Abstract

Pembelajaran yang mengembangkan kemampuan sosial terutama keterampilan sosial belum dilakukan dengan perencanaan yang baik di Taman Kanak-kanak. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan tujuan pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak menjadi kurang terprogram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan dari Dick & Carry yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan program pembelajaran yang yang mengembangkan keterampilan sosial anak Taman Kanak-kanak. Subyek penelitian adalah para pendidik di Taman Kanak-kanak yang berasal di Kabupaten Sleman, Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, dan Kotamadya Yogyakarta. Setiap kabupaten diwakili oleh 15 pendidik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan pemberian angket dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) pada pendidik dan observasi pada anak menggunakan pedoman observasi berupa cheklist. Data yang sudah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan diskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data-data hasil dari FGD dan angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, sedangkan data dari observasi melalui cheklist dianalisis dengan teknik statistik uji t parametrik untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial anak TK setelah mendapatkan program pembelajaran menggunakan buku panduan yang menstimulasi keterampilan sosial. Hasil dari penelitian dengan terciptanya pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial yang telah melalui evaluasi awal atau uji ahli dan ujicoba di lapangan. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial layak untuk digunakan setelah melengkapi daftar isi, evaluasi pembelajaran dan memperbaiki kesalahan tata tulis. Demikian pula hasil masukan dari pendidik TK menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan pedoman pembelajaran keterampilan sosial yang dibuat peneliti menunjukkan cukup baik dari aspek pembelajaran, tampilan. Hasil implementasi di TK menunjukkan bahwa panduan pembelajaran keterampilan sosial dapat meningkatkan rata-rata skor keterampilan sosial anak TK pada ketiga aspek keterampilan sosial dengan signifikan, yaitu pada pada aspek empati, afiliasi dan resolusi konflik, dan pengembangan kebiasaan positif.

Abstract

Friendship is one of the forms of interpersonal relationship which may be experienced by people at some point in their lives. Friendships play larger roles when people move into adolescence, when peers begin to play larger roles. However, studies concerning friendship tend greatly to be focused upon mental health benefits for adolescents and their role as factors protective against mental health problems, predominantly internalizing disorder. Nonetheless, several of the latest pieces of research indicate that friendship does not always provide protection against internalizing disorder. Experts in the field of developmental psychopathology have recommended looking at the connection between friendships and internalizing disorder from a different viewpoint. Not just viewing friendships as protection against internalizing disorder, there are guidelines asking about the effects of internalizing disorder influencing friendships. This study attempted to delve deeper into whether the internalizing disorder such as depression and anxiety, regarding two indexes of the features of friendship (the positive features of friendship and the negative features of friendship), with non-clinical adolescents in the South East Asian context, involving 400 Indonesian participants (84% female adolescents; 16% male adolescents; Mage = 16.04) and 269 Malaysian participants (73% female adolescents; 27% male adolescents; Mage = 15.86). The results of hierarchical linear regression analysis indicated that the increase in depression rates predicted lower levels of the positive features of friendships and higher levels of the negative features of friendship. Meanwhile, an increase in anxiety predicted higher levels of the negative features of friendship. Besides this, there were no significant results from regression analysis regarding anxiety and the positive features of friendship. Additional findings and practical implications are discussed comprehensively. Persahabatan merupakan salah satu bentuk relasi interpersonal yang akan dialami seseorang pada satu titik dalam kehidupannya. Persahabatan mengambil peran yang lebih besar ketika individu beranjak ke masa remaja, ketika teman sebaya mulai mengambil peran yang lebih besar. Hanya saja, studi tentang persahabatan cenderung banyak difokuskan pada manfaatnya bagi kesehatan mental remaja serta perannya sebagai faktor protektif terhadap masalah kesehatan mental, terutama masalah internalisasi. Namun, beberapa penelitian terkini menunjukkan bahwa persahabatan tidak selalu memberikan proteksi terhadap masalah internalisasi. Ahli-ahli psikopatologi perkembangan sebenarnya sudah memberi saran untuk melihat hubungan antara persahabatan dan permasalahan internalisasi dari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Alih-alih melihat persahabatan sebagai pelindung dari permasalahan internalisasi, ada arahan untuk bertanya apa efek masalah internalisasi mempengaruhi persahabatan. Studi ini mencoba untuk mendalami lebih jauh mengenai peran masalah internalisasi seperti depresi dan kecemasan kepada dua indeks fitur persahabatan (fitur persahabatan positif dan fitur persahabatan negatif) pada remaja non klinis dalam konteks Asia Tenggara, dengan melibatkan 400 partisipan Indonesia (84% remaja perempuan; 16% remaja laki-laki; Musia = 16,04) dan 269 peserta Malaysia (73% remaja perempuan; 27% remaja laki-laki; Musia = 15,86). Hasil analisis hierarchical linear regression menunjukkan bahwa naiknya depresi memprediksi fitur persahabatan positif yang lebih rendah dan memprediksi fitur persahabatan negatif yang lebih tinggi. Sedangkan naiknya kecemasan memprediksi fitur persahabatan negatif yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan hasil yang signifikan pada hasil analisis regresi untuk kecemasan dan fitur persahabatan positif. Temuan tambahan dan implikasi praktis didiskusikan secara komprehensif.

