Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies to improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and document study. The study results show that implementing pedagogy and andragogy in training strategies can improve the competence of vocational/vocational teacher teachers. Pedagogy is used for training novice teachers and andragogy is used for training experienced teachers. The training strategies carried out include: (1) developing curriculum, (2) developing training materials, (3) using information and communication technology, (4) developing learning strategies, and (5) evaluating and assessing training results. This is contained in several sections that are published, namely, implementation, strategy, inhibiting factors, and benefits of training.

Abstract

Masih terdapat beberapa UMKM di Kabupaten Kuningan yang belum memiliki legalitas atau izin usaha, serta menimbulkan dampak menurunnya terhadap akses pasar dan pertumbuhan usahanya. Namun, penerapan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) melalui Online Single Submittion (OSS) seringkali masih menjadi kendala bagi pelaku usaha, terutama pelaku UMKM yang kurang memahami proses dan persyaratan yang diperlukan. Tujuannya pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan solusi melalui bimbingan teknis mengenai pengelolaan dan pembuatan NIB berbasis OSS. Metode implementasi melibatkan 40 pelaku UMKM yang merupakan binaan Rumah Pintar Provinsi Jawa Barat, dengan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 3 Agustus 2023, di Graha Wisesa, Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode bimbingan teknis, melalui tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan pemahaman mengurus NIB dan izin usaha melalui platform OSS. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman para pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya NIB, memperluas akses pasar, dan mengurangi hambatan birokrasi. Program inimengurangi rintangan birokrasi, membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas, serta meningkatkan kredibilitas dan potensi pertumbuhan UMKM di wilayah Kabupaten Kuningan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Audiovisual Terhadap Hasil Belajar peserta pelatihan kewirausahaan . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode expost facto dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar peserta pelatihan kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual dinilai cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kewirausahaan Ini terlihat dari t hitung > t tabel (5,657>1,9842) yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dengan perhitungan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan Y=52,657+0,466X, yang artinya jika penggunaan media pembelajaran audiovisual (X) bernilai 0 (nol), maka hasil belajar bernilai 52,657. Dan jika penggunaan media pembelajaran audiovisual (X) mengalami kenaikan 1, maka hasil belajar akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,466. Koefisien determinasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kontribusi pengaruh media pembelajaran audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 25,1% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain

Abstract

This study explores the role of community education in smart city development within the Indonesian context. The purpose is to understand urban residents' perceptions, attitudes, and barriers toward technology and smart city initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of current community education programs. A cross-sectional research design was employed, involving surveys and interviews with residents from cities participating in Indonesia's 'Towards 100 Smart Cities' initiative. Thematic and statistical analyses were conducted to analyze the data collected. The findings reveal a mix of optimism and concerns among respondents regarding technology and smart city initiatives, highlighting the importance of addressing privacy, security, and inclusivity issues. While current community education programs effectively raise awareness about smart city concepts, gaps in accessibility and inclusivity persist, suggesting the need for targeted interventions. The study's novelty lies in its contextualized approach to understanding smart city development within Indonesia's diverse urban landscape. It provides practical insights for policymakers and urban planners, emphasizing the importance of community education in promoting inclusive and participatory smart city development. The study contributes to the growing literature on smart city development by offering valuable insights and recommendations for advancing sustainable and equitable urban development in Indonesia and beyond.

Abstract

This research is driven by developments in the world of work and industry in Indonesia, which absorb fewer university graduates than they need because the graduates do not learn a lot of vocational skill competencies. Developing a higher education curriculum that suits the needs of the industry could address this issue. The gap between higher education and industry manpower needs could be attributed to 1) the absence of a framework that creates an understanding between industry and higher education to develop manpower relevant to industry optimally; 2) the main resource persons are only invited to universities to explain material for a limited period; 3) the facilities and infrastructure in universities do not represent the needs of companies or industries; and 4) the working climate has not yet fully occurred in universities, which are different from what is in the company. This research is an exploratory study that tries to collect and formulate an analysis based on the information collected. The research uses a qualitative approach using case studies and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Universitas Islam Syekh-Yusuf curriculum has been going well, following the applicable curriculum preparation regulations. In general, there are several stages in preparing the study program curriculum. These stages are divided into three important stages: the curriculum design stage, the learning design stage, and the learning program evaluation stage. The university has also established partnerships with other companies/organizations in fieldwork practice activities. This supports the development of student experience competencies compared to classroom learning alone. After analyzing the findings in the field with related theories, this research provides suggestions that are expected to be useful for several parties. Universities must find other learning resources for students to be relevant to the company’s needs. Universities need to establish many more partnerships with companies/institutions/organizations to become a place for fieldwork practices for their students so that student competencies will be more developed with a picture of the real job. Education and training are needed for lecturers to develop a curriculum based on applicable regulations that are relevant to global demands. There is a need for further studies to examine the effectiveness of implementing a curriculum based on the business world and the industrial world.

