Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran mempunyai manfaat yang cukup besar dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran yang kompleks, seperti materi Siklus Air pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Pengembangan media pop-up book pada pembelajaran materi siklus air pada siswa kelas 4 SDN 1 Waung bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan minat siswa dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pop-up book pada materi siklus air untuk siswa kelas 4 SDN 1 Waung. Proses pengembangan dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, desain, produksi, dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil evaluasi dan validasi media pop up book menunjukkan tingkat validitas yang tinggi, memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman siswa, semangat belajar, dan minat belajar siswa. Media ini juga dinilai sangat praktis dan mudah digunakan baik oleh guru maupun siswa, memberikan variasi pembelajaran yang menarik dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Uji coba media pop-up book di kelas membuahkan respon positif dari siswa, namun terdapat kelemahan terkait persepsi sebagian siswa mengenai kebosanan dalam pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan media pop-up book dikembangkan dengan baik, memiliki tingkat validitas tinggi, praktis digunakan, dan memberikan hasil positif selama uji coba. Pengembangan selanjutnya perlu memperhatikan saran perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas media ini dalam menunjang pembelajaran siswa.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of elementary school students in preventing and addressing bullying, particularly cyberbullying. The activity was conducted at SDN 1 Beji, Boyolangu, Tulungagung, involving students from grades 1 to 6. The implementation methods included an initial observation to identify students’ conditions and needs, educational counseling using an interactive approach, and an evaluation through questionnaires to measure students’ understanding and behavioral changes. The results show a significant improvement in students’ comprehension of bullying concepts and their ability to identify various forms of bullying. In addition, the program encouraged a behavioral shift among students, from previously acting only as bystanders to becoming more proactive in reporting bullying incidents and offering support to victims. Overall, this program proved effective in creating a safer school environment and increasing students’ awareness of the importance of bullying prevention.

Abstract

Banyak individu yang sebenarnya memiliki keluhan kesehatan ringan namun tidak memahami penyebabnya. Dengan pendekatan dialogis, pendamping dapat menggali informasi mengenai pola hidup, kebiasaan makan, atau aktivitas harian yang dapat memicu keluhan tersebut. Banyak kelompok yang belum memiliki akses memadai terhadap layanan kesehatan dasar, sehingga pemeriksaan rutin sering terabaikan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan berbagai penyakit tidak terdeteksi sejak dini dan berdampak pada meningkatnya risiko komplikasi. Upaya untuk mendekatkan layanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat terus dibutuhkan sebagai bagian dari strategi pencegahan. Pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar menjadi langkah awal untuk mengetahui kondisi tubuh seseorang secara objektif. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) karena pendekatan ini menempatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra aktif dalam seluruh proses kegiatan, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Metode ini dipilih agar masyarakat tidak hanya menjadi penerima manfaat, tetapi turut berperan dalam membangun kesadaran dan kemandirian dalam menjaga kesehatan. Program dilaksanakan di Desa Pucanglaban, Kecamatan Pucanglaban, Kabupaten Tulungagung, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Hasil pelaksanaan program pendampingan kesehatan di Desa Pucanglaban menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memiliki antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar dan sesi edukasi gaya hidup sehat, terlihat dari tingginya jumlah peserta yang hadir hingga melebihi target awal. Temuan ini menjadi dasar bahwa masyarakat memerlukan pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai pengelolaan kesehatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the use of learning media in grade V at SDN 1 Panggungrejo and SDN 3 Mojosari. After conducting a survey, the author identified problems, such as the lack of optimal use of learning media by teachers, which resulted in students paying less attention to teachers when delivering material during the learning process in the classroom. To overcome this problem, the researcher provided waterwheel-based diorama media to evaluate whether its use had an impact or not. The method used in this study was quantitative with a quasi-experimental research model in the form of multiple-choice questions. The instruments, in the form of pre-tests and post-tests, were administered in the control class and the experimental class to test students' understanding, and an analysis was conducted to calculate the t-test. The results showed that the experimental class, which used waterwheel-based diorama media, had an effect on students' understanding of the IPAS subject matter on ecosystems. This was in accordance with the calculations made using JAMOVI 2.3.28. A P value of 0.667 was obtained. Because the p value > 0.05, Ho is accepted, so it can be said that there was no effect on the conceptual understanding of elementary school students in the experimental class compared to the control class when the pretest was conducted. Meanwhile, when the posttest was conducted in the control and experimental classes, a p-value < 0.001 was obtained, which means it is less than or lower than (< 0.05). The p-value is < 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect on the concept comprehension test between students who participated in learning using waterwheel-based diorama media and students who participated in learning without using waterwheel-based diorama media. Ha: μ1 ≠ μ2. In conclusion, the application of waterwheel-based diorama learning media has a significant effect on fifth-grade elementary school students' understanding of ecosystem material.

Based on the results of the hypothesis, it was found that there was a significant influence of wordwall media on the understanding of the concept of special characteristics of animals in class IV elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop, test the validity, and test the practicality of assisted digital media quizwhizzer on the topic of human blood circulation. This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis (Anaylsis), planning (Design), development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and evaluation (Evaluation). The data collection technique was carried out by testing the validity of the media, materials, learning and distributing questionnaires. The instruments used in this research used media expert validation sheets, material expert validation, learning expert validation, teacher and student questionnaire sheets. The results of the average media validity are 86.5% in the "very valid" category. The average validity of material experts is 85.5%, included in the "very valid" category. The percentage of validity of media use for learning experts is 91% in the "very valid" category. Based on the results of the questionnaire, class V students at SD Negeri 1 Sambijajar obtained a percentage of 91% so they were declared "very practical". The results of the teacher questionnaire obtained 92.5% in the "very practical" category. So it can be concluded that digital learning media is assisted quizwhizzer on the topic of human blood circulation is declared valid and practical for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the skills in children's reading skills. Currently, children are less motivated to read, so applications are needed that support children's reading skills. This research aims to describe the use of the cloud literacy platform in supporting the reading aloud activities of Tunas Gama Kindergarten children in Jepara Regency. The learning journey continues to be innovative and dynamic, children at the Kindergarten level must continue to improve their literacy skills. Literacy skills are very important in building children's intellectual and language culture so that they think correctly and can be held accountable. By providing cloud literacy platform media, it can at least provide something interesting so that children can read interesting story books on the platform. The research approach used is a qualitative study with a narrative study research design. The research was carried out at Tunas Gama Kindergarten in the 2024 academic year with primary data including teachers and children aged 4-6 years. Data collection techniques obtained through observation, documentation studies, and field notes. The research results show that through cloud literacy platform facilities it can at least support children in reading aloud activities on an ongoing basis. The use of cloud literacy media is an effective component in increasing success in children's language development process. The conclusions from the research show that there is a significant influence from the use of the cloud literacy platform in supporting children's reading aloud activities, so that children's literacy skills become significant.

Abstract

The problems that arise in terms of students are: most students have not been able to compile thematic model lesson plans, students have not been able to develop thematic learning models critically and creatively, students have not been able to determine the right theme as an umbrella for the various disciplines that will be taught. The aim of the research is to develop and test the effectiveness of teaching materials for Thematic Learning courses in improving students' critical thinking skills. The product trial subjects consisted of learning expert tests, subject matter experts, learning media experts, group tests, and field tests. The instruments used are validation sheets, questionnaires, tests of critical thinking skills. The teaching materials developed have proven to be quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The results of the calculation of the N-gain test score 0.59 in the moderate category, 59.48% in the quite effective category, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 there is a significant (real) difference in effectiveness between the use of developed teaching materials and existing teaching materials to improve skills critical thinking.
