Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh agama, khususnya penyembahan kepada Tuhan dan praktik keagamaan, terhadap kebijakan politik para raja yang terdapat dalam Kitab 2 Raja-Raja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara keyakinan religius dan tindakan politik, memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana agama dapat menjadi alat untuk legitimasi kekuasaan dan pengaruh dalam konteks sosial. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis hermeneutik dan tinjauan literatur, dengan fokus pada teks-teks kitab suci dan konteks sejarah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan terhadap mandat religius secara signifikan membentuk keputusan para penguasa, mempengaruhi tata kelola dan tatanan masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami peran agama di masyarakat pluralistik kontemporer, menyoroti relevansinya yang terus berlanjut.

Abstract

The world food crisis, triggered by various factors such as climate change, geopolitical conflicts, and a global pandemic, has had significant impacts on food security in various countries, including Indonesia. This article aims to identify and analyze sustainable strategies that can be implemented to address the impacts of the global food crisis on Indonesian food security and achieve food self-sufficiency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach using relevant sources. The research results indicate that sustainable strategy efforts to achieve national food security and food self-sufficiency include: (1) Increasing the productivity of agricultural food commodity, (2) Expansion of agricultural areas, (3) Diversification of local carbohydrate food sources, (4) Optimizing marine resource, (5) Community empowerment, and (6) Policy support and holistic cooperation. Overall, national food security can be achieved through a holistic socio-economic approach involving various aspects, from stakeholders, academia, and society.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi mitra Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Dusun Pucung, Ngargosari, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo agar: (1) memiliki legalitas usaha yang sah, serta (2) mampu mengembangkan usaha melalui pemanfaatan pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut meliputi penyuluhan, wawancara, diskusi dengan mitra, serta observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program berjalan dengan lancar dan memberikan beberapa luaran, yaitu: (1) diperolehnya legalitas usaha berupa sertifikat izin berusaha dari instansi berwenang yang dapat diakses secara mudah, cepat, dan terjangkau; (2) peningkatan aspek branding dan pengemasan produk mitra; serta (3) tersedianya platform pemasaran digital bagi produk mitra melalui media sosial Instagram.Adapun kendala yang dihadapi pada tahap awal kegiatan berupa keraguan pelaku usaha dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, namun hal tersebut dapat diatasi melalui pendampingan yang intensif dan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar mitra pelaku usaha secara konsisten melakukan pembaruan (update) konten dan pengelolaan platform pemasaran digital guna meningkatkan jangkauan pasar dan keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

The advancement of human civilisation and the development of the global economy in various fields has now entered Indonesia with various new digital-based technologies and is currently known as the industrial era 4.0 which is based on cyber physical systems. Digitalisation in various fields is currently also intensively carried out in the tourism sector which is one of the country's foreign exchange boosters. Indonesia's tourism development is supported by adequate human resources and the diversity of natural resources which is an added value in order to sedate tourists to visit tourist destinations in Indonesia. The tourism village will later become an independent tourism village with sustainable tourism village certification. The assistance is carried out through the development of Human Resources in the management of tourist villages, product development or travel patterns, and digital development. In the management of digitalisation-based Independent Tourism Villages, the 7 destinations have used websites as a marketing communication medium. With the existence of digital technology-based marketing communication, many Tourism Villages are now increasingly recognised by the wider community across time and space. Marketing communication through websites is one of the right strategies for tourism businesses because it is a more efficient and effective media display and has a positive significance for the tourism sector.

