorption capacity of indigo carmine on CaO nanoparticles was greatest at an adsorbent dose of 10 mg, adsorbate concentration of 100 ppm and a contact time of 50 minutes. The most appropriate adsorption isotherm model and adsorption kinetics model was the Koble-Corrigan model and the pseudo second order model, respectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties students experienced in solving integer and fraction operations in class VII students at SMIQu Al-Bahjah center. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research and literature review with data collection techniques using diagnostic tests, interviews, and library data. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VII SMPIQu Al-Bahjah Center who completed diagnostic test questions. The results showed that (1) students did not understand the concept of integer operations, especially negative integer operations and mixed integer operations; (2) students experience problems in reading word problems and converting them into mathematical models; and (3) difficulties with fraction operations in algebraic.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that supports students' creativity in mathematical thinking. Because mathematics requires students to be able to think creatively and critically, This research aims to conduct a study using the literature review method related to the influence of motivation and the CPS (Creative problem solving) learning model on students' mathematical and creative thinking abilities. The research method was carried out using a qualitative library research approach and the SLR (systematic literature review) data collection method for all articles related to the object of this research, including 30 national and international journal articles obtained from Google Scholar. From this research, it was found that motivation and creative problem-solving learning models influence students' creative thinking abilities. Creative teachers, learning media, class atmosphere, and appropriate learning methods and models support increasing students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Menulis merupakan bentuk berpikir seseorang, dengan menulis orang dapat menuangkan ide dan gagasan sekaligus mengekalkan ide dan gagasan tersebut karena tersimpan dalam tulisan yang bisa dibaca kapan saja walaupun penulisnya sudah tidak ada. Ada dua jenis tulisan secara umum ada tulisan yang subjektif ada juga tulisan yang objektif. Menulis surat termasuk pada jenis menulis subjektif, suat juga dapat dibedakan menjadi surat resmi atau surat dinas dan surat pribadi. Surat dinas tentunya ada aturan penulisannya misalnya sistematika penulisan surat, ejaan yang digunakan, serta keefektifan kalimat yang digunakan dalam surat dinas, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak surat dinas terutama surat yang ada di desa-desa belum memenuhi kriteria surat resmi yang benar, sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan menulis surat dinas untuk aparat desa. Berdasarkan hal di atas maka kami melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul Pelatihan Menulis Surat Dinas bagi Aparat Desa di Desa Longkewang Kecamatan Ciniru Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu metode penyuluhan/penyadaran. Hasil dari kegitan ini yaitu adanya pemahaman dan peningkatan keterampilan menulis surat dinas  para aparat desa  Longkewang Kec.Ciniru Kabupaten Kuningan. Surat dinas yang dibuat oleh aparat desa sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku yaitu sistematika surat, ejaan, dan keefektifan dalam menulis kalimat dalam surat

Abstract

Literasi, sebagai kumpulan keterampilan membaca, menulis, berbicara, menghitung, dan memecahkan masalah, menjadi esensial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi numerasi terdiri dari berhitung, relasi numerasi, dan operasi aritmatik. Relasi numerasi mengenai pemahaman kuantitas, sementara operasi aritmatik terkait dengan penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Menganalisis informasi dari grafik, tabel, atau bagan, serta kemampuan memprediksi dan mengambil keputusan, adalah bagian dari literasi numerasi yang membentuk warga global siap abad 21. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi di Desa Sukasari, Kabupaten Majalengka, Jawa Barat, fokus pada keterampilan membaca dan menulis. Literasi bukan sekadar keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga memahami teks dengan bijak. Program menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan teknik Cermati, Renungkan, Olah, Telaah, Tuangkan/Tulis. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif yang terlihat dari antusiasme peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan, yang meningkatkan minat mereka dalam membaca dan menulis. Peserta juga mendapatkan pengetahuan baru tentang literasi dan numerasi serta akses pada buku-buku pengetahuan yang mendukung perkembangan literasi mereka. Program ini menjadi landasan penting dalam menghadapi tantangan global abad 21 dengan literasi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Pelatihan peningkatan literasi penulisan artikel ilmiah hasil riset bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan peneliti, khususnya di kalangan akademisi dan mahasiswa, dalam menyusun dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah berdasarkan hasil penelitian mereka. Kegiatan ini diadakan sebagai respons terhadap rendahnya tingkat publikasi di jurnal-jurnal ilmiah bereputasi, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman mengenai struktur dan standar penulisan artikel ilmiah yang baik. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan mencakup ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung, yang difokuskan pada teknik penulisan, etika publikasi, dan strategi pengajuan artikel ke jurnal internasional. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap proses penulisan dan publikasi artikel ilmiah, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menyusun artikel yang siap dikirimkan ke jurnal. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kontribusi ilmuwan Indonesia dalam kancah akademik internasional.

Abstract

Higher education has a very important role and is expected to be able to produce quality graduates to be able to bring the Indonesian nation to a more advanced direction and ready to answer challenges in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to describe of how the content of higher education science in the 21st century. The research method used is SLR (Systematic Literature Review) with narrative review. The results show that the content of Higher Education Science in the 21st Century is designed by referring to the scope of Science, Learning Content Standards on SNPT, and the 21st Century Learning Framework

Abstract

Research on argumentation has been widely conducted and continues to develop. Research trends and opportunities need to be known by researchers to conduct research. To find out this, a bibliometric analysis needs to be conducted. This analysis is conducted to determine the development of publications, trends, and research opportunities on the topic of argumentation in Physics learning. Article data was obtained from Scopus and analyzed using the VOSviewer application. The results obtained are that research in this topic tends to increase every year. Keywords that are trending in this topic include high school, physics and science education, e-learning and dialogic argumentation, and argumentation skills. Meanwhile, keywords that are opportunities are higher education, other fields that study Physics, the use of teaching materials and inquiry, assessment in argumentation-based learning, and understanding concepts. In addition, a relationship between argumentation and problem-solving skills was also obtained. There are still few articles that connected argumentation and problem-solving so that this topic can be an opportunity to conduct research, especially at the university level. We suggest exploring various methods in implementing argumentation in Physics learning. Argumentation can not only improve argumentation skills but also improve various 21st century skills such as problem-solving skills

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design logarithmic teaching materials based on mathematical proof. The subjects in this study were 23 students of SMA 1 Sumberjaya, Majalengka Regency, Indonesia, consisting of 23 students in class X IPA-2. This research is a pre-research of the 4P development design study adapted from the Thiagarajan model, et al. namely: (1) Definition; (2) Design; (3) Development; and (4) deployment. In this study, the stages carried out are limited to stage 3, namely development. The deployment phase will be carried out again later. The method used in this study is qualitative method with several data collection techniques in the form of tests of students' mathematical proving abilities in logarithmic material, interviews, and teaching material validation questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it showed that teaching materials were in the appropriate category with a very good predicate with a percentage of 88.93% from material experts and in the appropriate category with a good predicate of 85.08% from media experts. The results of the practicality test on students amounted to 82.5% indicating that the teaching materials that have been made have a practicality category with a good predicate.
