Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether empowerment can mediate the effects of servant leadership and perceived organization on employee loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach that consists of two exogenous variables, such as servant leadership and perceived organization, one endogenous variable, namely employee loyalty, and one intervening variable, which is employee empowerment. The data used is primary data obtained directly from respondents, including as many as 143 members of the FPMPI Kopertais 4 association. The research instrument used a Likert scale of 1–5, while the data analysis used SEM diagram analysis, which was processed using Amos Structural Equation Modelling. The results of the study show that servant leadership, perceived organization, and empowerment have a significant effect on employee loyalty directly, while the indirect effect of servant leadership and perceived organization on employee loyalty through employee empowerment has a significant influence. These results indicate that empowerment is able to mediate exogenous and endogenous variables.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reconstruction of Islamic values in education management through a philosophical approach and a constructivist paradigm. Strengthening values such as trust, fairness, sincerity, deliberation, and itqan is becoming increasingly important because management practices in various Islamic educational institutions still show administrative tendencies that ignore spiritual, ethical, and humanistic dimensions. To answer these problems, this study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA 2020 model, which selects scientific articles published in 2020–2025 from Google Scholar, Crossref, DOAJ, and Garuda. Of the 72 articles identified, eight met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed through thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Islamic values have a fundamental position in building an educational management paradigm that is not only oriented towards efficiency, but also on the formation of organizational character and spirituality. The values of trust and fairness strengthen the integrity and fairness of decision-making, the values of sincerity and deliberation encourage participation and harmonization of working relationships, while the value of itqan emphasizes the importance of professionalism and quality culture in education governance. The integration of these five values philosophically forms an ontological, epistemological, and axiological framework for Islamic education management that is contextual and adaptive according to the constructivistic paradigm. This research contributes to providing a systematic conceptual mapping of the role of Islamic values in education management, as well as offering a philosophical framework that can be used as a basis for the sustainable development of policies, leadership, and governance of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study investigates how systematic classroom quality management enhances fifth-grade student learning motivation in Indonesian elementary schools. Despite established policy frameworks emphasizing quality management standards, significant gaps persist between policy intentions and classroom realities, particularly regarding the integration of industrial quality management principles into educational practice. Employing a qualitative case study approach, this research examined classroom quality management processes at SDN Kertaraharja and SDN Ciadeg in Cianjur Regency. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with principals (n=2), teachers (n=6), and students (n=12), and document analysis. Findings reveal that systematic implementation of Deming's PDCA cycle—encompassing strategic planning with student voice integration, responsive implementation utilizing varied interactive methods, continuous evaluation tracking both academic and motivational outcomes, and adaptive follow-up—significantly enhances student learning motivation. Student participation increased from 62% to 87% during interactive activities, with unexpected emergence of spontaneous peer teaching behaviors indicating heightened intrinsic motivation. Key obstacles included limited facilities, insufficient teacher training, and resource constraints, overcome through creative solutions and collaborative approaches. This research contributes theoretically by validating industrial quality management frameworks in educational contexts and practically by providing replicable models for resource-constrained schools. The study demonstrates that educational quality enhancement is achievable through systematic, collaborative approaches recognizing student motivation as both a process indicator and valued outcome.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze organizational dynamics in educational institutions using organizational theory and concepts, employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA framework. The review aimed to examine the evolution of organizational theories, their application in educational contexts, and their implications for the effectiveness of educational management. Literature searches were conducted using reputable databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and Garuda, encompassing publications from 2010 to 2024. The PRISMA stages consisted of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of relevant articles. From the total number of identified studies, selected articles were analyzed thematically to identify patterns, trends, and research gaps. The findings suggest that classical, contemporary, and modern organizational theories complement one another in explaining the dynamics of educational organizations. Systems theory, contingency theory, and learning organization theory emerged as dominant approaches in enhancing effectiveness, adaptability, and innovation in educational institutions. These findings confirm that a comprehensive understanding of organizational theory and concepts is a key factor in managing educational institutions that are responsive to social and technological change.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires vocational education to adapt to more interactive, contextual, and competency-based learning approaches. This study addresses critical challenges in Culinary Vocational High Schools (SMK), where students demonstrate low visual-spatial skills in understanding complex culinary techniques such as precision cutting, artistic plating, and creative decorating. This article proposes the concept of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning as a vocational education transformation strategy that integrates digital learning experiences with real-world practices. The study employs a comprehensive conceptual analysis methodology, synthesizing theoretical frameworks from the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and Experiential Learning Theory with contemporary research on AR applications in vocational education published between 2020 and 2025. The proposed conceptual model, AR-based Experiential Culinary Learning (ARECL), combines the principles of the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and Experiential Learning Theory to create an immersive, collaborative, and hands-on experience-based learning process. Through this integrated theoretical approach, the ARECL model is expected to significantly enhance students' visual-spatial competencies, increase intrinsic learning motivation through interactive engagement, strengthen procedural skill development, and establish an adaptive vocational learning ecosystem that effectively prepares students for the dynamic challenges of the modern culinary industry. The implications of this conceptual framework extend to curriculum development, teacher professional development programs, and strategic industry-education partnerships that can collectively transform vocational education delivery in the digital age.
