Abstract

This study explores the relationship between entrepreneurship and ecological awareness with a focus on the Enzim Bakti community, using a descriptive qualitative approach. The Enzim Bakti community, known for its efforts in utilizing enzymes to support environmentally friendly practices, serves as a case study to understand how entrepreneurship can be integrated with the principles of ecological sustainability. Through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, this study identifies various aspects of entrepreneurship implemented in this community and their impact on the ecological awareness of its members. The results show that entrepreneurship in the Enzim Bakti community is not only focused on creating economic value but also contributes significantly to environmental sustainability goals. Community members develop innovations that are oriented towards waste reduction, resource efficiency, and maintaining environmental quality. Ecological awareness, instilled through education and daily practices, plays a significant role in shaping entrepreneurial strategies that support environmental goals. These findings highlight that the integration of sustainability principles in entrepreneurship can have positive impacts on both business and the environment, and provide insights into how entrepreneurial communities can contribute to broader ecological awareness.

Abstract

The development of information technology, especially social media, has paved the way for the theory and concept of global citizenship. Integration and connection allow everyone to convey citizens' opinions, ideas, criticism, and actions. Based on the literature and previous studies, social media is analyzed in terms of benefits and disadvantages. This study aims to emphasize the use of social media among students, especially as a means of becoming global citizens. This research was conducted using qualitative methods by analyzing various literature and sources, which were then described. The study results a show that student activity in social media contributes to a new media ecology called global citizen solidarity in social media. Student solidarity in viewing various problems that occur led to civic action. Student actions on social media in various fields and issues on global issues such as politics, religion, economy, environment, health, philanthropy, and human rights reinforce the concept of being global citizens. The transformation regarding the use of social media by students into a theoretical framework for global citizen practice. It is important to re-describe the concept of global citizenship or cosmopolitanism through social media to create world citizen solidarity as a sense of responsibility in dealing with global problems and promoting world peace.

Abstract

Guru memiliki yang sangat strategis bagi kemajuan pendidikan suatu bangsa. Namun, pada tataran kebijakan dan implementasi profesi guru masih menyisakan berbagai persoalan baik menyangkut status guru sebagai profesi maupun kebijakan pendidikan profesi guru. Adanya Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen atau UUGD menjadi landasan hukum bagi profesi guru. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yakni dalam UUGD terdapat ketentuan yang menegaskan profesi guru tidak lain merupakan profesi yang amat terbuka. Artinya setiap sarjana baik dari lulusan sarjana pendidikan maupun nonkependidikan pun memiliki kesempatan yang sama menjadi guru jika memenuhi persyaratan yang telah diamanatkan oleh UUGD, diantaranya yaitu memiliki kualifikasi akademik minimal S1 atau D-IV kependidikan maupun nonkependidikan, memiliki kompetensi yang diperoleh melalui pendidikan profesi guru serta memiliki sertifikat pendidik. Penyelenggaraan pendidikan profesi guru setelah berlakunya UUGD menggunakan model konsekutif (consecutive). Akan tetapi disisi lain juga masih mempertahankan model konkuren (concurrent) yang diselenggarakan pada perguruan tinggi LPTK.

Abstract

Strengthening Pancasila philanthropy through the voluntary sector to develop civic competence is carried out on the basis of how existing Pancasila education learning is not only textual learning but must be contextual and become meaningful learning. The role of the younger generation in philanthropic activities is needed, where their involvement can change the gap that occurs in society. The presence of a volunteer Turun Tangan Community has practiced social philanthropy by conducting an educational movement called Kelas Negarawan Muda (KNM) as an effort to develop its Civic Competence, but the educational movement or activity needs to be adjusted to the values of Pancasila. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method in exploring and describing how to strengthen Pancasila philanthropy through the voluntary sector to develop civic competence. Strengthening Pancasila philanthropy in the era of globalization can have a positive impact on the voluntary sector in developing its citizenship competence, as done through a project called Kelas Negarawan Muda (KNM).

