Abstract

Independence refers to an individual's ability to carry out daily activities without relying on others, such as self-care, interacting with the surrounding environment, and completing tasks autonomously. It also encompasses emotional, behavioral, moral, and intellectual aspects that enable a person to navigate daily life without dependence on others. This study aims to analyze the level of independence among children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities at MILB YKTM Budi Asih. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through observations and interviews with students with intellectual disabilities, their parents, and teachers. The findings indicate that the level of independence among children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities at MILB YKTM Budi Asih varies across emotional, behavioral, moral, and intellectual aspects. Although there remains some dependence on parents for certain daily activities, the specialized education provided by the school has made efforts to support the development of independence among these children and adolescents.

Abstract

A critical element in the learning process is student participation. However, children with disabilities sometimes have obstacles to participate in the classroom. Therefore, this study focuses on observing the active participation of students with disabilities in Talenta Semarang Kindergarten and the methods used to stimulate participation. Active participation is examined from two aspects, namely ecology and pedagogy. This research is qualitative, using observation and interview data collection methods. The analysis technique used is descriptive phenomenology, which is a technique for understanding the subject's experience by describing the essential features of a phenomenon without interpreting it. The study results showed that the students with disabilities at Talenta Semarang Kindergarten could show limited participation levels in the ecological and pedagogical aspects. In this case, each student showed different levels according to their abilities. In addition, teachers can also show some methods to provoke students with disabilities to participate in the learning process in the classroom. This research also discusses the obstacles and challenges faced by students with disabilities in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy guru dengan sikap guru sekolah penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di Semarang. Self-efficacy guru merupakan keyakinan guru pada kapasitas pengajaran yang diberikan dalam memberikan dampak positif dan menjadikan siswa sukses dalam pembelajaran. Sikap guru adalah suatu cara guru untuk memberikan tanggapan penilaian yang dapat menyenangkan atau tidak menyenangkan terhadap sesuatu atau seseorang. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 97 responden yang merupakan guru sekolah dasar negeri inklusif dari wilayah Semarang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Spearman's Rho dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan self-efficacy guru dengan sikap guru terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi di sekolah dasar di semarang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara kedua variabel tersebut. Artinya, semakin tinggi keyakinan diri guru dalam kemampuan mengajar di Sekolah Dasar inklusi, semakin tinggi pula respons positif guru terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has pushed the dissemination of news through online media, demanding a language that is fast, concise, and informative to ensure accurate news delivery. This necessity positions the syntactic structure, particularly the phrase, as a critical element in determining the quality and communication effectiveness of digital news. This study has a dual objective: to comprehensively identify and analyze the types of phrases found in five online news articles published by CNBC Indonesia in August 2025, and to elucidate the grammatical function of each phrase  within the context of news sentences. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative method, involving a systematic process of reading, noting, and accurately analyzing the textual data repeatedly. The results indicate a diversity  of phrase types, with a significant dominance of  noun and verb phrases. The findings also include adjectival, prepositional, adverbial, numerical, exocentric, and endocentric phrases, which collectively enrich the linguistic structure, enhance information richness, and greatly facilitate reader comprehension of the news content. These findings not only highlight the specific patterns of phrase usage in digital news writing but also provide deep insights into their structural and grammatical roles. This study is expected to serve as a valuable reference for linguistic research and language learning, as well as offering practical guidance for online media practitioners to continuously improve the clarity, effectiveness, and quality of news writing in the digital realm.

Abstract

Coordinating conjunctions are conjunctions that function to connect two language units that have the same or equal status, while subordinating conjunctions are conjunctions that connect two language units that do not have the same or equal status. News text is a text that contains information about factual and actual events that are still hotly discussed by the public. This study aims to analyze the use of coordinating and subordinating conjunctions in news articles published by Kompas in September 2025. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, with observation and note taking techniques applied to analyze conjunctions based on their types and functions. The results show that coordinating conjunctions such as (and, or, but, however) and subordinating conjunctions such as (because, so that, after, until, if) are used to construct coherent, logical, and easily understood sentences. The appropriate use of conjunctions supports the effective delivery of information and enhances the reader's comprehension of the news content. This research is expected to serve as a reference for readers or future researchers who wish to examine linguistic phenomena in online news texts using a similar approach.

Abstract

Iklan memiliki peran penting membangun kesadaran merek dalam strategi pemasaran, perkembangan teknologi saat ini menyebabkan model pemasaran berubah menjadi digital. Salah satu model digital pemasaran adalah dengan memasang iklan di media sosial, tujuannya untuk memberikan informasi mengenai suatu merek kepada masyarakat yang lebih luas. Pemberian informasi mengenai suatu merek akan menyebabkan meningkatnya kesadaran merek pada konsumen. Kesadaran merek memiliki peran penting dalam keberhasilan sebuah perusahaan. Dalam era digital saat ini, platform media sosial seperti YouTube merupakan saluran yang efektif untuk mempromosikan merek ataupun produk perusahaan. Pada konteks ini, penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklan YouTube #TiketHariRaya terhadap kesadaran merek aplikasi Tiket.com pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi dan Kesehatan Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo yang mudik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana. Data diambil dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dalam bentuk google form yang diisi oleh responden sesuai kriteria. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 110 Mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa iklan YouTube #TiketHariRaya memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan sebesar 67% terhadap kesadaran merek pada aplikasi Tiket.com. Melalui iklan ini, perusahaan Tiket.com berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan penonton tentang merek Tiket.com serta meningkatnya kesadaran merek diantara target pasar. Penemuan ini memperhatikan mengenai pentingnya iklan YouTube dalam membangun kesadaran merek dan memperluas jangkauan merek dalam persaingan industri aplikasi perjalanan yang semakin ketat. Manfaat penelitian ini merupakan panduan bagi perusahaan dalam merencanakan strategi iklan yang efektif di platform YouTube untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek serta memaksimalkan penggunaan aplikasi Tiket.com.

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of politeness principles in Raditya Dika’s YouTube series Cerita Cintaku using a descriptive qualitative approach within a pragmatic framework. The data consist of 53 utterances collected from four videos, representing Leech’s politeness maxims, including tact, generosity, approbation, modesty, agreement, and sympathy. The findings show that the generosity and modesty maxims are the most dominant, indicating Dika’s consistent effort to maintain ethical and respectful communication by prioritizing audience comfort and feelings. His style reflects empathy, humility, and sensitivity, even when delivering humor in a stand-up storytelling format. These results highlight that entertaining digital content can still uphold politeness values effectively. The study provides useful insights for students, educators, and language researchers in understanding the application of politeness strategies in modern communication contexts. In addition, it offers practical guidance for content creators and public figures to balance engaging content with respectful interaction to build positive and sustainable relationships with audiences in digital platforms today.
