Abstract

This study addresses the challenges in improving social rehabilitation services for beneficiaries through vocational training and social assistance in social rehabilitation centers. The purpose of this study is to design and propose a model for integrating vocational training and social assistance and to identify factors that support the model's implementation. The research method is quantitative, employing a survey of 41 individuals, which represents 39% of the 105 total population of social workers for social welfare service recipients across several social rehabilitation centers. The research findings reveal that vocational training and social assistance in social rehabilitation centers are currently carried out as separate programs, lacking a unified implementation framework. Although social assistants play a significant role during the mapping and evaluation stages, their involvement in the integration and execution of both services remains limited. These insights underscore the need to design a more cohesive and collaborative model that bridges vocational empowerment with social support mechanisms. The novelty of this study lies in its holistic approach, which emphasizes not only the improvement of job skills but also the strengthening of psychosocial aspects. This model is designed to enhance the effectiveness of social reintegration and independence for beneficiaries, areas that have not been widely addressed in an integrated manner in conventional social rehabilitation programs.

Abstract

Global supply chains face increasing uncertainty, while traditional risk management often lacks adaptability. This study investigates how AI driven predictive analytics and smart contracts enhance resilience, using mixed methods with case studies and big data analysis. A mixed method approach was employed, combining big data analytics from supply chain networks with machine learning models for predictive forecasting, supported by case studies from multinational manufacturing and logistics companies as well as secondary data from industry reports. The findings reveal that AI driven predictive models significantly improve demand forecasting accuracy, identify potential disruptions earlier, and enhance supplier risk assessment compared to conventional approaches, while integrating data from IoT enabled devices provides real time visibility across logistics operations. Overall, AI powered predictive analytics demonstrates substantial potential in transforming risk management within global supply chains by enabling proactive strategies and resilience, allowing organizations to reduce vulnerabilities, optimize performance, and strengthen competitiveness in dynamic markets, with future research suggested to explore the integration of blockchain for transparency and ethical governance in supply chain ecosystems.

Abstract

Background: Violence against early childhood remains a critical issue in the study of child development and family psychology, particularly when parenting practices tend to be harsh, unresponsive, or inconsistent. This study aims to analyze the role of positive parenting and authoritative parenting in reducing the risk of violence against young children based on theoretical reviews and recent empirical findings. The research method used is library research by examining various scientific journals, books, and relevant research results. The findings indicate that both parenting styles contribute to reducing the risk of violence through the application of warmth, responsiveness, non-violent discipline, two-way communication, and consistent rules that support the creation of a safe and harmonious caregiving environment. Positive parenting and authoritative parenting also enhance children's emotional regulation and reduce parental stress, thereby minimizing the potential for aggressive behavior from parents. In conclusion, positive parenting and authoritative parenting are evidence-based strategies that effectively prevent violence against early childhood while supporting optimal emotional and social development

Abstract

Prior to the establishment of Café Sawah, Pujon Kidul Village relied primarily on agriculture and faced unemployment, limited economic diversification, and relatively low educational attainment. This study aims to analyse how Café Sawah functions as a community empowerment model that enhances income-generating activities in Pujon Kidul Village, Indonesia. A qualitative approach was employed, using semi-structured interviews with 11 informants: a community leader, village officials, a BUMDes Sumber Sejahtera manager, youth organisation representatives, and Café Sawah managers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analysed through data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and thematic interpretation; triangulation and member checking were used to strengthen credibility. The findings show that Café Sawah developed through collaborative governance involving the village government, BUMDes, local communities, and external stakeholders. The empowerment process combined community participation, utilisation of local resources, institutional coordination, and capacity building, thereby expanding locally accessible employment and business opportunities beyond agriculture. Tourism development reportedly created employment opportunities for approximately 200 individuals, involved workers from poor households, strengthened MSME participation and local product markets, contributed IDR 162.5 million annually to the village’s own-source revenue, and supported BUMDes-managed business activities generating approximately IDR 1.7 billion per year. These findings indicate broader access to productive activities and local economic opportunities rather than uniform income growth across all households. This study contributes an empirically grounded model showing how community-based tourism coordinated through BUMDes can connect participatory empowerment, village institutions, and local resource utilisation with diversified income-generating activities.

Abstract

Amidst the rapid growth of digital literacy, subsistence UMKM are a low-income group, particularly female heads of households who are the backbone of their families, facing the dual challenges of limited access to resources and digital literacy gaps. The government plays an active role in community empowerment programs through training in general business development. Therefore, community empowerment through digital-based entrepreneurship education addresses these challenges by opening mindsets, connecting ideas, skills, and market access through digital technology, and promoting cross-sector collaboration in a mutually reinforcing ecosystem. This study aims to determine the role of digital-based entrepreneurship education in the success of such community empowerment programs. This research collaborates with the Women's Empowerment Agency (DP2PA) in collaboration with the Indonesian Creative Women's Community and academics from the UMKM Entrepreneurship Institute of Widya Gama Mahakam University in Samarinda in an empowerment program through non-formal entrepreneurship education at women's business schools. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, with data obtained through interviews and observations, using instruments in the form of interview guides and observation guides. There were 15 participants consisting of organizers, mentors, facilitators, and business school participants. The data analysis process was applied inductively by referring to Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which includes five stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of the study show that the success of the empowerment program requires the role of entrepreneurship education in encouraging an entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to identify and create business opportunities, and the ability to integrate digital technical skills and strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset. In practical terms, this study concludes that amid digital disruption, digital-based entrepreneurship education, mentoring, and community become the main catalysts for the transition of subsistence UMKM to sustainable businesses

Abstract

Orisinalitasnya terletak pada menunjukkan peran mediasi kebahagiaan dalam menghubungkan promosi dengan pembelian impulsif, menawarkan nilai akademik dan praktis untuk meningkatkan pengalaman konsumen dan efektivitas pemasaran Kata Kunci: Promosi, BNPL, literasi keuangan, impulsive, mediasi emosional   Building Public Financial Literacy by Understanding the Impact of "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) Promotions on Impulsive Buying Behavior   Abstract This study aims to examine the impact of BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) promotions on consumer happiness and impulsive purchasing behavior, while assessing the mediating role of consumer happiness in the relationship between BNPL promotions and impulsive behavior. The research is grounded in theories of consumer behavior, including Rook's impulsive buying theory and promotional strategy frameworks by Kotler and Keller. These theories emphasize the emotional and psychological factors influencing consumer decisions. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 810 respondents who completed a structured questionnaire. The variables measured included promotional attributes (discounts, cashback, credit limit increases, and direct rewards), consumer happiness, and impulsive purchasing behavior. Data analysis was conducted using correlation, regression, and mediation testing to evaluate the proposed hypotheses. The findings reveal that BNPL promotions significantly enhance consumer happiness, with credit limit increases having the strongest effect. Consumer happiness also positively influences impulsive purchasing behavior. Furthermore, BNPL promotions directly impact impulsive behavior and indirectly through the mediating effect of consumer happiness. These results align with existing theories and provide new insights into the dual pathways of promotional influence. Research Implications: The study offers practical guidance for BNPL providers to design effective and responsible promotional strategies, emphasizing the role of emotional engagement in driving consumer behavior. Theoretical contributions include identifying consumer happiness as a mediator and expanding the understanding of the emotional impact of promotional tactics. This research bridges gaps in literature by integrating emotional and behavioral perspectives on BNPL promotions. Its originality lies in demonstrating the mediating role of happiness in linking promotions to impulsive buying, offering both academic and practical value for improving consumer experience and marketing effectiveness Keywords: Promotions, BNPL, financial literacy, impulsiveness, emotional mediation
