Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the school literacy program, the supporting factors, and the inhibiting factors in improving the quality of Islamic religious education learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta. Qualitative research methods, with a phenomenological sociology approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the literacy movement program in improving the quality of PAI learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta is through a reading program 10-15 minutes before learning begins and a Al-Qur'an reading program, mandatory visits to the library and gift giving programs, holding literacy competitions and the program to make a writing with their own essays. The improvement in the quality of Islamic religious education learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta can be seen from the increased activeness of students in participating in learning activities, increased activeness in reading, increased concentration in listening and being able to express opinions. The increase in students' abilities can also be seen from students' success in doing work and the school's success in creating hafidzul Qur'an through the Bina Cinta Allah activity. Factors supporting the implementation of the literacy movement program at SD YPPSB Sangatta, namely the existence of suitable facilities and services from the library, availability of learning media, support from foundations, and good school leadership in implementing literacy. While the inhibiting factors are the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the availability of textbooks that still need to be improved, the lack of interest in reading from students' excessive use of gadgets, and the personal motivation of each student in implementing literacy.

Abstract

Education is a tool for helping each person reach their full potential as a valuable, admirable person. Human characteristics result from values that allow for the precedence of thoughts, words, and deeds. This study aims to outline the value philosophy and how it appears in Islamic education. A qualitative approach to library research was used for this study. Measure the truthfulness of messages and derive conclusions using content analysis techniques used in data processing and analysis. According to the study's findings, value is etymologically related to price and estimated numbers of significant attributes that are beneficial to many individuals. However, values are criteria that exist in humans in the forms of good, just, and beautiful from a philosophical perspective. The Islamic notion of moral education is consistent with the theory of value in the philosophy of value, which has as its goal the revelation of good and true character. Islamic education, on the other hand, aims to delve into the nature of virtue and truth. Philosophers believe that human beings are defined as beings of value or quality because of how they grasp and apply the essence of goodness and truth

Abstract

This article discusses the efforts of Islamic boarding schools to form educational moderation, models of  moderation and the implications of pesantren education moderation. The design of this study was qualitative with a theological and pedagogical approaches. The informants of this research wre the leaders, religious teachers, administrators, and students. Furthermore, the data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation. To test the validity of the data, triangulation of data was performed. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely: reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing from the data. The findings of this study were; first, the pesantren efforts in shaping education moderation by socializing all forms of extremism and radicalism to the studensts, choosing teaching materials or books that are free from extremist values and radicalism, designing moderate curriculum and learning methods. Second, the education moderation model that integrates learning and collaboration with the life of pesantren. Third, the implications of educational moderation for pesantren were in forms of; positive community assessments of pesantren, increasingly moderate community, and making pesantren as a reference for the community.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the strategies used by madrasa heads in an effort to improve students' reading and writing skills of the Al-Qur'an. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique after the data is collected (data collection) is the Miles, Huberman and Saldana technique, with a series of analyzes in the form of data display, condensation and conclusion. Data validation using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this research indicate that the madrasa head's strategy is to improve students' reading and writing skills of the al-Qur`an at MI As'adiyah. First, integrating al-Qur'an reading lessons into the masdrasah curriculum. Second, holding extracurricular lessons to read the al-Qur`an. Third, holding extracurricular learning to write the al-Qur`an. Fourth, holding MTQ (Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur'an) within the madrasah. Fifth, include students in external madrasah MTQ. Sixth, holding training for teachers. Seventh, Discipline teachers using a reward and punishment approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih mendalam tentang hakikat metode, materi, dan alat dalam pendidikan Islam, dengan fokus pada studi kasus implementasi model pembelajaran "Market Place Activity" di SMK Negeri 2 Samarinda untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Metode pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik bagi siswa, khususnya dalam konteks PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis secara mendalam untuk menggali informasi tentang keefektifan model pembelajaran "Market Place Activity" dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar PAI. Dari hasil wawancara mendalam dan penilaian checklist, yang didukung oleh triangulasi, muncul dua temuan pokok sebagai sorotan utama dalam studi kasus ini: (1) Model pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) dapat menciptakan atmosfer belajar yang lebih antusias bagi siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran, ditandai dengan keinginan mereka untuk bertanya dan menyatakan pendapat. (2) Model Market Place Activity (MPA) juga dapat membentuk karakter siswa secara langsung, terbukti dari rasa tanggung jawab mereka terhadap proses pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung. Dengan demikian, model Market Place Activity (MPA) dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Negeri 2 Samarinda dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pembelajaran secara keseluruhan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Rekontruksialisme merupakan perspektif penting dalam filsafat pendidikan Islam yang mendorong transformasi dan perubahan dalam sistem pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan ini menekankan pentingnya menghadapi tantangan zaman modern dengan pemikiran yang inovatif dan relevan. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, Rekontruksialisme menawarkan prinsip-prinsip dan konsep yang berfokus pada pembaruan kurikulum, metode pengajaran, dan pemahaman nilai-nilai Islam yang diperlukan dalam kehidupan kontemporer. Pendidikan Islam harus melampaui pembelajaran klasik dan tradisional, juga dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan dunia modern yang terus berubah. Pembaruan kurikulum menjadi salah satu aspek utama yang ditekankan, dengan memperkenalkan materi yang relevan dengan perkembangan sosial, ekonomi, sains, dan teknologi. Kurikulum ini juga harus mempertimbangkan pembelajaran yang holistik, termasuk pengembangan keterampilan sosial, kritis, kreatif, dan spiritual. Selain itu, metode pengajaran juga menjadi fokus utama dalam Rekontruksialisme. Pendekatan yang inovatif dan berpusat pada peserta didik diperlukan untuk memastikan pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik. Pendekatan ini melibatkan penggunaan teknologi, proyek kolaboratif, diskusi, dan simulasi yang memungkinkan peserta didik untuk terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan menerapkan pemahaman mereka dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Pemahaman tentang prinsip-prinsip keadilan, kesetaraan, perdamaian dan toleransi dalam Islam serta penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

