Abstract

Types of research This use preliminary research which is part from study This is the model used is adopted development from Borg & Gall. Instruments used questionnaires and guidelines observation. Subjects involved _ are teacher and child age early childhood aged 5-6 years, totaling 14 children. Analysis done with method percentage, results analysis explained based on formulas and processing in data collection, planning, development draft product, and testing as well as revision from test results that have been carried out done. The implications can used in activity diverse and interesting learning _ with literacy science.

Abstract

Kemandirian merupakan aspek fundamental dalam perkembangan anak usia dini yang dapat didorong melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Salah satu metode yang terbukti efektif adalah cooking class, yang memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cooking class terhadap peningkatan kemandirian anak serta mengukur efektivitasnya dibandingkan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen, melibatkan 30 anak kelompok B di TK Ikal Iqra’ DWP Perum Bulog Padang, yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (B1) dan kelompok kontrol (B2). Data dikumpulkan melalui format checklist sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Bartlett, serta uji t (t-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemandirian anak setelah mengikuti cooking class. Analisis effect size menunjukkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 1,25, yang mengindikasikan dampak besar dari intervensi ini terhadap kemandirian anak. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa cooking class dapat diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran efektif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kemandirian, sosial, kognitif, dan motorik anak. Namun, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada jumlah sampel yang relatif kecil dan durasi intervensi yang terbatas, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih luas dan periode pengamatan yang lebih panjang guna mengonfirmasi temuan ini.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Picture Science Story (CSB) application integrated with local wisdom based on an Android application for early childhood. This application can be used with a touch screen. The aim of making this application is to introduce the science process skills and local wisdom to the children. The research method used was R and D. The initial stage of developing the CSB prototype model was to conduct the needs analysis, child characteristics, and curriculum analysis. Then, the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the CSB application were carried out. The application used a layered platform. Many experts from different fields were involved in the design process: graphic design experts to create images, multimedia experts to create applications, and teachers for the science material. The CSB prototype design was validated by material, media, and user experts, namely Al-Huffaz Kindergarten teachers and children. The participants in this research were 13 Alhufazh Kindergarten students. A questionnaire was given to get a response from the teachers, consisting of aspects of understanding multimedia, function, and configuration. The average score of the teachers’ responses was 92%. Meanwhile, the average score of children's responses was 95%. Based on the results of validation and trials, it was found that the CSB application integrated with local wisdom based on an Android application was valid, effective, and practical for early childhood. The suggestions from users require multidisciplinary knowledge in designing picture-science stories based on Android applications. Then, the feedback addressed the importance of using the Science Story Creation prototype and integration of the Local Wisdom of Minangkabau Culture to introduce Early Childhood Science Literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan bahasa anak pada usia tiga tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi dan dokumentasi selama empat hari. Hasil mini riset ini menunjukkan bahwa anak tersebut mengalami perkembangan bahasa sesuai dengan tingkat pencapaian pada usianya. Yang mana anak sudah mampu menggunakan dua sampai tiga kata dalam pengucapan, kosakata yang dimiliki sudah lebih dari lima puluh kata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal yang ditemukan peneliti, anak tidak menunjukkan sikap peduli terhadap lingkungan. Kondisi ini terjadi akibat kurang efisiennya model pembelajaran yang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kepribadian sadar lingkungan anak di TK Pertiwi 1 Kantor Gubernur Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 28 orang, yaitu Kelas B1 sebanyak 14 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan Kelas B3 sebanyak 14 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga uji yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Pada hasil penelitian, karakter peduli lingkungan dikelas eksperimen lebih berpengaruh dari pada hasil karakter peduli lingkungan anak dikelas kontrol karena anak antusias dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran sehingga anak mendapat pengalaman secara langsung dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan hanya guru menjelaskan di depan kelas dan anak mengkerjakan lembar kerja. Hasil rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa 62,8% pembelajaran berbasis proyek memberikan dampak terhadap kesadaran lingkungan anak di TK Pertiwi 1 Kantor Gubernur Padang. Jadi, disimpulkan bahwa project based learning sangat efektif untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak untuk menstimulasi karakter peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to: describe the forms of student character at SDN 03 Sungai Angek, describe the character development carried out at SDN 03 Sungai Angek, describe the teacher's strategy in forming student character, describe the implementation teachers towards the principal's program about realizing good student character at SDN 03 Sungai Angek. The method used is a qualitative type, with research data collection obtained using the triangulation technique with documentation, interviews, and observation data collection techniques. The steps to analyze the data are by collecting data, reducing the data, and presenting the data. The results of this research show that the material for character development for students at SDN 03 Sungai Angek includes religious character development, disciplinary character development, and social character development. The formation of student character can be started from several methods, namely making daily worship reports, greeting parents before leaving for school, and applying smiles and greetings in society and the environment. The teacher's strategy in forming student character is through an integration strategy which includes: first, integrating character through daily activities in the form of providing examples such as warnings, advice, and routine activities.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan fondasi utama dalam perkembangan anak yang perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif TERBACA sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif guna meningkatkan kemampuan literasi awal anak di taman kanak-kanak. Pengembangan produk dilakukan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek uji coba adalah anak kelompok besar di salah satu taman kanak-kanak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menilai validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif TERBACA memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis, serta mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi awal anak secara signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa TERBACA tidak hanya memperkaya strategi pembelajaran literasi di pendidikan anak usia dini, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap inovasi media digital yang selaras dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka. Dengan demikian, media ini dapat dijadikan alternatif yang efektif dan mudah diakses untuk mendukung pembelajaran literasi yang menarik, interaktif, dan bermakna bagi anak

