Abstract

In an effort to improve the degree of public health, human resources are needed who have the capacity, competence and professionalism in their fields so that they are able to apply the knowledge and knowledge they have in health services to the community. Without competence supported by reliable human resources, a hospital will have difficulty competing with other hospitals. To improve HR performance, it is necessary to pay attention to satisfaction factors at work. To know and analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, work quality, quantity of work, punctuality, work effectiveness, independence and work commitment on HR performance. is a descriptive research with a quantitative analytical approach. The population in this study was all human resources at RSU Martha Friska Multatuli Medan totaling 231 people, the sample of this study was 231 using total sampling techniques. of the study using the chi square statistical test obtained results: leadership style (p = 0.000), work motivation (p = 0.027), work quality (p = 0.000), work quantity (p = 0.000), punctuality (p = 0.00), work effectiveness (p = 0.000), independence (p = 0.000), work commitment (p = 0.000). Which shows the influence of HR performance of RSU Martha Friska Medan, and by using multiple logistic regression, the most dominant variable is work commitment, this can be seen from the Exp (B) value of 6,067 (which means that work commitment has 6 times more influence on the performance of human resources at RSU Martha Friska Multatuli Medan.

Abstract

In the era of global reform and information, public services by government officials today still have many weaknesses so that they have not been able to meet the quality expected by the community. This is indicated by the existence of various public complaints submitted through the mass media and social networks as well as the results of a community satisfaction survey which stated that the permit issuance process took a long time, the information conveyed was not clear and not transparent. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the process of issuing health worker permits using the Medan Sipandu Application on Community Satisfaction in Dpmptsp Medan City This type of research is Quantitative Analytical research, namely the method in the form of numeric data using a cross sectional approach, with a sample of 200 people. The results of this study are that the variable that has the most influence on the satisfaction of health workers regarding the use of the Sipandu Medan Application is complaint handling. statistical test resultsearned valuep significance is 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of handling complaints on the satisfaction of health workers regarding the use of the Sipandu Medan Application.SIPANDU is here to make it easier for the public to submit related complaints.

Abstract

There are still deficiencies in the achievement of UCI (Universal Child Immunization) in villages/wards. This is due, among other things, to the lack of attention and support from various parties towards the immunization program. This study aims to analyze the influence of leader behavior and management of the health center on the performance of the immunization program at the Kuala Bali Health Center Serdang Bedagai. This type of research is a quantitative researchwith a cross sectional design. The location of this research was conductedinKuala Bali Health Center, Serdang Bedagai. The research population is all121 midwives in 17 sub-districts of the Kuala Bali Serdang Bedagai Health Center, and 1 person in charge of immunization services so that it consists of 122 people.The sample in the study amounted to 122 patients. Survey data were analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results showed that there was an effect of decision making on performance, there was an effect of leadership style on performance, there was an effect of delegation of tasks on performance, there was an influence on how to communicate on performance, there was an influence on planning on performance, there was an effect on organizing on the performance of the immunization program, there was an influence on implementation on the performance of the immunization program, there is an influence of supervision on the performance of the immunization program at the Kuala Bali Serdang Bedagai Health Center. The variable that has the most influence on the performance of the immunization program at the Kuala Bali Serdang Bedagai Health Center is the organizing variable.The results of this study suggest thatThe results of this research are used as input for evaluating the implementation of the immunization program, in order to provide guidance to the leaders of the Public Health Center to improve their abilities in leader behavior and management processes, especially in organizing so that the performance of the midwives becomes even better.

Abstract

Logistics management is the science and/or art of planning and determining needs, procurement, storage, distribution, maintenance, disposal and control of medical devices. Provision of logistics at the Puskesmas is a matter that needs to be considered for its provision through a good and orderly management system. This management system can be carried out in several ways, namely through supervision, supervision, monitoring and evaluation related to the implementation of logistics provision. The purpose of this study was to analyze the evaluation process, supervision work, policies, supervision in health and health monitoring of the Head of the Puskesmas regarding the provision of logistics at the UPTD Puskesmas Lahusa. This type of research is descriptive analytic, quantitative approach with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were all staff involved in implementing logistics provision at the Lahusa Health Center. The sampling technique is the total population, that is, the entire population is used as a research sample totaling 112 people. The results showed that all variables had a significant effect between evaluation, supervision work, policy, supervision in health and health monitoring of the Head of the Puskesmas on the provision of logistics at the UPTD Puskesmas Lahusa. The results of this study are expected to be input for the puskesmas management services to pay more attention to the implementation of logistics provision.

Abstract

Performance measurement is needed to assess the accountability of an organization in producing better and right on target services and performance. The Balanced Score Card was created to overcome a problem in the organization regarding weaknesses in an executive performance measurement system. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of nurses using the balanced scorecard method at South Nias Hospital. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique in this study was Arikunto's formula, based on this formula, the number of samples in this study became 31 people. The results of the study explain that there is a relationship between financial, consumer, innovative and perspective with the performance of nurses in South Nias Hospital. This research can be used as basic information and data for improving the quality of services at South Nias Hospital.