In the midst of the dynamics of globalization and technological advances, new challenges and opportunities arise, requiring renewal and modernization in the approach to Islamic education. This research aims to provide a critical review of the modernization of Islamic education, especially in the context of curriculum transformation and learning methodology. Beiduzzaman Said Nursi has a concept of modern Islamic Education. that Said Nursi's thoughts on education have been updated by combining religious principles with modern theories. According to Nursi, humans are only meaningful if they are bound and dependent on God, so that the human ability to think about nature is the result of God's light. It is on this basis that all science arises for the sole purpose of studying the signs of God's power and is a science with a religious spirit. This eliminates the bias against religion and contemporary science, both of which secularism instills.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine how perennialism addresses the challenges posed by the transition of moral education in the contemporary day, characterized by numerous instances of moral decline. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology, utilizing a literature review as the primary research technique. Perennialism posits ideas on the necessity for humans to acclimate and modify their behavior in response to shifts in the world. Character education, with the perennialism theory, focuses on how individuals conform to the inherent good principles inside themselves. Perennialism in character education emerged as a response to and remedy for the cultural turmoil in contemporary society. The concept of perennialism advocates for a return to the past by reinstating the enduring values and ideals that were deeply ingrained in ancient societies. Character education is a means to attain a reversion to the fundamental values and principles of life. To ensure the preservation of Indonesian identity in future generations, The Perennialism ideology is a viable option that should be implemented in character education. The findings of this research are anticipated to have a substantial impact on the formulation of enduring character education strategies, aimed at cultivating a generation that possesses not only academic proficiency but also a firm grounding in the esteemed principles of the nation and the teachings of Islam

Abstract

This research examines the application of the Targhib wa Tarhib method in understanding the character growth of students at Daarul Ukhuwah As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative type of field research. Sources of research data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation from the field at Daarul Ukhuwah As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School. The approach used in this research is a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Targhib wa Tarhib method has a significant role in cultivating the five-soul character at the Daarul Ukhuwah As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School. There are several factors that influence the growth of the five soul characters, namely a conducive educational environment, the role of a good educator, positive social interaction, understanding and awareness of religious values, as well as family and community support. There are also supporting factors in the application of the Targhib wa Tarhib method including the existence of a conducive educational environment, the role of a good educator, the use of appropriate reinforcement, an emphasis on gentleness in educating, and consistency in the application of the method. However, there are also inhibiting factors, such as disproportionate punishments, lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of building the five souls character, and lack of support from the educational environment and family.

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to find out how Ibn Sina thinks about education and its relevance in the era or society 5.0. in order to encourage the development or Islamic religious education, efforts are needed to research and expand the scientific knowledge of Ibn Sina?s thought of Islamic education, for the sake of scientific wealth and the benefits of knowledge both among educational institutions and the wider community, more specifically Muslim increase their understanding of Ibn Sina?s thoughts in education, so that Muslim to understand and understand more deeply. This type of research is literature and the method used in this research uses the documentation method (data collection), which tries to present or present data and information in depth and intact, then analyses it with the approach of Islamic philosophy as the analysis knife, then we take the opinions or educational experts, then we take the opinions or educational expert. The results of this study indicate that Ibnu Sina?s thoughts about education are compatible with other educational experts and there is relevance in the era of society 5.0, that human education must mobilize all human potential (human beings) including experts in technology who do not inly emphasize business. Of course, but with the technology of the era of society 5.0, a new value is created that will eliminate social, age, gender, language specifically desgned for various individual needs and the needs of many people.
