The research purpose to: (1) describe the game addiction on the student, (2) describe the student motivation, (3) find out the correlation between game addiction with student motivation. The research methodology was quantitative approach to the type of descriptive correlational. The research population was 739 students of SMP N 25 Padang academic year 2013/2014. The research sample was 266 students selected by stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.870 (game addiction) and 0.861 (learn motivation). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and Product Moment Correlation. The research results showed that: (1) game addiction students in general are at the high category, (2) learn motivation students in general are at a high enough category, (3) there is a significant negative correlation between game addiction with students motivation, with a correlation coefficient of -0.301. Implications in guidance and counseling will discussed.

The purpose of Teen Consultation Center (TSC) extracurricular is to develop studentsâ€™ ability become youth counselor. The purpose of this research is to describe TSC extracurricular activity at SMA N 7 Padang based on the studentsâ€™ opinion about the development TSC by counseling teacher and TSC implementation by youth counselor. This research can be categorized quantitative approach, descriptive research. Research finding explains studentsâ€™ opinion about TSC development by counseling teacher is good and TCR implementation has been done.

Anxiety is unplesant feelings or tension against something that has not yet happened, and it could raise a fear of the impact that might grow. REBT regards an anxiety as an irrational thought that lead an individual to behave ineffectively, such as avoiding particular situation. Public speaking anxiety is a fear that is felt when speaking in front of many people. This fear could generate a variety of symptoms, such as sweating and even forget the words to be delivered. To avoid this condition, the individual choose to remain silent. Group guidance service is one of guidance an counseling serviced aimed at training members of the group to speak in front of public and be able to share ideas with others. The research was designed for revealing: the average score of the studentsâ€™ anxiety before and after group guidance service assisted with REBT approach was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique, and the effectiveness of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach to reduce the studentâ€™ anxiety. This research applied quantitative method. This was a pre-experimental research which used the one group pretest and posttest design. The subject was chosen by using purposive sampling method. The subject of the research was seven students having high anxiety, medium anxiety and low anxiety. This research was conducted at IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The data gathered were analyzed by using statistic non-parametrik technique assisted with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and SPSS version 20.00. The result of the research showed that there was a difference between the average score of the studentsâ€™ anxiety before and after the treatment given in which their pretest score was 136,1 and their posttest score was 111,5. Futhermore, the result of hypothesis test indicated that the score of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) was 0,005 which was below alpha 0,05 (0,005<0,05). Hence, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on these result, it was concluded that the use of group guidance service assisted with REBT approach which was applied by using ABCDE model and homework assigment technique was effective to overcome the studentsâ€™ anxiety to speak in front of people (in the class).Â

Satuan pendidikan SMP memiliki peran penting dalam membantu kesuksesan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan. Untuk itu proses pelaksanaan pelayanan difokuskan pada bidang pengembangan pribadi dan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis upaya guru BK mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel 30 guru BK dari 8 sekolah SMPN Kota Padang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni dengan model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik sederhana (teknik persentase). Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan upaya guru BK mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam memilih sekolah lanjutan berada pada kategori cukup. Dengan demikian upaya guru BK perlu ditingkatkan dari program pelayanan BK dan pelaksanaan pelayanan BK.

Siswa SMA yang sedang menjalani masa remaja dituntut untuk menjalani tugas-tugas perkembangan. Salah satu tugas perkembangan yaitu mencapai kematangan dalam pilihan karir di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan usaha siswa dalam menentukan arah pilihan karir dan hambatan yang mereka temui. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif dengan populasi siswa SMA N 3 Payakumbuh. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling dan diperoleh 77 orang. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Temuan Penelitian ini menunjukkan 1)Usaha yang dominan dilakukan siswa dalam menentukan pilihan karirnya adalah berusaha mengetahui prospek masa depan pekerjaan yang akan dipilih melalui media internet, 2) faktor yang dominan dipertimbangkan siswa dalam menentukan pilihan karir adanya kebebasan untuk memilih pendidikan yang diinginkan setelah tamat nanti, 3) hambatan yang dominan ditemui siswa dalam menentukan pilihan karir adalah teman-teman memberikan masukan yang berbeda tentang pilihan karir.

