Abstract

Ibn Sina, the father of modern medicine, has an unusual concept of psychology. His concept of soul is different from other characters. So is his view of reincarnation. This study examines Ibn Sina's concept of the soul and his views on reincarnation. The research is based on literature data and uses qualitative methods. The results showed that Ibn Sina divided the human soul into three parts: the plant, animal, and human. The human soul is eternal. The soul is not corrupted after death, after being separated from the body. The soul lives on in its nature. After death, the soul does not need a new body for its activities. Therefore, there is no reincarnation for the soul. Ibn Sina disagrees with the concept of soul reincarnation by Aristotle.

Abstract

Although acknowledged that Greek philosophy gave great influence on the development of Islamic philosophy, but philosophy of Islam are not based on it, because; (1) to learn does not necessarily reflect a repetition, (2) every thought is not separated from their cultural context, (3) the real fact shows that Islamic rational thinking has established before the arrival of Greek philosophy. If so, where Islamic philosophical thought come from? The answer is from the Islamic tradition itself, from scientists who attempt to explain the teachings of the Muslim holy book. There are three measures relevant to philosophical reasoning: ta’wil method, explanation of musytarak meaning, and qiyâs. In addition, the demands on theological issues, to harmonize the views that seem contradictory and complex, for further systematized it in an integral metaphysical idea. From there developed methods and philosophical thought in Islam, long before the arrival of Greek philosophy through the process of translation. First of all it was accepted because it is needed to answer new problems which require rational thinking, then it was declined at the time of Ibn Hanbal because there are certain cases which considered deviant, it was developed again in the time of al-Farabi and Ibn Sina, then rejected and considered to cause disbelief in the al-Ghazali era, and it was developed again at the Ibn Rushd, then change lanes to work together with Sufism in the time of Suhrawardi and Ibn Arabi. Finally, tradition of philosophical thought in the Sunni world does not grow up but remains develop well within the Shiite community.

Abstract

Hermeneutic as interpretation knowledge can be classified into three categories: objective, subjective, and liberation. 1). Objective hermeneutic means an effort to interpret and to understand the meaning of text as the author means. 2). Subjective hermeneutic means an effort to interpret and to understand the meaning of text based on the social context at this time without any consideration to the author thought. 3). Liberation hermeneutic means an effort to interpret and to understand the meaning of text based on the spirit of circumstance and try to make the result of interpretation as the spirit to change the life and the circumstance of the interpreter and the reader. In Islamic perspective, objective hermeneutic can be compared with tafsir bi al-ma’tsur, and subjective hermeneutic can be compared with tafsir bi al-ra’y. However, hermeneutical discourse has been giving much contribution for the development of interpretation knowledge, so it can appear hermeneutic of liberation. It is a new penetration. If it is applied in Islam, interpretation does not only understand the meaning of al-Qur’an text as God means or based on the context, but also an effort how to make the result of interpretation as the spirit for Muslim society to change their society become better and the best.

Abstract

Klasifikasi ilmu al-Farabi dalam materi bimbingan perkawinan penting untuk memastikan seluruh materi memiliki objek, tujuan, dan metode. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk untuk mewujudkan efektifitas bimbingan perkawinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah studi pustaka dengan menganalisis enam belas materi bimbingan perkawinan kemudian dikatagorikan dengan klasifikasi ilmu al-Farabi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah: Pertama, enam belas materi dalam bimbingan perkawinan ketika diklasifikasi menggunakan klasifikasi ilmu al-Farabi akan menjadi: (1) Ilmu lisan: Komunikasi Efektif dalam Pengelolaan Hubungan Keluarga. (2) Ilmu mantik: Nilai-nilai dalam Keluarga untuk Mewujudkan Muasyarah Bilma’ruf, Formulasi Sukses dalam Mengelola Kehidupan Perkawinan dan Keluarga, Faktor Penyebab Konflik, dan Solusi atau cara mengatasi konflik. (3) Ilmu matematika: Fungsi Ekonomi. (4) Ilmu fisik dan metafisik: Fungsi Kasih Sayang dan Afeksi. (5) Ilmu budaya atau peradaban, fiqih, teologi: Undang-undang Perkawinan dan KHI, Undang-undang KDRT, Undang-undang Perlindungan Anak, Fungsi Agama, Fungsi Perlindungan, Fungsi Pendidikan dan Sosialisasi Nilai, Fungsi Sosial Budaya, Uapaya Mencapai Keluarga sakinah, dan Membina Hubungan dalam Keluarga. Kedua, sumber yang digunakan al-Farabi untuk mengklasifikasi ilmu ialah ilmu agama dan filsafat, adapun metode yang dipakai ialah dengan mempertimbangkan keagungan materi, kedalaman bukti, dan besarnya manfaatnya yang kemudian ilmu-ilmu yang ada diklasifikasikan menjadi lima kategori

