Abstract

The problem of poverty in fishing communities has become a cultural cycle. The issue has become a long causal chain of various aspects that is difficult to unravel over the years. The number of fishers is decreasing while the potential of marine resources has not been fully explored. It happens because poverty alleviation for fishing communities is only around 1% per year. The poverty alleviation program is closely related to the empowerment of fishing communities in running their businesses. So far, the fishing community's business problems have focused on weather/climate, infrastructure, technology (very little touched/used), and capital. However, not all fishing communities are not prosperous. There are different levels of exploration of marine potential in other areas. The Muncar fishing community is included in the successful category with Indonesia's second-largest business scale. The Muncar fisherman's business system, although applying the general Juragan-Worker method, has a traditional fishing method called Slerek, a boat system in pairs, one for fishing, the other providing accommodation. The Slerek system promises optimal catch. The catch-sharing system is 50:50 for the skipper and his group of workers. The Muncar fishing community business system can be adopted into an empowering marine worker business system after several modifications and adjustments have been made regarding the remaining problems.

Abstract

The manufacturing sector is a strategic pillar of regional economic development due to its significant role in generating added value and creating employment opportunities. However, in Palu City, the growth of this sector has not consistently translated into proportional increases in employment absorption. This study aims to analyze the elasticity of manufacturing sector growth with respect to its contribution to employment absorption in Palu City over the period 2019–2023. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, utilizing secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Palu City and relevant agencies. The data set comprises the manufacturing sector’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), the number of workers in the manufacturing sector, and the total workforce in Palu City. The analysis involved calculating both output and employment growth rates, followed by the computation of labor absorption elasticity using the elasticity ratio formula. The results reveal that the relationship between manufacturing output growth and employment absorption in Palu City is volatile and not always proportional, as indicated by the elasticity measurements of manufacturing GRDP growth relative to employment growth in the sector. Certain years recorded negative elasticity values, reflecting inverse relationships driven by internal sectoral dynamics such as efficiency gains, technological adoption, and external shocks including the COVID-19 pandemic. The study concludes that although the manufacturing sector makes a substantial contribution to economic growth, its impact on job creation remains suboptimal. As such, integrated policies are needed to align industrial growth with sustainable employment and improve regional welfare.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Job Characteristics and Organizational Culture on Employee Loyalty mediated by Organizational Commitment. The population in this study were all employees of Grand Miami Hotel, totaling 55 employees. The sampling technique in this study used the Saturated Sample (Total Sampling) method, so that the entire population was used as respondents. Data were processed using Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4) software. The results showed that Job Characteristics had no significant effect on Employee Loyalty, but when mediated by Organizational Commitment, Job Characteristics had a positive and significant effect, indicating that Organizational Commitment served as a full mediator. Organizational Culture had a positive and significant effect on Employee Loyalty, both directly and indirectly through Organizational Commitment, indicating that Organizational Commitment acted as a partial mediator. In addition, Organizational Commitment was found to have a positive and significant effect on Employee Loyalty. Overall, the findings highlight the crucial role of Organizational Commitment in strengthening the influence of Job Characteristics and Organizational Culture on Employee Loyalty at Grand Miami Hotel, Kepanjen, Malang Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi ilmu titen sebagai model pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menekankan tiga nilai utama: kesabaran, ketekunan, dan ketepatan. Ilmu titen, sebagai warisan budaya masyarakat Jawa, mengajarkan manusia untuk membaca tanda-tanda alam melalui observasi yang sabar, pencatatan yang tekun, dan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Program ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tegalrejo, Kecamatan Kepanjen, Kabupaten Malang, melalui pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif yang melibatkan guru, tokoh masyarakat, dan pemuda desa sebagai mitra utama. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari empat tahap: identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan, pendampingan implementasi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki pemahaman yang baik terhadap nilai-nilai ilmu titen, serta menunjukkan komitmen untuk mengintegrasikannya dalam kegiatan pendidikan karakter nonformal. Modul pembelajaran berbasis narasi lokal dan praktik budaya berhasil disusun dan diuji coba. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa ilmu titen dapat menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dan relevan untuk menanamkan nilai karakter melalui pendidikan kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2019–2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research, bertujuan menjelaskan hubungan kausal antarvariabel berdasarkan data empiris. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh langsung, serta uji mediasi untuk melihat peran kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel perantara antara kebijakan dividen dan nilai perusahaan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 12 perusahaan pertambangan yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling, berdasarkan kriteria: (1) perusahaan secara konsisten terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2019–2024, (2) secara rutin mempublikasikan laporan tahunan dan laporan keuangan lengkap, serta (3) membagikan dividen tunai minimal satu kali selama periode observasi. Data penelitian merupakan data panel selama enam tahun (2019–2024), yang diperoleh melalui laporan tahunan (annual report) dan laporan keuangan yang telah diaudit. Seluruh pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics 27 dengan serangkaian uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi, serta uji Path Analysis untuk menguji efek mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan dividen tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Selanjutnya, kebijakan dividen juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Selain itu, kinerja keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sehingga variabel ini tidak mampu memediasi hubungan antara kebijakan dividen dan nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

