Abstract

The development of technology in human life makes the process of buying and selling currently using the online system. The high electronic transactions that occur in Indonesia are driven by the number of e-commerce or companies that make m-commerce applications on smartphones. This research has several objectives, and the first goal is to know the effect of perceived usefulness, behavior of the use of m-commerce applications, subjective norms, and behavioral control of interest in m-commerce applications on smartphones on online purchases. The second goal is to analyze the ease of use of perceived usefulness, and the third objective is to analyze the effect of ease of use and perceived usefulness on the behavior of using m-commerce applications for online purchases. The fourth objective is to analyze the effect of security perception on the interest of using m-commerce application on online purchase. This research was conducted by survey method and using SEM for data analysis. The results of this research indicate that there are significant influences among the behavior of the use of m-commerce applications, perceived usefulness, and behavioral control over interest in using m-commerce applications for online purchases. Ease of use and usability positively affect the behavior of using m-commerce applications. Ease of use positively affects the perceived usefulness. The security factor has a positive effect on the interest of using m-commerce application.Keywords: e-commerce, m-commerce adoption, SEM, Technology Acceptance Model, Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract

Rimbawan Muda Indonesia (RMI) is an independent non-profit organization (NGO) that focuses on natural resources and environmental issues. This NGO aims to develop the conservation of natural resources. In order to achieve the vision and mission, the organization is not compatible with conducting the business model optimally, hence new strategies are needed to fix the business model. The aim of this research: (1) To identify and obtain the map (portrait) of the current RMI business model; (2) To analyse the SWOT of each element in RMI’s business model; (3) To design an alternative strategy as an improvement on the current business model. This research used the combination of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and SWOT matrix analysis. According to the analysis results, it could be concluded that RMI needs to conduct a business model improvement on nine BMC elements that consists of eight formulation alternative strategies including: 1) creative fund-raising strategies to the donor(s) that focus on youth and women issues, 2) one issue focus, 3) live-in community organization, 4) a fund-raising strategy by self-promotion space roadshows and attending donor events, 5) Capacity building through knowledge sharing amongs staff both internal and inter-network, 6) Outside Java Networking development, 7) Improvement on relationship to donors through e-mails intensively and on roadshows, 8) Donor visit due to the stop of collaboration. Mentioned strategy alternatives are elaborated on the form of improvement programs that will be described in each element of business model canvas.Keywords: business models, BMC, NGO, SWOT, RMI

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the current Jawa Pos Multimedia (JPM) business model and to generate a design for its development to enhance competitiveness under a digital broadcast race in Indonesia. The research uses Business Model Canvas approach. Importance-Performance Analysis, EFE, IFE, SWOT and QSPM matrices are used as analytical tools in formulating the strategy. The research shows that the selected strategy is extensification and intensification of hyperlocal contents. Therefore on its business model, JPM needs to intensify personalization of hyperlocal content on its value proposition. Media asset management as well as research and development are added to the key activities. The hyperlocal contents become supplement into the key resources, whilst key partnerships must also be established with the media, OTT providers, social media, communities and video bloggers. The partnerships will also give impacts on growing number of channels with OTT and social media. Customer segments are expanded through Internet users and TV stations. Apart from social media line, there needs to be particular means of engagement to cultivate customer relations. Social media monetization, OTT ads and content rights are additional revenue potential tendered by the development of JPM business model.Keywords: BMC, business strategy, digital, broadcasting, local TV network

Abstract

A high level of interest among Indonesians in performing Umrah, a religious tourism, creates the opportunity for banking industries, especially XYZ Sharia bank branch which provides Umrah financing services for the Indonesian Muslim community. The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze the influence of mixed marketing on customer loyalty of XYZ Sharia Bank branch; 2) to analyze the influences of the marketing mix to customer satisfaction of XYZ Sharia Bank branch; 3) to analyze the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty of XYZ Sharia Bank branch; 4) to formulate a marketing strategy to increase customer loyalty of XYZ Sharia Bank branch. This study was conducted using a descriptive method through a case study approach. The data were collected through questionnaires with non-probability sampling technique by using a convenience sampling method. The data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling based on partial least square (PLS-SEM). The PLS SEM analysis results indicated that the mixed marketing is influential on customer satisfaction of XYZ Sharia Bank branch with the influential dimensions of products, prices, employees and processes. Besides, mixed marketing also is significantly influential on customer loyalty of XYZ Sharia Bank branch with the influential dimensions of products, prices, employees, physical evidence and processes. The results of the analysis using ANP demonstrated that implementing cooperation with various travels and Umrah Travel Association in Indonesia is the priority key to improve the marketing of Umrah financial products in Syariah Bank branch by the weight score of 56,03%.Keywords: ANP, mixed marketing, consumer satisfaction, consumer loyalty, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)-PLS