Abstract

This study explores how social support influences the work-life balance of female academics in Indonesian higher education. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, twenty lecturers shared their experiences in balancing academic responsibilities (Tri Dharma) with family life. Thematic analysis revealed four key forms of social support: (1) family instrumental support, which enables academics to perform their academic tasks more effectively, (2) institutional flexibility, which reflects recognition and trust, creating a supportive work environment that accommodates the demands of both professional and personal life, (3) collegial emotional support, fostering a shared space of empathy, solidarity, and resilience among colleagues, and (4) the integration of instrumental and emotional support, which promotes personal growth, alleviates stress, and enhances work-life harmony. These findings extend Sarafino’s theory of social support by revealing a culturally embedded hierarchy of support within the collectivist context of Indonesian academia, where family, colleagues, and institutions each play distinct roles in providing the necessary resources. The study highlights how social relationships and institutional structures co-construct the well-being of female academics, emphasizing the interdependent nature of both formal and informal support systems. By offering insights into how these dynamics shape work-life balance, this research provides valuable recommendations for gender-responsive policies and practices in higher education. Such policies can improve the work-life balance, career satisfaction, and overall well-being of women in academia, contributing to a more equitable and supportive academic environment.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a counseling model to reduce students’ aggressive behavior, namely Peace Counseling Model (PCM). This counseling model uses the basic theory of peace education that is specifically implemented in counseling. This study adapted the research and development model formulated by Borg & Gall. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis. There was a strong agreement between experts and practitioners on the feasibility of the product being developed to be implemented by school counselor. The results of this study should be a reference to further research to test the effectiveness of PCM to reduce students’ aggressive behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to interpret peace based on a text entitled Markesot Bertutur Lagi by Emha Ainun Najib. This study used a qualitative approach with hermeneutics procedure. Each interpretation was an attempt to understand the meanings that are still veiled in a text. The data collection techniques in this study were carried out through the documentation of the interpretation of texts and literature studies. The interpretation was carried out in three stages: (1) whole understanding; (2) partial understanding; and (3) understanding of underlying meaning. The data analysis techniques in this study used the formulation of Miles & Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results showed that the peaceful mind based on Markesot Bertutur Lagi was: (1) thinking to forgive the mistakes of others; (2) thinking of finding strength rather than blaming yourself; (3) thinking to regulate self-emotions; and (4) thinking to regulate self-behavior. These four forms of peace of mind should be a reference for the school counselor to be the basis for implementing peace counseling to build peaceful thoughts in students.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on phubbing behavior among Indonesian science students and to investigate whether self-control plays a moderating role in the relationship between FOMO and phubbing behavior. Methodology: This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a survey. Data were collected from 402 Indonesian science students aged 19–38 years across 28 regions. The instruments included the Fear of Missing Out Scale, the Phubbing Behavior Scale, and the Self-Control Scale. Data were analyzed using moderation analysis with statistical software. Main Findings: The results showed that Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) had a positive and significant effect on phubbing behavior (β = 0.655, p = 0.001). Self-control also demonstrated a significant direct effect on phubbing behavior (β = 0.279, p = 0.005). However, the interaction between FOMO and self-control was not statistically significant (β = −0.005, p = 0.098), indicating that self-control did not moderate the relationship between FOMO and phubbing behavior among students. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes novel empirical evidence by testing self-control as a moderator in the relationship between FOMO and phubbing behavior in a large and diverse Indonesian science student sample. The findings highlight the limitation of trait-based self-control measures and suggest the need to conceptualize self-control as a situational or media-related state.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of social comparison on life satisfaction with self-esteem as a moderating variable among Generation Z in Banten Province. A total of 391 participants aged 18–28 years participated in a quantitative survey with a cross-sectional design. Instruments included SWLS, INCOM, and RSES. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (PROCESS Model 1). Results showed that social comparison had a significant negative effect on life satisfaction, while self-esteem had a significant positive effect. However, the interaction effect between social comparison and self-esteem was not significant (p = 0.869), indicating that self-esteem did not moderate their relationship. These findings suggest that life satisfaction among Gen Z is more strongly influenced by self-esteem directly rather than through its interaction with social comparison.

