Abstract

The franchise business trend is growing rapidly, including in the iced tea trade. One of them that is currently viral is the Solo iced tea franchise business. This research examines the widespread trading of solo iced tea franchises from the field and habitus perspective of Pierre Boudieu. In this research, researchers used a qualitative and descriptive approach about the rise of the Solo Ice Tea Business. The author uses case study research with literature study and in-depth interviews. Habitus' perspective shows that people's consumption habits and preferences for local products contribute to the popularity and growth of this franchise. The development of the Es Teh Solo franchise is strongly influenced by the interaction between social structure (Field) and individual disposition (Habitus). The combination of economic, social and cultural capital is the key to success in a competitive market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis platform Kitabisa.com sebagai praktik crowdfunding di Indonesia dan mengetahui bagaimana dampaknya bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Kitabisa.com, sebagai salah satu platform crowdfunding terbesar di Indonesia, memberikan ruang bagi individu dan organisasi untuk menggalang dana bagi berbagai kebutuhan, mulai dari bantuan medis, pendidikan, hingga proyek sosial. Kitabisa.com sebagai Platform crowdfunding telah berkembang pesat di Indonesia, menjadi wadah bagi masyarakat untuk menggalang dana dan berdonasi untuk berbagai tujuan sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kitabisa.com telah memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat karena mampu menggerakkan solidaritas sosial, mempercepat proses penggalangan dana, serta meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana publik. Adanya pltform Kitabisa.com ini dapat meningkatkan akses pendanaan bagi individu dan organisasi yang membutuhkan bantuan dan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan donasi karena masyarakat dapat melakukannya dengan mudah tanpa terhalang jarak dan waktu. Namun perlu dilakukan upaya untuk mengatasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi platform ini agar dapat memberikan manfaat yang lebih luas dan optimal bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Weverse is a platform launched by HYBE Corporation in 2019 and has played a central role in facilitating interactions between fans and artists in the Korean music industry (K-pop). Through exclusive access to content, direct communication with artists, and a membership system offering discounts and exclusive content, Weverse has become a "home" for K-pop fans and an important revenue source in the industry's economy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a systematic literature analysis design to explore the impact of Weverse in the K-pop industry, highlighting the importance of this platform in deepening the relationship between artists and fans as well as its contribution to the business model and economy in the Korean music industry.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the socio-economic transformations that occur in the digital economy era, with a focus on Various techniques and methods that have been described by the author in various literatures, journals, papers, and other publications have been researched and identified. The qualitative method was chosen because it is considered the most suitable approach to explore and understand phenomena as well as answer the questions that arise. Using an economic sociology approach, this study explores how social interactions, economic structures, and consumption patterns are changing along with the development of digital technologies and online platforms. The results show that online platforms not only change the way they transact and do business, but also affect social relations, economic stratification, and social mobility. The platform provides new opportunities for economic inclusion and wider participation in the market, but also poses challenges related to digital inequality and labor exploitation. Thus, this research contributes to understanding the socio-economic implications of digital transformation and provides insight for the development of more inclusive and equitable policies in the digital economic era.

Abstract

The phenomenon of drug abuse among teenagers has become a serious concern in Indonesia. This research discusses social alienation as one of the main factors triggering such behavior. Using the approaches of Differential Association Theory, Anomie, and Social Control, as well as descriptive qualitative methods, this research explores how social isolation, anomie pressure, and weak social control can act as catalysts for drug use among adolescents. The results show that social isolation increases the risk of negative influences from unhealthy environments, such as friendships involved in drug use. This research recommends community-based intervention strategies to address this issue.