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi dan konstruksi pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis civic philanthropy terhadap pemenuhan hak politik penyandang disabilitas. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode literature review. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis civic philanthropy relevan terhadap pemenuhan hak politik penyandang disabilitas. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis civic philanthropy dapat ditinjau berdasarkan civic education dan citizenship education. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis civic philanthropy dalam paradigma civic education mengarah pada pembelajaran tentang konsep kesetaraan, sedangkan dalam paradigma citizenship education mengarah pada penguatan sikap toleransi dalam masyarakat. Pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan berbasis civic philanthropy untuk memenuhi hak politik penyandang disabilitas dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan service learning dengan kolaborasi pentahelix antara pemerintah, akademisi, komunitas, swasta, dan media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of civics learning based on digital citizenship development and the integration of digital citizenship models through civics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data collection technique uses the literature study method by reviewing various literature. The results of the study show that the role of civics learning based on digital citizenship development is as a strategy so that students have the qualities to be able to face the challenges of the times. The integration of the digital citizenship development model through civics learning is based on the behaviorist theory of operant conditioning, namely changes in student behavior caused by positive responses. The new concept of digital citizenship through civics learning must be implemented in the digital era so that teachers and students can use technology wisely and judiciously.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana nilai nasionalisme dalam olahraga yang terlahir karena adanya partisipasi warga negara (civic participation) untuk melahirkan prestasi nasional. Pendekatan yang digunakan yakni kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Peneliti memfokuskan teknik penelitian ini melalui teknik wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dengan partisipan langsung. Tujuannya agar memperoleh esensi dari pengalaman partisipan yang diceritakan terkait kajian penelitian sebagaimana orientasi dari studi fenomenologi. Adapun temuan yang diperoleh berupa bentuk konkret yang dilakukan atlet elit nasional dalam mengaktualisasikan nilai nasionalisme. Didukung dengan komponen lainnya yaitu pelatih nasional, validasi dari stakeholder keolahragaan (Kemenpora RI dan National Olympic Commitee (NOC), dan Ahli Kebijakan dan Pengembangan Olahraga. Temuan tersebut dikaitkan dengan indikator dari civic participation sebagai landasan awal terlibat aktif berpartisipasi untuk dikembangkan pada nilai nasionalisme. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwasannya nasionalisme merujuk pada semangat patriotisme dan identitas nasional yang tercermin dalam kompetisi olahraga antarnegara. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa realitas pada olahraga prestasi menjadi sebuah ruang gemilang dalam menggembleng partisipasi warga negara secara aktif yang Pancasilais. Walaupun dewasa ini terdapat sedikit pergeseran pada nilai nasionalisme yang berkaitan dengan sifat materialistik. Maka dari itu, perlu kiranya memperkuat kembali komitmen dan loyalitas dengan mananamkan prinsip “NKRI harga mati”. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman pembaca bahwa nyatanya olahraga dapat menjadi sarana pembangun nasionalisme di suatu negara. Abstract

The main challenge of education is to require students to have social skills. However, there are still many students who need more social skills. Students who lack social skills will feel challenged or have more difficulty adapting to the school environment. Based on this, this study aims to analyze 21st-century competencies (4C) to improve students' social skills. The method used in this study is a survey research method with a quantitative approach. This study uses a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was 423 class students. The sample of this study was 166 students. The methods of collecting data used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The instrument used in collecting data was a questionnaire sheet. The technique used to analyze the data was inferential statistics. The study results positively influenced 21st-century competencies (4C) and students' social skills. The regression coefficient shows that 21st-century competencies (4C) positively affect students' social skills. It is concluded that 21st-century competencies (4C) can improve students' social skills. Students' social skills are becoming increasingly important in the digital era. Therefore, improving students' social skills with 21st-century competencies (4C) in the learning process is necessary.

Abstract

One effort to strengthen the idea of democratic policing is through civic education. This research has the main aim of analyzing the conceptual aspects contained in civic education in order to provide strengthening ideas for democratic policing. This research also attempts to outline the challenges of democratic policing as viewed from the perspective of civic education in Indonesia. This article uses Gary Goertz's three-level conceptual analysis framework to dissect the conceptual dimensions in civic education that are useful for strengthening democratic policing. Qualitatively, data was obtained using literature studies from various books, journal articles, report documents, and other literature. This study shows that civic education, which is integrated with democracy, politics, law, human rights, anti-corruption, and peace education, can be a vehicle for conceptually strengthening the idea of democratic policing. In addition, this study found a number of challenges for civic education in strengthening democratic policing efforts in Indonesia. The main challenges are the problems that occur in the police institution, including not yet fully supporting democratic culture and spaces for citizens, the issue of police neutrality in political life, the practice of violations of law and human rights by police officers, the existence of corrupt behavior, and the fact that the police has not yet fully become a humanist and non-violent institution. This study requires further research to see to what extent the implementation of the concept of civic education can strengthen democratic policing efforts that are oriented to the citizenship dimension.

Abstract

Character education has become an important concern in developing the education system in Indonesia over the past decade. To face complex challenges in an ever-evolving society, strengthening character education is important in shaping individuals with integrity, ethics and good personality. Therefore, this study aims to analyse and evaluate the innovation of the character education strengthening program model implemented in the curriculum in Indonesia. The approach of this research used descriptive qualitative with literature study method to collect information from various reliable sources such as scientific journals, books, and official publications. The results of this analysis and evaluation discuss various innovations in the character education strengthening model implemented in Indonesia during this period, including the approaches, strategies, and methods used. The findings of this research are. Firstly, various innovative models of strengthening character education have been implemented in Indonesia, including value-based learning approaches, character education through extracurricular activities, and the integration of character education in all subjects. Secondly, implementing these innovations has a positive impact on shaping students' character, such as increasing positive attitudes, social care, ethics, and integrity. However, there are also challenges including the lack of understanding and full involvement of all education stakeholders. The study concludes that the integration of character education should be an integral part of the curriculum at all levels of education. This research contributes to the development of character education in Indonesia by presenting innovative models of strengthening character education that have been implemented and highlighting the challenges that need to be overcome
