Abstract

This research aims: 1) To find out the differences in learning outcomes of Indonesian language in the cognitive domain of acrostic material in the RADEC learning model compared to conventional methods in class V of SDN 24 Singkawang; 2) To find out how much influence the RADEC learning model has on learning outcomes of Indonesian language in the cognitive domain of acrostic material in class V of SDN 24 Singkawang. This research was conducted at SDN 24 Singkawang. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research method, in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class V of SDN 24 Singkawang in the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 46 students, namely 23 students in class VA and 23 students in class VB. The sample was taken using a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling type. The data collection technique used a test technique in the form of a learning outcome question sheet in the form of a description (essay). The data analysis technique used a two-sample t-test and an effect size test. The results of the analysis showed that the data was normally distributed.  The results of the study, 1) showed that the results of tcount> ttable, namely 3.473> 2.074, which means that there is a difference in the results of learning Indonesian in the cognitive domain of acrostic material in the RADEC learning model compared to the conventional method in class V SDN 24 Singkawang. 2) The RADEC learning model has a high influence on students' Indonesian learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of acrostic poetry material at SDN 24 Singkawang in the experimental class that received the RADEC learning model treatment with the results of the effect size test of 1.2 high criteria. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the RADEC model on the learning outcomes of the cognitive domain of Indonesian students in class V SDN 24 Singkawang.   Keywords: Influence of the RADEC learning model, learning outcomes in the cognitive domain

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru-guru SD agar mereka memiliki kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang cukup dalam mengajar dalam rangka menyukseskan pendidikan inklusi di sekolah. Pendampingan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis kolaborasi dengan metode observasi dan wawancara untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis inklusi di sekolah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa masih ditemukan kekurangan guru pendamping khusus, kurangnya kompetensi guru untuk menangani anak berkebutuhan khusus, kurangnya pelatihan yang diadakan oleh pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru pendamping khusus, dan kurangnya dukungan orang tua dalam belajar di rumah. Studi ini akan berkontribusi pada pengetahuan dengan memberikan wawasan terkait cara untuk mendampingi siswa belajar dengan latar belakang siswa yang beragam.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the E-Module of the Cidayu (Chinese, Dayak, and Malay) community’s local wisdom using Fliphtml5 Software as a learning resource that incorporates cultural insights for students engaged in the foundational concepts of social studies. This study employed the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which encompasses five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 93 PGSD students in the 4th semester of ISBI Singkawang. The research instruments were questionnaire sheets, media and material expert validation sheets, and learning outcome questions. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The research findings showed that the e-module was considered valid with an average value of 77.5% for media experts and 76.5 for material experts. The e-module also received a positive response from ISBI Singkawang PGSD students as seen from the results of the questionnaire responses seen from the appearance aspect getting a score of 75.8%, the ease of use aspect getting a score of 80%, and the usability aspect getting a score of 73.6%, resulting in an average score of 76.5 effectively empowering students to recognize, understand, respond, and engage with the local wisdom of CIDAYU. This study produced a T-count value of 8.236, exceeding the t-table threshold of 1.990. Therefore, it can be concluded that this electronic module can function as an independent learning resource that can be accessed for individual learning, so that it can improve students' learning achievements in terms of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Perubahan pola pembelajaran konvensional tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh (dalam jaringan) dan hybrid dapat berpotensi menjadi sumber stress akademik bagi mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan regulasi emosi dalam mengatasi stres akademik pada mahasiswa.Kegiatan pendampingan regulasi emosi ini dilakukan berpedoman pada modul pendampingan regulasi emosi dengan metode aktivitas komunikasi, konferensi, studi kasus, simulasi dan games, sharing, tayangan video, dan berlatih relaksasi yang kepada 16 peserta yang yang mengalami stres akademik.Acara berjalan selama 240 menit dengan lancar dan penuh dengan partisipasi aktif dari para peserta yang hadir. Pengabdian ini mengimplementasikannya disesuaikan dengan permasalahan yang sedang dialami mahasiswa saat ini, yaitu stres akademik yang diakibatkan oleh perubahan pola pembelajaran.Pendampingan regulasi emosi ini dapat dikatakan telah membantu peserta dalam mengembangkan kemampuan regulasi emosi sehingga bermanfaat dalam menangani stres akademik dan meningkatkan kesehatan mental dengan didasarkan dari data pengalaman, worksheet, simulasi yang didapatkan dari peserta dan hasil evaluasi yang telah diisi oleh peserta.

Abstract

To make progress in school education, primary school students must be able to master literacy, which is a very important component of literacy. However, students in primary schools still seem to face problems in reading, spelling and writing quickly due to not recognizing letters, among other things. The Indonesian state should prioritize literacy issues. This is because Indonesia's competitiveness is less competitive than other countries in recent decades. Indonesia's literacy culture is in crisis. This study aims to: 1) describe what are the internal factors causing the low literacy skills of grade III students of SDN 10 Singkawang; 2) describe what are the external factors causing the low literacy skills of grade III students of SDN 10 Singkawang. This type of qualitative research with descriptive method is describing the problems found in the field directly in accordance with the facts or what happens in the field, researchers also make observations or observations, as well as interviews of objects or subjects in the study. The results showed that: 1) internal factors causing the low literacy skills of students are; student intelligence, low student interest, low student motivation. 2) external factors causing students' low literacy skills are: lack of parental support, negative influence of smartphones, facilities and infrastructure.