Abstract

Perkembangan manusia selalu mengalami dinamika perubahan baik secara fisik maupun mental. Hal ini muncul beberapa pandangan baik di kalangan tokoh Psikologi sendiri, maupun tokoh Islam. Tema ini penting untuk di kaji karena banyak spekulasi bagaimana orang-orang muslim menganut konsep teori barat dan menyampingkan pemikiran ilmuan tokoh muslim yang dianggap tidak ilmiah, padahal jauh sebelum itu ilmuan muslim telah membahasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengkomparasikan konsep perkembangan manusia perspektif Fakhrudin Ar-Razi dan Sigmund Freud. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research (penelitian literatur). Penelitian literatur dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan informasi melalui pustaka, kemudian mencatat dan mengolah data yang sudah didapatkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah 1) konsep perkembangan manusia menurut Fakhrudin Ar-Razi  terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: usia pertumbuhan, usia remaja, usia paruh baya, dan usia tua. 2) konsep perkembangan manusia menurut Sigmund Freud terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu: fase oral, anal, falis, laten, dan genital. 3) Komparasi teori Fakhrudin Ar-Razi dan Sigmund Freud.

Abstract

AbstractAesthetics in the family can be created by fulfilling mutual obligations. Based on the will and ends with the pleasure of God. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the implementation of the aesthetic concept of M. Iqbal's ideas for the fulfillment of mutual obligations for husband and wife. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to explore M. Iqbal's aesthetic concepts and their implementation in fulfilling mutual obligations between husband and wife. There are three research results in this article, that M. Iqbal's aesthetic concept contained two principles, namely expression, and function. One of the means to create a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah family is to fulfill the mutual obligations between husband and wife. The fulfillment of mutual obligations between husband and wife is the beginning of the creation of aesthetics in the family. The beautiful form of the family is oriented toward the expression of love, social function, and the Divine. This expression of love is actualized by actions to fulfill mutual obligations based on awareness of their position as husband and wife, as well as the functioning of the family as the initial environment that leads to Godhead, human development, and social progress.   AbstrakEstetika dalam keluarga dapat tercipta dengan cara saling memenuhi kewajiban bersama. Didasari dengan kemauan dan diakhiri dengan rida Tuhan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menguraikan tentang implementasi konsep estetika gagasan M. Iqbal terhadap pemenuhan kewajiban bersama bagi suami istri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mendalami konsep estetika M. Iqbal dan implementasinya dalam pemenuhan kewajiban bersama antara suami istri. Ada tiga hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini, [1] dalam konsep estetika M. Iqbal terkandung dua prinsip, yakni ekspresi dan fungsi. [2] salah satu sarana untuk mewujudkan keluarga sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah adalah dengan memenuhi kewajiban bersama antara suami istri. [3] pemenuhan kewajiban bersama antara suami istri merupakan awal mula terciptanya estetika dalam keluarga. Bentuk keluarga yang indah berorientasi pada ekspresi cinta, fungsi sosial dan Ketuhanan. Ekspresi cinta tersebut diaktualisasikan dengan tindakan untuk saling memenuhi kewajiban bersama atas dasar kesadaran akan posisinya sebagai suami istri, serta memfungsikan keluarga sebagai lingkungan awal yang mengarahkan pada Ketuhanan, pembinaan manusia dan kemajuan sosial.