Abstract

This study examines the andragogical learning model in the context of intergenerational businesses, specifically within the salted egg artisans community in Tangerang Regency. Intergenerational businesses face significant challenges in transferring knowledge and values between generations, often experiencing shifts due to differences in perspectives and priorities. The andragogical approach emphasizes the importance of learning relevant to adults' needs and life experiences. This approach involves collaboration between older and younger generations in family businesses to address shared challenges. This research employs a case study method to identify effective learning models for managing knowledge transfer and values within the salted egg artisans community. The results indicate that an andragogy-based collaborative learning model, which involves both generations in the learning process through practical experience and joint discussions, effectively enhances business sustainability. This approach not only improves technical skills and knowledge but also strengthens the understanding of traditional values and modern innovations, which are crucial for the sustainability and success of intergenerational businesses. The study suggests the need for flexibility and adaptability in learning models to ensure the successful transfer of knowledge and values between generations in family businesses. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji model pembelajaran berbasis andragogi dalam bisnis intergenerasi, khususnya pada komunitas pengrajin telur asin di Kabupaten Tangerang. Bisnis intergenerasi menghadapi tantangan besar dalam transfer pengetahuan dan nilai antar generasi, yang sering kali mengalami pergeseran seiring dengan perbedaan cara pandang dan prioritas. Pendekatan andragogi menekankan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dan pengalaman hidup orang dewasa, dan dalam bisnis keluarga, pendekatan ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara generasi tua dan muda untuk mengatasi tantangan bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus untuk mengidentifikasi model pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengelola transfer pengetahuan dan nilai dalam komunitas pengrajin telur asin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran collaborative learning berbasis andragogi, yang melibatkan kedua generasi dalam proses belajar melalui praktik nyata dan diskusi bersama, efektif dalam memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha. Model collaborative learning meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan pengetahuan, juga memperkuat pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai tradisional dan inovasi modern, yang keduanya penting untuk keberlanjutan dan kesuksesan bisnis intergenerasi. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya fleksibilitas dan adaptabilitas dalam model pembelajaran untuk memastikan keberhasilan transfer pengetahuan dan nilai antar generasi dalam bisnis keluarga.Kata Kunci: andragogi; bisnis intergenerasi; pembelajaran kolaboratif; transfer nilai; transfer pengetahuan

Abstract

This study explores the academic policy regarding establishing new Junior High Schools (SMP) in South Tangerang City in response to the rising number of Elementary School (SD) graduates and the limited availability of secondary education facilities. Using a theoretical and quantitative approach, the research applies the "Social Demand Approach" planning model to identify the need for new schools. Findings reveal a significant imbalance between the number of SD and SMP, particularly in Setu, North Serpong, Pondok Aren, and Ciputat sub-districts, highlighting an urgent need for new school units (USB) and classrooms (RKB) to ensure equitable access to quality education. The analysis is supported by geographic and demographic data, considering essential variables such as student group sizes (rombel). Therefore, the policy for establishing new schools in South Tangerang City must be implemented promptly to address primary and secondary education challenges, ensuring adequate facilities for the growing student population. The research emphasizes the importance of addressing educational infrastructure needs to support student's educational progress and highlights the critical role of geographic information systems (GIS) in mapping school locations and planning future school development. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi kebijakan akademik terkait pendirian Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) baru di Kota Tangerang Selatan sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya jumlah lulusan Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan terbatasnya ketersediaan fasilitas pendidikan menengah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan teoritis dan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menerapkan model perencanaan "Social Demand Approach" untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan akan sekolah baru. Temuan menunjukkan ketidakseimbangan yang signifikan antara jumlah SD dan SMP, khususnya di kecamatan Setu, Serpong Utara, Pondok Aren, dan Ciputat, menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan unit sekolah baru (USB) dan ruang kelas (RKB) untuk memastikan akses yang merata terhadap pendidikan berkualitas. Analisis didukung oleh data geografis dan demografis, mempertimbangkan variabel penting seperti ukuran kelompok peserta didik (rombel). Oleh karena itu, kebijakan pendirian sekolah baru di Kota Tangerang Selatan harus dilaksanakan segera untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pendidikan dasar dan menengah, serta memastikan fasilitas yang memadai bagi populasi peserta didik yang berkembang. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemenuhan kebutuhan infrastruktur pendidikan untuk mendukung kemajuan peserta didik. Sistem informasi geografis (GIS) memainkan peran penting dalam pemetaan lokasi sekolah dan perencanaan pengembangan pendidikan di masa depan.Kata Kunci: kebijakan pendidikan; kelompok belajar pendirian SMP; social demand approach

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the innovation of the independent learning curriculum in the era of society 5.0 in building the future of education. The research method used is a qualitative approach to literature studies that focuses on understanding meaning and does not rely on mathematical or statistical evidence. The data collection technique was carried out through a literature review that discussed the innovation of the independent learning curriculum in the era of society 5.0 in building the future of education sourced from relevant journals and books. This method allows researchers to gain in-depth insight into the innovation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Society 5.0 Era in the context of education. The result of this work, namely the Independent Learning curriculum in the Society 5.0 era, produces a positive impact by prioritizing mastery of various fields of science without the limitations of study programs, increasing students' flexibility to explore individual interests, and strengthening critical skills and independence in the face of complex changes. This curriculum also pays attention to students' identities as agents of change who are responsible, ethical, and contribute positively, as well as broadening perspectives through exploring knowledge to face future challenges with strong competence.