Abstract

Penganiayaan terhadap anak merupakan fenomena sosial yang kompleks dan memprihatinkan, dengan dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi dan faktor-faktor pemicu yang berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya penganiayaan terhadap anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, studi literatur, dan analisis dokumen terkait kasus penganiayaan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pemicu penganiayaan terhadap anak meliputi tekanan ekonomi keluarga, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan orang tua, pola asuh yang tidak sesuai, serta pengaruh lingkungan sosial yang permisif terhadap kekerasan. Selain itu, lemahnya sistem perlindungan anak dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat juga menjadi faktor pendukung yang memperburuk kondisi ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya intervensi holistik melalui peningkatan edukasi orang tua, penguatan sistem perlindungan anak, dan upaya kolaboratif lintas sektor untuk mencegah dan menangani kasus penganiayaan anak secara efektif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pembuat kebijakan, praktisi sosial, dan akademisi dalam merancang strategi pencegahan dan penanganan yang komprehensif.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a form of social deviation that violates norms in a family and society. Domestic violence is often triggered by emotional tension and interpersonal conflict, such as betrayal by a partner. This study aims to identify the motives of perpetrators of domestic violence and the factors that influence this criminal behavior. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with prisoners involved in domestic violence cases. The results of the study indicate that uncontrolled emotions, relationship tensions, and poor communication are the main factors that trigger violence. This phenomenon illustrates the importance of emotional management and rehabilitation to prevent the recurrence of domestic violence.

Abstract

Abstract. Robbery is a criminal act that involves the seizure of property through violence or threats, often targeting individuals in public places. This study aims to explore the factors that drive individuals to engage in robbery, focusing on the experiences of a prisoner at Cipinang Prison. The research employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and observations, allowing the researcher to gain a comprehensive understanding of the social, economic, and interactional backgrounds of the perpetrator. The findings indicate that MAA's decision to commit robbery was influenced by economic pressure, the loss of a parent, and associations with friends involved in criminal activities. Furthermore, social interaction and communication with his group played a crucial role in shaping the norms and rationalizations that supported his criminal behavior. Thus, this research emphasizes the importance of understanding the social and economic context of offenders to develop more effective prevention strategies and foster a safer environment for the community. Abstrak. Pembegalan adalah tindakan kriminal yang melibatkan perampasan barang dengan kekerasan atau ancaman, sering kali menargetkan individu di tempat umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali faktor-faktor yang mendorong individu terlibat dalam tindakan pembegalan, dengan fokus pada pengalaman seorang narapidana di Lapas Cipinang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai latar belakang sosial, ekonomi, dan interaksi pelaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan MAA untuk melakukan pembegalan dipengaruhi oleh tekanan ekonomi, kehilangan orang tua, dan pergaulan dengan teman-teman yang terlibat dalam kejahatan. Selain itu, interaksi sosial dan komunikasi dengan kelompoknya berperan penting dalam membentuk norma dan rasionalisasi yang mendukung perilaku kriminal. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya memahami konteks sosial dan ekonomi pelaku kejahatan untuk merancang strategi pencegahan yang lebih efektif dan menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of student brawls in Indonesia, focusing on the social factors influencing such behavior. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research was conducted over one month, from October to December 2024. The informant in this study consisted of one inmate involved in a brawl, selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study indicate that student brawls are triggered by various factors, including social environment influences, peer pressure, and individual failures in building a positive identity. The case studied shows that group solidarity often obscures individual fear and morality, leading to aggressive actions that can result in physical injury, damage to public facilities, and even loss of life. Referring to Karl Marx's conflict theory, this study analyzes that social conflict arises from the unequal distribution of power in society. This study emphasizes the importance of supervision from various parties, such as families, schools, and communities, to prevent deviant behavior among adolescents.

Abstract

Abstract. Sexual assault and harassment against women are forms of gender-based violence that have become serious issues in various countries, both developing and developed. This problem involves not only individual aspects but also results from discriminatory social norms that place women in subordinate positions. Social stigma often serves as a barrier for victims to report incidents, while patriarchal culture exacerbates gender injustice. The psychological impact on victims is significant, causing trauma that disrupts mental health. Women's financial dependence also contributes to the difficulty of fighting violence, perpetuating this cycle. Additionally, the development of technology and social media has created new forms of harassment, such as cyber harassment, which are becoming increasingly complex. A lack of digital literacy makes women vulnerable targets. Therefore, there is a need for an approach that integrates education, legal reform, and social support to address this issue. Efforts to empower women and prevent gender-based violence must be designed to involve all layers of society and address the root causes of gender inequality.
