Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reconstruction of Islamic values in education management through a philosophical approach and a constructivist paradigm. Strengthening values such as trust, fairness, sincerity, deliberation, and itqan is becoming increasingly important because management practices in various Islamic educational institutions still show administrative tendencies that ignore spiritual, ethical, and humanistic dimensions. To answer these problems, this study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA 2020 model, which selects scientific articles published in 2020–2025 from Google Scholar, Crossref, DOAJ, and Garuda. Of the 72 articles identified, eight met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed through thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Islamic values have a fundamental position in building an educational management paradigm that is not only oriented towards efficiency, but also on the formation of organizational character and spirituality. The values of trust and fairness strengthen the integrity and fairness of decision-making, the values of sincerity and deliberation encourage participation and harmonization of working relationships, while the value of itqan emphasizes the importance of professionalism and quality culture in education governance. The integration of these five values philosophically forms an ontological, epistemological, and axiological framework for Islamic education management that is contextual and adaptive according to the constructivistic paradigm. This research contributes to providing a systematic conceptual mapping of the role of Islamic values in education management, as well as offering a philosophical framework that can be used as a basis for the sustainable development of policies, leadership, and governance of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze organizational dynamics in educational institutions using organizational theory and concepts, employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA framework. The review aimed to examine the evolution of organizational theories, their application in educational contexts, and their implications for the effectiveness of educational management. Literature searches were conducted using reputable databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and Garuda, encompassing publications from 2010 to 2024. The PRISMA stages consisted of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of relevant articles. From the total number of identified studies, selected articles were analyzed thematically to identify patterns, trends, and research gaps. The findings suggest that classical, contemporary, and modern organizational theories complement one another in explaining the dynamics of educational organizations. Systems theory, contingency theory, and learning organization theory emerged as dominant approaches in enhancing effectiveness, adaptability, and innovation in educational institutions. These findings confirm that a comprehensive understanding of organizational theory and concepts is a key factor in managing educational institutions that are responsive to social and technological change.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires vocational education to adapt to more interactive, contextual, and competency-based learning approaches. This study addresses critical challenges in Culinary Vocational High Schools (SMK), where students demonstrate low visual-spatial skills in understanding complex culinary techniques such as precision cutting, artistic plating, and creative decorating. This article proposes the concept of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning as a vocational education transformation strategy that integrates digital learning experiences with real-world practices. The study employs a comprehensive conceptual analysis methodology, synthesizing theoretical frameworks from the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and Experiential Learning Theory with contemporary research on AR applications in vocational education published between 2020 and 2025. The proposed conceptual model, AR-based Experiential Culinary Learning (ARECL), combines the principles of the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and Experiential Learning Theory to create an immersive, collaborative, and hands-on experience-based learning process. Through this integrated theoretical approach, the ARECL model is expected to significantly enhance students' visual-spatial competencies, increase intrinsic learning motivation through interactive engagement, strengthen procedural skill development, and establish an adaptive vocational learning ecosystem that effectively prepares students for the dynamic challenges of the modern culinary industry. The implications of this conceptual framework extend to curriculum development, teacher professional development programs, and strategic industry-education partnerships that can collectively transform vocational education delivery in the digital age.

Abstract

Leadership within family life is closely connected to spiritual awareness, moral responsibility, and emotional stability. In Muslim communities, devotional practices often function as important sources of spiritual reflection that influence everyday attitudes and leadership behavior. However, limited research has examined how transcendental communication through religious practices shapes leadership within family contexts. This study aims to explore the dimensions of transcendental communication experienced by Muslim family heads through the practice of shalawat and to examine how these experiences contribute to the development of spiritual leadership within family life. The study employed a qualitative phenomenological approach to understand participants’ lived experiences and interpretations of shalawat as a form of spiritual communication. Data were obtained through in depth interviews with Muslim family heads who consistently practice shalawat in their daily lives. The findings reveal that the recitation of shalawat carries several interconnected meanings, including expressions of closeness to God, devotion and loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad, and the articulation of prayer and hope. These spiritual meanings contribute to emotional calmness, reinforce leadership responsibility, and encourage moral exemplarity in guiding family members. The study demonstrates that transcendental communication through shalawat functions not only as a devotional expression but also as a spiritual resource that shapes leadership attitudes and ethical awareness within family life.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyses the influence of tax avoidance and financial distress on firm value and the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as a moderator in non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2020-2024 period. Method: This study is a quantitative study that uses secondary data from annual reports and ESG data from Bloomberg. The selection of companies was based on predetermined criteria using the purposive sampling method, which resulted in as many as 175 observations. This study was tested using panel data analysis and analysed by panel data regression with EViews 12 software. Findings: Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that tax avoidance measured using ETR does not have a significant effect on the firm value. financial distress measured using Z-Score EMS has a significant negative effect on the firm value. ESG cannot moderate the influence of tax avoidance on firm value. ESG is able to weaken the negative influence of financial distress on firm value. Novelty: This study combines four variables (tax avoidance, financial distress, ESG, and firm value), which are still relatively rare, thus providing an opportunity to explore new relationships and find out how non-financial companies listed on the IDX can utilize ESG scores in weakening the influence of tax avoidance and financial distress on firm value.

Abstract

This study investigates the transformation of higher education financial governance as institutions transition toward financial independence in an increasingly digital and market-driven landscape. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of scholarship from 2014 to 2024, the research synthesizes global and national perspectives, with a particular focus on the Indonesian context, to identify strategies for revenue diversification and the role of digital innovation. Findings indicate that the shift from bureaucratic-administrative to managerial-entrepreneurial models is essential for institutional resilience. Key strategies include the optimization of endowment funds, research commercialization, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). Furthermore, the integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Financial Technology (FinTech), such as blockchain for auditing, significantly enhances transparency and accountability. The study concludes that achieving financial autonomy requires a holistic alignment of robust governance frameworks, digital infrastructure, and public transparency to ensure long-term fiscal sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract. Food color is one of the things that consumers consider when choosing and sorting food. So the use of coloring in food seems to be a necessity for every food producer. The health impact of using synthetic dyes is a reason for us to go back to nature by using natural dyes. Natural dyes can be an alternative dye that is non-toxic, renewable and environmentally friendly. Miana (Coleous scutellarioides (L) Benth) is a tropical plant that grows wild in Indonesia. This plant contains anthocyanins which have potential as natural dyes. This research aims to determine the effect of maceration time on total anthocyanin coloring powder from miana leaves as a source of natural coloring substances using the foam mat drying method. The research began with preparing the ingredients, then macerating 25 grams of miana leaves using 250 mL of distilled water with varying times of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 hours. The maceration results are then filtered and centrifuged. In the foam mat drying method, maltodextrin filler is added with a concentration of 8% and egg white foaming agent with a concentration of 5%. Based on the research results, the best conditions were obtained at a maceration time of 36 hours. The analysis results showed that the dye powder yield was 57.643%, the water content was 2.237%, the solubility was 97.711% and the total anthocyanin concentration was 217.09 mg/L. Keywords:Coleous scutellarioides (L) Benth, Natural Dyes, Foam Mat Drying, Maltodextrin, Egg White