Abstract

This research intends to describe a preliminary study of students' critical and creative thinking skill profiles at one of the State High Schools in Madiun, East Java, as well as their empowerment efforts. The type of research carried out was quantitative descriptive. The research population was students who had received virus material. This study's data collection used questionnaires and essay questions adjusted to the sub-indicators of critical and creative thinking skills. The findings indicated that 86.4% of pupils encountered difficulties comprehending virus-related content. The learning method that is often used is the conventional method, the learning resources that were often used were textbooks and PowerPoint as a frequently used learning medium. The correlation between the biology textbook used with critical thinking indicators is only 27.78% and 28.13% for creative thinking indicators. The profile of students' critical thinking skills obtained results of 32.23% (Interpretation), 28.97% (Analysis), 30.08% (Inference), 24.16% (Evaluation), 33.56% (Explanation), and 34.29% (Self-regulation). The profile of students' creative thinking skills obtained results of 37.07% (Fluency), 30.83% (Flexibility), 35.68% (Originality), and 27.96% (Elaboration). The conclusion is that students' critical and creative thinking skills are relatively low, so innovative learning is needed to empower these skills

Abstract

Integrating local content into learning is important for connecting the material to students' daily lives, especially in science education. The use of local knowledge can enhance students' understanding and appreciation, but its application still varies across different schools. This study aims to analyze primary school science teachers' understanding of the application of local content in science learning and to evaluate the extent to which this is applied in lesson planning in East Lombok Regency. Additionally, this research also identifies the constraints encountered in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design with data collection methods including questionnaires, observation, RPP analysis, and in-depth interviews to explore understanding, perspectives, and challenges related to the implementation of local content. The integration of local content into science learning in five primary schools and madrasahs in East Lombok remains limited, with only about 18% of grade 5 and 11% of grade 6 material covering local contexts. The main discussion points include limited resources, lack of training, and a rigid curriculum. Reliance on standard textbooks and national policies also hinders the adaptation of materials to the local context. The integration of local content into science learning remains low. Professional development for teachers, increased curriculum flexibility, and the provision of appropriate resources are necessary. Future research could explore strategies to strengthen the integration of local knowledge in science learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of a gamification-based learning model on learning outcomes and student learning motivation in ecosystem materials, as well as to explore the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental pretest-post test non-equivalent control group design was used. The subjects were tenth-grade high school students selected using the cluster random sampling. Data was collected using validated tests and questionnaires and analyzed using ANCOVA and Pearson Product-Moment correlation tests. Hypothesis testing was done with the ANCOVA test and the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test. The results showed that the gamification-based discovery learning model had a significant effect on both learning outcomes (sig. = 0.028) and learning motivation (sig. = 0.00) with a moderate effect size. Furthermore, a strong positive correlation was also identified between learning motivation and learning outcomes after the application of the model. This research concludes that the integration of gamification elements into the discovery learning model is an effective pedagogical approach for fostering student motivation and improving academic achievement in secondary education.