The aims of the research were: (1) producing prevention module of premarital sexual behavior on Senior High School students who were proper according to the experts in order to be used by guidance and counseling teachers/counselors, (2) describing the function of the module to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior. This research was a development research which was conducted by using ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Research subjects consisted of three experts and twenty three guidance and counseling teachers/counselors. The result of the research shown that the module, the research product, is appropriate to be used to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior and can be used by the students as well as the guidance and counseling teachers/counselors in preventing the students from premarital sexual behavior.

Motivation and learning skill are essential and mustbe owned by students to be successful in learning. But, the fact that are students with lack of learning motivation and learning skill. The aims from this research are: (1) to describing studentâ€™s learning motivation and learning skill which high achieving and underachieving, (2) to analyze studentâ€™s learning motivation and learning skill differences who high achieving and underachieving. This research using quantitative approach with comparative description type. This research conducted on students in VII and VIII grades at MTsN Salido Pesisir Selatan regency in 2013-2014 school year, with 258 students population, and 158 students as research sample using propotional random sampling techniques. Instrument for this research is questionnaire. Data analyzing for this research using descriptive statistic techniques and t-test using SPSS 16.00. Data analyzing revealed that (1) learning motivation students who is high achieving stand at high category, (2) learning motivation students who is underachieving stand at average category, (3) learning skill students who is high achieving stand at good category, (4) learning skill students who is underachieving stand at enough category, (5) there is a difference of learning motivationÂ between students with high achieving and underachieving, (6) there is a difference of learning skill between students with high achieving and underachieving. The implication from this research to guidance and counseling is forming guidance counseling treatment programme that concern to students with underachieving in order to reach good learning result..

Abstract Easily access movies / videos porno allows teens / students freely watch, causing a tendency for teens / students to watch porn movies over and over - again. This leads to difficulty concentrating in learning, resulting in lower student learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal how the effects of pornography on adolescent sexual behavior / student. This study used a descriptive approach. The results showed that the impact of pornography on sexual behavior so students, in this case the tutor is not optimal (low) in the prevention efforts so that students are not accessing pornography

This research was done because of phenomenon of the studentsâ€™ low motivation to get the achievement at school. Self concept and social support from the teacher have a correlation for creating the studentsâ€™ potential giftedness to get an achievement in learning. The role of the teachers, especially the teachers of guidance and counseling are needed in improving the studentsâ€™ achievement at school in order to improve their learning achievement. This research has purpose to find the social support, self concept, and achievement motivation of SMPN Kecamatan Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan. This research is also done for knowing the contribution of social support and self concept through achievement motivation of SMPN Kecamatan Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan. This research used correlational approach which has purpose to know how is the contribution among the research variables. The population of the research is the students of SMPN Kecamatan Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan. The amount of the population was 601 students. The sample of this research was 240 students. It had been taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using descriptive technique and the hypothesis testing was done by using path analysis. The result shows that: (1) social support is in the enough category with average score is 115.9 or 77.29 of the ideal score, (2)Â the self concept is in the enough category with average score is 93.53 or 74.82% of the ideal score, (3) studentsâ€™ achievement motivation is in the enough category with average score 114.4 or 76.27 of the ideal score, (4) the contribution of social support through the studentsâ€™ achievement motivation is about 20.2%, (5) the contribution of self concept through the studentsâ€™ achievement motivation is about 14.4%, and (6) the contribution of social support and self concept through students achievement motivation is about 25.7%

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang siknifikan baik dalam segi ekonomi maupun pendidikan. Pendidikan secara daring serta bekerja dari rumah untuk para tenaga pendidik ialah pergantian yang wajib dilakukan oleh guru agar dapat tetap melakukan pemebalajaran dan berinteraksi dengan siswa. Pembelajaran dengan jarak jauh mempunyai tujuan supaya kualitas pembelajaran tingkatkan serta relevansi pembelajaran dan tingkatkan pemerataan akses serta ekspansi pembelajaran. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang diselenggarakan dengan penjaminan mutu yang baik serta cocok dengan kebutuhan pemangku kepentingan ialah salah satu mekanisme ekspansi akses pembelajaran besar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketehui bahawa motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran berbasis daring 11% siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, 38% siswa berada pada kategori cukup, 27% siswa berada pada kategori motivasi sedang dan 24% siswa berada pada kategori motivasi rendah. Dari hasil ini dapat diketahui bahwa pencapain hasil motivasi belajar belum maksimal, maka diperlukan upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga lebih maksimal