Abstract

Children's numerical literacy skills have not developed optimally. This can be seen in learning, where although children can mention numbers 1 to 20, they still have difficulty recognizing number symbols and matching the number with the number symbol. This condition is caused by the lack of use of technology-based learning media specifically designed for children. This research aims to develop QR Code-based smart box media to improve early childhood numerical literacy skills. This research method uses the Research and Development model from Borg and Gall. Validation was carried out by 3 experts, the test subjects were Pertiwi 1 Padang kindergarten students. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness test analysis using SPSS V. 25. Based on the results of the analysis, the QR Code-based smart box media has 96% instrument validation test results, 90% media validation test and 92% material validation test with very valid eligibility criteria. Based on the calculation of the N-Gain test results of 0.52, meaning that the development of QR Code-based smart box media to improve early childhood numerical literacy skills is in the medium category. Furthermore, a paired sample t-test was conducted with the results of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 with α = 0.05 which means that there is a difference in the average value between the pretest and posttest scores of numerical literacy skills in early childhood. It can be concluded that the development of QR Code-based smart box media is effective for significantly improving the numerical literacy skills of early childhood in kindergarten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran Marble Painting sebagai strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Model ini dirancang agar dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar seni yang menyenangkan melalui aktivitas bermain dan eksplorasi warna, sesuai dengan karakteristik serta tahapan perkembangan anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Validasi kelayakan dilakukan oleh dua validator, yaitu ahli model pembelajaran dan ahli media–kreativitas. Selain itu, dilakukan uji praktikalitas kepada dua guru PAUD serta uji implementasi pembelajaran pada anak kelompok B di TK Husnul Yaqin Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Marble Painting berada pada kategori valid dengan persentase kelayakan 87%, kategori sangat praktis dengan skor 90%, serta media pendukung memperoleh nilai kelayakan 95%, dan instrumen kreativitas sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba, model pembelajaran ini dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran seni untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning model based on sensory play using natural materials to improve fine motor skills in early childhood at Metta Karunia Kindergarten School. The model was developed using a Research and Development (R&D) approach through the ADDIE model stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The model is designed to provide a fun and meaningful learning experience through the exploration of natural materials such as sand, seeds, clay, and gonggong shells. The research results show that the developed learning model is highly valid, with media validation at 81% (fairly valid), material validation at 93% (very valid), and instrument validation at 91% (very valid). The practicality test resulted in a score of 95% (very practical), while the model's effectiveness in improving children's fine motor skills reached 93% (very effective). The final product of this research is a learning model guide that can be used by teachers in thematic learning activities, particularly on the theme of the natural environment. The implications of this study indicate that using sensory play based on natural materials not only supports the development of fine motor skills but also strengthens the values of cooperation and children's creativity. This model is feasible for broader implementation and further development in other learning themes.