Abstract

This study was conducted to measure the implementation gap of forest and land rehabilitation (RHL) policy against its objectives, namely maintaining life support systems, and designing strategies to strengthen its subsequent implementation. This study took a case study on the implementation of RHL at Bangunjaya Village, Cigudeg District of Bogor. The assessment used three parameters based on Permenhut No P.39/Menhu-II/2010 including regional, institutional, and technological parameters as well as community participation. Each parameter was weighed by the ranking method based on interviews with the experts. The strategy design was conducted using the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The research results showed that the level of successful implementation in Bangunjaya RHL is 66.3%, categorized as "medium level". The lowest result is in the technological conformity parameter i.e. 11.57%. The design strategy is focused on increasing the success of the conformity of the technology and increase of community participation. The results of the weighting using ANP strategic priority, the priority strategy for the following RHL policy implementation to reach its target is the strengthening of the capacity in conducting activities and involving the community with a weight of 34.8%. The strengthening of the capacity includes streamlining the RHL paradigm RHL by not only growing but also enriching knowledge of overall forest utilization and technical optimization of land use.Keywords: strategic planning, policy implementation, forest and rehabilitation, Analytic Network Process (ANP)

Abstract

Differences of perception in the fisheries resources management in the area of  Karimunjawa National Park (KNP) is still perceived by all stakeholders, especially the Karimunjawa National Park Officer (KNPO) as authorities. As KNPO, attempts to communicate with the fishermen, even with using of communication media, such as notice boards, poster, leaflet, and implementation of the No Take Zone Campaign Program. Fishermen believe that the lack of information due to lack of communication, so KNPO regarded as enemies of fishermen. The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of fishermen on aspects of fisheries resources management, resulting in conflict due to differences in perception. This study has revealed that the social characteristics (age and experience of fisheries resources management) and trust of KNPO correlated to perception of fishermen in fisheries resources management aspects. The characteristics of fishermen who have different perceptions with KNPO were fishermen who lived near KNPO office, fishermen who did not participate in the activities of KNPO, young age, and fishing experience is still lacking.  Keywords: communication media, perception, conflict

Abstract

Taman Nasional Komodo (TNK) sebagai kawasan konservasi dan kawasan strategis pariwisata nasional (KSPN) melibatkan beragam aktor/stakeholder dengan peran dan kepentingan yang berbeda dalam pengelolaannya. Analisis komunikasi merupakan hal penting untuk menciptakan kondisi saling pengertian, sehingga pengelolaan TNK dapat memberikan manfaat bagi semua pihak. Tahun 2019, Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Timur mewacanakan relokasi masyarakat dan penutupan Pulau Komodo, kemudian menimbulkan ketegangan hubungan dengan berbagai pihak. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi masyarakat dalam gerakan penolakan isu relokasi masyarakat dan penutupan Pulau Komodo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, analisis peristiwa dan metode SPEAKING Hymes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kelompok stakeholder berdasarkan tingkatan pengaruh dan kepentingannya, yaitu crowd, context setter, subject dan key player. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan masyarakat dengan stakeholder lain mayoritas secara dialogis sebagai bentuk advokasi. Peristiwa komunikasi yang dianalisis menunjukkan masyarakat mampu mencapai kepentingannya, namun diperlukan upaya besar dan pengerahan seluruh kekuatan kolektif masyarakat.

Abstract

As Indonesian government endorse of growing creative economy, it also relates to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which is growing rapidly in Indonesia. The ICT is used by many people in rural area, especially at coastal area. At coastal area most women work for helping the family income. They produce the fish production. Thus it leads to their creativity in producing new product from fish. This creativity should be enforce by utilizing the ICT in particular for enlarging the market. The case from women in Indramayu District specifically in Indramayu sub-district, a coastal area, becomes locus for this research. This paper examines how women at coastal area produce the fish production becoming a creative economy and how they use the internet? The qualitative research is applied in this research. The result show that most women do not really use the internet, only a few of them utilize the internet to market their product by using social media. In conclusion, ICT cannot be applied maximally in Indramayu except the women are obtaining the media literacy.

Abstract

The zoning is not as usual and natural issues but complicated processes that determines allowed andprohibited activities of resources user. From economic views, zonation could potentially take advantagesand disadvantages, and socially it create a confl ict as consequence of limited accesses. This research asqualitative research aims to observe zones utilization and it impacts to marine resource users in Bali BaratNational Parks (BBNP). The results show that utilization of marine zoning in BBNP is to ecology-biology protection, tourist and fi sheries with resources user namely Boarding of BBNP, tourist company and fi shers. Zoning results in regulating user activities including limited activities.