Abstract

The identification of suicidal ideation is a crucial first step in comprehensive suicide prevention efforts because it enables timely intervention and appropriate support for individuals at risk. To ensure accuracy, the assessment process requires a measurement instrument that has been empirically tested and proven suitable for the intended population. This study aimed to validate a suicidal ideation detection instrument to confirm its readiness for practical application. The instrument was developed using a research-and-development approach guided by Saifuddin Azwar’s scale development design. The development procedures included defining measurement objectives, determining the measurement domain, operationalizing the construct, preparing a scale blueprint, formulating items, conducting qualitative reviews, carrying out pilot testing, performing item analysis, compiling the initial draft, selecting qualified items, and continuing with reliability and validity testing before producing the final instrument format. Content validity was assessed by three expert validators, followed by field testing involving 200 students. Quantitative data were analyzed using JASP version 0.16 software. The findings showed that the suicidal ideation detection instrument met the required validity criteria, demonstrated by an Aiken’s V coefficient categorized as high (0.866). Additionally, all items exhibited strong discrimination, and the overall reliability score reached 0.926, confirming that the instrument is suitable and effective for early detection among students._____________________________________________________________Deteksi ide bunuh diri sangat penting dilakukan sebagai tahap awal upaya pencegahan bunuh diri. Deteksi ide bunuh diri harus dilakukan menggunakan instrumen asesmen yang telah teruji valid dan layak digunakan. Penelitian ini berusaha melakukan validasi pada instrumen asesmen deteksi ide bunuh diri agar siap digunakan. Pengembangan instrumen menggunakan metode R&D dengan desain penyusunan skala Saifuddin Azwar. Adapun langkah penyusnan yaitu identifikasi tujuan ukur, pembatasan domain ukur, operasionalisasi konsep, penelitian item berdasarkan indikator yang disajikan dalam kisi-kisi skala, reviu kualitatif, uji coba, analisis item, kompilasi I seleksi item, pengujian reliabilitas, validasi, dan kompilasi II format final. Pengujian validitas dilakukan oleh tiga orang validator ahli, dan diujicobakan pada 200 siswa untuk uji validitas. Pengujian kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi JASP versi 0.16. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa instrumen asesmen deteksi ide bunuh diri valid digunakan karena memenuhi syarat validitas nilai Aiken’s V pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai 0,866. Instrumen memperoleh nilai tinggi pada tiap butir item pada uji daya diskriminasi, dan memiliki reliabilitas tinggi dengan skor 0,926.

Abstract

Standar kecantikan telah menjadi rujukan sosial dalam menilai penampilan individu, khususnya pada remaja perempuan. Keberadaan fenomena ini turut memengaruhi cara remaja memaknai dan membangun citra dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi remaja dalam memahami citra diri dan keterkaitannya dengan standar kecantikan, serta peran pertemanan dalam menegosiasikan fenomena tersebut.  Penelitian ini melibatkan 11 responden remaja perempuan yang tergabung dalam dua kelompok pertemanan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik analisis Interpretative Phenomenological Analiysis (IPA). Hasil analisis mengungkapkan tiga tema utama, yaitu penilaian terhadap citra diri, pemaknaan terhadap standar kecantikan, dan dinamika sosial dalam pertemanan, termasuk dampak standar kecantikan terhadap relasi sosial. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa standar kecantikan yang diterima secara sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosio-emosional remaja. Standar tersebut tidak hanya membentuk cara remaja memandang dirinya, tetapi juga memengaruhi kualitas hubungan sosial dalam konteks pertemanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kebahagiaan guru taman kanak-kanak di Yogyakarta. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis fenomenologi interpretatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga guru taman kanak-kanak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran tentang kebahagiaan ketiga partisipan yang diinterpretasikan sebagai kondisi ringan, nyaman, dan didukung secara sosial. Temuan penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi kesejahteraan subjektif yang mencakup komponen kognitif (kepuasan hidup) dan afektif (afek positif dan negatif). Penelitian ini turut mengungkap faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif yaitu dukungan sosial, rasa syukur dan penghargaan, serta spiritualitas.