The implementation of the pregnant women class in Aceh Besar Regency has been carried out since 2020 with a target of 11,492 pregnant women. From observations, it is known that most pregnant women are less obedient in attending maternity classes. So, the purpose of this study is to analyze the compliance of pregnant women in participating in the class program for pregnant women in Aceh Besar district. This type of research uses observational cross-sectional design. The population of this study included classes of pregnant women at Indrapuri Health Center, Kuta Baro Health Center, and Darul Imarah Health Center, the sample in this study amounted to 180 pregnant women. The study found that the R-square value for service satisfaction was 0.694 and that internal and external factors could affect the compliance variables of pregnant women by 69.4%, with the remaining 30.6% influenced by other factors. Additionally, the implementation of the pregnant women class program was found to have an R-square value of 0.667, indicating that internal and external factors could affect it by 66.7%, with the remaining 33.3% influenced by other factors. The study also identified external factors, specifically knowledge, as the primary influencing factor on the implementation of the pregnant women class program, with a calculated value of 35,768 > table 1,624. Internal factors (age, income, motivation, and parity) and external factors (knowledge, attitudes, family support, and mileage) influence the compliance of pregnant women and the implementation of classes for pregnant women in Aceh Besar District.

Abstract

When conducting observations for 2 weeks in each of the villages of Cihanyir, West Java, Air Buluh village, Bangka Belitung, Lake Paris village, the stages of finding problems were MSMEs that were monotonous, less productive, less creative, and had a small market share. The author believes that the use of QRIS in these villages can solve the problems being experienced. The results in this article show 1. The author made observations for 3 days and found that the majority of MSMEs in these villages were less productive, less developed, and needed new innovations to overcome these problems. 2. The author/devotee believes that the use of QRIS can overcome these problems and discussed these innovations and proposals with MSME actors and MSME actors agreed. 3. The author/servant conducted education on the use of QRIS in theory and practice for 14 days and believes that the use of QRIS in rural MSMEs can increase productivity, creativity of MSMEs and expand market share (because knowing QRIS also makes you aware of other MSMEs).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek dari Budaya Organisasi, Quality of Work Life, dan Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di PT. Garuda Mitra Solusi, Kota Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Nonprobability Sampling atau (Sampel Jenuh) dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang. Metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Dan data diproses melalui software Smart Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil uji hipotesis, 1). Budaya Organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan. Artinya budaya organisasi tidak dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada PT Garuda Mitra Solusi. 2). Quality Of Work Life tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhada Kinerja Karyawan. Artinya Quality of Work Life belum mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada PT Garuda Mitra Solusi. 3). Iklim Organisasi memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan, yang artinya dimana Iklim Organisasi dapat mempengaruhi Kinerja pada PT Garuda Mitra Solusi secara signifikan. 4). Budaya Organisasi, Quality of Work Life, Iklim Organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Garuda Mitra Solusi. Dengan demikian Kinerja karyawan mampu memperkuat hubungan antara budaya organisasi, quality of work life, serta iklim organisasi pada karyawan PT Garuda Mitra Solusi secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual intelligence on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management with interest in learning as a mediating variable in students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang. This study used primary data in the form of a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. This study uses the census method. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 97 students. Statistical method for testing the hypothesis using PLS. The results of testing the hypothesis show that intellectual intelligence and learning interest have a significant influence in a positive direction on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management in students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang. Interest in learning mam[u mediates the influence of intellectual intelligence on the level of understanding of Islamic financial management in undergraduate students of Management Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak Perusahaan sebagai organisasi selalu mengalami perkembangan dari masa ke masa. Suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam manufaktur, bidang jasa maupun manufaktur pasti didalam perusahaan tersebut terdapat karyawa. Karyawan yang kompeten mempunyai peran penting dalam sebuah organisasi, sehingga o.rganisasi bisa berkembang menjadi lebih besar.Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel-variabel yang berkaitan. Kuantitatif explanatory research ialah metode yang peneliti gunakan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu Kompetensi dan Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan PT. Victory International Future di Kota Malang, Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan, Kompetensi dan Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan, Kompetensi dan Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention yang dimediasi kepuasan kerja pada karyawan.Kata Kunci:Kompetensi, Pengembangan Karir, Turnover Intention, Kepuasan kerja Abstract The company as an organization always experiences development from time to time. A company engaged in manufacturing, service and manufacturing, there must be a work in the company. Competent employees have an important role in an organization, so that o.rganization can develop to be bigger. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of related variables. Quantitative explanatory research is the method that researchers use. The results of the research that has been carried out, namely Competence and Career Development, have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in PT.