Abstract

An important indicator to determine the quality of service in a hospital is about the completeness of the hospital's medical record files. There are many problems arise due to incomplete medical record files and do not recorded neatly and regularly. The incident is due to lack of medical team awareness in recording all information or actions that would be given to the patient. The aim of this study is to analyse the effect of Job Demand-Control-Support and Protection Motivation on compliance in filling out Medical Record files at RSU ESHMUN Medan 2023. This study uses quantitative research method which is analytical in nature. The total sampling of this study is 115 active nurses at RSU ESHMUN Medan. The result of the study informs that there are very strong and significant effect among Job Demand-Control-Support and Protection Motivation on compliance in filling out Medical Record files at RSU ESHMUN Medan 2023. The variable that has the most influence on Obedience with filling in inpatient medical record files at RSU ESHMUN in 2023 is the Protection Motivation variable. It is recommended to RSU ESHMUN Medan to improve the administration pattern in order to all of nurses have the same job demands and receive the same support.

Abstract

Incident safety patients must be minimized to avoid undesirable danger during maintenance in the hospital. Perception of health workers reporting patient safety incidents at the Royal Prima Medan General Hospital still needs to be higher. Low perception of health workers in writing incident Patient safety is related to individual and organizational factors. The study aims to identify the influence factor on patients' personal and corporate incident safety in the inpatient room of royal prima hospital medan. The type of research used is a method survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population in the study of health workers at the Royal Prima General Hospital in Medan was 259 people, and the sample was 119. Collection data with primary, secondary, and tertiary data was analyzed with multiple logistic regression statistical tests with a level of trust of 95%. Results study show bring individual factors (knowledge with p-value = 0.021 and experience with p-value=0.021) effect-on-patient safety incident reporting and organizational factors (organizational environment with p-value = 0.038 and power with p-value=0.014) effect on reporting incident safety patient, individual characteristics (motivation with p-value = 0.557) have no impact on writing incident safety patient And factor organization (organizational culture with p-value =0.535) has no effect to reporting incident patient safety and most influence reporting incident patient safety in Royal Prima General Hospital Medan is a knowledge variable (OR=155.6). They are recommended for a hospital for-develop system information integration related to writing incident patient safety and officer health to increase the perception of officer health through improvement, knowledge, and experience of officer health.

Abstract

Human resources in a hospital are expected to always provide maximum and optimum performance in providing services to their patients. Nurses dominate the number of health officers in a hospital and hold an important role because they serve patients 24 hours. This study aims to determine the effect of training, incentive provision, work promotion, and participation in policymaking on the performance of nurses in Royal Prima Marelan General Hospital. This is a quantitative study with a descriptive-analytic design. The population consisted of all nurse executives in the Royal Prima Marelan General Hospital. Two hundred and twenty-four samples were taken using the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed with univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. Results showed that age, education, and years of service affect the performance of nurses in Royal Prima Marelan General Hospital. However, gender did not affect the performance. Training affected nurse performance with a p-value of 0.05. Work promotion and participation in policymaking also affected the performance of nurses with a p-value of 0.05 on both aspects. Nurses’ characteristics, training, incentive provision, work promotion, and participation in policymaking simultaneously affect the performance of nurses in Royal Prima Marelan General Hospital. The most influential independent variable was participation in policymaking.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the quality of service on outpatient satisfaction at Al Islam Hospital Bandung. where this research uses quantitative research methods. where this research was conducted in the Clinical Pathology Laboratory unit by distributing 45 questionnaires to 45 outpatient respondents. The results of the research show that the spearmen's rank correlation calculation is 0.92, indicating that the service quality variable has a very strong relationship with patient satisfaction. Calculation of the determinant coefficient obtained a result of 84.6%, indicating that the service quality variable has an influence on patient satisfaction of 84.6%. The conclusion obtained from the results of this research is that the quality of laboratory services has a very strong influence on outpatient satisfaction

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit Tuberkulisis (TB) merupakan salah satu penyakit kesehatan masyarakat secara global hingga saat ini. Berhenti konsumi obat sebelum 6 bulan dapat meningkatkan risiko kematian bagi penderita dan penularan bagi orang lain termasuk anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis determinan kejadian putus berobat (drop out) pasien TB. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan berupa crossectional. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Aek Goti Kecamatan Silangkitang Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan. Waktu penelitian dimulai dari bulan Januari-Mei 2024. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita TB yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Aek Goti sebanyak 200 orang. Besar sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji uji Chi Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian melaporkan bahwa pengetahuan pasien TB paling banyak pada kategorik kurang baik sebanyak 52%. Sebanyak 87% dukungan pendamping minum obat adalah tidak aktif. Sebanyak 96% responden mengalami efek samping obat dengan kategorik berat. Sebanyak 95% tenaga kesehatan adalah mendukung pasien TB untuk berobat.   Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan, dukungan petugas kesehatan serta efek samping obat signifikan terhadap kejadian putus berobat pada pasien TB.