Abstract

The wife's need for skincare and cosmetics has become the latest discourse in the framework of the fulfillment of maintenance by the husband to the wife. This study aims to examine the perspectives of classical and contemporary scholars on the fulfillment of skincare and cosmetic maintenance for wives in Islam and explore the use of burhani epistemology in reconstructing the law on the fulfillment of skincare and cosmetic maintenance. The method used in this research is library research with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The results of this study are (1) Skincare which is a necessity to maintain the cleanliness of the wife's skin so it must be fulfilled based on the agreement of the scholars of 4 madhhabs related to maintenance of body hygiene. However, the fulfillment of cosmetic nafkah is not mandatory, except in the Maliki school of thought, provided that the wife requires it; (2) The fulfillment of skincare and cosmetics maintenance by husbands can be analyzed using burhanu epistemology with the al-Qiyas al-Jam'i and tahlili methods. The al-Qiyas al-Jam'i method draws an analogy between basic needs and modern needs, while the tahlili method breaks down these elements for in-depth analysis of product halalness, health benefits, and psychological impact. With this burhani approach, the fulfillment of skincare and cosmetic needs is considered an integral part of the husband's maintenance responsibilities, supporting the wife's physical, mental and emotional well-being in accordance with maqasid sharia. Keywords: Burhani Epistemology; Nafkah; Skincare; Cosmetics.   Kebutuhan istri akan skincare dan kosmetik menjadi diskursus terkini dalam kerangka pemenuhan nafkah oleh suami kepada isteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perspektif ulama klasik dan kontemporer tentang pemenuhan nafkah skincare dan kosmetik bagi istri dalam Islam serta mengeksplorasi penggunaan epistemologi burhani dalam rekonstruksi hukum pemenuhan nafkah skincare dan kosmetik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) Skincare yang merupakan kebutuhan untuk menjaga kebersihan kulit istri sehingga wajib dipenuhi berdasarkan kesepakatan ulama 4 mazhab berkaitan dengan nafkah kebersihan badan. Namun, pemenuhan nafkah kosmetik tidak wajib dipenuhi, kecuali dalam mazhab Maliki, dengan ketentuan apabila istri mensyaratkannya; (2) Pemenuhan nafkah skincare dan kosmetik oleh suami dapat dianalisis menggunakan epistemologi burhanu dengan metode al-Qiyas al-Jam’i dan tahlili. Metode al-Qiyas al-Jam’i menarik analogi antara kebutuhan dasar dan kebutuhan modern, sedangkan metode tahlili memecah elemen-elemen tersebut untuk analisis mendalam mengenai kehalalan produk, manfaat kesehatan, dan dampak psikologis. Dengan pendekatan burhani ini, pemenuhan kebutuhan skincare dan kosmetik dianggap sebagai bagian integral dari tanggung jawab nafkah suami, mendukung kesejahteraan fisik, mental, dan emosional istri sesuai dengan maqasid syariah. Abstract

Social change in people's lives is something that cannot be avoided. As a human being who is always adaptive to developments over time, it is a challenge to continue to strengthen our faith when the temptations of technology become more intense. Society is a macro part of various micro elements within it, namely humans with various personalities. To create a harmonious society will really depend on individuals in society as a whole, so the concept of insan kamil Al-Jili is a good way to make this happen. The method in this research uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, where researchers will collect various data through library sources such as books and journals. The aim of this research is to explain the concept of insan kamil Al-Jili and its relevance to social society. The results of this research are that the concept of insan kamil Al-Jili can be concluded with several points about strengthening individuals which will have an impact on social culture, including: 1) Islam is a system that provides guidance and broad benefits for individuals and society 2) the important role of faith in directs a Muslim's beliefs and behavior, and how this can impact their quality of life in modern society 3) worship is not only a spiritual aspect, but also has a significant impact on the holistic development of individuals and their contribution to the formation of positive values in society 4 ) the importance of Ihsan's attitude in interacting with Allah and fellow humans 5) the importance of love for Allah as a foundation for good moral and ethical behavior in interacting with God and fellow humans, apart from that love for Allah can have a positive impact in various aspects of life, such as morals and consistency in the values adhered to 6) the importance of spiritual search and a deep understanding of God in individual development, as well as education in religious values and positive morals 7) the role of human beings in maintaining balance in the universe and society.

Abstract

Marriage guidance for teenagers of marriageable age can provide insight into entering a marriage. Therefore, marriage guidance regulated by the Ministry of Religion is important. This study aims to analyze marital guidance from empiricism and maqashid Sharia. The research method uses a literature review with a qualitative and comparative approach. The results showed that empirically marriage guidance is an activity needed by teenagers of marriageable age, so it is important to carry out. From the maqashid perspective, marriage guidance can benefit teenagers of marriageable age in fostering a sakinah family. The material is related to matters related to marriage, problems that often arise, and tips for fostering a Sakinah family.

Abstract

Ibn Rushd said that the real main goal of Islamic law is correct knowledge and right actions (al-ilmulhaq wal-amalul-haq). Because the teachings contained in the Islamic religion have laws and rules that are binding. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the role of religion in adolescent problems in terms of Ibn Rushd's thoughts. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a library research approach. The results of this study state that (1) Adolescent problems include adjustment: depression, bullying, gadget addiction. Diversity: polytheists, leaving the Shari'a just like that, degradation of morality. Health: drugs, alcohol, smoking. Economy: stealing, kidnapping, robbery and others. (2) Religion (in the context of Ibn Rushd's thought) has 3 main sources, namely revelation, reason, and revelation + reason which both have their own function in determining adolescent behavior. (3) Knowledge of religion is needed in directing youth so that youth can determine attitudes, behavior, and get along with others, and religion also has a function as a social controller, meaning that individuals believe that religious teachings are the norm in social life and can prevent individuals from committing things that are prohibited by religion or violate applicable regulations.