Abstract

Membership of the Indonesian Vanilla Spice producer cooperative "KARAVAN" with a Secretariat office in Donohudan-Surakarta, consisting of 18 districts/cities including Semarang, Ungaran, Kudus, Pati, Grobogan, Blora, Salatiga, Temanggung, Magelang, Kendal, Pekalongan, Karanganyar, Wonogiri , Tegal, Surakarta, Purwokerto, Banyumas, Purworejo, Kulonprogo (DIY). The number of members of the 126 farmer cooperative is around 1300 farmers. The production capacity of assisted vanilla farmers for green reaches 7-8.5 tons of green with a distribution on the Muria slope of around 1-1.5 tons. Salatiga, Ambarawa, Temanggung 2 tons. Wonosobo, Pekalongan, Kendal to Tegal around 3-4 tons, Magelang Purworejo, Banyumas around 2.5-3.5 tons per year. Some potential buyer countries include Switzerland, Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Taiwan. One of the requirements for export is proof of vanillin content testing from a laboratory that has been accredited by KAN, including the UNS Integrated Laboratory UPT. Funding assistance for vanillin level testing is very necessary for farmers. This service helps with the costs of testing vanillin levels at different locations and finding optimal post-harvest handling standards for all members so that the results of vanillin levels can be uniform. Activities that have been carried out include holding an FGD between Karavan farmer cooperative partners and the UNS Integrated Laboratory UPT, BSN (National Standardization Agency) and the Plant Biomaterials Research Group on Wednesday, June 12 2024. This activity aims to make the vanilla farmer cooperative a BSN foster partner in assisting with SNI registration. Also making service partners the main clients in testing vanillin levels at the UNS Integrated Laboratory UPT. Various issues regarding germplasm, cultivation and post-harvest are assisted by the Plant Biomaterials Research Group. This service also involved taking part in an exhibition for the 48th Anniversary in front of the Rectorate on Friday – Saturday 21-22 June 2024. To train and apply the technology for drying vanilla fruit in an oven, research was carried out based on existing journals on vanilla fruit. The best treatment for drying and heating treatment is a water temperature of 55 oC and an oven of 40 oC ( on September 19). The vanillin content test was carried out and the levels were measured in 9 samples from 7 regions. From Tegal (Guci area) the vanillin levels were 1.70%, 1.78% and 1.73% with a standard deviation of 0.04%, the three samples were not significantly different. From Kudus (Mount Muria) 1.86%, Grobogan Sukolilo (North Gendeng) 1.54%, Lumajang (Bromo) 1.20%, Ambarawa 1.46%, Pati 1.59%, Magelang (Gunung Kelir-Ngablak) 1, 52%. The highest levels were from Kudus, followed by Tegal, Pati, Grobogan, Magelang, Ambarawa, and the lowest was Lumajang. Kata kunci :  Vanillin levels, germplasm, exports, Karavan vanilla farmers' cooperative

Abstract

This research investigates the strategic implementation of local potential through digital communication channels at the Omah Wayang tourism village in Sidowarno Village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency. The study addresses the critical challenge of underutilized cultural resources and tourism potential within the region, with particular emphasis on Omah Wayang, a community organization dedicated to preserving and transmitting the philosophical and artistic values of traditional shadow puppetry (wayang). More than just an art form, wayang embodies profound Javanese wisdom such as pitutur luhur (moral advice), balance (keseimbangan), and harmony (rukun), which are continually passed down through intergenerational learning at Omah Wayang. Through a qualitative descriptive methodology, incorporating systematic field observations and in-depth stakeholder interviews, this research examines indigenous assets such as traditional crafts, culinary heritage, and cultural performances. The investigation expands beyond puppetry to explore how broader cultural expressions can be strategically incorporated into digital communication practices. The findings present actionable strategies for enhancing tourism visibility through culturally grounded digital platforms while ensuring the authenticity and sustainability of local traditions. This study contributes to local economic revitalization and the preservation of intangible heritage, offering a replicable digital communication framework that bridges traditional knowledge systems with contemporary tourism promotion. The research emphasizes the importance of community-based institutions like Omah Wayang in mediating between cultural continuity and innovation in the digital era

Biodiversitas 17: 422-429. The objective of this study was to evaluate morphological, anatomical and isozyme variation among giant taro (Alocasia macrorrhizos (L.) G.Don) accessions from Central Java. Identification of morphological characters was done by direct observation of roots, leaves, stems, and corms. Anatomical characters were observed from both paradermal and transverse sections of leaf. Identification of biochemical markers was done by using peroxidase and esterase isozyme system. The genetic similarity among giant taro accessions was measured by using Group Average Clustering. The results of the analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences for majority of the tested morphological and anatomical characters suggesting that there was a high degree of diversity among the giant taro accessions. Isozyme polymorphism was observed in giant taro accessions using peroxidase (two banding patterns) and esterase (four banding patterns). Based on the dendogram, giant taro accessions were segregated into two major clusters. In Cluster I, the closest relationship were showed in KTN 2 and WNG 1 accessions from Klaten and Wonogiri that had 80.95% of similarity coefficient. The five accessions (SKA, SKH, WNG 4, KRA 3, KRA 4) from Surakarta, Sukoharjo, Wonogiri and some parts of Karanganyar were clustered separately as Cluster II with similarity coefficient of 50%.
